NEOM announced its partnership with JLS Yachts, a leading Middle East-based yacht agency, and concierge service provider, as a ‘key partner superyacht agency’ for Sindalah.
Rising out of the pristine waters of the Red Sea off Saudi Arabia’s northwestern coast, Sindalah, is NEOM’s luxury island development.
Set to open in 2024, Sindalah will be NEOM’s first tourism destination, offering visitors a luxury lifestyle experience. Sindalah is one of NEOM’s 41 islands, which aims to be a world-leading yachting ecosystem with more than 5,000 berths.
NEOM said its partnership with JLS Yachts will support the island’s vision of becoming a global yachting destination, with the island located just 17 hours’ sailing from the Mediterranean. The agency’s office within the island’s marina will provide a comprehensive range of world-class services for the comfort and pleasure of the yachting community, including berthing, provisioning, bunkering, customs clearance, transportation and travel arrangements.
The appointment of JLS Yachts as NEOM’s second official yachting partner, follows the June 2023 announcement that Monaco-based BWA Yachting would be establishing an office at the Sindalah marina.
Sindalah as a yachting destination
In its release, NEOM said JLS Yachts will bring its regional expertise to Sindalah as it prepares to welcome the world’s most discerning superyacht clientele during 2024. Leveraging its service excellence and its established presence in the Arabian Gulf region and Indian Ocean, JLS Yachts is positioned to service the island’s clientele.
Antoni Vives, chief urban development officer at NEOM, said , “Sindalah will demonstrate to the world another level of seamless luxury and invite the yachting community to a new seasonal destination in the majestic waters of the Red Sea. With a core team of 34 professionals totaling more than 130 combined years of marine experience, JLS Yachts’ dedicated personnel are poised to cater to every aspect of superyacht maritime services.
The company also provides extensive training offerings to develop the next generation of yacht enthusiasts, captains, and crew.

With 86 berths for yachts up to 50 meters and additional serviced offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 meters, the Sindalah marina aims to become a new hub for the global yachting calendar.
NEOM is a region in northwest Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea being built from the ground up as a living laboratory – a place where entrepreneurship will chart the course for this New Future. NEOM said it is working on building hyperconnected, cognitive cities, ports and enterprise zones, research centers, sports and entertainment venues, and tourist destinations.

IMG Golf Course Services to open 9-hole beachfront golf course in Sindalah
NEOM has today announced a partnership with industry leader IMG Golf Course Services to open a groundbreaking 9-hole beachfront golf course on the luxury island, Sindalah.
IMG Golf Course Services has been appointed to provide pre-opening, marketing and management services to the Golf Club at Sindalah, which will be a year-round, exclusive venue, elevating the golfing experience in the Middle East.
The first island golf course of its kind in the GCC, Sindalah will offer an entirely unique golfing experience for all visitors, from amateurs and young players to experienced enthusiasts and golfing professionals. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the 6,474-yard (5,920 meters) par 70 golf course will boast 9 holes and 18 teeing points, as well as a 280-meter driving range and golf practice suites fitted with state-of-the-art ball tracking technology and statistics feedback. The course is also set to be GEO-certified, meaning it will demonstrate the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility.
The IMG Golf Course Services team will manage the onsite sports club, which will offer multiple membership options for visitors to enjoy the very best facilities, equipment, and services, including a luxurious gym, an Olympic-size swimming pool, an indulgent spa, and sports courts. The Sindalah Golf Academy will further complement the facilities with multiple performance studios offering the latest in custom-fitting and golf-learning technology.
Perfectly positioned as a glamorous gateway to the Red Sea, Sindalah will redefine the luxury island experience and welcome in a new dimension of exquisite, curated travel. Sindalah is one of a group of islands off the NEOM coastline and will be the Red Sea region’s first ultra-prime superyacht destination. Opening in Q1 2024, the island will be the first iteration of NEOM to be unveiled to the world and will offer a taste of NEOM’s vision that will come to life in the coming years with THE LINE, Oxagon and Trojena.

In addition to the golf course, Sindalah will offer exquisite dining experiences with restaurants boasting global Michelin-starred chefs, an innovative and experiential retail offering, and an ultra-prime marina with 86 berths for yachts up to 50 meters and additional serviced offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 meters.
Sindalah will also be home to a beach club hosted by top global entertainment icons, a Marine Activities Centre facilitating adventures above and below the sea and three luxury hotels, including a Four Seasons Resort and Saudi Arabia’s first Marriott International Autograph Collection Hotels property. The island is being developed sustainably, with its design helmed by Italy’s Luca Dini Design & Architecture and inspired by the coral reefs and waterscapes of the surrounding Red Sea.

Neom’s Sindalah is set to become a superyacht destination with JLS Yachts

Neom is one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious megaprojects. The development aims to redefine urban living, and includes futuristic as well as luxurious projects. Now, Sindalah has announced that JLS Yachts, a leading Middle East-based yacht agency and concierge provider, will be the superyacht partner.
Sindalah’s island development will be located in The Red Sea in northwest Saudi Arabia. Scheduled to open in 2024, the island will be Neom’s first tourism destination, and is a 17-hour sail from the Mediterranean. Upon completion, the site will include 41 islands and a luxury yachting ecosystem with more than 5,000 berths. Plus, 86 berths for yachts up to 50 meters, and buoys for superyachts of up to 180 meters.
Neom has partnered with JLS Yachts, as it aims for Sindalah to become a global yachting destination. The site plans to create a yachting community and provide berthing, provisioning, bunkering, customs clearance, transportation and travel arrangements.
