Founded in 1945, the Kelowna Yacht Club is located in the heart of Downtown Kelowna. With a new clubhouse built in 2014, the club is situated alongside Okanagan Lake. It is within walking distance from all major tourist attractions including the Delta Grand Hotel and Casino, Prospera Place Arena, the Downtown Boardwalk and many parks and beaches.

  • Conference & Meetings

The newly built clubhouse boasts the largest patio in the Okanagan, with stunning lake and mountain views. The Restaurant and Lounge offer an upscale-casual dining experience perfect for celebrating an occasion or enjoying a fireside drink with friends. Five private meeting rooms are available for rent, including a Boardroom and two event spaces with patios overlooking the lake. Guest moorage is available in the Club basin, as well as sailboat, kayak and paddleboard rentals.

  • Dress Code No formal dress code applies. Gentlemen patrons of the Members Lounge are not permitted to wear hats while in the Members Lounge.
  • Age Restriction Guests under the age of nineteen are welcome to the club, however are not permitted to be in the Members Lounge after 10:00p.m. even when accompanied by an adult.
  • Dogs Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted in the Club.
  • Smoking The club is non-smoking.

At our lakefront location in the heart of downtown Kelowna, we provide our members with top-quality moorage in Canada's largest fresh-water marina, excellent food and beverage service, social events and opportunities to assist others in the community. A not-for-profit volunteer-run organization, we've been supporting boater education and safe, responsible enjoyment of Okanagan Lake since 1945. The Kelowna Yacht Club understands that everyone is unique. That’s why we offer a variety of membership options to suit your specific needs. Whether you are looking for a place to moor your boat, hold your business meetings or unwind after a long day, we have the membership for you.

To be a member of the Yacht Club de Monaco is above all a commitment. It is a desire to preserve a certain ethic, both on land and on the water, and to foster a respect for naval etiquette and preservation of the environment.

Before 8.00 pm

Navy blue, double or single-breasted jacket, the top breast pocket should bear the Club’s coat of arms. Club dress code requires that ‘blazers’ be worn in the following manner:

– No pocket handkerchief is to be worn above the top breast-pocket bearing the Club’s coat of arms. – Buttons should be black or navy blue, preferably bearing the Club’s insignia. – Gold or silver buttons are reserved for officers.

Light-blue shirt & YCM Tie

After 8.00pm

Evening wear.

Navy blue, double or single-breasted jacket, the top breast pocket should bear the Club’s coat of arms,

White shirt,

YCM evening tie worn with the YCM tie pin (the pin is to be worn 10cm from the tie knot).

From 1st October to 30th April: Grey skirt (ladies) or grey trousers (ladies, gentlemen)

From 1st May to 30th September: White skirt (ladies) or white trousers (ladies, gentlemen)
