Upon departure, a sumptuous buffet dinner awaits, complemented by an assortment of fresh seasonal salads and cold dishes. Wonderful experience! Food was great! Staff was attentive and personable. The views made it exceptional! Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, NYC skyline! Magical night! Would recommend!

When we started this journey, we had no idea where we were headed. We began looking at venues that were intimate and unique in size. Then, someone suggested renting a yacht outside of New York and cruising around Manhattan. This idea intrigued us, so we explored various options and ultimately fell in love with the Sundancer, a Cornucopia Cruise Line vessel. We decided to do a dinner cruise on one of the Cornucopia ships and were amazed not only by the food and ambiance but also by the idea of renting a small vessel to accommodate our party of 40. We met with Lorri, our sales manager, who guided us through the process with incredible helpfulness and knowledge. She was there every step of the way. We also took a tour of the Sundancer with Daisy, who answered all of our questions thoroughly and made us feel confident that we had selected the perfect wedding venue. The Sundancer was the ideal size for us to enjoy an intimate wedding with the most beautiful skyline in the world. You cannot beat the views. On the night of our event, Ghassan, our maître d', took care of all our needs, accommodating our every request. The food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff went above and beyond our expectations. The captain made sure we saw every possible view to capture beautiful pictures. Every detail was meticulously covered by the team. A special thanks to everyone who made our day extraordinary. We will definitely be back to celebrate our milestones. Thank you, Cornucopia Cruise Line, for making our wedding day unforgettable.

The experience was overall very nice. We cruised on their Father's Day Brunch. The food was amazing.carmen, our server. was very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was very fun and slightly elegant. Nice DJ and dancing vibes. We really enjoyed it.

This cruise should be called the NJ Industrial/State DOT/Oil Tank cruise. The boat stays in the bay going in a circle. The views are not appealing but the service people did a nice job.

This was the highlight of our trip to NYC. We booked the cruise via groupon and it was worth every penny. We took a taxi to Hoboken and had a blast on this cruise. Hoboken is a cute little town with pretty Christmas lights in the months leading up to the holidays and it might be worth walking around before boarding the cruise ship. On board the ship we were seated with a few other couples in our age range and they were all really nice. They were all local to the areas around Hoboken and we got along great. The Food: The food onboard the ship was delicious. This was eve best food we had the entire time we were in New York. My fiancé loves cheesecake and they had a delicious cheesecake he could enjoy for dessert too. Entrees included a buffet of salmon, chicken, vegetables, pasta, potatoes, beans, brisket, and lots more. The Music: The music was fantastic! We danced all night long to Latin music, the oldies, 90's, and current pop songs. We definitely got a workout! The Cruise: The cruise takes you along the Hudson River and had amazing views of the Statue of Liberty. We got some amazing photos in front of the Statue of Liberty and couldn't recommend this cruise enough. It's absolutely a must-see activity for locals or anyone visiting New York City. The staff was friendly and attentive, and eager to accommodate food allergies. The food was tasty. The sail was smooth and on time.

The food wasn't that great and considering that for all the money you pay they don't even have to go containers was a mess. The only thing given was a piece of foil for you to wrap your food up in. The DJ only started playing decent music to dance to once the cruise was ready to dock. I feel bad for the worker that got sick for whatever reason because the rest of the staff wasn't really up to par those that were service related. The older woman I guess that's the owner or whatever she is her attitude sucked the whole entire time. This was the Perth Amboy location as well if this is helpful. Will never try again.

Tips: get there early for a good table, do NOT pre buy the wine. They will say they are out and upscale an equvilant bottle Food is medicore at best. Astronomical price for a sub par view of the city. Boat goes extremely slow. Barley make it to statue of liberty. Would NOT recommend.

I had an excellent time on this cruise. Unfortunately it was too windy to set sail, but the evening was still great. We couldn't even tell that we hadn't sailed. Our server Ronaldo was the sweetest gentleman checking on us often and being so helpful. The food was delicious! They had warm bread waiting at our table, then we received a salad, pasta, the main course beef short rib cooked excellent, with delicious mashed potatoes, string beans, and fresh salmon. For dessert I had the chocolate cake which I was too full to even finish! The music was amazing, something for everyone. It wasn't crowded at all. I will definitely be going again when the weather is nicer so we can actually set sail.

It is a good size yacht but decoration is a bit antiquated. The windows are cloudy and you can smell the smoke from the engine when in the top deck. Bathrooms need some remodeling as well but it was a still a fun cruise.

If jet setting to the Italian Riviera isn’t in the cards this year, something new is making waves closer to home. Step aboard Martinetti Hospitality Group ’s 60-foot Italian-made yacht. The Sogno at Sea experience promises luxury, exceptional service, and mouthwatering food — akin to Sogno , their restaurant on land in Woburn.

Meaning "dream" in Italian, Sogno at Sea’s passengers lounge on one of the yacht’s three decks, cruising Boston Harbor with a cocktail in hand.

Co-owner John Paul Martignetti said the experience is completely customizable. From drinks to dessert, the Sogno executive chef oversees the entire meal.

With temps on the rise, this is one way to beat the heat this summer.

Syracuse Boat Tours offer themed cruises on Onondaga Lake

There are few American cities where you can relax on a boat in the middle of a lake and take in a sweeping view of the skyline as you sip a cocktail.

Syracuse is one of those geographically blessed cities where such pleasures are possible—if you own a boat, that is.

Now the boatless among us can enjoy a cruise around Onondaga Lake without the hassle of owning a boat, thanks to Syracuse Boat Tours , a new marine tourism-focused company that began booking cruises earlier this month.

The public response so far has been “pretty solid,” said owner/operator Annette Peters, a Syracuse native who lives on the Seneca River.

“I love this community, and we’ve got a jewel in Onondaga Lake that we just don’t appreciate,” Peters said. “I’ve taken people out on my boat on Onondaga Lake for years and they’re always so shocked how beautiful it is and how seldom its used.”

Peters says she’s picking up where Mid-Lakes Navigation, the last company to offer Onondaga Lake cruises, left off about 10 years ago. The company operates one boat at the moment, a 22-passenger pontoon boat.

Scheduled open-seating for one-hour or 90-minute cruises depart daily. The best way to get a seat is to book online . The boat is also available for private charters.

Depending on the cruise, admission costs $12.50-$15 for children; $27.50-$30 for adults.

Syracuse Boat Tours offers a range of themed cruises, including:

• Tiki Cruises: jam to Caribbean music as you sip fruity cocktails/mocktails. On Tiki Tuesdays the boat will pick you up and drop you off at the funky Tiki Bar on the Seneca River, where passengers get a ten percent discount.
• Happy Hour Cruises: Cruise from the Seneca River into the lake and watch the Syracuse skyline come into view. Music provided, or passengers can bring their own playlists.
• Historical Cruises: Narrated cruises that delve into the lake’s long history.
• Sunset Cruises: Get a front row seat to a spectacular sunset over the lake.

Other themed cruises will be scheduled throughout the summer, including a wine-tasting tour, a Seneca River cruise, bourbon-tasting tour, and fall cider and foliage tours.

If business is good, Peters plans to upgrade service next year with a bigger boat ideal for dinner cruises. The pontoon boat could then be used to shuttle passengers to the Amp, Inner Harbor/Aquarium, Onondaga Lake Park, or the Tiki Bar on the river.

As more people recognize Onondaga Lake as a tourist destination, Peters says she’s positioned to take advantage of CNY’s future growth.

“We need a water taxi, and this is the first one,” she said. “That’s the dream.”
