With the sleek, stylish lines you would expect from a Stefano Natucci-designed Benetti exterior, JO’s striking navy hull adds to her distinctive nautical good looks. Built in 2004 to the exacting standards you would expect from the acclaimed Italian shipyard, JO’s singular owner has ensured regular upgrades and extensive refits to ensure a top of the line charter experience. Her latest bow to stern refit was in 2013 with further interior refreshing in 2018.

Renowned interior designer François Zuretti has used neutral tones combined with limed oak and cherry wood to create warm, elegant, understated spaces with a contemporary feel. Fabulous living areas are the epitome of comfort and sophistication. The accommodations are luxurious with curved lines, soft lighting and rich fabrics from the likes of Mulberry, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Roche et Bobois and Versace. JO sleeps up to 12 in six exceptional staterooms including the impressive full-beam master stateroom with a private office and opulent his-and-hers en-suite. There are a further two double staterooms and two twins, as well as a multipurpose games room on the upper deck that can be converted into a double stateroom with an en-suite shower if required.

ENTERTAINING

Spread over three levels, JO has been designed with entertainment and socializing in mind at every turn. Generous deck spaces, ample areas for lounging and relaxing, outdoor bars and dining areas are perfect for family gatherings both in port and at sea. JO’s sundeck has a vast area for sunbathing and taking in the stunning surroundings in style after a cooling dip in the large Jacuzzi. A bar, barbecue and alfresco dining area add to the appeal and make this a go-to spot for charter guests.

A fold-down swim deck enhances the offering outside allowing for easy access to the array of toys JO has to offer—from windsurfers to wakeboards, to custom made water slide and paddleboards.

A General Description of Motor Yacht JO

This motor yacht JO is a 50 m 164 (ft) spacious steel vessel which was built by Benetti Yachts and designed by Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Natucci. Finished and launched in the year of 2004 the recent interior design promulgates the design knowledge of Zuretti Interior Design.

The Building & Design for Luxury Yacht JO

Fratelli Benetti was the naval architect firm involved in the professional superyacht design work for JO. Her interior design was completed by Zuretti Interior Design. Fratelli Benetti and Stefano Natucci is also associated with the yacht general design work for this yacht. Italy is the country that Benetti Yachts constructed their new build motor yacht in. After her formal launch in 2004 in Viareggio the boat was passed over to the happy owner after sea trials. Her core hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht main superstructure is fabricated largely from aluminium. With a width of 9 metres or 29.5 feet JO has spacious interior. She has a shallow draught of 2.5m (8.2ft). She had refit maintenance and modification carried out by 2007.

Fitted with twin MTU diesel main engines, JO can attain a top speed of 18 knots. JO is propelled by twin screw propellers. She also has an economical range of 3500 nautical miles when underway at her cruising speed of 16 knots. Her total HP is 4500 HP and her total Kilowatts are 3370.

Each member of the crew brings a different element to making the trip a success. Drey with his nature and bush skills, Dave with his calm teaching skills, Will with his energy and excitement, Adam with his giggling and spear fishing to name just a few, Chloe with her singing and as for the Captains parking skills…. Each year we say "this was the best trip ever" and we really mean it. They continually surprise us by going the extra mile with new and exciting activities each year. Survival skills on the beach, free diving lessons, windsurfing lessons, cricket on the beach the list is endless. Its always so sad to leave the JO bubble and go back to reality but with a smile on our faces from lots of happy memories. If you kindly pass on our congratulations to the owners for the new refurb and for employing the best boat crew ever and our thanks to Captain Bruce and his team for such a wonderful time of our lives trip!
