The 141m superyacht Swift141, christened 'Yas', was successfully launched by ADMShipyards in November 2011; entering the record books as both the largest launch of 2011 and most significant superyacht in recent history.
Yas’s distinctive narrow profile was built on the steel hull of a former Royal Dutch Navy Frigate built in 1978. Her frigate hull and lightweight composite superstructure help to enable the enormous vessel to reach impressive speeds of up to 26 knots. Yas was styled inside and out by Pierrejean Design in Paris, with a strikingly graceful exterior of fluid curves and volumes, and a spectacular structural covering of glass.
Streamlined elegance is what characterises her overarching design. Ever inspired by the fluidity of water mixed with the natural inhabitants of the sea, every individual PierreJean yacht project indicates a unique and aesthetic reference.
She can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests while modern diesel power and variable-pitch propellers assure a top speed of 26 knots, cruising speed of 20 knots, transoceanic range, and “green” fuel economy. In anticipation of her unusual speed for a yacht of this size, the project was first appropriately named “Swift141.”

Built in 2012, Netherlands
Delivered in 1978 by De Schelde as a navy frigate, Yas was rebuilt in 2013 by Abu Dhabi MAR. Previously known under the project name Swift 141, she was completely modified with new machinery and electronic systems and outfitted with a luxurious interior. It has been suggested that her owner is a member of the Emirati royal family.
She has been designed inside and out by Pierrejean Design Studio of Paris. The unique superstructure of Yas is built in advanced composites and glass and was supposedly inspired by the profile shape of a dolphin. She is reportedly able to accommodate 60 guests and 56 crew, and on-board features include a heli-pad and al fresco dining spaces aft, and a Jacuzzi on her top deck. Her beach club Jacuzzi is complemented by a waterfall feature and a spiral staircase connects her the multiple decks. Powered by twin MTU diesels, Yas has a top speed of 26 knots.

Launched in 2011, mega yacht YAS was built by the Abu Dhabi´s ADM Shipyards, members of Privinvest. She takes inspiration from a former Dutch-built navy frigate´s hull which was launched in 1977. Both interior and exterior of the spectacular YAS superyacht have been superbly designed by French studio Pierrejean Design. Her strikingly graceful exterior features fluid curves and volumes, as well as an excellent structural covering of glass.
ADM Swift 141 megayacht YAS boasts modern interiors, comfortably sleeping a maximum of 60 guests, looked after by a professional crew of 56. She features an automatic stern platform, amazing outdoor pool and spa, a helipad, a highly-sophisticated audio-visual entertainment system, a garage for water toys, as well as door made of carbon-fibre functioning as a boarding or swim platform. The robust 462´ luxury yacht YAS is built to Det Norske Veritas, new UAE Large Yacht Code specifications and MCA standards. She is fitted with various latest technologies, such as advanced radars and cameras, SatCom, long-range underwater Sonar, and FLIR. Dual bow and single stern thrusters permit Dynamic Positioning for vessel´s crew. ADM YAS yacht has a steel hull and a GRP superstructure. She reaches a maximum speed of 26 knots thanks to her modern twin MTU diesel engines, with a cruising speed of 20 knots. Her relatively narrow beam of 15m (49´21´´) lowers the yacht´s resistance through the water and adds grace to her shape. Her draught is of 4.30m (14´11´´).
