The Cruising Yacht Club is a Private Club that offers exceptional facilities to service all types of functions. It is the premiere venue in Rockingham. Situated on the fashionable waterfront on the Rockingham foreshore, feel the sea breeze on your cheek and delight in the beautiful sunsets and sweeping panorama of the Cockburn Sound as you sip champagne from the second storey balcony and enjoy the splendid surrounds. With seating for 140 guests and including a wooden dance floor, the Burgee Room is the ideal venue for your next big event.

Awesome place

with the best location ever.. it is a shame that this club doesn't take advantage of it.. with a bit more input and some advertising.. this could be a fantastic venue for yatchies and locals alike.

Located on the white sandy beaches of Rockingham overlooking Cockburn Sound. The home of the Cockburn Sound Regatta. The Cruising Yacht Club of WA is a great place to visit, a great place to eat, and a great place to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink while watching the magical sunset behind the plethora of yachts on Cockburn Sound. Open for lunch and dinner Wednesday to Saturday 12pm – 8pm, and open for lunch on Sunday 12pm – 3pm. (General public welcome, conditions apply). See our website for all upcoming events. Yacht Club and Social Club on the Rockingham Foreshore with Members Bar and Meals available. Guests must be signed in by Members. Large Sailing Training Program for Children and Adults, as well as a Saturday Racing program. Fantastic Function centre on the foreshore available for Weddings, Celebrations, Birthdays, Business Seminars, Sundowners, Funerals/Wakes and more. (Non Members welcome to book functions.) The Cruising Yacht Club of WA Inc are proud to have their Val Street Clubhouse situated beachside on the Rockingham Foreshore Cafe Strip.

The Club House boasts a comfortable Members Lounge for casual drinks, dining, entertainment and events, and a unique north facing beachside beer garden which is perfect in summer for watching racing, or just watching the world go by.

Originally named the 'Friday Club', The Cruising Yacht Club of WA Inc had it's humble beginnings as a Friday gathering way back in the late 1950s, and the tradition of Friday Club nights has continued ever since.

Friday is the club's busiest regular night of the week, with raffles, free members draw prizes and a la carte menu. It is a great night to visit the club and enjoy the club atmosphere The Cruising Yacht Club of WA Inc is famous for.

Sail & Stay

The Cruising Yacht Club of WA Inc has 40 moorings conveniently located available adjacent to the Val St Jetty.

Overnight mooring hire is just $35 for members of reciprocal interstate clubs and you receive a $15 of voucher each day to spend at the club.
