Así son Matador y Vava II, los barcos en los que navega DiCaprio por Baleares y Cerdeña

El Festival de Cannes terminó el 27 de mayo y, tras echar el cierre, Leonardo DiCaprio aprovechó para iniciar unas vacaciones que todavía continúan. El protagonista de El lobo de Wall Street hizo su primera parada en la isla italiana de Cerdeña, donde se le pudo ver a bordo del Vava II, según Mi Casa , un exclusivo yate de 96,83 metros de eslora ,  valorado en 140 millones de euros  y propiedad del mangate farmacéutico suizo  Ernesto Bertarelli .

El Vava II, un  yate de lujo Devonport P55  de seis cubiertas, tiene capacidad para un increíble número de 36 invitados y cuenta con amplios y lujosos interiores, un helipuerto, lujosos camarotes para invitados, amplios garajes para cuatro embarcaciones auxiliares en popa y en proa, un club de playa abatible y una fantástica piscina de  profundidad variable , todo ello para alojar a sus invitados con estilo, lujo y la máxima comodidad. El superyate Vava II tiene un  casco de acero y una superestructura de aluminio .

Tras pasar unos días en Cerdeña, DiCaprio siguió su ruta hasta las islas pitusas. Allí ha estado este fin de semana, tal y como detalla Diario de Ibiza , disfrutando de unas vacaciones con la joven modelo estadounidense Meghan Roche, de 22 años.  

El protagonista de  Titanic , de 48 años, ha navegado frente a la costa de Ibiza junto a su acompañante en el espectacular yate Matador , una Mangusta de 108 pies (unos 33 metros de eslora). Con la embarcación llegó hasta Formentera para comer en el restaurante Es Molí de Sal, situado en ses Illetes.

Del yate salieron, tanto él como Meghan Roche, para subirse a una lancha del establecimiento, que les fue a buscar y les trasladó a tierra. Ambos, como unos bañistas más, bajaron de la lacha. Él con gorra y mascarilla que ocultaba su rostro  para evitar ser reconocido.

Vacanze in Italia. Su un super yacht dotato di ogni comfort, con camere per gli ospiti, un ampio spazio relax e una cucina degna di quella di un ristorante. Dalla Corsica alla Sardegna, passando per la Toscana. Leonardo DiCaprio non ha saputo resistere al fascino della costa sud, e si è concesso una breve sosta per un pranzo, prima di ripartire e proseguire nella navigazione. 

Ma “Leo” non è solo. Insieme a lui c’è l’amico Tobey Maguire . O almeno, i due erano insieme nel fine settimana del 3-4 agosto, quando hanno fatto tappa in Toscana. In particolare, all’Argentario, perla della costa maremmana. I due sono arrivati a bordo del  Impromptu , lo yacht che DiCaprio affitta regolarmente.

Sono scesi dall’imbarcazione e si sono concessi un pranzo rapido sulla terraferma. In pochissimi sono riusciti a vederli, dato che tutto è stato organizzato per garantire la massima privacy all’attore pluripremiato e stimato in tutto il mondo. Anche lui innamorato della Toscana. Nella prima settimana di agosto DiCaprio è stato visto in vacanza anche assieme alla fidanzata, la 26enne modella bresciana Vittoria Ceretti .

Der US-amerikanische Schauspieler Leonardo DiCaprio stattet Mallorcas Nachbarinseln Ibiza und Formentera einen Besuch ab. Dabei urlaubt der 48-jährige Oscarpreisträger in diesen Tagen auf der spektakulären Superyacht "Matador", einem 33 Meter langen Mangusta-Boot. Seine Begleitung ist dabei das 22-jährigen amerikanische Fashion-Model Meghan Roche .

Der Schauspieler und seine neue Freundin sollen bei ihren Stippvisiten an Land in dem Restaurant "Molí de Sal" in Ses Illetes auf Formentera zu Mittag gegessen haben, das eine breite Pallette an Meeresspezialitäten anbietet. An einem anderen Tag wurde das Paar im Restaurant Cipriani auf Ibiza und in der Diskothek Hï Ibiza gesichtet. Es steht noch nicht fest, ob Leonardo DiCaprio und seine Begleitung auch Kurs auf Mallorca nehmen werden. In der Vergangenheit war der Hollywood-Star mehrfach auf der Balearen-Insel zu Besuch, zuletzt im Jahr 2021.

Leonardo DiCaprio Enjoys Memorial Day Weekend on a Superyacht off Sardinia With Bikini-Clad Pal

Like everyone else, you’ve had one thing on your mind this Memorial Day weekend: where and with whom is Leonardo DiCaprio yachting? Well, we can answer the first part with a degree of clarity, but the second part still remains a little vague.

Following the triumphant debut of his latest film, Killers of the Flower Moon , at the Cannes Film Festival a little over a week ago, the 48-year-old Oscar-winner has remained in the Mediterranean. He was spotted, first by TMZ and later by the Daily Mail , floating around on a superyacht off the coast of Sardinia.

If your geography is rusty, Sardinia is the larger of the two big islands that sit in the Mediterranean between France and Italy. The smaller of the two, Corsica, is to the north. Corsica is a territorial region of France, and Sardinia is an autonomous administrative region of Italy. Indeed, sardines get their name from the island of Sardinia. (I used to think sardines were gross until I visited this part of the world, and then realized that I’d simply never eaten good sardines.) 

As far as who the Titanic and Revenant star was yachting with, alas, we can not give you any names. V.F. has reached out to the star’s representatives, who are well within their right to write back, “the man is on vacation, what is it your business?” We’ll let you know. 

We can say, however, that should you check out the images that the Daily Mail has published, you’ll find that the actor, wearing light blue swimming trunks and, in some shots, a beige baseball cap, is joined by hale and hearty young men, and a young woman in a pink thong bikini. The British news outlet describes her as a “gorgeous brunette beauty flaunt[ing] her jaw-dropping figure." Who are we to argue? 

It is also believed that DiCaprio does not own the yacht. 

If you recall, Leo rang in 2023 by cruising around St. Barts on a yacht with then-23-year-old Victoria Lamas . The man loves boats and, it has been noted once or twice, that he enjoys the company of young women . 

For much of this year, he was linked to Gigi Hadid , but if you vigorously study all the graphs and charts , there is evidence to suggest that they are now back in the friend zone. At Coachella in April, DiCaprio was seen, as per Page Six , “looking cozy” with Irina Shayk , the 37-year-old Russian model who co-parents a child with Bradley Cooper . Leo and Irina are old chums (they hung out together at Cannes in 2015, as per People ). She was, indeed, at Cannes again this year, wearing a remarkably revealing outfit , even by “Russian model at Cannes” standards.

I Salute Leonardo DiCaprio and His Big-Ass Yacht

The man is having the summer vacation of our dreams.

There are two things about Leonardo DiCaprio that I know will always be true: 1/ He’s a man of leisure, and 2/ He's a man of luxury. When DiCaprio not starring in a blockbuster, or dating a young model, the 48-year-old actor can often be found unwinding in a wildly glamorous manner.

This week, he did exactly that, while cruising around the Amalfi coast in his private yacht. DiCaprio invited his dad, stepmom, and niece along for the ride. Some may find that excessive! They might wonder, Why charter a big-ass boat for just four people? Wouldn’t a smaller ship be easier to manage? I think the answer is pretty simple: Because it's fun! And Leonardo DiCaprio has yacht money! I’d do the same. Wouldn’t you?

Page Six obtained pictures from the affair, showing DiCaprio lounging around his floating estate and jumping in the choppy water.. Thankfully, there were no icebergs around to ruin the fun. This feels like a nice moment for the actor to relax after promoting his latest movie, Killers of the Flower Moon , at the Cannes Film Festival. (When I want to relax, I walk around the block and get a Big Gulp from 7/11. But, alas, this isn’t about me, and I doubt Leonardo DiCaprio drinks Big Gulps from 7/11.)

The actor's upcoming movie is based on David Grann’s popular nonfiction book, Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI . DiCaprio stars in the project alongside Robert DeNiro, Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, and Lily Gladstone. The crime drama follows a series of murders that affect the indigenous Osage Nation after oil is found on their land. When more and more people go missing, the FBI swoops in to investigate.

Killers of the Flower Moon will premiere in theaters on October 2. That gives good ol’ Leo at least a few more months to relax before hopping back into movie-star mode. I, for one, can’t wait to see what he does next.

Leonardo at Cannes on board 450ft Megayacht Rising Sun

Yacht aficionado and everyone’s favorite bearded celeb   Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted in  Cannes on one of the World’s Largest Yachts, once again enjoying some rest and relaxation after enjoying the parties and premieres of the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival.

He was joined by Cape Fear actress and singer   Juliette Lewis , who seemed to enjoy the experience so much, she posted a video of her experience on board !

And Leo still does not appear to have rid himself of his beard yet, that he has been sporting for some time!

They were seen sunbathing out on deck with a few friends and it looked they were having a fantastic time!

Leonardo was not surrounded by the usual harem of ladies this time, but there was one tall, mystery blonde on board who he was spotted talking to. Who knows who the lady is or if there is any romantic involvement? Watch this space!

The beautiful yacht they were on is called the Rising Sun , built for Larry Ellison and recently sold to   film producer, music mogul and billionaire David Geffen.

The yacht measures 453ft (138m) long, making it the 6th largest yacht on the planet. It features a helicopter landing pad, large swimming pool, fully loaded gym, spa, elevator and private movie theatre – ideal for an A-list movie star! It was built in Germany by shipbuilders Lurssen and can accommodate up to 16 guests in 8 cabins. It has a full complement of 45 crew members for around the clock service …

Since the yacht is privately owned, and not advertised for charter, Leo and Juliette are no doubt such good buddies of Mr Geffen this vacay was probably free. But just to fill you in, this mega yacht cost a tidy $590 million to build … and to charter a yacht like this would probably be in excess of $3.5 million per week (plus expenses!)

As well as talking shop, Leonardo has also been enjoying the more fun side of the festival, attending various lifestyle events at the festival.

According to industry reports, the Inception star outbid heiress and socialite Paris Hilton on the lot that was a Chanel purse at the Heart Fund’s Generous People Dinner Gala at the InterContinental Carlton Hotel in Cannes.

The bidding war was all very peaceful with Leonardo eventually winning it – and apparently went into the bidding with a view to win it for his mother. It went for over $10,000…

Leonardo DiCaprio Throws Private Party on Superyacht TOPAZ

Superyacht fan and A-List superstar Leonardo DiCaprio was one of a lucky few people in the world allowed to charter the 147m/482 TOPAZ in which he hosted a lavish party on board last month.

As reported on the New York Daily News website, the 80’s-themed party which is thought to have been held in New York in mid-April with around 100 guests welcomed aboard including actor’s Jamie Foxx and Orlando Bloom. 

A crew of more than 80 are said to have been on-hand to serve an undoubtedly impressive spread of fine food, champagne and cocktails whilst the VIP part-goers were entertained into the early hours. ‘Leo wore a velour pantsuit to the ’80s-themed party’, said one insider, adding that DiCaprio hired additional ‘deejays, decor, designers and extra security’ especially for the event.

The 2012-launched superyacht TOPAZ was built by Lürssen to a design by Tim Heywood and is currently ranked 5th amongst the largest superyachts in the world. A spectacular setting for any event, she has very occasionally been made available for rent by her UAE-based Owner to a hand-selected elite few but is not officially available on the global charter fleet.  

DiCaprio is no stranger to superyachts, having shot a number of scenes for ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ on board the 44m/144’ MY LADY M and is regularly seen enjoying time on board charter yachts during prestigious events such as the Cannes Film Festival .

The largest superyacht officially marketed for charter is SERENE , the 133m Italian motor yacht built by Fincantieri, she can accommodate 24 charter guests in her 12 sumptuous staterooms.  Charter rates are from €3,750,000 per week plus expenses.

Leonardo DiCaprio e le vacanze su un superyacht al largo della Sardegna con un’amica in bikini

Come tutti, nel weekend del Memorial Day avevate in mente anche voi soltanto una cosa: dove e con chi sta facendo una crociera su un panfilo Leonardo DiCaprio ? Alla prima parte della domanda possiamo rispondere con una certa chiarezza, ma la seconda rimane ancora un po’ vaga.

Dopo la trionfale prima del suo ultimo film, Killers of the Flower Moon , al Festival di Cannes poco più di una settimana fa, il 48enne premio Oscar è rimasto nel Mediterraneo. È stato infatti avvistato, prima da TMZ e poi dal Daily Mail , a bordo di un superyacht al largo delle coste della Sardegna.

Se la vostra geografia è arrugginita, la Sardegna è la maggiore delle due grandi isole che si trovano nel Mediterraneo tra l’Italia e la Francia. La più piccola delle due, la Corsica, si trova a nord. La Corsica è una collettività territoriale francese, mentre la Sardegna è una regione italiana a statuto speciale. In effetti, è dalla Sardegna che prendono il nome le sardine (pensavo che le sardine fossero disgustose finché non ho visitato questa parte del mondo e ho semplicemente capito che non ne avevo mai mangiate di buone).

Per quanto riguarda le persone con cui la star di Titanic e Revenant andava in yacht, ahimè, non possiamo fornire alcun nome. V.F. ha contattato i suoi rappresentanti, che hanno tutto il diritto di rispondere: «Il capo è in vacanza, cosa ve ne frega?». Vi faremo sapere.

Possiamo dire, tuttavia, che se guardate le foto pubblicate dal Daily Mail , scoprirete che l’attore (che indossa un costume da bagno azzurro e, in alcuni scatti, un cappellino da baseball beige) è in compagnia di gagliardi giovanotti e una giovane donna in bikini con tanga rosa. L’agenzia di stampa britannica la descrive come una «splendida bellezza bruna che sfoggia un fisico da togliere il fiato». Chi siamo noi per dissentire?

Si ritiene inoltre che DiCaprio non sia il proprietario dello yacht.

Se ricordate, Leo ha festeggiato l’inizio del 2023 facendo una crociera su un panfilo a Saint Barts, nelle Antille, con l’allora 23enne Victoria Lamas . L’uomo ama le barche e (com’è stato notato un paio di volte) non disdegna la compagnia di giovani donne.

Per gran parte dell’anno, Leo è stato legato a Gigi Hadid , ma se si studiano con attenzione tutti i grafici e i diagrammi, c’è motivo di supporre che i due siano tornati amici. Leonardo DiCaprio was up to his old tricks as he relaxed on a mega-yacht with a young model in Ibiza, Spain, on Sunday.

The “Titanic” star, 48, was photographed cruising the Mediterranean Sea with 22-year-old Meghan Roche as well as a flock of friends.

But a source tells Page Six exclusively that DiCaprio and Roche are not romantically involved and that the fashionista is actually dating the actor’s pal, who was also present for the group’s day on the water.

Roche, dressed in an electric blue one-piece bathing suit layered under a matching shirt and pants set, was seen showing PDA with her unidentified man throughout their yacht excursion.

Meanwhile, a shirtless DiCaprio was spotted getting his tan on in just a pair of swim trunks as he enjoyed the stunning views of the horizon.

The Oscar winner wore a baseball hat and sunglasses as he and his crew sat in a dingy that transported them to the massive floater dubbed Matador.

DiCaprio has been traipsing around Europe for weeks now.

Last Tuesday, he was spotted grabbing dinner at London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse with his mom, Irmelin Indenbirken, and 28-year-old model Neelam Gill.

Days prior, he was seen busting out his dad-like dance moves while  attending the ritzy wedding  of billionaire art-world heir Joe Nahmad and model Madison Headrick in Sardinia, Italy.

While DiCaprio clearly plays hard, he also works hard. The Hollywood star attended the Cannes Film Festival last month, where his Martin Scorsese-directed movie “Killers of the Flower Moon” received high praise upon its premiere.

He celebrated the film’s success at a historic local chateau last week with his castmates. And while in town, he also attended Graydon Carter’s star-studded Air Mail fête with Scorsese.

Rumors have been swirling that DiCaprio is dating Gigi Hadid since September 2022 .

Just last month, he and Hadid, 28, were seen leaving Cipriani Downtown in Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood, and in March they both attended the same Oscars party .

A source told Page Six exclusively in December that Hadid  wasn’t taking things seriously with DiCaprio  and that she was prioritizing her daughter, Khai, whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio has also been linked to models Victoria Lamas , 24, Eden Polani , 19, and Bradley Cooper’s 37-year-old ex  Irina Shayk.

He previously dated “Daisy Jones & The Six” star Camila Morrone, 25, for four years, but they broke up in August 2022.

DiCaprio’s love of models is as ever-present as his love of yachts. Among many of his boating adventures, he memorably partied on a $150 million yacht at Art Basel Miami last year, and last summer he yachted in St. Tropez with a group of pals.

Tous deux travaillent, par le biais de leurs fondations, avec le gouvernement brésilien pour le défi Protecting Our Planet , un ensemble de fonds privés pour la conservation de la biodiversité. L'objectif ? Récolter 200 millions de dollars pour préserver les territoires autochtones et atteindre l'objectif « zéro déforestation » en accompagnant le Brésil sur la voie d'un modèle économique plus respectueux de son éco-système. Les ministères brésiliens de l'Environnement et des Peuples autochtones sont engagés dans cette démarche.

Tous deux sont connus pour leurs engagements écologistes. Leonardo DiCaprio s'est mobilisé à de nombreuses reprises à travers l'organisation Re:wild, qu'il a co-fondée il y a deux ans. Son credo ? Le « ré-ensauvagement » : « Nous avons un objectif singulier et puissant : la nature comme solution la plus efficace aux crises interconnectées du climat, de la biodiversité et du bien-être humain », peut-on lire sur le site de Re:wild. En 2021 notamment, l'acteur avait uni ses forces à celles de Djimon Hounsou, Forest Whitaker et du prince Harry pour exiger la suspension des forages dans le delta de l'Okavango, fleuve situé entre l'Angola, la Namibi et le Botswana dont dépendent près d'un million d'habitants et de nombreuses espèces animales. Re:wild se vante d'avoir protégé « plus de 72 millions d'hectares au profit de plus de 16 000 espèces » dans le monde.

Seulement, au quotidien, l'acteur est loin d'être un modèle de conscience écologique. Jets privés, yachts, allers-retours express… Leonardo DiCaprio a régulièrement été critiqué pour son manque de rigueur en la matière. Peut-on, alors, lui reprocher de mener le train de vie de toute star de son époque, en continuant de marteler un message écologiste ? La question qui le concerne cristallise tout le débat autour de l'engagement aujourd'hui : faut-il être exemplaire pour être crédible lorsqu'on défend une cause ? Est-ce possible et dans quelle mesure ? Être engagé veut-il dire être irréprochable ? Vous avez six heures. Jeff Bezos ou l'engagement à géométrie variable

Qu'en est-il de son confrère Jeff Bezos ? Les derniers chiffres mesurant l'empreinte carbone de l'empire qui a fait sa renommée, Amazon , remontent à 2021 : 71,54 millions de tonnes de CO2 émis, une augmentation de 18% depuis 2019 et l'équivalent de la pollution émise par 180 centrales électriques, selon The Verge . Ces dernières années, il s'est illustré pour des frasques peu écolo-compatibles : 10 minutes de voyage privé dans l'espace (générant pour chaque voyageur 75 tonnes de CO 2 ), des yachts à foison, un récent tour d' Europe à bord d'un super-yacht particulièrement volumineux, le Koru. Valeur estimée ? 500 millions de dollars. Cinq ans de construction, 127 mètres de la proue à la poupe (et une proue à l'effigie de sa fiancée, Lauren Sánchez). Malgré ses travers, lui aussi met la main au portefeuille : le Bezos Earth Fund a été lancé en 2020 avec un fonds de 10 milliards de dollars de sa poche. À noter que sa conscience écologique est arrivée sur le tard (plus de 20 ans après celle de Leonardo DiCaprio, à en croire la date de création de la fondation qui porte le nom de l'acteur, en 1998).

En décembre 2021, le Bezos Earth Fund a fait don de 433 millions de dollars à des organisations de lutte contre le changement climatique. Le milliardaire a très vite établi un parallèle entre ses activités de philanthrope et et son nouvel engagement écologique : « Les problèmes auxquels nous sommes confrontés exigent que toutes les mains soient sur le pont, peut-on lire sur le site de l'organisme. La philanthropie a un rôle crucial à jouer en fournissant des fonds flexibles efficaces et une capacité de prise de risque, et en apportant une expertise indépendante à la conception des solutions […]. » Jeff Bezos semble avoir trouvé un nouvel allié de choix (et de portefeuille) en la personne de Leonardo DiCaprio.

Leonardo DiCaprio helps save man who fell overboard in the Caribbean

Leonardo DiCaprio got to play a real-life hero to a man who fell off a yacht in the Caribbean and had to tread water for hours. The Oscar-winning actor, his girlfriend and their friends were on a luxury vessel last week when an emergency call went out asking for help looking for the man, Britain's The Sun newspaper reported .

The vessel carrying DiCaprio and his crew was near the island of St. Bart's, and the man fell overboard near the neighboring island of St. Martin, according to the Sun. "The captain of his ship sent out a panicked emergency message and Leonardo and his team agreed to look for the poor guy," a source told the newspaper.

The man was found near Saba island, south of St. Martin, the Sun reported. He was severely dehydrated and had been treading water for 11 hours, the source told the newspaper.

"I should have died," the man reportedly said after he was rescued. The luxury vessel's crew gave him food and dry clothes before handing him off to authorities.

Over the weekend, DiCaprio attended the Golden Globe Awards , where he was nominated for best actor in a musical or comedy film for his performance in "Once Upon a Time...in Hollywood." Taron Egerton won the award for his portrayal of Elton John in "Rocketman."
