Get off to a good start every day on board. - Hot drinks and pastries are served from 6:30 to 10:30 for early risers and late risers. - Enjoy your breakfast in the cabin with room service , in the restaurant or outside if weather permits - Enjoy pastries cooked on board, bread made daily by our French baker, home-made cakes and muffins, pancakes, waffles, eggs, cheeses and cold cuts, detox juices, and more.
Departure alert for excursions or trips
Because we want your activities to go smoothly, your cruise director alerts you before departure for any excursions you have booked if you are on a Yachting cruise, or for Zodiac® trips, if you have opted for an Expedition cruise .
On board, enjoy our varied buffet . Among the wide choice of salads, vegetables, meat and fish, desserts and pastries, choose a starter, a main dish and a dessert that have been specially cooked for you based on the theme of the day (Corsica, Mediterranean, Asian, barbecue, Italian, etc.) A restaurant on land is booked for day trips.
Want to stay on board to enjoy a moment of relaxation ? - Attend a talk given by one of our prestigious guests of honour . - Book a massage or treatment at the spa . - Relax by the pool or in the library, keep fit in the gym or enjoy some quiet time by selecting the cruise photos taken by the teams from the PONANT Studio on the l’Application or on the computers.

Your afternoon continues with the terrestrial trips that you have booked to complement your Yachting cruise . On Expedition cruises, enjoy guided trips by our naturalist-guides and discover new lands.

- Around 4 p.m., after having enjoyed a few sweet treats with cold or hot drinks accompanied by music in the Grand salon , it's time to get ready for dinner. Our Hairdresser Advisors will offer you personalised services in the Hairdressing Salon . - Enjoy the peace and quiet of your cabin to watch one of the 60 movies available in multiple languages on your TV, to book a tour through the app or to immerse yourself in a book on your private balcony . - Browse in the shop or stroll through the ship's various social spaces, in the observatory lounge (on the PONANT EXPLORERS and Le Ponant), the panoramic lounge (on the Sisterships) or the Blue Eye on the PONANT EXPLORERS, with a glass of champagne or a delicious cocktail in your hand.
A gourmet dinner
Your late afternoon continues in front of a beautiful sunset to the sound of beautiful melodies played on the piano, with an aperitif. Every day, discover a new cocktail recipe. Dinner follows, cooked by our chefs in keeping with the tradition of grand French fine dining .
An evening of entertainment
Your evening follows on with entertainment in the Grand Salon or the Theatre. Enjoy an evening dancing, a classical concert, a show performed by our professional dancers or a film projection on the big screen.

Towards the rear of deck 4 you'll find a panoramic restaurant large enough to accommodate all our passengers at one sitting. Offering a different concept than on our other ships, this space is open to the exterior and serves buffets of salads, desserts and cheeses. Our discreet and attentive staff provide a table service for hot meals.

Accommodation
Featuring innovative and environmentally-friendly equipment, elegantly designed cabins, spacious suites with large windows, and lounge areas that open onto the outside, this new limited-capacity yacht boasting just 92 cabins and suites will offer you a truly unique cruising experience.
Food & Drink
As it is an essential part of French culture, gastronomy will naturally have pride of place aboard this new ship. Through its two restaurants, Le Bourgainville will invite you on a journey to elegance and epicureanism.
In a relaxed atmosphere, a first dining area located on Deck 3 and able to seat 70 will serve grilled meats daily, along with a variety of salads and desserts.
To the back of Deck 4, you will find a 260 m² panoramic restaurant which can accommodate all of our passengers in a single sitting. Designed differently to that on our other ships, this dining area, which opens onto the outside, will have a buffet of salads, desserts and cheeses at your disposal. Our discreet and attentive crew will provide table service for hot meals.
Life on Board
Like Le Boréal and its sisterships, Le Bougainville has many common areas that are designed and equipped to meet all of your needs while preserving the intimacy of each passenger.
A 140 m² reception area includes:
- A reception/concierge desk,
- An excursions desk,
- The ship’s administrative services,
- The sales office, manned by our Guest Relations Officer,
- Our 50 m² boutique which sells clothing, jewellery, beauty products, postcards and various accessories,
- Toilets accessible to passengers with reduced mobility.

With her sophisticated styling, innovative "green" technology, and welcoming, attentive service, Le Bougainville is one of Ponant's new Explorer Series yachts, introducing guests to a whole new cruising experience, embodying the unique atmosphere guests have come to expect – a subtle blend of refinement, intimacy and comfort.
Le Bougainville sports six passenger decks that include the elegant, panoramic main dining room serving French and international cuisine on Deck 4; the casual restaurant serving grilled specialties, salads and desserts on Deck 3; a main lounge offering a bar with evening entertainment, and a 188-seat theatre hosting informative lectures and entertainment and featuring the latest sound and lighting technology, both on Deck 3; a panoramic lounge forward on Deck 6; a spa and fitness center on the top deck (Deck 7); and multiple observation areas. Elevators serve all passenger decks. Staterooms (ranging in size from 204 to 296 sq. ft.) and suites (ranging in size from 296 to 484 sq. ft.) have ocean views; 95% have private balconies. Staterooms are decorated by French designers, offering individually controlled air conditioning, twin beds converting to a queen-size bed (or one queen-size bed), DVD / CD player, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, electronic safe and minibar.
Blue Eye Lounge

Exclusive to our Explorer Series small ships, The Blue Eye Lounge is the world's first multi-sensory, underwater lounge. The space's graphical references evoke cetaceans and jellyfish – evident in the lines of the lounge, the positioning of the body, the furniture and the fittings. All focus is drawn towards the two eye-shaped portholes, looking out upon the subaquatic world. The lighting allows the gaze to dive into the spectacle unfolding outside... and on the integrated digital screens projecting images captured live by three underwater cameras placed at the ship's strategic points... enabling guests to witness, for example, the spectacle of dolphins playing in the bow waves.

A built-in hydraulic platform with adjustable heights that allow for easy access to the sea for swimming, water sports and embarkation/disembarkation for on shore excursions.
Staterooms (204 to 296 sq. ft.) & Suites (296 to 484 sq. ft.) have ocean views and most have private balconies. Decorated by French designers, staterooms offer individually controlled air conditioning and two twin beds that convert to a queen-size bed and come equipped with video on demand, flat-screen TV with satellite channels, electronic safe, hair dryer, iPod Dock and minibar.
