Where do florida water tours depart.

The tours depart from the Camachee Cove Marina located at 107 Yacht Club Dr. #Dock A-19 St. Augustine FL 32084. Dock A-19 is to the left of the restaurant King Fish Grill. Just before you get to the restaurant you will enter the dock to the left. Then, walk down to the floating dock and head right, where you will see the boat.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Allow yourself enough time to park, walk down to the boat, and get checked in. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to departure.

Where do I park?

As you pull into Camachee Cove, take the very first right immediately after the entrance and park facing the road, A1A, across from our retail shop. To avoid a towing expense, please do not park in the store/business parking spaces. You will then walk through the parking lot towards King Fish Grill. Just before you get to the restaurant you will enter the dock to your left, then go right, and you will see the boat!

Can the boat accommodate a wheelchair?

The boat is not wheelchair accessible. However, if you use a wheelchair but can walk onto or have assistance onto the boat (2 steps up), your wheelchair can be taken on board.

Is the boat shaded?

What should i bring on the tour.

For daytime cruises you may bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, bottled water, and snacks. For our cooler evening cruises, depending on the time of year, you might want to have a lightweight jacket or sweater. For the Nights of Lights cruises, bundle up!

Are children allowed on the tours?

Children over the age of 3 are welcome onboard. All passengers on the adults-only cruises must be 21+ with a valid photo ID. Children are welcome on the 6:00 pm Night of Lights Tours; however, the 7:45 pm and 9:30 pm cruises are for adults 18+.

Can we swim with the dolphins?

Can we feed the dolphins.

No. This is strictly prohibited.

Is there a bathroom onboard?

What happens in the case of rain or inclement weather.

Weather in Florida for the most part is beautiful and sunny, but can be unpredictable at times. If there is a small craft advisory or lightning, the tour will be cancelled and you will be contacted for rescheduling to a later date or for a full refund.

For boating excursions that are sure to entertain, Florida Water Tours offers a variety of tours on St. Augustine's beautiful waterways.

Tours are available daily. You can enjoy time on the water and learn more about St. Augustine on several guided boat tours, such as the Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure, Sunset Cruise, and Wine Tasting Cruise. In addition, Florida Water Tours offers private tours for larger groups and private events. Florida Water Tours is located at Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor , a short distance from St. Augustine's historic district, and offers free parking.

Jimmy Buffett Day on August 30, 2024

Florida Water Tours hosts a special sunset cruise to celebrate the inaugural Jimmy Buffett Day in Florida. Those aged 21 and over can purchase a ticket for this special cruise aboard the Osprey . Jimmy's best songs will play from the stereo, and guests are invited to don parrot-head attire, grass skirts, and loud shirts. The crew will offer party snacks, and there will be a cash bar. Come dance in the sunset, learn about about the St. Augustine waters, and sing along to your favorite Jimmy Buffett tunes.The tour sets off at 6:30 p.m. and returns at 8:30 p.m.

• The Osprey is a 45-foot pontoon boat that is certified for 38 passengers. A restroom is available on board and most of the boat is fully enclosed and shaded. There is also a bar on board where guests may purchase mimosas, beer, wine, and canned cocktails.
• The Island Breeze is a 30-foot pontoon boat, certified for 24 passengers. It's fully enclosed and has a restroom on board. Guests may bring their chosen beverages onto the boat.
• The Salty Dreams is a 42-foot motor yacht, available for private charters of up to six passengers.

Dolphin and Wildlife Adventure cruises are available daily for guests of all ages. These 90-minute tours explore St. Augustine's natural and historic beauty while the boat's crew and passengers scan the water's surface for signs of dolphins.

Florida Water Tours also offers daily Sunset Cruises aboard each boat. Sunset cruises on the Osprey are limited to those aged 21 or older. Sunset cruises on the Island Breeze are family-friendly and suitable for all ages.

Florida Water Tours offers Full Moon Tours each month on the three nights surrounding the full moon. Guests aged 21 or older may purchase beer or wine, and all may enjoy watching the full moon rise over the lighthouse while learning a bit of St. Augustine's history. The Wine Tasting Cruise offers guests an evening on the water for a special 90-minute wine tasting. While passing along St. Augustine's historic bayfront, guests can take in the views and enjoy a presentation of six wines, including local ones. In addition to the wine samples, each guest receives a personal charcuterie cone and can enjoy the view, chatting with friends, and listening to the lively narration featuring history and wildlife. During the summer, Florida Water Tours offers an adults-only Brunch and Bottlenose tour on select Sundays. This two-hour cruise includes a free mimosa and a brunch box for each guest made from locally sourced ingredients. Guests may purchase additional beverages from the onboard bar which offers beer, wine, sangria, and canned cocktails. St. Augustine's Nights of Lights festival is a magnificent sight from land, but it's even more spectacular and romantic from the water. What to Expect

With an entertaining crew, beaming wildlife, fantastic views and a bar on board for those 21 and older, what is not to love about this popular boat tour?

The Intracoastal (ICW) or Tolomato/Matanzas River here in St. Augustine is home to a plethora of wildlife, including birds, dolphins, manatees, turtles, and much more. The dolphins that we see here year-round call this bay their home. We regularly witness all types of behaviors like playing, hunting, breeding, and caring for their young!

This tour is considered a wildlife watch, where we take you on a guided adventure through the ICW to the best areas to view the most amazing wildlife. Our professional guides are marine naturalists and make this a really fun and enjoyable experience for young kids and adults while you learn about the natural beauty these Florida waters have to offer.

Although this is a wildlife tour, we do have a lot of history and famous landmarks here in St. Augustine! Sometimes the dolphins and other wildlife bring us to the bayfront, where we can view the historic landmarks from the water, but this is not the main part of this tour. We have other tours throughout the day that focus on the history but still allow you to see wildlife in the water! Check out our Wine Tasting Cruise or the Sunset Cruise if that is more your style.
