Description.

This is one of the latest launches of the multi-award-winning and bestselling 80 Sunreef Power model. Custom-equipped for extended voyages, this luxury catamaran represents flawless marine architecture and superyacht comfort. Topped with a large composite bimini, the power catamaran’s flybridge is vast, perfect to enjoy the company of friends and family. In the aft part of the flybridge, she features a custom-finished jacuzzi with a bar counter and dedicated waterfall. There is also a large barbecue and comfortable settees to savor drinks and dinners with ocean views.

80 Sunreef Power’s full-beam aft cockpit welcomes guests with a large dining table for ten. Beneath the sofa, the catamaran’s invisible aft garage conceals a three seater jet ski with a refueling station along with a collection of water toys. Engineered by Sunreef Yachts, the jet ski launching system is easy and fun to use.

Split between a large dining space to starboard and a cozy lounging area to the portside the light-filled main saloon features an eye-catching backlit bar as well as a big galley equipped for 5-star service. The 80ft yacht’s five-cabin layout is smart and comfortable with plenty of space to relax, voluminous storage, and amazing ensuite bathrooms. The interior décor combines marine tones and natural fabrics for a classic, yet modern feel. The bow terrace of the catamaran is accessed directly from the main saloon. It features a large sunken lounging area with big settees and oversized sun pads for long sunning seasons.

One of the most spectacular features on board the 80 Sunreef Power is the master suite which can be set up in the bow section of the main deck with a double bed facing the terrace, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, dressing and desk.

80 Sunreef Power is a universal multihull yacht for long cruises in ultimate comfort. Taking luxury and seaworthiness to a new dimension, this dynamic and elegant craft enters the Sunreef Yachts range, redefining the authentic power catamaran design. Celebrating their 15 th year in existence, the Sunreef Yacht yard has unveiled one of their flagship to celebrate their 100 th megayacht launched: The new Sunreef 80 luxury catamaran. She is the larger sister ship to the Sunreef 50’ and Sunreef 60’ catamarans

From the most experienced super catamaran builder in the world – the Sunreef 80′ catamaran will be considered a super-yacht on all levels. Aggressive and contemporary styling as well as superb build quality will make this deluxe catamaran a viable choice for sailors who are looking for a luxurious go-anywhere cruising yacht.

The Sunreef 80′ catamaran will be large and high enough to safely allow for a forward cockpit and she will feature a huge fly bridge for helming and socializing. As all Sunreef yachts she is built on a semi-custom basis in an epoxy infusion carbon process. On the main deck, there will be a wet bar, lounge and spacious saloon with perfect 360 degree views. Her hulls provide light entering from the trademark windows. The Sunreef 80’ catamaran is the first of a new series which soon will be followed by a Sunreef 50, 60 and 70 of a similar design DNA.

The Sunreef 80 Sail is one of the most popular model ever launched by the Polish shipyard. The yachts feature a large uncluttered main salon on the main deck, with options to have the galley located in one of the two hulls, ideally located forward of the crew quarters. The Sunreef 80 is a versatile sailing yacht that is excellent for special getaways, charters, and transoceanic excursions. This model features outdoor and internal spaces that flow seamlessly into one another. The innovative bridge deck and superstructure design allows for a greater level of comfort onboard, while the abundant use of teak, high bulwarks, and elegant lines give her a modern appearance with a traditional edge.

With an entirely new superstructure design, the Sunreef 80 has a saloon layout with exceptional customizing flexibility. It is a large, central lounging area with a panoramic view and limitless layout options that extends to both the bow terrace and cockpit.

The bow features a comfortable couch that is well protected from the sun and wind. Aft, the saloon joins with the cockpit, which is enlarged by a huge aft platform. The combination of these sectors creates a global, unrestricted atmosphere where flexibility and freedom prevail.

In addition to housing the main helm, the 54m2 flybridge is dedicated to leisure with ample space for movable furnishings, a Jacuzzi, fully-equipped wet bar, and big sunpads.

The hulls provide ample space for an unique layout that includes airy, sumptuous guest cabins and an exquisite master suite with a walk-in closet, workstation, sofa, retractable television, and an enormous bathroom. The ideal place to unwind and unwind after a long day in the sun.

The first Sunreef 80 launched, the 7X Split, is easily spotted from afar thanks to her graphite-colored hull that is striking in appearance. She sports a spacious 4-cabin layout, including a spectacular master stateroom, occupying most of the starboard hull along with the guest cabin. With a deliberately dim color scheme, the master suite features a massive bed, a desk, a sofa, and a dressing room hidden behind a custom-designed decorative partition. The salon is tremendous, offering stunning views, incredible space rarely ever seen on a yacht of this length, and the finest contemporary decor.

Thanks to Sunreef Yachts’ proprietary solar power system, the Sunreef 80 Eco can generate up to 32kWp. Covering a total area of 164m² solar panels can be integrated with various composite structures of the yacht including the mast, boom, superstructure and hull sides. Boat Description

The 80 Sunreef Power Eco is the avant-garde of eco-responsible motor-yachts. Powered by 4 electric motors with up to 720 KW of power with a top speed of 15kts.  Power can be provided by up to 1 Megawatt of proprietary chemistry battery bank that charges quickly in a couple hours and has a lifespan of 15 years.  Power is provided by the solar skin, shore power or generator as needed.   On anchor without any charging source all the house systems can operate silently for up to 4.5 days. 

This is fully-customizable luxury catamaran can be configured for personal or charter layouts, and galley up or down.   It utalizes the latest innovations in the industry to achieve outstanding energy efficiency. Thanks to Sunreef Yachts’ light and ultramodern solar power system producing up to 34 KW of power per day light hour, the 80 Sunreef Power maximizes solar energy generation capacity.

The electric catamaran is fitted with a state of the art, ultralight battery bank (30% lighter than the average batteries used in the nautical industry) with a density of less than 5.2kg / kWh for increased weight-efficiency and performance.

The fully-electric 80 Sunreef Power provides for silent cruising and long range with electric motors powered from the dedicated battery bank. 

Green features on board include a high voltage DC-powered air conditioning system, a water-making and purifying system to generate drinking water, a non-toxic bottom paint. A fully customizable luxury craft, the 80 Sunreef Power electric catamaran offers infinite décor possibilities and access to a broad selection of ethically-sourced and eco-responsible finishing materials.

Back in April, Storm Kathleen slammed into the west coast of Ireland as a fearsome Force 10 gale, packing 70 mph winds and 15-foot waves. While locals sandbagged their homes and prepared for the worst, Frank Kowalski decided it was a swell day for a boat ride.

Evolved from Safehaven’s 75-foot XVS20 monohull launched in 2018, Kowalski used his expertise in building commercial, work-boat power catamarans to design the twin-hulled T-2000 Voyager to offer speed with stability.

“The stability in beam seas is what’s key here,” he says. “While we were out recently in a Force 8 with 40-plus knot winds and 12-foot seas, we were able to stop and leave the boat to drift while we retrieved a drone. It just took the waves on the beam with ease. In a monohull, it would have been rolling so badly you couldn’t have stood on the deck.”

Then there’s the sheer velocity that comes with twin, scalpel-thin hulls slicing through waves. With the T-2000’s pair of 1,550 hp MAN V12 diesels driving France Helices SD5 surface drives, the Safehaven can hit a top speed of 57 mph. 

“It’s just the most amazing sight, standing on the stern, watching these huge roostertails behind,” Kowalski adds. “We’ve also incorporated retracting swim platforms so you can see the props spinning on the surface, plus valved exhausts that switch between silenced and straight-through. The noise from those V12s is sensational.”

His hull No. 1 demonstrator boat has all-diamond-quilted marine leather, well-finished cabinetry, colored LED lighting, and below-deck accommodations for six in three cabins. Hull No. 2—already sold and due for completion in the next 18 months—will up the luxury factor.

“It’s going to a client in the Middle East who plans to use it for just himself and his wife,” says Kowalski. The client has specified a full-width owner’s suite with a central, king-size bed and oversized his-and-hers bathrooms and closets in each hull. “He also wants to go fast— very fast,” Kowalski continues. “So we’ll install twin 2,000 hp MAN V12s, again with surface drives, and a central hydrofoil to reduce drag. The plan is for it to hit a top speed in excess of 69 mph.”

The new T-2000 is also designed to go the distance. With the 2,900-gallon tanks, it has a range of more than 1,000 nautical miles at 34.5 mph, and 1,700 nautical miles at 18 mph. Throttle back to 12 mph and range increases to 3,000-plus nautical miles.

Much of this is down to the yacht’s symmetrical, semi-wave-piercing hulls, made of a carbon-fiber-composite construction, with inverted lower bow sections and a double-chine arrangement that projects spray clear of the boat. The hydrofoil in mid position also means that, at speed in calmish seas, the T-2000 rides with half its hull length out of the water.

To eliminate waves slamming into the bridge deck windshield, Kowalski moved the pilothouse farther back. It also makes for a sleeker profile, giving the T-2000 the look of a single-hull sportsyacht.

The entire helm area gets flooded with light courtesy of the four-panel, angled windshield and quartet of fixed skylights above. To see the boat’s hydrofoil in action, the bridge has a glass panel in the floor that’s also designed for viewing marine life below at night. Most of the windows have half-inch-thick toughened panels to shrug off cascading water. 

In finer weather than typically found on coastal Ireland, the T-2000 has a small flybridge with a helm station and sun-lounge area up top, plus a covered stern cockpit with sofas and table for alfresco dining.

This storm-tested, metallic-red demonstrator is available for around $3.35 million.
