The Most Astonishing Features Of David Beckham's Luxury Superyacht Charter

Celebrity couple, David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly spending their summer days cruising the Mediterranean on a €1.6 million chartered yacht called the Madsummer, according to the Daily Mail . They are joined by their children and some friends who are vacationing aboard. However, their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz were not present during the family holiday.

Since they have been onboard, the upscale yacht has been a hotspot for celebrity sightings. Famous friends like Gigi Hadid have been spotted boarding the luxurious yacht. According to Vogue , the supermodel is a close friend of Brooklyn's wife, Nicola who he married in April of this year.

The couple has shared photos of their sea-loving summer adventures on board the vessel with their fans on social media. Since their vacation began, they have been pictured doing everything from riding jet skis to collecting sea urchins in Croatia, to lounging on Madsummer's deck.

This yacht is for summer cruising

International yacht design company, Harrison Eidsgaard designed the Madsummer's sleek exterior while Laura Sessa Romboli designed the ship's nautical-themed interior. It is available for private charters throughout the year, mainly in the Mediterranean during the summer and the Caribbean in winter.

This 311-foot maritime wonder has plenty of room all over the ship. The Daily Mail reports that the ship features indoor and outdoor dining areas along with a beach club and private dancefloor for the Beckhams and their friends to party the night away. There is also space for sunbathing or doing workouts outside on its multiple decks. While on vacation, David cheekily posted a video to Instagram of his wife squeezing in a lunge workout around the superyacht as he drank his morning coffee.

Its sumptuous interior consists of ten suites and can accommodate up to 12 guests and 28 crew members, according to Moran Yacht and Ship . There is a huge 12-meter swimming pool on the main deck plus diving facilities on board. It also features an enormous spa, just in case anyone needs some downtime while cruising the high seas. And if the Beckham family needs to make a quick getaway, there is a large helipad on board for a helicopter to land on and swoop them away if they need to.

David Beckham and his family continue to enjoy their summer vacations on board a luxury boat in which they are sailing the Mediterranean in search of the best beaches. In a matter of a few days they have travelled from Croatia to Italy’s Amalfi Coast and Saint-Tropez , this being one of the final stops.

A luxurious yacht that goes by the name of ‘ Madsummer’ and that was built in 2019 has the capacity for 12 people . It’s clearly a comfortable method for Family Beckham to spend some of their break together and they have shared some of their fun via their social media accounts, with snapshots that include images of the spacious boat and their locations.

There is no doubt that a yacht like the Madsummer is not suitable for all budgets, and it is that according to the Superyacht fan portal, it has an estimated value of US$229 million , making it one of the most luxurious and exclusive. It’s a boat with all kinds of details, including a cinema room, a children’s play area, a sauna, a spa, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a multi-purpose gym .

And not all areas are on the same level, with the yacht offering an elevator to take its occupants to and from their chosen activity, while Wi-Fi connectivity and air conditioning go without saying . But, given the sunny locations being visited, activities are also encouraged outside, with the boat offering flyboards , jet skis , wakeboards , as well as a diving and fishing set. We’re still trying to identify if there is a library for educational book reading.

A rental of $1.6 million per week

This yacht is not Beckham’s property, but instead is rented in the summer season at around $1,600,000 per week, an outlay that the former Manchester United, Real Madrid, PSG and AC Milan player is said to have made to enjoy a few days of disconnection from a busy life with his family.

During this trip, the family was seen with one of their good friends, Sarah Ferguson , the former-wife of Prince Andrew, with whom they spent a day in Amalfi, in southwestern Italy.

Power couple David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly summering along the French Riviera , Amalfi Coast, Corsica, and Sardinia on a yacht dubbed Madsummer , according to the Daily Mail . The 95-meter vessel is available for private charter at the handsome price of roughly $1.926 million (£1.6 million) per week, touring the Mediterranean in the summer and the Caribbean and Bahamas in the winter. If they are indeed aboard, the Beckhams and their family have access to luxurious amenities that include a 12-meter swimming pool, spa, diving facilities, and a helipad.

Constructed in 2019 and designed specifically for private charters, the superyacht was built by Lurssen, a German family-run shipyard founded in 1875 and currently in its fourth generation. Madsummer can accommodate up to 12 guests in 10 guest cabins and a crew of up to 30, according to Moran Yacht and Ship , the company that manages the vessel. It has a steel hull and is capable of a speed of 18.5 knots.

The yacht’s exterior was designed by Harrison Eidsgaard, a London-based superyacht and aircraft design studio. The contemporary interiors were designed by Laura Sessa, who said in an interview with Superyacht Times that she is “​​often identified for [her] love of colors.” That is certainly clear from images of the structure’s interior, which benefit from bold swaths of bright color. Blues and reds are used most frequently, lending a classic maritime theme to the ship’s overall aesthetic. Attractive toffee-hued woods and textiles balance the intensity. Modern furniture is used throughout, often employing a pleasingly curvy silhouette. Every area provides a seemingly endless array of eye-catching details, and some practical hidden ones as well. “In my designs, I always like to incorporate special custom details in the mechanisms, knobs, and handles… I keep some things secret,” Sessa told Superyacht Times while pointing out hidden storage in a Madsummer hallway.

The luxury 311ft vessel is currently travelling on the French Riviera with David, Victoria and their family onboard.

The Beckhams have been pictured enjoying jet skis, with flyboards, waterskis, fishing equipment and even scuba diving equipment also available.

Hot spots during the summer include Amalfi Coast, Corsica, French Riviera, Sardinia - all places that the Beckhams have enjoyed during their family getaway. 

David and Victoria invited their close family, including their son Cruz, 17, and daughter Harper, 11, and friends to soak-up the sun with them.

They welcomed Cruz's new girlfriend Tana Holding on their trip with the pair looking loved-up during the getaway.

After being spotted together last month, Cruz is said to be 'smitten' with Tana, who keeps a low profile out of the public eye.

A source told The Sun : 'They make a really lovely couple and she is down-to-earth and really fun. She is not fazed by Cruz's fame and where he comes from.

'It is early days but Cruz seems smitten with Tana.'

It comes after Cruz, recently split from his ex-girlfriend Bliss Chapman. The couple were in a relationship for 18 months but reportedly decided to go their separate ways in March.

IF YOU HAVEN’T reached peak Euro summer jealously levels just yet — the Beckham’s holiday will surely tip you over the edge.

Much like all our friends and “followers” on social media (might be good time to mute them), the celebs have also been soaking up the Saint Tropez sun — or practically any affluent coastal area.

Naturally, their preferred choice of accommodation/travel includes a lavish super yacht — with this year’s most glam award going to the Beckhams.

The 311ft ‘Madsummer’ vessel has been hosting the Beckhams, and even the Duchess of York and Gigi Hadid, for the past week. (Hadid is a close friend of Nicola Peltz, who married the Beckhams’ eldest son, Brooklyn, during a decadent wedding estimated at $26 million. )

Madsummer has led to Spice Girls karaoke evenings — yes, Posh gloriously took to the mic yet again — dance-offs and lush jet ski adventures. It’s also reportedly being chartered around Italy, France and Croatia for around £1.6 million-per-week (AUD $2.7 million) per week.

Luxury amenities on board Madsummer include a sparkling pool, movie theatre, sauna, spa and massage room. The vessel also features a spacious deck, with interior furnishings including decadent seas-side accents and a blue and white palette.

Aside from jet-skis, the vessel also has scuba diving and wakeboarding equipment available for guests to enjoy — which the Beckhams have also seemingly taken a liking to. During her nearly daily Instagram Post/Story update, Victoria shared an image of her cozying up to David on a jetski.

“Yes, that’s right…  @davidbeckham  got me on a jet ski 😂😂 What next?!”

And if that wasn’t enough, Madsummer also includes 28 crew members for maximum holiday relaxation. Sports and fashion royalty truly needn’t lift a finger.

It’s that time of the year when the Beckhams decamp to the European coast and we lap up their content like Kylie Jenner has been lapping up culture in Venice (another source of endless fascination this month). It’s a sorry state of affairs when celebrities on holiday become news, but here we are, about to embark on an August of yacht selfies, and we can’t deny our brains are also ready for the vacation. Victoria and David are currently in Corsica doing what they do best: cross-pollinating each other’s Instagrams with the kind of cutesy in-jokes we’ve heard before, but never fail to rack up the likes. Sun-kissed and golden-hour tipsy looks good on the designer, whose signature jewel-toned silks and crisp tailoring have been retired in favour of little black dresses not dissimilar to the diminutive shifts she wore in her popstar days. With a pint-sized Hermès Kelly perched on the table next to her glass of red, this was the kind of subtle power flex we expect from Brand Beckham while safely nestled in a private vineyard.

It-bags always enjoy their moment in the sun when Victoria is off the clock. In 2022, she accessorised a Posh-adjacent LBD with a Bottega chain bag on the beach in Saint-Tropez, and a Birkin is never far from the crook of her arm when PJ-ing to, say, Valladolid for David’s birthday. The rest of Beckham’s holiday wardrobe involves the usual paparazzi-shielding caps, denim cut-offs and pristine gym kit, as she lunges from starboard to port side to maintain her rigorous exercise regime , before pulling her kids in for the kind of embarrassing photos even A-list mums cannot resist snapping. When she’s back in her Paris atelier come September, her Harper “Seven” hoodie will be a distant memory, but for now, at least, it’s endearing for those who love merch.

This year’s yacht trip has so far promised none of the debauchery of 2022’s Madsummer , which the family chartered for a reported $1.6 million per week and where Gigi Hadid sang Spice Girls karaoke, but it’s early days at sea and the band’s back catalogue is vast once vodka is involved. It’s both torturous and entertaining to witness a holiday of this expense play out, but we’re, naturally, hook, line and sinker for the well-documented fun that unfolds.

The Party of the Summer Is Apparently on David and Victoria Beckham’s Yacht

You can feel it coming every July, as predictably as the summer solstice before it: celebrity news going dark as everybody who’s anybody retreats to their European yachting vacations. Last year, it was Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde gliding through the Tyrrhenian Sea. Once upon a dream, off the coast of Sardinia, Beyoncé leapt from the aptly named Halo. This year, the yacht party of the summer is underway on Victoria and David Beckham’s floating paradise in St. Tropez, where a full cast of Beckhams are on board.

In addition to Victoria and David, Gigi Hadid was spotted at sea over the weekend—in an ethereal gossamer cover-up—embracing the soccer legend. (The supermodel is a close friend of Nicola Peltz , the actor who married the Beckhams’ eldest son, Brooklyn, this past April.) Cruz Beckham was also photographed engaging in the time-honored tradition of yacht PDA with his reported new girlfriend, Tana Holding. Most thrilling, however, have been the glimpses at the bacchanal behind the scenes, as evidenced by David’s recently posted video of Victoria returning to her Posh Spice roots—tube dress and all—and singing the Spice Girls classic “Stop” on what appears to have been karaoke night. Why, God, isn’t this vacation being filmed for its own answer to Below Deck ?

Because I apparently want to torture myself with the details of a vacation I will never take unless I am somehow adopted as an adult by the Beckhams: Their yacht—the Madsummer—is reportedly being chartered for around $1.6 million per week; it includes 10 suites, its own pool, a screening room, and a dance floor (perfect for Spice Girls karaoke). Yacht season is officially underway; where will it take us next?

The Beckham clan are certainly living it up in style in St Tropez.

David and Victoria, their children Cruz and Harper, along with family friend Gigi Hadid , have been indulging on board a £1.6 million-per-week (AUD $2.7 million) super yacht in the French Riviera.

The decadent 311ft Madsummer vessel caters for up to 12 guests and boasts numerous stand-out features including a beach club, swimming pool and massage room.

Victoria and David have been spotted cosying up to one another on the yacht's spacious deck, with up to 28 crew members on board to cater to their every whim.

Other impressive features of the yacht include a dancefloor for Victoria to return to her Posh Spice days, a movie theatre, sauna, spa and massage room.

Gigi showed off her model figure in a tiny bikini as she worked on her tan on the yacht's deck on Sunday.

The Beckhams have been pictured taking to the sea on jet skis over recent days, while scuba diving and wakeboarding is also available for guests to enjoy.

Victoria even delighted her Instagram fans when she was filmed by David belting out lyrics to some of her iconic Spice Girl hits on the yacht's spacious deck.

Interiors take on a luxurious feel with a bold blue and white colour palette throughout the dining, bar and lounge area, timber and velvet accents, and wraparound windows for undisturbed sea views.
