Behind the Scenes  Because the safety of our guests is of absolute priority, we ensure at least 1 crew member on every La Vida Charter is First Aid/CPR/AED trained.  In addition, we also have an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) on board in the event of a rare, but cardio emergency.

La Vida also proudly participates in and has passed the Coast Guard annual “Vessel Safety Examination” for chartered yachts .  This is a comprehensive inspection of vessel safety features and crew credentials.  This is a voluntary request for the US Coast Guard to board and inspect key elements which encompass everything from fire suppression systems & lifesaving equipment to environmental protection.

Water, non-alcoholic drinks and finger foods provided. 8 hour and longer trips include chef prepared menu items to select from for a fabulous sit-down dinner.

Per regulations alcohol must be provided by our guests. All other services and décor are available at additional costs.

About La Vida Loca La Vida Loca is a beautiful 28’ Chaparral Sport Cubby Cabin. When you want a day on the water with all the amenities this is your boat. Luxury to layout in comfort and take in the sun, take a ride to your favorite restaurant, or go to one of the swimming hangouts and crank up the 1,000 watt BT stereo to your choice of music. Water toys are available as well. Get out of the water and enjoy the fresh-water shower and have a seat for lunch in the cubby cabin for some snacks. We will have an ice chest, ready with ice waiting for you. How about a nice sunset cruise with the LED accent lights in the background. Clean restroom with built in toilet provides all the comforts of home. The provided captain allows you to focus on the fun while the captain takes care of everything else.

La Vida Loca stays in Kemah at the Marina Bay Harbor Dry Dock where there is plenty of parking 50′ from where you will board the boat. This is a great location for easy access to all of the Clear Lake fun spots

Our Mission

To have  a safe, unforgettable experience while sailing the Galveston Bay and hopefully get you hooked on Sailing.

SAILING TOURS!

Sailing charters (start as low as $399 up to 6 people for 4 hours).

Includes Captain, tax, fuel, waste, cleaning and insurance. 

3 easy steps: 1) Choose a day and time. 2) Call to verify availability. 3) Make deposit to save the date.

Recommend starting the reservation process ASAP. First come first serve basis, so booking is restricted to availability.

We will meet at the marina, where there will be parking for your vehicle, and we will return to the same location after the sail.  For your convenience, we will provide soft drinks and water. You are welcome to bring your favorite drink ((BYOB) no glass containers please).  You can also bring your favorite tunes to listen while on the water (bluetooth or cable). We should have cell phone coverage during the tour.

What to bring:  Drinks (alcohol is permitted, no glass please) , Snacks, Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Hats, Jackets, Blankets, Towels, Cameras, Child's life jacket.

We are bilingual (hablamos español).

Captain Miguel is awesome. We had the pleasure of sailing with him and his son. Even though the weather was a little dreary we had the best time talking and being on the water.

Capt Miguel and his wife were wonderful! We took my 4-year-old grandson out; and they were great with him, even letting him "drive" the boat. you can listen to music and relax. Highly recommend.

Truly amazing. Perfect intimate setting. Miguel and Ali were the perfect host!! Making sure we had everything we needed and making sure we were comfortable and safe at all times. We will definitely be sailing with them in the future.

I highly recommend Mike and Robert, his first mate, this was a really unforgettable great time.

His boat is perfect and he is very professional, nice and friendly.
