We just had our annual school auction fundraiser at the Corinthian Yacht Club, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Alicia Slater and her staff were available, responsive and patient throughout the planning process, and the service was flawless that night. We had 240 people for cocktails, silent auction, live auction, a sit-down plated dinner, gambling and dancing, and Alicia and her staff worked with us on our timing and understood it perfectly. Our guests loved the setting and views, and it helped that it was an amazingly clear and warm evening. The Corinthian staff are definitely pros at this, and we'll be having more events with them in the future!

A small Dinghy will do! Stuffy "Yachties" need not apply... Wow, what a great club! I have been a member of the Corinthian for about three years now and have enjoyed every moment of my membership. The Corinthian is lively and Fun! There are so many activities that take place. The club has so many great social events. Whether taking sailing lessons, or attending the mid winter regattas the club has never let me down! The rear deck has breathtaking views of the city and is a great place to "unwind' with a glass of chilled wine. The best part of the Corinthian is that I don't need to own a luxury liner to enjoy my beautiful club on the waters edge. The most surprising aspect of this gorgeous club is that the monthly dues are about the same as an expensive fitness club in the city. Where else can you enjoy a beautiful piece of oceanfront property for such an incredible price? Unlike most yacht clubs the Corinthian does not discriminate in their acceptance of new members. If you do not own a boat you can join as a "social member" and enjoy the company of interesting people from all over the world. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed without the pretense of "old money." If you are looking for a fun social scene The Corinthian Club is the place.

Corinthian Yacht Club was the reception site for our wedding in May 2013. The breathtaking view and historic charm of CYC drew us into choosing the site for our reception. But it is the amazing staff that earns the 5 stars for giving us our dream reception! Amanda, John, and Clark worked endlessly with us and our parents, incorporating our ideas and giving helpful guidance/suggestions where needed. Prior to booking CYC, I debated if I needed to hire a wedding planner. After meeting with Amanda, I was confident that she would a terrific on-site coordinator as her attention to detail and warm personality made her easy to collaborate with. Leading up to the wedding, we had several meetings on-site with CYC and too many phone calls/emails to count! From the food tasting to the walkthrough, CYC's staff always guided us through each decision we made and was quick to answer any questions we had. They were particularly helpful with answering questions to both my parents and my husband's parents, as both sets were involved in the planning process. I was particularly impressed with how respectful and contentious they were to keep within our wedding budget, always informing of us of all the options we had before moving forward with a decision. For the wedding day itself, our reception was AMAZING. As a bride, I spent hours pouring my heart into the decorations and details for the reception. Walking into the room and seeing it all perfectly come to life is something I will always remember! The food, my goodness, the food! The steak and salmon entrees we chose, as well as the variety of appetizers, tasted like meals from a 5 star restaurant. Compliments to their chef Joe, who is a newer addition and really livened up the menu! We had many out-of-state guests who could not stop raving about the how beautiful CYC was, how delicious the food was, and what a perfect evening we had. There are a lot of high expectations leading up to a wedding, and CYC lived up to all of ours and more to make our dream reception come true! The CYC staff genuinely cared about giving us our perfect reception and it certainly showed through on our big day. If you are considering a wedding in Tiburon, this place is a MUST.

We had a party here recently as a "celebration of life" for my mother. It was incredible. We did drinks and apps for an hour before and after the speeches. Everything was perfect. The service was seamless and the snacks (which the club kindly helped to recommend) were a hit. The bar was able to keep up with the 250+ guests we had so everyone was happy. Everyone was so impressed with the event and the venue. There really is no better setting for any special occasion. The views are amazing. AMAZING. And the ballroom, bar, sunroom, patio combo make the space very user friendly. The staff helped with every detail of planning including menus, room layout (they nailed it!) as well as all the little things like AV set-up and linen colors. They helped work and re-work the plan so that it fit our budget (and they do a good job or predicting and pre-disclosing costs). Thanks John, Clark, and Amanda! I certainly don't wish to lose another loved one, but I would love another excuse to have a party here. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, you name it. I'll be hosting them all at the CYC!

We had our wedding reception at the Corinthian Yacht Club in May, and everything was amazing...from Leila's attention to detail to the food and set up. They made the process VERY relaxed, which we greatly appreciated. The view is unbeatable, and the food (especially the crab cakes made to order!) is amazing -- definitely not your typical "wedding food" experience. We were so happy with everything they did for us. They're just top-notch all the way around. We're sad to not have an "excuse" to go back anymore! If you're looking for a fabulous wedding reception venue with spectacular views of SF, look no further.

We hosted a reception here for 150 people, and the food and drink was excellent--they were even able to accommodate the needs of our few Vegan guests. As well, they were completely easy about our camouflaging some of the masculine decor with tulle and flowers. Again, across the board--the appetizers and main course(s) were excellent, and they were heavy on waitstaff, so much so that a few people's dinners were swept away a little too soon. It is not an easy feat to supply consistently delicious food to a large group--we had a party at the top hotel in SF, and the food was nowhere as consistent or tasty. Oh, yes, the view is quite lovely, and the outdoor balcony very nice.

It is unfortunate that Yelp limits reviewers to only 5 stars because the Corinthian Club deserves more than that. We had our daughter's wedding reception there in May and everything about CYC exceeded our expectations. A beautifully maintained historic club with a panoramic view of the San Francisco skyline, a gorgeous ballroom, an inviting bar & solarium all added to a magical evening... and to top it off, perfect weather, gorgeous sunset and a full moon. But that is just the building and the real stars here are the management and staff. We had several meetings with their long time event coordinator and were concerned when she unexpectedly passed away 3 months before the event. Changing personnel midstream could have been difficult, but, John, catering manager, and Amanda, catering assistant assured us that we need not worry and they were right. They were extremely responsive to all of our questions and concerns, handled last minute changes without question, and went out of their way to make sure that this wedding reception was exactly the way we envisioned. The room was set exactly as intended down to the vintage books selected by the bride for each centerpiece being placed at the correct tables. The place settings were arranged in almost military precision and candles lit at the right moment. They helped us develop a time line that worked well through the evening. And then there was the food....they are known for their crab cakes and they were scrumptious. We had chosen salmon and filet as the two main course options and they rivaled meals you would expect in a first class restaurant. They are well equipped to do large events and spent several hours with us sampling items until we came up with the final menu. (The tasting is one of the wedding planning events not to miss - love the chef!) Their trained staff were efficient and friendly in serving the crowd. We had a few vegan guests and they were all served exactly as requested. (Amanda even found a source in SF and had a vegan cake delivered so everyone had a delicious dessert.) The happiest guest though might have been the little guy who whispered to his mom that he didn't like red sauce on his kid's meal (yes, they did a special entree for our junior guests). It was whisked away without question and replaced by buttered pasta in minutes. The server told the mom that she had kids about the same age and understood. I felt that John, Amanda and the crew truly cared as much about this event as if it were there own....a rarity in today's world. If you want a beautiful wedding reception that your guests remember as the best they have been to, then CYC is the place.

This place does it right. We were looking for a venue that allowed us to showcase our classic style. From the moment we contacted them to the final transaction. Pure class, and customer service were shown. We loved every step of the way. Our special day went off without a hitch. I was never asked a question. The selection chosen for alcohol was raved about for months after the wedding. This was the first reception our guests attended where they "enjoyed the food". If you are looking for a place to hold your reception look no further you have found it.

Feel the Corinthian leather oooohhhh; great views, nice to tie up here, get a simple burger, and coke, then back to St. Francis Yacht Club for Tom Collins. Just one of those great locations and Yacht Clubs for Northern California.

Wonderful club. Terrific members and views. What an amazing new chef.

Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club

Established in 1976, PCYC members enjoy social and boating activities in one of Ventura County's most beautiful settings. Operating year-round, the Pacific Corinthian Yacht Club offers a variety of activities for our members and families including a swimming pool and spa, a full service dining room, and full service bar. Our members enjoy, sailing the Pacific Ocean on the club sailboat Selavy, navigating Channel Islands Harbor in the club owned 22ft electric boat, paddle boarding, riding the aqua bikes, and kayaking.

PCYC takes pride in being one of the friendliest yacht clubs in Southern California. As a member of the Southern California Yachting Association, club members enjoy reciprocity benefits with yacht clubs throughout California, and around the world. But what our members like most is coming to the club on a Friday night for Ice Breakers (Happy Hour) and dinner, meeting friends for bridge (3 groups) staying healthy with yoga, and enjoying the friendships they have made with other members.
