CREATIVE FREEDOM

With a large panoramic glazing, the main deck saloon is an extensive and fully customizable area filled with natural light. A sliding door opens the interior lounging space wide onto the aft cockpit, inviting the outside in. The volumes within the hulls of the 100 Sunreef Power offer full freedom for customization with infinite options to set up generous guest accommodation.

The stern cockpit of the 100 Sunreef Power uses the 100m yacht’s entire beam for a unique alfresco dining and lounging experience. The area features a hydraulic aft platform and a garage for two large jet skis, a refueling station, and a selection of water toys. The platform can be leveled with the aft skirts to create a large beach club.

A WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES

The bow terrace offers a large sunken lounging area accessed directly from the main saloon. With immense living space, the 100m yacht’s flybridge can be fitted with a spa-pool, sofas, sunpads, a dining area, and a bar.

The Mega-Cat Avant-Garde: Sunreef 100 Sail Catamaran

Sunreef Yachts adds a new superyacht to its range of exclusive sail catamarans. The Sunreef 100 is an imposing craft made for cruising worldwide in total luxury. The yacht follows the design of the successful Sunreef 50 , Sunreef 60 , Sunreef 70 and Sunreef 80 catamarans. With a 12.8m beam, this seaworthy custom superyacht will boast 433m² of living space including an immense flybridge and bow terrace.

The yacht’s interiors and alfresco lounging spaces allow infinite options for customization. While providing luxurious accommodation for up to 12, the Sunreef 100 offers full freedom for bespoke layouts which can incorporate a spa area, an office, a drinks bar or fitness room.

Thanks to an innovative aft garage, the Sunreef 100 will be able to easily carry and launch two large jet-skis among a large variety of water toys on board. The yacht’s hydraulic aft platform will double up as a beach club when lowered, providing plenty of space for relaxation.

Thanks to the in-house designed and developed solar panel system covering up to 200m², the 100 Sunreef Power maximizes solar energy generation with 40kWp of capacity. Owners have the option of using solar panels, wind turbines, and hydro-electric power derived from the propellers, to charge the ultra-light battery bank which are completely state-of-the-art. It's important to note that these exclusive lithium batteries are 30% lighter than the average marine battery and outperforms it.

Sunreef 100 Eco first look: unlimited range without emitting any carbon?

The Sunreef 100 Eco offers vast amounts of renewable energy via the solar panels laminated flush into the hull. But it's more than just an eco-friendly super cat

Sunreef is celebrating two recent orders for its Sunreef 100 Eco sailing catamarans – both from existing Sunreef owners. It’ll be the first time they’ve built this model with sails, although there are already two of the larger 43m Eco sailing cats on order.

The Sunreef 100 Eco is distinguished by the way that solar panels are laminated flush into the hull, superstructure and even the mast and boom – giving them a speckled effect.

Of course, the point is to generate electricity to top up the boat’s batteries, and they do a good job of that, with up to 45kW of capacity installed. Sunreef says that this power gives the boat’s electric motors potentially unlimited range without emitting any carbon.

That may be true – in theory – but most users are likely to want the sort of speeds that require firing up the generators. However, the solar input can keep the boat operating silently at anchor, meaning no generator hum overnight or while sitting out enjoying the sunset.

Otherwise, the design offers epic outdoor entertaining space and an interior that owes more to loft living than boating.

The huge saloon connects to an even bigger aft deck through doors that slide out of sight. The master cabin is positioned forward on the main deck with great views through copious glazing, while there are four further doubles in the hulls – all with gigantic beds.

Up to five crew can be accommodated, with the captain having a dedicated cabin and companionway aft. There are fold-down wings, a vast beach club-style aft platform, plus a flybridge with Jacuzzi, bar and dining table. The full spec is still being hammered out with the clients.

Reporting from the 2023 Palma Boat Show, MBY editor Hugo Andreae takes us on a full tour of the Sunreef 100 Power...

The Sunreef 100 Power takes on-board accommodation to a whole new level thanks partly to its LOA of 98ft 3in (29.95m), but mostly to its maximum beam of 44ft 3in (13.5m).

Key features include a simply enormous 25m2 aft deck, 30m2 foredeck and 85m2 flybridge . For comparison the main saloon is around 88m2.

Hull accommodation consists of five double ensuite cabins, two to port, including the owners’ amidships and three to starboard, plus six crew across three cabins.

Propulsion comes from twin 1,300hp MAN V8 diesels, giving it a trans-Atlantic range of more than 3,000nm at 10 knots, while solar panels on the hardtop will help run the electrical systems.

Other features include an extensive crew area, upper deck spa pool, on-board gym and a large central galley, which is supplied by a lower-deck cold store room.

Other layout options are available, including one where the owner gets an even better deal with a vast suite at the front end of the enclosed flybridge , with separate bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes and access to their own private aft deck.

There’s also the option for a separate study area on the main deck or a side-access tender garage . On hull #1, tender storage is aft with room for two three-seater Jet Skis underneath the high-low platform.

The other big wow factor on the Sunreef 100 Power is a multi-level beach club that descends to the water in a series of aft terraces. This leaves the main deck free for a big saloon and a small enclosed bridge area to starboard.

Sunreef expects to see this new layout start filtering through into its 60-90ft portfolio in the coming years. An even bigger 162ft Sunreef Power 49M is also under construction, but no further details of this have yet been released.
