Matteo Liberotti Co-owner and Captain, Matteo Liberotti, has been sailing between the Mediterranean and the Americas for the past 25 years with over 200,000 nautical miles of experience. His knowledge of the Mediterranean and the sailing routes of the Caribbean and the East Coast are extensive. His passion for the sea ranges from sailing to kite surfing to diving (both SCUBA and freediving). He started working as a kite surf instructor in his early twenties and has continued this instruction aboard for his guests ever since. Matteo fishes and spear fishes for fresh fish to enjoy aboard. Being a SSI/PADI Dive Expert he can accompany certified divers on underwater excursions as well. As Captain, Matteo takes care of every aspect of the sailing experience and makes sure that La Videlle always runs and sails smoothly. As owner, Matteo ensures clients have the best possible experience and end up sharing his love for sailing and the sea. Jade Lam Your co-Owner, Jade was born and raised in Hawaii. Having grown up in and around the ocean, Jade has enjoyed surfing, diving, fishing and other outdoor activities one can experience only in Hawaii. After receiving her BA in Communications in the US, Jade moved to Rome, Italy where she studied art, interior design and cooking. She has made her home in Italy for the past 25 years and raised two amazing daughters. For the past 18 years she has built an import business and has operated and owned two home design boutiques in Rome. This business has taken her around the world sourcing, designing and manufacturing beautiful, unique and artisanal furnishings. Recently, selling her interest in her shops, she is now owner, crew and chef on La Videlle. You will see her attention to authenticity, beauty and quality in the interiors, as well as in her cooking. Jade has avidly and passionately studied the culinary arts since studying at her first cooking school at the age 12!

LA VIDELLE Specifications

EXTERIOR A beautiful performance sailing yacht with fabulous flush teak decking. There is plenty of space on the foredeck for sunbathing while the aft area presents a row of sun pads between the aft helm and sunken cockpit. The cockpit is fitted with sofa bench on three sides surrounding a flexible leafed table – the third side leads down into the main salon. The space can be covered by soft biminis when needed.

INTERIOR The main salon is down central ladder steps and is decorated with mixture of bright wood and neutral soft furnishings. There is a port side u-shaped sofa with an up/down table which can be a coffee or dining table. To starboard is another bench seat adjacent to the navigation equipment. The traditional galley is off the central corridor.

As Captain, Matteo takes care of every aspect of the sailing experience and makes sure that La Videlle always runs and sails smoothly. As owner, Matteo ensures clients have the best possible experience and end up sharing his love for sailing and the sea. Jade Lam Your co-Owner, Jade was born and raised in Hawaii. Having grown up in and around the ocean, Jade has enjoyed surfing, diving, fishing and other outdoor activities one can experience only in Hawaii. After receiving her BA in Communications in the US, Jade moved to Rome, Italy where she studied art, interior design and cooking. She has made her home in Italy for the past 25 years and raised two amazing daughters. For the past 18 years she has built an import business and has operated and owned two home design boutiques in Rome. This business has taken her around the world sourcing, designing and manufacturing beautiful, unique and artisanal furnishings. Recently, selling her interest in her shops, she is now owner, crew and chef on La Videlle. You will see her attention to authenticity, beauty and quality in the interiors, as well as in her cooking. Jade has avidly and passionately studied the culinary arts since studying at her first cooking school at the age 12!

Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). FELCI 71 VIDELLE

The hull of Videlle, the second Felci 71 to be launched, was created for long off-shore voyages and inspired by the typically Open yachts. The deck is classic with a rigging cockpit in the stern and a completely separate, spacious guest cockpit without any rigging in the centre of the craft. The interior design, created by the owner’s architect in an extremely classic style, with great attention paid to detail, is characterized by a spacious owner’s main cabin in the stern, which takes full advantage of the width of her innovative bottom, whilst the bow has been divided up to give three more double cabins with en-suite bathroom. The generous-sized dinette is in the centre and the hull-fitted galley complete the below-decks area of this yacht that is at the same time both classic and modern.
