These two were a pleasure to know the second I met them for their engagement session this past fall where they braved cold temps for the session. Not the case for the big day last weekend. They decided on a first look which was so sweet followed by some formal photos down at Kalmus Beach, Hyannis. After finishing up at the beach we headed over to the Hyannis Yacht Club for an amazing wedding day to celebrate these two.

Sarah and Bob’s Cape Cod beach wedding at Hyannis Yacht Club in Hyannis, MA

Sarah and Bob were married in a church wedding ceremony at the Christ the King Parish in Mashpee, MA.  Their beach wedding reception was held at the Hyannis Yacht Club in Hyannis, Cape Cod, MA.  The Cape is very lovely this time of year, and not yet too crowded.  Long Haul Films did an excellent job of the videography.  It was a nice relaxed wedding and perfectly reflected Sarah and Bob’s love of the ocean, the beach and boating.  Sarah got ready at her family’s Duxbury home where both she and her mother grew up.  Her own mother got ready for her wedding there as well.  The photograph of them below with them getting ready in the mirror, was a similar shot that is in her parents wedding album.  It was such a pleasure looking through an old wedding album, it makes you appreciate the value of placing your memories in a nice heirloom album that future generations can enjoy as opposed to a disc that can get lost or fail (and where my own images happen to be sitting, but I will get around to making that album for myself someday….) Now back to the wedding day…  Here are a few of my favorite images from the day.
