Wally B is a fast cruising sloop built by Pendennis Shipyard England and delivered in 1998. Wally B was refitted extensively in 2012 thereafter: new sails, paint job, new decks, air condition…she is in mint condition and ready to be hired ! The interior and exterior is designed by Luca Brenta & C while naval architecture is done by Lazzarini Pickering Architects. Result is high-tech and state-of-the-art sailing yacht with unique minimalistic interior and exterior. The designers used natural materials to built this stunning luxury sailboat. Wally B features large and spacious decks that provide charter guests freedom to enjoy in sun or in shade of bimini. If your charter party prefers sailing up or down the wind, than you are at the right place! Wally B is a top class, maxi racing sailboat! Her hull is made of carbon, Kevlar like all racing sailboats. She accommodates six guests in three double cabins, all en-suite and she is manned by crew of five. Wally B is powered by Scania MI9 engine with 350 BHP. Scania MI9 can take her to max 12.0 Knots of speed, while she usually cruise in Mediterranean yachting destinations at 10.0 Knots of speed.

We use MYBA ( The Worldwide Yachting Association) agreements produced to standardize charter terms and protect the Charterer ( You) , the Owner, and the Agent/Broker.

It has standard protections and escalation clauses in case any problems arise.

Once you have signed a MYBA charter contract, you are obligated to pay the entire charter regardless you actually board the yacht.

In exceptional cases, you may be able to cancel, but monies will be refunded only if the yacht can be chartered to another client, therefore many we suggest purchase of insurance against cancellation.

Charter fee is paid in two rates ; 50% of charter fee when the charter contract is signed and 50 % 4 weeks before charter commencement. Extra expenses are charged with Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA). APA is usually 25 % to 30 % of total charter fee and also depending on your itinerary, food, beverages etc. Captain will keep accurate records of funds spent during your charter and at the end of the charter, you will be refunded the difference, or you will asked to pay more during the cruise if further running costs are incurred.

Sailing superyacht Wally B now for sale with Edmiston and Fraser

The 32.72 metre sailing yacht Wally B has had a central agency change and is now jointly listed for sale by Edmiston & Company and Fraser .

Built by UK yard Pendennis with naval architecture by Brenta Design and interior styling by Lazzarini Pickering , she was delivered in 1998 by  Wally Yachts . Refitted in 2002, she sleeps six guests in three cabins consisting of a large master suite and two doubles, all with en suite shower facilities.

A large saloon on this yacht for sale has a lounge area with comfortable L-shaped seating on settees upholstered in white fabric and there is an entertainment centre including a large built in television screen while forward is a dining area with seating for six guests.

Timeless in design, her carbon composite construction makes her very light, fast and surprisingly simple to handle under sail. And her open uncluttered decks — with hidden control lines — make moving around simple and effortless. Under power, a single 385hp Scania engine gives her a range of 1,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

She was bought by her current owner in 2011 and during the winter of 2012/13 had major work undertaken including full new sails, new teak throughout and all engineering was serviced and rebuilt. She also had full new audio visual systems installed.

Furthermore, in 2016 she underwent her 15 year Lloyds survey, had a fresh paint job on her hull and had a new keel fitted so she is in excellent condition.

Wally B is lying in Carrara, Italy, asking €3,500,000.

Exhilarating performance and pitch-perfect handling is fused with Wally’s taught aesthetic to offer guests a truly sublime experience on the water. 

Iconic lines marked out the original wallypower118, and the same purity of design has been passed on to the wallypower58. The large glass-and-carbon dome is instantly recognizable, and there’s Wally’s usual uncompromising focus on deck space for indoor-outdoor living. 

Wrap-around glazing complements the angular sweep of the windscreen and envelops a large cockpit. This offers the room for an elegant polygonal dining table and a deep sofa. Cabinets on both sides can be filled with the owner’s choice of fridges, cooktops and storage to create a flexible galley. 

A large sunpad dominates the aft deck, with its signature fold-down wings. In a unique twist, Wally has developed a striking electrical awning that swings up out of the deck like the roof of a soft-top car. A convertible passerelle-bathing ladder is hidden in the stern, and the aft platform lowers into the water at the touch of a button to launch / retrieve the tender and water toys. 

Wally has put the volume to great use below, with a true double bed in the bow and a large shower room. Options then range from a comfortable double saloon to a guest cabin or a single crew berth, all with a guest shower and day head. Natural light streams in from overhead and Wally’s innovative virtual windows, so-called Magic portholes, relay camera images from outside. In this way, the hull lines remain pure and there is less risk when going alongside. 

Top speed reaches a heady 38 knots with the optional upgrade to Volvo Penta IPS800 drives. But even at 32 knot cruising speed, the yacht has a 320 nautical mile range.

China targets

The State Department's sanctions included moves aimed at stifling Russia's energy sector and against companies in Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Central Asian economies that the US believed were helping Russia evade sanctions, the State Department said.

"Today's actions hit Russia where it hurts - degrading its ability to generate revenue through its energy projects and disrupting its acquisition of materiel to supply its war machine," said Aaron Forsberg, the State Department's director for economic sanctions policy and implementation.

Targets included the import-export arm of China's Dalian Machine Tool Group, which the State Department said had supplied $4 million of dual-use items to Russian companies.

The Treasury also targeted more than 20 Hong Kong and China-based firms it said were supplying Russia's military industrial base.

The spokesperson for China's embassy in Washington, Liu Pengyu, said Beijing "firmly opposes unilateral sanctions based on 'long-arm jurisdiction'" and added that "normal trade between China and Russia should not be undermined, still less turned into an instrument to smear and contain China."

The latest US sanctions included measures against firms supplying components used in the Orlan drones that Russia was using in Ukraine.

Washington also sought with the sanctions to disrupt future energy projects in Russia and its shipment of liquefied natural gas. It targeted Russia's $21 billion Arctic LNG 2 project, which has already been hit by Western sanctions that have curbed its access to ice-class tankers, and other companies involved in future energy projects in Russia, according to the fact sheet.

The sanctions also targeted companies involved in the shipments, like UAE-based White Fox Ship Management, which the US said recently acquired four tankers to ship LNG.
