Below Deck Mediterranean 's Kyle Viljoen Collapses in Scary Preview
Below deck mediterranean stew kyle viljoen falls to floor during a frightening dizzy spell mid-charter in e news' exclusive sneak peek at the bravo series' nov. 13 episode..
Kyle Viljoen is sick at sea.
The Below Deck Mediterranean stew has an unexpected health scare as seen in E! News' exclusive preview of the Bravo series' Nov. 13 episode. While cleaning up after a late-night party thrown for their latest charter guests, the yachtie's head starts spinning.
"Tumi, I don't feel good," Kyle, with a troubled look on his face, tells Chief Stew Tumi Mhlongo . "I'm very dizzy."
At first, Tumi thinks her stew is overreacting. "Kyle, are you being dramatic?" she asks, to which Kyle replies, "No, I'm serious. I feel very dizzy. I just need to lie down."
After Kyle collapses on the ground, Tumi realizes the seriousness of her coworker's condition and runs to get help, exclaiming in a panic, "I don't know what to do!"
But Kyle's medical issues aren't the only matter testing Tumi's leadership skills. The sneak peek also shows the chief stew confronting Chef Jack Luby about getting a little too friendly with the group of female guests aboard the Mustique .
"You definitely have a crush on them," she teases the cook. "And you taking a little sneaky shot. I'm like, 'This guy's got guts.' Sandy is so strict on that. You have to tell her. You don't want her to find out."
The comment about his inappropriate drinking catches Jack by surprise. "She's not gonna find out, is she?" he responds. "Unless people go snitching."
After assuring her subordinate "she's going to find out," Tumi explains her concern in a confessional.
"I feel like I'm giving Jack the opportunity to tell Sandy," she notes, "because she'll find out somewhere or other, whether it's through the guest, whether it's through crew member. Like, she would find out. And I really hope he does the right thing."
See how the drama with Kyle and Jack plays out when Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
And keep reading to relive some of the most shocking crew exits in Bravo history.
If there's one thing to learn from Camille Lamb 's Below Deck firing, it's to not slack off on the job. That's exactly why the season 10 stew was let go by substitute Captain Sandy Yawn , as Chief Stew Fraser Olender continued to criticize Camille's behavior on board.
From being caught drinking while preparing for a new charter to partying at late hours and more, Fraser informed Captain Sandy that he had reached his "last straw."
"She's the common denominator in all of this," said Captain Sandy. "Great girl, great personality, but at the same time, we have to do what's best for the boat."
Below Deck Adventure 's Kyle Dickard was let go just three episodes into the reality franchise's latest series—which premiered in November 2022. After picking fights with his fellow deckhand Nathan Morley —as well as kissing crew mates in front of guests—Kyle was offered by Captain Kerry Titheradge the opportunity to resign so that his firing would not end up on his personal record.
Kyle took the Captain up on his offer and left the boat after just one charter.
Captain Sandy let bosun Raygan Tyler go during season seven of Below Deck Mediterranean , not only for causing the boat to take a small hit while docking, but also for not stepping up to the plate as a leader.
But Captain Sandy didn't want her firing to discourage the bosun, as she told Raygan, "If I had the time and I wasn't running a boat this size, I would train you. I would teach you."
In addition to onboard romances and failing to follow directions , one of the biggest reasons behind stew Elizabeth Frankini 's Below Deck firing was her infamous laundry room accident , during which made a toxic mess when combining bleach and laundry soap.
"Unfortunately, I didn't know that was so toxic and I feel so bad about it," she told E! News of the incident in December 2020 . "You know, I do feel really bad, especially 'cause Francesca [ Rubi ] did say, 'Take it outside.'"
The bosun and stew were both fired by Captain Jason Chambers for inappropriate behavior after a night of partying with their fellow yachties.
Luke Jones was let go after getting into Stew Margot Sisson 's bed naked while she was drunk and unconscious. Laura Bileskaine also made unwanted advances on Deckhand Adam Kodra despite him telling her he was not interested in hooking up.
Jason made it known that consent was a must, and sent both crewmembers packing.
Tensions between stew Lexi Wilson and Chef Mathew Shea came to a head during an explosive dinner fight on season six of Below Deck Mediterranean , during which Lexi told Matt that his parents "should've aborted you." That was the last straw for Captain Sandy, who fired her not long after the incident.
Deckhand Tom Pearson said "bon voyage" to Below Deck Sailing Yacht after getting let go by Captain Glenn Shephard . Tom hit his last strike with the Captain after failing to report that the boat's anchor was dragging during heavy winds one night, causing a potential safety risk for everyone on board.
"It had to be done. It was such a grievous thing that he dropped the ball there, he had to go, and we had to just be man down and live with it, you know?" Captain Glenn said of the decision on Watch What Happens Live. "So, obviously, you don't want to do that, but yeah, it had to happen."
Some people are picky eaters, but Below Deck Down Under' s Ryan McKeown was quite the picky chef, as he would judge guests' food requests and fail to take criticism from Captain Jason Chambers , as well.
Perhaps Ryan's Below Deck exit is one of the franchise's most memorable, as he mooned Jason and viewers on his way off the boat.
Below Deck Down Under stew Magda Ziomek 's firing was another case of slacking on the job. After constantly being on her phone texting or video chatting with her boyfriend, Chief Stew Aesha Scott decided to replace Magda before the end of the charter season.
Below Deck Mediterranean 's Peter Hunziker was fired from the series in June 2020 after he shared an offensive post on social media.
"Peter Hunziker of Below Deck Mediterranean has been terminated for his racist post," Bravo wrote in a statement at the time. "Bravo and 51 Minds are editing the show to minimize his appearance for subsequent episodes."
Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier was let go by Captain Sandy on Below Deck Mediterranean after boson Malia White discovered her co-star possessed undeclared Valium and a vape pen, the former of which Hannah claimed was for her anxiety.
"If I could do it all over again, I would've just declared them as soon as I came on board," Hannah stated in an August 2020 interview with E! News. "It was definitely not something that was intentional. I wasn't trying to hide anything.
Below Deck Mediterranean 's Delaney Evans left just as quickly as she arrived. After initially being brought on during season six to help out Chief Stew Katie Flood , Katie determined that Delaney was doing more harm than good, choosing to let her go after just one charter.
"I think she was overwhelmed with the situation, and I think that, you know, in her mind, the best solution to the situation was just to go back to what they had before," Delaney told Bravo Insider of Katie's decision. "I think she was just overwhelmed with everything that was going on and all the feedback she was getting."
Deckhand Shane Coopersmith was a bit in over his head on season eight of Below Deck , as he was let go for failing to know basic skills, reporting late for duty and taking naps on the job.
Chaos in the kitchen led to Captain Lee Rosbach letting Chef Leon Walker go on season three of Below Deck . After an oven fire broke out , Lee placed the blame on Chief Stew Kate Chastain but was ultimately the one sent home.
Like several of the franchise's stars, Below Deck 's Chris Brown was fired during season five for failing to fully perform his duties. After being let go by Captain Lee, Chris shared some parting words as he left the boat, stating , "Who gives a s--t?"
Chef Mila Kolomeitseva was fired by Captain Sandy on season four of Below Deck Mediterranean after failing to use her cooking skills to produce top-quality food for guests—including some not-so-nice nachos .
"Of course it makes me feel awful," Mila said of her departure . "People like me who have big egos sometimes have to be put down to earth a little bit. But it makes me feel like I want to work even harder."
Sometimes people just don't work well together. That's exactly why Captain Lee fired Chandler Brooks during season six of Below Deck , telling the boson, "I don't think it's a good fit."

Kyle Viljoen is no stranger to the world of luxury, but even he was blown away when he first joined the crew of a Miami super yacht.
Sitting down with TheThings again, the South African-born Stew from Below Deck Med shares what he's learned aboard the floating playgrounds of the elite - as well as the challenges that come with the territory.
Kyle Recounts His Early Days Aboard Super Yachts
As Kyle has previously told TheThings , prior to his career in yachting, he worked for one of the richest people in South Africa. Sounds like a pretty cushy life as is ... so what prompted the career change?
"My brother told me, 'pack your stuff, we're going to Miami!' I was like ... what the hell are we doing in Miami? He said, 'we're working on super yachts."
From that moment, Kyle was on a mission to learn everything he had to know about the business, and the rest is history.
"I packed my stuff within two months and moved to Miami. I've been there for four years, and now, we're in New York!"
Well, when he's not in the Med, that is!
Kyle On The Difference Between Super Yachts And ... Everything Else
There are boats ... and then there are boats -- and Kyle Viljoen is very happy to say he spends most time on the latter.
Kyle begins by pointing out that there are challenges on any yacht. However, it goes with the territory that guests on board super yachts are expecting a little something extra .
"Guests are paying this outrageous amount of money, so you know they're expecting next level service."
RELATED: The Crew Tries To Please An Insatiable Group Of Guests On 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht'
It's no surprise, then, that per Kyle "everything is luxury from the get-go."
"The water has to be luxury. The bathing products have to be luxury. It's one place you're guaranteed to be exposed to the luxurious life."
Um, where do we sign up?
The Best Part Of Yachting, According To Kyle Viljoen
If the luxuries alone weren't enough of a selling point, Kyle maintains that the best part about working aboard a super yacht is the people.
"I love working with such diverse cultures, from around the world."
For the Stew, it's all about the learning experience.
RELATED: Below Deck Down Under Exclusive: How Captain Jason Joined The Cast
"I learn the most about countries from the mouths of people who live in them."
...And The Worst
However, it's not all moonlight and roses. Quite the contrary, Kyle points out that in the best case scenario, you'll be working alongside people you get on with.
As for the worst case scenario ...
"The positive of yachting lies in meeting people ... but it can also be the negative."
It's for that reason, he explains, that he would always suggest knowing your personality type ahead of time.
"If you are not a people's person, yachting is not for you. At all. You'll be faced with people you may not like, 24/7."
Having said that, Kyle also points out that after a while, it becomes easier to set petty issues aside.

"You develop a long mental barrier, and you start getting a filter," he promises.
However, there will be times the facade slips - and it's better to accept that, in advance.
"There will be times you'll just lose it - especially when you're staying in close quarters with nutcases for what feels like years on end!
Hey, as long as it's kept to a minimum, right?
Challenges aside, we'd say Kyle Viljoen sells the idea of working on a super yacht pretty well. And luckily for those still not convinced, there's always Below Deck Med .

Daisy and Colin Reveal the Truth About What Happened After Filming BDSY Season 4
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht engineer dropped a serious bombshell about their boatmance: “Nobody knows this.”
The Parsifal III crew officially said goodbye to Season 4 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht with Part 2 of the reunion, which took place in the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse on July 18.
How to Watch
Watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Bravo on Monday, October 7 at 9/8c and next day on Peacock . Catch up on the Bravo app .
In the reunion’s dramatic conclusion, chief stew Daisy Kelliher and engineer Colin MacRae finally faced off about the demise of their boatmance, which blossomed throughout the fourth season.
As the two shared their sides of the story regarding their breakup, Colin and Daisy revealed some major secrets about their relationship and what happened once the cameras stopped rolling.
Keep scrolling for the biggest revelations from the second and final part of the reunion.
What Happened Between Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae After BDSY Season 4
When Colin and Daisy left Parsifal III on the Season 4 finale , they vowed to keep in contact and to see if their connection could last off the boat.
During the reunion, Colin noted that the two “explored something together” after the show, but said things fell apart by the end of 2022.
Gary King, Daisy Kelliher, and Colin MacRae Reflect on Their "Awkward" Love Triangle
“The first time I saw her again was at the Newport boat show. I flew her in from the U.K. to come see me. That was really good,” he said. “There was a couple of other things that we did. We spent a couple of weeks together in Mexico. I flew to New York to see her.”
However, after seeing each other a few times, Colin said the relationship took a hit.
“We were kind of bouncing around together for a little while, and then it kind of turned a little toxic, I would say, and I ended things around December [of] last year,” he added.
Why Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae’s Relationship Turned “Toxic”
Both Daisy and Colin agreed on one thing: Their romance ended badly. When asked why the relationship became toxic, Daisy said, “Because we triggered each other. You’re missing the whole point of why it really turned badly.”
Daisy went on to claim that Colin had been sleeping with someone else when he arrived to Parsifal III to film Season 4.
“I turn up to the boat and I find out that he has been sleeping with someone that he is working with,” Daisy said, explaining why she seemed upset with Colin throughout the season. “So I immediately retreat, put up all of my walls… I become very defensive.”
Daisy Kelliher reveals Colin MacRae’s current relationship status
The chief stew noted that Colin made her “feel very guilty about the Gary [King] thing” during filming, and “throughout the year” afterward.
“Then throughout the year, I permanently asked about this woman, and I asked why it was different with me and Gary and not this woman. And he said, ‘The difference is I’m telling you there’s nothing between me and this woman, that there is no future, even if you and I break up, there’s no future,’” Daisy recalled.
Gary, Daisy, and Colin's Messy Love Triangle Leaves Mads and Chase with *Feelings*
However, after she and Colin broke up, Daisy found out he was in a relationship with the woman he had apparently been hooking up with before Season 4.
“So then to find out from my crew members a couple of months after we had broken up that he was now in a serious relationship with this woman, it was very shocking for me to hear, very hurtful,” she added. “And the toxicity was always there because the trust was never there.”
Colin later spoke up about his girlfriend, noting that she “treats me really f-cking good.”
Colin MacRae and Daisy Kelliher’s Pre-Season Hook-Up
Viewers may have thought that Colin and Daisy shared their first kiss on the staircase on Episode 8 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 , but the engineer dropped a bombshell during the reunion that changed everything.
“Before filming Season 4, Daisy and I hooked up,” Colin revealed. “This is what nobody knows in the audience, nobody knows this.”
Daisy interjected, asking for the two to “go back to Season 2” if they wanted to talk about everything that happened.
“This is why the relationship turned toxic,” Colin said, reacting to Daisy’s interjection. “You can’t reason with this woman. And I realized that, and that’s why I ended things with her.”
Gary King and Colin MacRae Majorly Clash Over *This* Below Deck Sailing Yacht Drama
Colin said he called Gary after he first hooked up with Daisy, and the first mate was “stoked.” He said he told Captain Glenn Shephard as well, and he was “happy about it.”
“Daisy was in my hotel room days before filming,” he added. “We had started something already.”
When did Colin MacRae find out about Gary King and Daisy Kelliher’s hook-up?
While Daisy and Colin may not have been fully honest about when they first kissed, Colin said he really did find out about Daisy and Gary’s hook-up on the show. “I found that out halfway through the season, filming,” he confirmed on the reunion.
Why Daisy Kelliher Got Emotional at the Reunion
On the final part of the reunion, viewers got some clarity about the moment when Daisy got up from her chair.
The chief stew began to cry when Colin said she had “zero remorse” about the end of their relationship.
When she returned to her chair, Daisy explained why she had such a strong reaction.
“I’m f-cked either way. I’m always going to be the bitter, angry, crazy woman,” she said. “I’m never gonna win. It’s never gonna matter what I say. It’s never gonna matter, my actions.”
Where Daisy Kelliher and Colin MacRae Stand Today
Though Colin and Daisy no longer have a romantic relationship or even a friendship with each other, they both acknowledged that their connection was genuine. Colin noted that he “a thousand percent” had real feelings for Daisy.
“I told her the whole time. Before the season, during the season, after the season. Genuine connection. I did my very, very, very f-cking best to try to be with this woman. I flew her all around the place, I was trying to make it work,” he said. “This isn’t badmouthing Daisy, but she was sort of pushing me away a little bit, trying to figure out if it was real. Unfortunately, by the time she figured out it was real, we were arguing exactly as we are tonight.”
Gary King Just Revealed *This* Secret About Colin MacRae to a Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producer
Daisy said she wasn’t in love with Colin, but she did have “very strong feelings to the point of possibly we were falling in love.”
“I was more afraid by the fact that he didn’t tell me he was with this girl. I thought we were friends, and I thought we broke up in friendship,” she continued. “Knowing that all of these people on this screen knew this for months before I did is humiliating.”
You can watch extended, uncensored versions of the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 reunion on Peacock . Part 2 will drop on the streamer on Wednesday, July 19.

The golden bachelorette: i'm convinced joan vassos settled for chock chapple at the finale (he was the safe choice), the golden bachelorette: signs mark anderson is in a committed relationship (it would mean he can't be the golden bachelor).
This article contains spoilers for the cast of Below Deck season 12.
- Kyle Stillie returns to St. David in Below Deck season 12, making fans excited for his comeback on the superyacht.
- Kyle's previous boatmance with Stew Barbie hit a rough patch, but he's back on board for more adventures.
- As a seasoned Below Deck veteran, Kyle is ready to tackle drama and duties as Deckhand on St. David once again.
Below Deck season 12’s charter season has been moving along with several different fans having spotted the St. David, confirming one cast member’s return to the series . While Below Deck season 11 may have just ended, the next charter season is well underway and some of the crew working aboard St. David are familiar faces. In some seasons, Below Deck features a crew of fresh faces, but in others, crew members return and choose to join in on the charter for another season of hard work and fun. Several cast members are rumored to return on Below Deck season 12 .
According to one Reddit user, u/svCatchinRays2 , Below Deck season 11’s Deckhand Kyle Stillie appears confirmed to return to St. David. The user s hared a video of Kyle, who seems to be washing dishes in the galley of the superyacht , explaining, “I’ve seen the posts where it does look like his return has been confirmed, and maybe my video verifies it because it sure does look like Kyle doing the dishes in the galley.” Below Deck season 12’s cast also features Captain Kerry Titheradge and Chief Stew Fraser Olender. With three returnees, the rest of the cast is likely new.
Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.
Kyle Stillie Deserves To Return For Below Deck Season 12
While Kyle was one of the more rowdy members of the St. David’s crew on Below Deck season 11, he deserves another shot aboard the superyacht after his performance through the prior season. Though Kyle wasn’t promoted to the Lead Deckhand position by Ben Willoughby, who said he wouldn’t return to Below Deck under the leadership of Captain Kerry, he was great in his position of Deckhand, despite some small hiccups. Still learning, Kyle did follow Ben’s lead and chose not to clean his bunk for a room inspection, but his performance on deck was well worth another charter season.
Kyle’s time aboard St. David during Below Deck season 11 revolved around Stew Barbie Pascual at some points, as his boatmance with his colleague grew throughout the charter season. While Barbie and Kyle appeared to have a good relationship heading into the off-season, their personalities clashed far too much for them to keep things going on land . After Barbie’s meltdown on the final night of the season, she and Kyle reportedly dated for some time before breaking up for good. Single and back aboard a superyacht, it’s possible Kyle could delve into another boatmance on Below Deck season 12.
After Below Deck season 11 ended in a somewhat sour manner for Kyle, his time aboard St. David on the upcoming Below Deck season 12 is hopefully a better experience. Having taken some time off after his first season on the series to visit family in Montana and experience the US, the Scottish Deckhand is surely happy to have the experience of Below Deck season 11 under his belt. Now, as a seasoned Below Deck veteran, Kyle will be able to handle the drama along with his duties as a Deckhand aboard St. David .

Below Deck Med’s Natalya Scudder shuts down Kyle Viljoen and Daisy Kelliher calls her out
Below Deck Med star Natalya Scudder wasn’t here for Kyle Viljoen saying nice things about her at BravoCon.
Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht had something to say about Natalya’s reaction to it, too.
The Below Deck crew panel took place on the last day of the annual fan event with Below Deck alum Kate Chastain as the moderator.
Kate didn’t hold back putting the yachties on the spot either, including bringing up the current Below Deck Med Season 8 drama.
Natalya and Kyle are at odds over him inserting himself into her now-resolved feud with Tumi Mhlongo.
During the panel, things got tense when Natalya called out Kyle for being fake nice.
Natalya Scudder shuts down Kyle Viljoen and Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Daisy Kelliher calls her out
The Instagram account @bravobravobravobri captured the footage of Kyle trying to be nice and Natalya’s reaction. It all started with Kate basically asking Kyle to say something positive or fun about Natalya.
“Regardless of the absolute chaos Natalya and I are currently experiencing, she is a nut case in the best way. She’s really fun, very outgoing, and always brings the party to every single crew member, so I am very thankful for that,” he shared.
Despite some positive responses from Tumi and Luka Brunton, Natalya didn’t react to Kyle’s words with openness.
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I knew this was going to happen,” Natalya expressed. “I think the only reason you are being, you had the last like year to talk to me and reach out to say something positive, and you’re choosing only right now because everyone is here. You have had the whole last three days to say anything to me, could of reached out to me, could of gone through a producer.”
The Below Deck Med stew was interrupted by Daisy, who had some words for Natalya.
“Yeah, but Natalya, calm down. What’s he gonna do stand up here and diss you like,” the Below Deck Sailing Yacht star stated.
Natalya shot back, “Well, he could of said anything to me, to be honest, Daisy, and I think I knew he would be coming for me.”
Things got heated with Kyle and Natalya before Kate stepped in to shut it down, reminding the group it’s not the Below Deck Med reunion. Kate then quickly changed the subject to Luka being smoking hot.

Where do Below Deck Med’s Natalya Scudder and Kyle Viljoen stand today?
It should come as no surprise that both Natalya and Kyle confirmed they are not friends at all.
Although they used to have a brother-and-sister relationship filled with love and hate, that’s not the case anymore.
“Absolutely not,” Kyle told TV Line.
The outlet later spoke with Natalya, who agreed, saying, “We are definitely not friends.”
There’s still plenty of Below Deck Med Season 8 to play out to see what brings such a divide between Kyle Viljoen and Natalya Scudder.
As Monsters and Critics previously reported , the Below Deck Season 11 trailer dropped, revealing the OG show won’t be back until February.
That means three more months of Below Deck Med , well, if there is a reunion. Based on Kyle and Natalya’s exchange, a reunion show is definitely needed.
Below Deck Med airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo. Seasons 1-7 are streaming on Peacock .
