Dates:  20 – 28 January

Location:  Messe Düsseldorf, Germany

Miami International Boat Show

Dates:  14 – 18 February

Location: On-land part of the event is at Miami Beach Convention Center and Pride Park. In-water components of the show are at Venetian Marina, Herald Plaza, Museum Park Marina, and Yacht Haven Grande Miami

Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS)

Palm Beach International Boat Show

Dates: 21 – 24 March

Location:  West Palm Beach, Florida

Palma International Boat Show (PIBS)

Singapore Yachting Festival

Dates:  25 – 28 April

Location:  ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, Singapore

For a while, Singapore has been recognised as a pivotal gateway and hub for Asia’s marine industry. The Singapore Yachting Festival aims to strengthen the dynamic expansion of the yachting sector by offering a platform for premier yacht builders, water-sport toys, and lifestyle brands to exhibit their products to the growing interest of audiences in Singapore and across Asia.

Mediterranean Yacht Show  

Dates:  27 April – 1 May

Location: Nafplion, Greece

The next event in the calendar 2024 is the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS 2024). Hosted in the sparkling Dubai Harbour, the Dubai Yacht Show has been a regular feature in the UAE every March for the past 30 years. About the Annual Stuart Boat Show

 The largest boat show on Florida’s Treasure Coast featuring over 205 local, national and international exhibitors displaying hundreds of boats in-water and on land. Many boat brands are represented at the show, including the latest models of motor yachts, cruisers, center consoles, speedboats, sport fishing boats, and pontoons ranging in size from 12 feet to over 90 feet in length. Additional exhibits include the latest in personal watercraft, marine electronics, outboard and inboard engines, safety equipment, accessories, boat lifts, fishing gear, nautical clothing and jewelry, as well as financing and insurance companies. THE LARGEST BOAT SHOW ON THE GULF COAST

The St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show, Presented by Progressive is the largest boat show on the Gulf Coast. The annual show takes place at Duke Energy Center for the Arts Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin and Albert Whitted Park in St. Petersburg, Florida.

The show will feature an impressive lineup of powerboats and sailboats in water and on land, including a 40,000-square-foot tent housing an extensive selection of marine gear, accessories, and equipment.

This year’s boat show will be integral in providing visitors, exhibitors, and the community at large with an unforgettable event featuring more than $1.2 billion worth of yachts and accessories, including hundreds of boats ranging from 8-foot inflatables to superyachts nearly 300 feet in length. News Channel 8  has teamed up with Armature Works to bring the  33rd Annual News Channel 8 Outdoors Expo and Boat Show  to downtown Tampa. The show will span over three days, with admission free to all, and raffle giveaways all weekend!

The family-friendly event will feature the beautiful downtown Tampa skyline, ability to tour boats in the water, the Armature Works Food Hall, dog friendly outdoor space, seminars, and activities throughout the whole weekend. There will also be meet and greet opportunities with the News Channel 8 anchors.

The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the greatest boat show on the seven seas. Owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and produced by Informa Markets, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is recognized as the largest in-water boat show in the world.

Located steps from the beach in sunny South Florida, FLIBS spans nearly 90 acres across three million square feet of exhibit space that is connected by an intricate network of water and ground transportation services. This is the largest display of boats, boating products, and services on Florida’s west coast, featuring over 500 boats on land, representing over 130 manufacturers. It is also one of the most beautiful settings for a show in the country. Set on the Caloosahatchee River, exhibits wind along the river, through Centennial Park and the newly renovated Caloosa Sound Convention Center and to the east along Edwards Drive. Whether you are in the market for a boat, looking to repower or upgrade your current boat, or just want to see what’s new, you will find what you are looking for at this show.

Major in-water shows such as Miami, Cannes and Sydney confirmed their appeal, combining a plethora of offerings with undeniable public interest. For indoor shows, on the other hand, all is not well! Last year’s alarming messages following the last “Nautic de Paris” in December 2022 were unfortunately confirmed by the postponement of the French event, which will nonetheless be relaunched in a more nautical format - more river-based, to be precise - in October. The problem with this new date is that it’s on a collision course with Annapolis and Barcelona. As far as we know, the “Nautic en Seine” is being seen as a new show that seems to appeal to monohull charter companies and builders... but not to multihull manufacturers! It’s worth pointing out that the boatbuilders we’re interested in are to some extent the rainmakers when it comes to indoor events. These events are no longer immune to the kind of wide-ranging, no-holds-barred collaboration that can result in all but a boycott. The extent of this can be seen at Düsseldorf, where only Quorning Yachts is exhibiting a trimaran, with Excess content with just a simple booth. However, powercat manufacturers such as YOT and Prestige are certainly there. This lack of interest from multihull manufacturers can be explained by transport costs, and the less-than-green image of the transport itself, but also by the fact that the parade of “winter showrooms” set up during the Covid period proved so seductive that the idea is taking root for good in Europe, and in an even more permanent format in the USA. As far as the Multihulls World team is concerned, our presence on both sides of the Atlantic means that we make sure we’re attending at as many events as possible! The largest yachts attending the Monaco Yacht Show 2024

The highlight of the superyacht calendar, every year the Monaco Yacht Show attracts the latest and greatest builds from around the world. Over 20 entries in the 50-metre-plus range have already been confirmed, with the show set to return to Port Hercule from 25 to 28 September.

BOAT takes a closer look at the biggest yachts both in the port and at anchor, beginning with a behemoth from German shipyard Lürssen ...

Length : 122m Builder : Lürssen

This year's headliner is also one of the industry's latest deliveries. Kismet was handed over to her owner Shahid Khan in May 2024, who previously owned the 95.2-metre Lürssen yacht Whisper (formerly Kismet ). His new yacht reunites him with Reymond Langton Design for the interior, but the exteriors on the new build have been helmed by Nuvolari Lenard . She's now one of the world's most expensive yachts for charter , asking a staggering €3,000,000 per week with Cecil Wright & Partners . And no wonder, with a helipad, beauty salon, indoor and outdoor cinema, dance floor and gym at guests' fingertips.

Length : 90.1m Builder : Oceanco

Luiz de Basto first dreamt up Dar ' s sinuous, shark-inspired design eight years before her delivery, while seated in his Miami office overlooking Biscayne Bay. Dar features around 390 square metres of glass in her superstructure alone, not counting the doors and hull windows. Once inside, the result is said to be like floating in mid air. Standout features include an owner's deck – complete with private saloon and Jacuzzi – as well as a wellness area, with Hammam, sauna and massage room. She won Motor Yacht of the Year at the 2019 World Superyacht Awards and was recently selected to be BOAT International 's charter yacht of the week . The superyacht is making her return to the Monaco Yacht Show after first appearing in Port Hercule shortly after delivery. 

Dar is asking €208,000,000 with Large Yacht Corp .

Length : 78.4m Builder : Abeking & Rasmussen

Chandeliers, Macassar ebony furniture and custom floral panels: Amaryllis is a five-deck superyacht best known for her dazzling display of Reymond Langton -designed Art Deco decor. She can sleep twelve guests across six cabins, including an owner's cabin with a clawfoot bed, lime marble en suite and 180-degree ocean views. Standout features include a piano lounge and a cinema suite, while her beach club boasts a dedicated spa with a sauna, steam room, plunge pool and massage room. Amaryllis last underwent a major refit in 2019 and will be looking fresh on the docks during the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show. 

Amaryllis is asking €89,000,000 with Moravia Yachting .

Length : 77.8m    Builder: Amels

Tasked with a brief to "defy convention and find ways to connect with the ocean", naval architect Espen Øino and interior designer François Zuretti came together to create Energy . The design duo first worked together on Blohm & Voss ' 74.5-metre Eco , now Zeus , with Martin Francis in the 1980s. The superyacht has an impressive volume of 2,885GT which houses accommodation for 14 guests, an upper deck aft pool, a spacious gym, a large beach club with spa and a glass elevator, to name a few. She has only been used privately since new and was recently selected as BOAT International 's brokerage boat of the month .

Energy is POA with Burgess .

Length : 73.3m    Builder : SilverYachts

Dragonfly was hailed as the fastest, most fuel-efficient long-range cruiser when she was delivered in 2009, with a transatlantic range of 22 knots. Her streamlined exterior and elongated bow sprung from the boards of Espen Øino , while her rich, ambient interiors are by Danielo Silvestrin . Dragonfly 's outdoor cinema, large sunpad that can convert into a dance floor and swim platform – dubbed the "ultimate toy launchpad" by the broker – are the major crowd pleasers. She was also commended for her contribution to the disaster relief effort in Vanuatu after Hurricane Pam devastated the island in 2015.

Dragonfly is asking €27,000,000 with Y.CO .

Planet Nine

Length : 73.2m Builder: Admiral - The Italian Sea Group

Admiral's Planet Nine boasts an ice-classed steel hull, a range of 6,000 nautical miles and a bold, militaristic exterior by British designer Tim Heywood . Her interiors were custom built by German luxury outfitter Fitz and feature accommodation for up to 16, including an owner's suite with balconies and a VIP cabin with a private outdoor space on the bridge deck. Exterior and interior relaxation options are also plentiful, including a large beach club designed for use in both warm and cool climates and a sundeck spa pool. Planet Nine recently underwent a comprehensive refit and is best known to the public for her starring role in Christopher Nolan's time-bending thriller Tenet . She will be the largest explorer yacht attending the Monaco Yacht Show.

Planet Nine is asking €79,500,000 with Fraser .

Length : 62m Builder : Viareggio Superyachts (VSY)

Another Espen Øino design, Sealion accommodates 12 guests across six cabins, including an owner's suite with a raised layout for panoramic views and"spa-like features", including a Jacuzzi tub. Meanwhile, a cinema room in the skylounge and her two-level sundeck – complete with a bar, Jacuzzi, sunpads and mist options – are ready to entertain guests. The superyacht's previous name, Candyscape II,  alludes to her eclectic interiors courtesy of Candy & Candy studio . Highlights include a spectacular Schimmel glass grand piano in the main saloon and an ornate glass lift that links the lower deck to the bridge deck. She was recently selected as BOAT International 's charter yacht of the week .

Sealion is POA with Denison Yachting .

Length : 61.5m Builder : Sanlorenzo

Making an appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024, Lemon Tree was delivered in 2021 as the first Sanlorenzo 62Steel. What sets this superyacht apart is her owner's cabin, fitted with a private deck and pool and an adjoining sky lounge, which can be converted into a family cinema. Another highlight of this yacht is the large Hammam and beach club, which has openings on three sides and a glass ceiling that filters natural light through the pool. Accommodation is for a party of 14 guests in seven cabins – one of which can be turned into a massage room.

Lemon Tree is asking €59,500,000 with Y.CO .

Length : 60m Builder : Amels

Entourage won big this year, cinching a BOAT International Design & Innovation Award and a Neptune at the World Superyacht Awards . While the first hull in the series, Come Together , features distinctive geometric windows, the design team customised this second Amels 60 with long strips of glazing that allow additional light into the interior. Another noteworthy design choice is the extended bridge deck and sundeck which, first requested by the owner, has now been implemented in all subsequent builds. It was this "fantastic evolution" that swayed the judges, though they were also impressed by Entourage 's clever use of space, including her optimised storage.

Entourage is available to charter with Moran Yacht & Ship from €435,000 per week.

Length : 60m Builder : Lürssen

Another World Superyacht Awards winner, Caipirinha picked up the coveted Motor Yacht of the Year Award in 2010. She was designed by Espen Øino and Mark Berryman and has a "versatile" layout, according to the broker – including a formal saloon that can be converted to a cinema via a hidden screen and projector. Other highlights include a formal dining room for 14 guests and a sundeck arranged with a Jacuzzi, a gym, an onyx-topped bar and a casual lounge area. This is not her first yacht show appearance, but her German pedigree and impressive design credentials will make her worth a visit in Monte Carlo during the boat show. 

Caipirinha is asking $59,990,000 with Burgess . 

Pink Shadow

Length : 58m Builder : Damen Yachting

Delivered last summer, Pink Shadow is an eye-catching new entry in the SUV (Sports Utility Vessel) sector and the first unit in the Dutch shipyard's 58M Xplorer series. The superyacht is widely known for her richly coloured, eclectic Design Unlimited interiors, inspired by the Amazonian adventure-drama Fitzcarraldo . Highlights include a crocodile-teeth table, neon wall hangings and "The Habana Room", an upper deck cigar lounge made complete with a bespoke humidor. However, it was her fun, multi-functional exterior that won her a BOAT International Design & Innovation Award earlier this year. 

Diamond Binta

Length : 58m Builder : Tankoa Yachts

This full-custom superyacht was launched in late June, making her one of the newest entries on this list of yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024. Diamond Binta was designed by long-time collaborator Francesco Paszkowski Design for a repeat Tankoa client, who previously owned the 50-metre Binta D'Or (now Sp1 ). Leisure highlights include a forward helideck, a large beach club with a spa and a sundeck set up with a gym and pool. A glass-encased corridor stretches from the beach club to the cabins directly through the engine room, offering a glimpse at the inner workings of the superyacht.

Kylie Jenner sweety snuggled her son during a sunset boat ride in Italy on Friday.

The Kylie Cosmetics creator, 26, shared the adorable mother-son moment on her Instagram Story, which showed her holding Aire, 2, on her hip. She kissed his forehead several times as their boat sped along the Italian coast.

Jenner wore a simple outfit of jeans and a cropped white T-shirt, while her son rocked a white tee and green pants.

Aire, who is the younger brother of 6-year-old Stormi, appeared to be wearing the same pants when he was on a stroll with his mom in Venice earlier this week.

Stormi also tagged along for the outing and looked precious in a white tank top and denim skirt. She rocked a strappy sandal on one foot and a black boot on another for an unknown injury.

Their famous mother, meanwhile, looked effortlessly chic in a summery denim midi dress by Marni ($1,250). She paired it with casual clear flip-flops.

The family of three was joined by Jenner’s longtime BFF Stassi Karanikolaou, who held onto one of Aire’s hands as Jenner took hold of the other to playfully swing him in the air.

When is the Democratic National Convention? What to know about DNC 2024 in Chicago

The Republican National Convention is currently underway in Milwaukee, where former President Donald Trump formally accepted the party's nomination on Monday and announced Ohio Sen. JD Vance as his running mate.

For Democrats, all eyes are on Chicago where the Democratic National Convention will occur next month. President Joe Biden has so far withstood calls for him to step aside following his disastrous debate performance against Trump , as he's attempted to shore up support with a series of interviews and public appearances .

Here's what we know about the 2024 Democratic National Convention.

When is the 2024 DNC?

The DNC will be held from August 19 and run through August 22.

Where is the 2024 DNC?

The 2024 DNC will be held in Chicago. This is the first time the convention will be held there since 1996, when former President Bill Clinton was nominated for his second term.

What happens at the DNC?

Delegates for the Democratic Party will travel to the DNC to officially nominate the Democratic presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2024 election. Delegates  from each state and U.S. territory will vote based on their primary election results.

Will Joe Biden remain the nominee?

As of now, President Joe Biden is the expected presidential nominee. Biden said only "the Lord almighty" could convince him to step down and let another Democrat assume the role. While delegates typically support the candidate who won their party's primary, they are only obligated to support that candidate in "good conscience" and could vote for another candidate even with Biden still in the race.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll last week found that  one in three registered Democratic voters  believed that Biden should quit the race, with 59% of respondents in the president's party saying he is too old to work in government.

Who are the other options?

Marianne Williamson is technically still in the race after unsuspending her campaign in late February. However, she has received zero delegates . Rep. Dean Phillips (D- MN) dropped out after Super Tuesday, receiving four delegates overall.

Many have also suggested that Vice President Kamala Harris to step in as the nominee. California Gov. Gavin Newsom , Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker have all also been floated as possible replacements. However, they're all  Biden supporters and campaign surrogates who are working to help get him reelected.
