55m Feadship Kahalani for sale for first time
The 55-metre motor yacht Kahalani has been listed for sale with Alex Lees-Buckley of Camper & Nicholsons . She has been privately owned by one owner since new.
Built to Lloyd's class in the Netherlands in 2010 by Feadship , the steel and aluminium superyacht was designed by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects with an interior by renowned Paris-based Rémi Tessier.
Accommodation is laid out for 11 guests across six cabins, but could easily be increased to a party of 12. There are quarters for a crew of 13. Kahalani benefits from having two large saloons, the bridge deck saloon unusually being full beam. Tessier's contrasting light and dark finishes make for a spectacularly clean and contemporary look throughout the interior.
The generously-sized sundeck sports a Jacuzzi, full bar and completely sheltered dining for 12. The bridge deck offers indoor-outdoor formal dining at a large circular table for 12, thanks to semi-circular glass sliding doors. These doors lead out to plentiful seating and lounging areas. The main deck aft has built-in seating while stairs lead to the swimming platform and watersports store with a side staircase.
The broker pointed out that Kahalani has had the same captain and wife/purser team and chief engineer since new, and has been meticulously maintained without compromise. She is also the family's second Feadship, drawing on their knowledge to develop the yacht's design and detailing during construction, with no expense spared.
The 891GT yacht for sale is MCA compliant and has a cruising speed of 12 knots, topping out at 15 knots. Range is 5,600 nautical miles at 11 knots and her twin Caterpillar 1,500hp engines have just a little over 4,000 hours on them.
Kahalani is asking €42,500,000. VAT is paid.

Camper & Nicholsons International has been appointed worldwide exclusive sales agent for Kahalani , a 2010 custom Feadship that’s being offered for sale for the first time.
Kahalani has an exterior done in-house by Feadship’s DeVoogt, with interiors by Remi Tessier in Paris. Accommodations are for 11 guests in six staterooms, with separate quarters for 13 crew.
According to the brokerage house: “No expense was spared in the development and construction of this yacht, and few have been built to such exacting standards and detailed design.”
The main engines are showing a little more than 4,000 hours, with only light use in the Mediterranean throughout the yacht’s life.
Amenities include a full-beam bridge salon in addition to the main salon, a sundeck hot tub and bar, and sundeck and bridge-deck dining.
Is Kahalani built to the MCA standard? Yes, which means the yacht’s new owner can offer it for charter.

The test launch of sailing yachts in the water area of Yuzhny port, which is 1 km wide and has an overall area of about 14 hectares, has become the first step in this direction. When relevant infrastructure construction is coordinated and complete, Moscow residents will have an alternative seasonal water route from southern and south-eastern districts of the city to the central, northern and north-western parts of the capital. Provided the permission is granted, one will be able to follow the river route to Kazan and even Ufa. Thus, last year river cruise named Golden Ring that starts at South River Terminal, goes on through the waters of Nizhny Novgorod and then back through North River Terminal, was revived.  The trip on August 20 took place in the immediate vicinity of the business class city area named Portland that is currently under construction. In addition to housing, there will be a 400-metre long “creative” embankment featuring a pier for electric water taxis, a pontoon pool, various sports facilities and playgrounds.
