FORCE BLUE yacht is Bernie Eccelstone’s $20 Million superyacht. The striking yacht was delivered in 2002 from the Danish shipyard, Royal Denship, and features interior design from Rune Design, Laura Sessa Romboli, and Celeste Dell`Anna.

The sticking exterior of the yacht was developed by Tom Fexas Yacht Design and Ole Steen Knudsen.

The vessel is perfectly designed for entertainment on the water, with plenty of family-friendly spaces for a true superyacht lifestyle experience.

The interior of the FORCE BLUE yacht features magnificent designs from Rune Design, Laura Sessa Romboli , and Celeste Dell`Anna .

The vessel has accommodation for 12 guests in 6 cabins one VIP cabin, three double cabins, and one twin cabin.

There are crew accommodations for 17 crew members. The superyacht is packed with luxury features, from a well-appointed library that offers a relaxing spot, the movie theatre to wind down after a long day, or the dance floor where guests can dance the night away.

The extravagance continues in a full spa with a sauna and a dip in the jacuzzi. The spa includes a hammam, mud bath, and sauna pool.

There is also a gym for guests to catch a workout. The FORCE BLUE is packed with water toys for fun on the water.

These toys include a collection of towable toys, diving equipment, a sea bob, paddleboards, and much more. The FORCE BLUE yacht is also wheelchair friendly.

She features extensive exterior spaces for the perfect event charter and has a light and refreshing interior that guests can enjoy.

FORCE BLUE is the perfect yacht to hold events on as the aft bridge deck has a full bar and reception area for 60 guests.

The exterior of the FORCE BLUE yacht was designed by Tom Fexas Yacht Design and Ole Steen Knudsen .

She features a royal blue steel hull in a white aluminum superstructure. Her hull is a full displacement hull, making her more stable while at anchor.

She was first built in 2002 by the Danish shipyard, Royal Denship. She later went through a refit at the beginning of 2022.

She was built as a part of Royal Densip’s expedition series, which include the yachts, TURMOIL, and BIG ARON. The shape of the yacht is a trawler expedition-style for adventure purposes.

FORCE BLUE yacht specifications

The FORCE BLUE yacht has a length of 63.3m, a beam of 11.38m, and a draft of 2.95m. She has a displacement of 1325 gross tons and is fitted with twin Caterpillar engines .

She comfortably cruises at 14 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots.

She has a range of up to 8000 nautical miles. She features an onboard stabilization system that ensures comfort for guests while at sea.

Flavio Briatore’s Force Blue superyacht ends up at auction

Seized in 2010 for tax evasion, Briatore’s Force Blue superyacht will be auctioned in late January

, between the search for a new owner and the announcement of a final verdict that has been awaited for over a decade.

Actually, the legal issues related to Flavio Briatore ‘s superyacht , seized in 2010 off the coast of La Spezia, seemed to be resolved with the limitation on appeal. The boat, however, has remained in the care of the judicial guardian and will be put up for sale on January 27th , before the Supreme Court expresses itself in this regard: the hearing is set for February 12th.

The reasons why the Force Blue will be auctioned (the auction is authorized by the Appeal Court of Genoa) would be represented by the potential loss of the superyacht overall value and the management of maintenance costs, deemed too high by the keeper. A difficulty that would have worsened last year due to the lockdown, which inevitably interrupted the charter activities, however authorized on board the Force Blue since May 2010, when the Italian Financial Police seized the boat in the waters of La Spezia.

The boat, built by Royal Denship in 2002, is 62 meters long, has three decks and weighs 1,325 tons . It is owned by Briatore’s Autumn Sailing society and is one among the 100 largest superyachts in the world, as well as one among the most famous boats belonging to VIPs.

What is striking is the fact that the sale will take place two weeks before the final decision by the Supreme Court, which could return the pleasure boat to the Italian businessman or confirm the seizure. if the boat has already passed into the hands of the new owner, Briatore would only be entitled to a cash compensation . We’ll see. What is certain is that the long journey of the Force Blue is now coming to an end.

Former F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone bought Flavio Briatore’s £18m yacht for bargain £6.6m after it’s seized by police

FORMER Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone treated himself to his old mate Flavio Briatore's yacht.

The stunning 63-metre Force Blue became available for auction last year, after Briatore was convicted of not paying the VAT.

And Ecclestone , 91, couldn't resist grabbing himself a bargain, picking up the yacht for a snip at £6.6m - despite his mate having originally paid £68.2m for it.

Briatore, 72, who previously owned QPR alongside Ecclestone - was found to have not paid around £3m in VAT on the boat between 2006 and 2010 - as well as around £700,000 in fuel duties.

The yacht, the 78th biggest on the planet, initially became available for charter in the Mediterranean, before the court decided to sell up at auction.

And according to Italian reports , Ecclestone snapped it up for just £6.6m - despite it being valued these days at around £17.5m.

Able to house 12 guests, Force Blue possesses luxury features including a spa, gym and Jacuzzi to relax in - as well as a cinema and disco room if Bernie fancies a boogie.

Perhaps Bernie will be able to share the yacht with his kids, having become a father again at 89 with wife Fabiana..

And if he has his way, there could be more offspring yet .

He told SunSport last year: "Fabiana said she wanted a ­family, and I told her, ‘That’s no problem for me. Half a dozen kids is great’."

On being a father again, he added: "I am really happy. When I had the girls in the first place, obviously I was much younger.

“But also I was more worried about running a business than running around after them.

"Now I have more time on my hands and I hope I can spend it with my son as he grows up. I don’t know if we will stop here. Perhaps he should have a little brother or sister.

"Do I take anything? No! Fabiana gives me some tablets — vitamin D — but I don’t take anything else."

Briatore, who also knows Ecclestone from his days as Renault F1 chief, was rushed to hospital in 2020 after testing positive for Covid-19.

Briatore's explorer yacht Force Blue still for charter, discount offered

Following the news that  Flavio Briatore is appealing a tax fraud conviction  over use of 63.22 metre  Force Blue ,  Fraser Yachts  has clarified the situation for current and forthcoming charter enquiries and bookings.

" Force Blue  was originally seized on 20 May 2010 and legal proceedings are ongoing and have not yet come to a final conclusion," a spokesman for Fraser Yachts told  Boat International .  " Force Blue  has been authorised by the court to carry out charter activities during this period and charters are continuing without interference and very successfully."

Force Blue  is now available for charter in the West Med from August 31 with a reduced rate of €195,000 per week, down from the peak price of €245,000 per week.

Delivered by the Royal Denship yard in 2002 and refitted in 2009,  Force Blue  enjoys a reputation as a multi-faceted charter yacht.

Although classed as an explorer yacht, she has a palatial interior by Celeste dell’Anna giving her all the amenities of a five star hotel. Twelve guests can take their ease in six generous cabins consisting of a master suite on the main deck with a spa pool while below lie a VIP suite, three doubles and a twin convertible to a double, all with entertainment centres and full en suite bathroom facilities.

An experienced crew of 19 include a masseuse/beautician and guests are encouraged to take full advantage of the extensive on board spa facilities including a steam shower, Hammam, mud bath, sauna, Jacuzzi, hydro massage and a massage room. This yacht for charter also features a fully equipped gymnasium, a cinema and an elevator between decks.

The vast deck spaces aboard Force Blue come into their own during static charters at Mediterranean events such as the Monaco Grand Prix and Cannes Film Festival where she can host receptions for up to 350 guests at a time. In addition, the upper aft deck can offer al fresco dining for up to 60 guests. After dinner, this deck can be transformed into a nightclub with a professional DJ station, neon strobe lights and a full sound system.

Force Blue is available for charter through Fraser Yachts.

Hanging up his gloves is out of the question for the successful entrepreneur. At the head of a multitude of thriving companies, Flavio Briatore symbolises the European self-made man – which probably explains why the business leader has again been chosen to play the “boss” in the Italian version of the reality show The Apprentice .

“ I was born poor ,” he says, starting out as a ski instructor, before running a restaurant and then joining the Milan Stock Exchange. He says it was while strolling along the quays in Monaco as a young man that his entrepreneurial spirit was born, as he looked at the yachts lined up below the Rock.

Briatore was taken on by Benetton in the early 1980s, and helped the Italian ready-to-wear brand break through in America. Successfully so as we know, as Benetton became a world-famous brand in just a few years.

A legend in F1 circles

It was with Luciano Benetton that the businessman attended his first Formula 1 Grand Prix, in Australia in 1988. Briatore was subsequently appointed Commercial Director and then Director of the Benetton Formula team, becoming a central figure in the paddocks.

A businessman to the core, Briatore bought the French Ligier team, forming closer ties with Renault. In 1996, he took the Scuderia Minardi under his wing. Briatore moved to Renault in the early 2000s and continued to build his legendary status, helping Fernando Alonso to his first and last world titles in 2005 and 2006.

After more than a decade away from the track, following a decision by the FIA (International Automobile Federation) that was finally overturned by the French courts, Briatore made his return to the paddocks in the early 2020s.

In 2022, saying that he felt like he’d “ never left”  the world of motor racing, he was appointed F1 ambassador, in charge of developing business partnerships. A return to favour for the F1 fan, who seems to have found a role that is tailor-made for his exceptional talents as a salesman.

His job description: “to look after the sponsors, (…) to work on developing Grands Prix in new countries and the entertainment alongside the races”, he sums up. In short, “Everything I know how to do (…) But you should always do what you’re good at, right? ” he told the Monegasque press with a hint of mischief.

“ Happy and honoured to be able to continue to help with the commercial development of F1,” a sport he “loves deeply” , Flavio Briatore takes his new ambassadorial role seriously.

Always in the front row, with the eye and insights people come from all over to consult.  “ Formula 1 has changed in recent years, ” the former Renault F1 Team boss told Sport Bild recently: “the races are more exciting thanks to the new cars. But the environment is different too. All the entertainment for sponsors and special guests is good, but I want to use my experience to raise the bar even higher.”

The Monaco nightspot king

Raising the bar is something he knows all about. Far from settling for a well-deserved retirement, or even with his new role as a luxury F1 sales rep, Flavio Briatore is undoubtedly one of the most active ‘pensioners’ in the Monegasque ecosystem. One might even say hyperactive, judging by the number of businesses he is running at the same time. On the track by day; on the dance floor by night. The leitmotif: celebration, luxury, excellence.

Launched in 1997 in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, the Billionaire nightclub concept was an immediate success – yet again. Incredibly select and reserved for a hand-picked clientele, the concept of “ entertainment dining ” combines a gourmet dinner and top-flight entertainment.

The unusual formula appealed to the jet-set, to the point that Flavio Briatore’s cabaret nights were quickly exported to Dubai, Doha, Riyadh – where Billionaire was elected “Best Restaurant in Saudi Arabia” in 2022 . Or Saint-Moritz, Switzerland, where a Billionaire event is scheduled in December, in the prestigious setting of the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski.

Briatore has partnered with the Société des Bains de Mer (SBM) to bring his Billionaire brand to the Principality. Another photo opportunity with Prince Albert II and many celebrities who were won over by the dinner-show concept imagined by Monaco’s jack-of-all-trades.

Like Flavio Briatore himself, who can often be seen wearing Billionaire Couture pieces. Eclectic, uninhibited and sporty at heart, the businessman even owned the English football club Queens Park Rangers at one point, before selling it in 2011.

But it is in restaurants and clubs that this eternal night owl seems to thrive the most – after all, wasn’t his first business a restaurant?

The Briatore group, now renamed Majestas, has many brands in the sector. Twiga is one, another club-restaurant concept that is proving a big hit all over the world: in Monte Carlo, of course, where party people can dance to the famous DJ Bob Sinclar, but also in Miami, Dubai, Doha, London and, most recently, in the Italian town of Ventimiglia .

Italian by birth, Flavio Briatore also launched his own chain of pizzerias, Crazy Pizza . Located in London, Porto Cevo, Monaco and Rome, the businessman’s restaurants are all about fresh, “homemade” products: the tomato sauce is prepared on site, the mozzarella too, and the pizzaiolos spin the dough – without yeast, for lightness – in front of the delighted customers.

An entrepreneur to the core

The Majestas group also runs Cova and Cipriani under licence. The former, owned by the world leader in luxury LVMH, specialises in Italian pastries, or pasticceria . A veritable Milanese institution, synonymous with tradition and good taste, of which Briatore manages two premises within the Principality. According to him, they have become “an essential address and a benchmark” for Monegasque gourmets.

Thanks to all of its establishments in six countries and the dedication of over 1,100 employees, the Majestas group, of which Briatore holds half of the shares, generated turnover of 80 million euros in 2022, establishing itself as an undisputed leader in the luxury restaurant, hotel and events industry.

It’s easy to see why Flavio Briatore’s list of successful projects is so impressive: it’s because he’s an entrepreneur to the core.

Often held up as an example to young people who also want to set out on the adventure, the Monegasque resident is not stingy with advice – he even published a book in 2017, entitled Sulla ricchezza , “On wealth”.

Reminding us that he is “ a prime example of a person who is born poor but who built his wealth by working ,” the Italian businessman willingly shares the recipe for his success : “ you have to have a clear idea and know the market well ,” he told Wall Street Italia , then “y ou need to have a very strict roadmap and follow it from point A to point Z. (…) All our brands are born with the same philosophy, which is, first, a strong and loyal team. That is the key to success. As far as catering is concerned, the secret lies in the service. If the service is excellent, the customer will be satisfied. (…) Secondly, we must always seek to improve and renew ourselves and not take success for granted.”

Putting other first

This doesn’t stop Briatore from enjoying his success. With 1.4 million followers, his Instagram account bears witness to the businessman’s luxurious lifestyle, with private jets, big cars and one paradisiac destination after the other – often in the company of his son, Nathan Falco , from his relationship with model Elisabetta Gregoraci.

With an estimated fortune of 200 million dollars, Flavio Briatore is also the proud owner of a fabulous villa in Monte Carlo, filled with works of art and luxurious furniture.

Wealth that, in addition to his famous female conquests, creates jealousy and attracts criticism… which he quickly dismisses : “people haven’t understood that it is businesses and investments that create wealth. I’ve never seen a poor person create jobs, but they take it out on the wealthy,” he told mediawebchannel.it.

Has success made Flavio Briatore lose his sense of reality? On the contrary, if we believe his various commitments and stances in favour of the underprivileged or local communities. Comme l'indique VesselFinder , un site spécialisé dans le suivi en direct des navires du monde entier, le Force Blue et ses airs de chalutiers est au mouillage depuis ce dimanche, en provenance de Monaco. Un bateau initialement long de 63 mètres que l'homme d'affaires italien a possédé à partir de 2009 avant de le voir être saisi par la justice italienne en 2010 . En cause? Des soupçons de fraude fiscale. 

12 années de procès

Pour la police, l'affaire était entendue, Flavio Briatore en était avec ses proches l'unique utilisateur et non un simple locataire. Le bateau, qui battait alors pavillon des îles Caïmans, appartenait à une société des Iles Vierges britanniques, qui le louait à l'homme d'affaires. Mais selon les enquêteurs , il était lui-même le propriétaire de la société, et donc du yacht.

En raison du régime fiscal favorable aux embarcations destinées à la location, Flavio Briatore avait été condamné en appel en 2018 pour avoir indûment épargné plus de 3,6 millions d'euros de TVA à l'importation et plus de 800.000 euros de taxes sur le carburant entre 2006 et 2010.

Finalement, en janvier 2022, le flamboyant patron italien, habitué de la Côte d'Azur et dont le fils Falco a vu le jour à Nice, a obtenu gain de cause et a été blanchi.   "Aujourd'hui, après 12 années et 6 procès, mon innocence a enfin été reconnue. Un vrai calvaire est heureusement terminé" , avait-il confié à l'agence de presse italienne Adnkronos.

Dans l'affaire, il a toutefois perdu son bateau , vendu à vil prix. Estimé à 20 millions d'euros, le yacht a été vendu aux enchères par l'Etat début 2021 pour 7 millions d'euros à Bernie Ecclestone, l'ancien patron de la Formule 1 et proche de Flavio Briatore.

De 330.000 à 350.000 euros la semaine

Construit en 2002 par Royal Denship, le bateau a subi un important refit en 2022, comprenant notamment une extension de sa longueur de 63 à 70 mètres. German model Heidi Klum split up with Italian billionaire Flavio Briatore while she was pregnant with his child.

By the time she gave birth to her daughter, Leni, she was going out with pop star Seal, who later became Leni’s adoptive father.

When Briatore, now 73, was asked about his relationship with Leni seven years ago, he told an Italian newspaper: ‘It’s hard to miss a baby you never see.’

Now, however, he appears keen to make up for lost time as Leni, 19,  has been enjoying a holiday aboard his yacht in Monaco with Flavio. 

The pair were Joined by her half brother Nathan Falco Briatore, 13, from Flavio's marriage to actress Elisabetta Gregoraci.

The father and daughter have been photographed looking close as they chatted and laughed together, but their relationship has not always been so solid.

Heidi and Italian Formula One manager Flavio first went public with their relationship in March 2003.

The German-American model announced her pregnancy just months later in December 2003, but while she was expecting, the couple went their separate ways.

While she was still pregnant, Heidi started dating musician Seal and she then welcomed her daughter Leni in May 2004 in New York.

Flavio later told how he was living in London during the early years of Leni's life whereas Heidi was in Los Angeles, describing the distance as 'unbridgeable'. 

Leni was officially adopted by Seal when she was five years old, and she changed her name to Helene Samuel - the singer's surname. 

She now goes by her mother's surname and is known as Leni Olumi Klum in her professional modelling life and on her Instagram page.

Flavio told how they all 'calmly' agreed that it made sense for Seal to adopt Leni so she could 'grow up in a family'.

'The three of us calmly agreed that it made the most sense that he adopt her, because a child needs to grow up in a family,' Flavio told Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera  in 2016.

Heidi and Seal went their separate ways in 2012 and their divorce was finalised two years later.

The couple share three children - Lou, 12, Henry, 16, and Johan, 14 - and Seal has maintained a very close relationship with Leni  since their split.

Twelve years after Heidi gave birth to Leni, Flavio told how he 'never' sees his daughter and said that makes it 'hard' to miss her. 

Former Renault F1 team manager Flavio, who has a son Nathan with his ex-wife Elisabetta Gregoraci, added: 'Heidi, Seal and I have built an amazing relationship.

'It's hard to miss a baby that you never see. But I know that Leni is not an abandoned child. Leni is part of Seal's family and Nathan is part of mine.'

He went on to explain that he used to speak to his daughter for two hours on the phone each day, but that it 'wasn't enough'.

'Leni was born when Heidi and I had already spilt. Heidi was living in Los Angeles and I was in London, the distance between us was unbridgeable,' he said.

'We used to speak on the phone two hours a day, but it wasn't enough. She needed to stay with her mum.'

While Flavio lived in London, Leni grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Pacifica Christian High School in 2022.

She reunited with her biological father in August 2018, with reports at the time claiming they had met up in Italy in late July of that year.

TMZ  published photographs of the father and daughter spending time together at the Cala di Volpe hotel in Porto Cervo after years apart.

Heidi and her three other children were reportedly also present, and Leni and Flavio were seen embracing as they appeared to be rebuilding their relationship.

Little is known about their relationship in recent years as they keep things relatively private, but they have been seen together on a number of occasions more recently.

In recent weeks, Leni has been enjoying a sun-soaked holiday with her boyfriend Aris Rachevsky on her billionaire father Flavio's luxury yacht.

She has been seen spending quality time with her father as they have travelled around Italy and France on the lavish vessel.

The pair have been photographed  looking close as they chatted and spent quality time together on a beach trip in Italy earlier this week.

The father and daughter appear to have rebuilt their relationship after years of absence and estrangement, and now sweetly appear to have a close bond.

Flavio Briatore Reveals Alpine Future Amid Sales Rumors

Alpine executive advisor Flavio Briatore has revealed that parent company Renault has no plans to sell the F1 team, despite the challenges it endures at present, including the shutdown of 2026 engine operations at its Viry-Chatillon factory.

Renault CEO Luca de Meo enlisted the controversial former team boss, Flavio Briatore, to revitalize Alpine and restore its status as a podium contender. Despite the challenges posed by the A524 F1 car's underpowered power unit, Briatore is committed to returning the team to its winning ways within a few years.

In his first media briefing since joining Alpine in June, Briatore spoke at the Dutch Grand Prix, stating that his "realistic" goal is for the team to "secure some podiums by 2027." Thus, with a plan being drafted for the future, he explained that Renault was in no way interested in selling Alpine. He told BBC.com :

"Something is very clear. Nothing is for sale.

"Luca de Meo doesn't want to sell the team. Question finito [finished]."

However, Renault is contemplating the possibility of ending its F1 engine program, which began in 1977, and transitioning the team into a customer outfit that could purchase Mercedes engines starting in 2026. Briatore hinted at this option, noting that Renault has struggled to keep pace with its power-unit competitors since the introduction of hybrid engines in 2014. He said:

"The problem is the evidence. But whatever our chairman decides is fine with me."

Although Briatore has significant influence over key managerial decisions, he clarified that the proposal to shut down Renault's Formula 1 engine factory in Viry-Chatillon, near Paris, was not his idea. This decision is currently under consideration by the Renault board and is expected to be finalized next month. He added:

"I'm not the bad guy all the time.

"Everything else you can blame on me, but not this."

However, the 74-year-old Italian stated that Alpine's UK base in Enstone "didn’t need so many people," while simultaneously making it clear that he does not wish to "cut jobs." He stressed the importance of having a team of highly experienced and efficient individuals.

Briatore is likely looking for the right people, as he does not blame the management for the series of exits announced last year, including those of CEO Laurent Rossi, team principal Otmar Szafnauer, sporting director Alan Permane, and chief technical officer Pat Fry, suggesting that the "problem of Alpine was no management - they chose a few wrong managers."

Last month, team principal and director of the junior team Hitech GP, Oliver Oakes, was appointed as Alpine's new team principal, with his predecessor Bruno Famin returning to work in Viry. Briatore praised Oakes as "enthusiastic, young, and ambitious." Despite his lack of F1 experience, a series of interviews convinced Briatore that Oakes was the right choice. Suggesting upcoming staff changes and modifications to the managerial structure, Briatore added:

"We need to clear up the house. You need the home clean to make sure everyone is working together. You need to motivate everyone."
