A complete break down of Ian and Lil Yachty's new single 'Hate Me'

U pcoming rapper Ian O'Neill Smith, who recently released his debut mixtape titled Valedictorian, has teamed up with Lil Yachty for a new single Hate Me which was distributed to all major streaming platforms last Friday.

The record was first previewed by Kai Cenat, on his Twitch livestream, in the weeks leading up to its release. Almost two weeks before Hate Me was distributed to fans, Yachty posted a teaser for the song on social media.

The post on Boat's official X (formerly Twitter) account included still shots of him and Ian in what appeared to be the song's upcoming music video . His caption hinted at the lyrics and themes that would appear on the duo's upcoming track.

Lil Yachty and Ian's Hate Me was uploaded to all major streaming platforms on July 26, 2024, via Quality Control Music, under an exclusive license to UMG Recordings and Motown Records.

Karrahbooo has broken her silence after Lil Yachty blasted her in a heated Instagram rant , claiming he had written all of the former Concrete Boys artist’s songs. 

Despite previously hinting at an amicable split, Yachty lost it after a fan alleged Karrahbooo accused the group of bullying her and said they kicked her out. 

Yachty also accused her of verbally abusing people and claimed she’s $900,000 in debt to him in a lengthy tirade. After putting her on blast, he leaked a supposed reference track for her viral On the Radar freestyle .  

On Friday night (August 23) Karrrahbooo responded to Lil Yachty. While she didn’t deny he wrote for her, she insisted she penned some herself. She posted a screenshot of her Top. 3 most popular songs with the On the Radar freestyle in third position after “Running Late” racking up over seven million plays and “WHERE YO DADDY?” just over three million. 

“put it on yo kid i ain’t write these songs miles,” Karrahbooo wrote, addressing Lil Yachty by her born name. “stop da cap and leave me out ur internet shenanigans [crying laughing emoji]. Referencing the viral rumor, she added, “stop bullying me big dawg [crying laughing emoji].” 

Karrrahbooo denied the fan’s claims and told him to “man up” and stop believing rumors. “i never said nothing,” she insisted. “u letting random fans get in yo head.” 

Lil Yachty Claims Karrahbooo Is $900,000 In Debt To Concrete Boys

During his tirade, Yachty took credit for writing “every verse you’ve done,” and claimed Karrahbooo left the label “$900,000 “in the hole.” 

“I changed your muthafuckin life!” he said. “And you are here lying, talking about some ‘We bully you’. That s### got me f##### up, bro.”

The rant was a far cry from his previous remarks concerning the split.   

“We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete s###,“ he said last month. “I have nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career.”

Lil Yachty Blasts Karrahbooo and Mitch in Explosive Rant: ‘I've Given You a Career and… You Just Disrespect Me’

The explosive IG Live comes after Karrahboo left Concrete Boys.

An explosive impromptu Instagram Live from Lil Yachty saw the Atlanta artist slam his A Safe Place podcast cohost Mitch and former Concrete Boys signee Karrahboo.

Yachty began by addressing Karrahboo and all of the rumors swirling after it was revealed that she's no longer part of Concrete Boys.

Yachty claimed Karrah “verbally abused” people:

“Don’t get on here and make a scene ‘bout n****s kicked you out,” he said, referring to her sudden (at least to fans) departure from his rap collective Concrete Boys.

Yachty further claimed he wrote all of her lyrics (including her breakout Rap Radar appearance, of which he leaked a supposed reference track for), gave her money, gifted her with jewelry, and styled her.

“I slowed the beat down, I put 808s specifically on your verse so when it got to your part and the beat dropped, everyone would be like, ‘this girl is the craziest one,’” he said in reference to their Rap Radar performance.

"I wrote every fucking verse you've done," Boat also claimed. "I dressed you. I dressed all five of y'all n***as bro. I dressed five n***as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y'all neck."

He continued, "We bought a Cartier watch. I gave you that chrome Rolex, bro. You was waiting tables... What are we talking about n***a? I changed your mother fucking life and you are here lying, talking about some: 'We bully you'... That shit got me fucked up, bro. You got me fucked up, bro. You disrespectful, bro. You talk to people crazy. You tell people that they are nothing. You tell people you're going to spit on them. You tell people they poor and you talk to my fucking label crazy. You claim I was stealing money..."

Yachty also claimed he is owed $900,000. “I got every receipt," he said. "$900,000 Concrete in the hole.”

Boat then addressed Mitch, claiming he only started their successful A Safe Plac e podcast at Mitch’s insistence.

Yachty's IG Live appeared after viral after clips of their podcast episode with Key Glock made the rounds. An unamused Glock can be seen looking on while Yachty admonished Mitch for not having a purpose in the past.

”Even if I was doing shit back then, I’m older now,” Mitch said when Yachty shared an alleged anecdote about Mitch wanting to get an expensive watch by brandishing a gun.

”[If] I was never in your life, what would you have been doing?” Yachty asked.

Karrahbooo Claps Back at Lil Yachty After He Claims That She Doesn’t Write Her Own Rhymes

Karrahbooo has clapped back at Lil Yachty following his angry video where he claimed that she doesn't write her own rhymes.

Karrahbooo Responds to Yachty's Claims of Her Not Writing Her Own Rhymes

On Friday (Aug. 23), Karrahbooo jumped on her Instagram Story to address Lil Yachty's accusations that she doesn't write her own rhymes. In the image below, the 27-year-old rapper, who was dropped from Lil Boat's Concrete Boys imprint , shares three songs she claimed that she penned and highlighted their streaming counts.

"Running Late," boasted over seven million streams, "Where Yo Daddy," garnered three million streams and the On the Radar Concrete Cypher freestyle hit nearly three million streams.

Karrahbooo captioned the image, "put it on yo kid i ain't these songs [M]iles[.] Stop da cap and leave me out ur internet shenanigans [tears of joy emoji]."

She also added: "Stop bullying me big dawg [tears of joy emoji] i never said nothing u letting random fans get in yo head man up."

Lil yachty goes in on karrahbooo.

Karrahbooo's response comes after Lil Yachty went on Instagram Live and blasted his former artist of disrespecting him and others on his Concrete Boys imprint.

On Thursday night (Aug. 22), Yachty addressed Karrahbooo's reported claims of being bullied during her time on Boat's label, which he denied. According to Yachty, it was Karrahbooo who was doing the bullying.

"Tell people how you talk to people," Yachty said in his fiery video below. "How you tell my security guard, 'Oh, you homeless. You work for me. You're poor. We above you.' You talk to people like they nothing...Tell people how you verbally abuse people. How you said you gon' spit on me when you see me."

"I been letting you do this whole thing where you act like you a princess and you sweet," he continued. "Stop the front, bro. We have withheld your actions since the beginning of me giving you this career. What the f**k are we talking about, bro. You don't even do nothing. It's so crazy to me, bro. ’Cause I've given you a career and time to time you just disrespect me."

Yachty went on to claim Karrahbooo is in $900,000 debt to his label as a result of not recouping with her music. The Atlanta rhymer also claimed that he wrote all of her rhymes as well.

In a fiery and unplanned Instagram Live, Lil Yachty publicly criticized his "A Safe Place" podcast cohost, Mitch, and former Concrete Boys member, Karrahboo.

Yachty began by addressing the rumors surrounding Karrahboo's departure from his rap collective, Concrete Boys. He accused her of "verbally abusing" others, responding to her exit by saying, "Don’t get on here and make a scene ‘bout n****s kicked you out."

Yachty went on to claim that he wrote all of Karrahboo's lyrics, including her breakout appearance on Rap Radar, for which he leaked a reference track. He also stated that he provided her with financial support, jewelry, and styled her entire look.

"I wrote every fucking verse you've done," Yachty alleged. "I dressed you. I dressed all five of y'all n***as bro. I dressed five n***as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y'all neck."

Yachty also made the serious accusation that Karrahboo owes him $900,000, stating, "I got every receipt. $900,000 Concrete in the hole."

He added that he had even adjusted the production of her verse to make her stand out, saying, "I slowed the beat down, I put 808s specifically on your verse so when it got to your part and the beat dropped, everyone would be like, ‘this girl is the craziest one.’”

Yachty then turned his attention to Mitch, revealing that their podcast "A Safe Place" was initiated at Mitch’s urging. This comes after clips from a podcast episode featuring Key Glock went viral, where Yachty scolded Mitch in front of an unimpressed Glock.

During the episode, Mitch responded to Yachty’s criticism of his past actions by saying, "Even if I was doing shit back then, I’m older now," Yachty then questioned, "[If] I was never in your life, what would you have been doing?”

Lil Yachty Goes Off On Rapper Karrahboo & Podcast Co-Host Mitch: ‘I Wrote Every F***ing Verse You’ve Done’

Lil Yachty   is over it.

The rapper took to Instagram live to call out his  A Safe Place  podcast co-host and rapper  Karrahboo  who was signed to his Concrete Boys label.

He first accused  Karrahboo of being verbally abusive amid speculation that she left Concrete Boys.

He added that he wrote the lyrics to all of her songs like her single “Rap Radar,” gifted her with money, brought jewelry for her and served as her stylist.

“I wrote every f*cking verse you’ve done. I dressed you. I dressed all five of y’all n***as bro. I dressed five n***as every time we stepped out the house. I put an outfit on everybody. I put eight carats of earrings on everybody ear. I put three chains on all y’all neck.”

He went on to seemingly allege that she owes him almost $1 million.

“I got every receipt. $900,000 Concrete in the hole. I slowed the beat down, I put 808s specifically on your verse so when it got to your part and the beat dropped, everyone would be like, ‘this girl is the craziest one.’”

Lil Yachty   then moved on to  Mitch  as he aired out his grievances about their podcast. He alleged he didn’t want to really do the podcast but launched it anyway after  Mitch  pressed him.

His comments come after  Lil Yachty   was criticized for remarks he made on their podcast when Key Glock  was a guest.  Lil Yachty questioned what  Mitch  was doing before they started their podcast a year ago.

Kai Cenat just gave Hip Hop fans another reason to tune into his streams. On Tuesday (July 23), the internet personality premiered an unreleased collaboration between Drake and Lil Yachty.

Although currently untitled, the track contained a sample from Mr_Hotspot’s “Goodness Gracious.” In the opening verse, the Toronto native spat, “Cleopatra at the pyramids tonight / Cinderella Benz, I got bucket seats inside / Roll a backwood with my enemies inside.”

Elsewhere, in the chorus, he rapped, “Watching the moves and playin’ it close / S.O.D., super soaked / Rainy days isn’t hers, matchin’ coat / We f**k on the jet, it feel like a boat, stayin’ afloat.” Peep the snippet at the 3 1/2-hour mark below.

The snippet was one of many that fans received from Drake in 2024. At the beginning of July, Keinemusik previewed a song with the artist during their headlining show at the Brooklyn Mirage. On Tuesday morning, Honestly, Nevermind producer Gordo confirmed the self-coined 6 God will appear on his forthcoming album, DIAMANTE , which is slated to drop on Friday (July 26).

The Grammy Award-winning rapper has kept his guest appearances fairly limited, especially coming off the heels of his rap beef with Kendrick Lamar. In June, he joined forces with Snowd4y for “Wah Gwan Delilah,” a parody of Plain White T’s 2006 hit “Hey There Delilah.” Later that month, Drake graced Camila Cabello with two features : “HOT UPTOWN” and “Uuugly.”

“I showed him the album when I felt comfortable enough, and he really liked it. [The feature] came out of a nontransactional place,” the former Fifth Harmony star said regarding the origin of their collaboration.

On the other hand, Cenat is expected to perform at Druski’s inaugural Coulda Fest on Sept. 7. The event will take place at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena and see other acts like Lil Baby and Soulja Boy take the stage.

Karrahbooo Fan Claims That Lil Yachty Bullied Her Out Of Concrete Boys

Karrahbooo shocked fans when she decided to leave Concrete Boys in July. The rapper was dubbed the first lady of Lil Yachty 's rap collective. There was widespread speculation as to what caused the split, but both Karrahbooo and Yachty kept quiet. Maybe the split was as amicable as they both said it was. A post by one of Karrahbooo's fans, however, suggested otherwise. The fan, who goes by Twitter name Moon, claimed that she spoke with the rapper and learned there was much more to the split than we thought.

The fan posted a photo alongside Karrahbooo, and claimed the rapper came in to the restaurant where she worked. Things got juicy, though, when the fan claimed that Karrahbooo opened up about the true reason why she left Concrete Boys. "I asked her why she left," the fan noted. "She immediately corrected me and said I didn't leave they kicked me out." Karrahbooo reportedly went on to lay the blame at the feet of Lil Yachty, who founded the group. "[She said] they were really mean to her and bullying her a lot. She doesn't talk about it."

Karrahbooo Was Allegedly Kicked Out Of The Group

The fan then did some reading between the lines, and inferred that there was some possible jealously on the part of Lil Yachty. "I believe it's because her name was the biggest behind Yachty," she wrote. "If we being real I only started listening to him again because of her... I told her she'll do just fine without them, f*ck 'em." This fan account is far cry from the diplomatic, albeit vague, statement that Lil Yachty made when Karrahbooo left Concrete Boys.

"I'mma say this sh*t one time," he said on Istagram Live. "We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete sh*t. I have nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career." Karrahbooo has yet to comment on her feelings toward Lil Yachty and the rest of the Concrete Boys. That being said, she previously bumped heads with Yachty during an episode of the Safe Space podcast. Karrahbooo tried to defend her use of the N-word and Yachty proceeded to shut her down in front of the host. "That won’t happen," he announced. "You shouldn’t say it." It sounds like there's more of the story to come.
