The Best Yacht To Buy In GTA Online

There is a small fleet of yachts to buy in GTA Online but one is more worth your money than the others.

There is perhaps not a clearer sign of wealth in GTA Online than owning a yacht. As in real life, a yacht is the ultimate flex of luxury in the world of Los Santos. When Rockstar Games introduced the Galaxy Super Yacht fleet, they released three different yachts for players to purchase. All three of these gigantic boats are well worth your hard-earned GTA cash, as they all boast amenities as far as the eye can see. The main differences in the yachts lie in their price and how many features they have. However, as you'll see, those features don't drift too far apart from yacht to yacht.

Since the yachts start at the sky-high price of $6 million, players have asked if going for the most expensive yacht is actually worth it or if they can get by with the least expensive. It's a similar question that players have asked in regards to cars, jets, and any other property available in the online world of Los Santos. In this guide, we'll be going over all three of the yachts in GTA Online and determining which is the best to buy based on all of the factors.

Kicking us off is The Orion, the least expensive yacht in GTA Online. Of course, the term "least expensive" is used lightly here, as The Orion still costs a whopping $6 million in GTA cash. The Orion, and the other two yachts, are equipped with a 210-foot body and the same basic outside appearance as the two more expensive Galaxy Super Yachts in the game. There's a sun deck on top for sunbathing or throwing parties but no hot tub, unfortunately. Also on the exterior is one single helipad and storage for two vehicles, the Shitzu Tropic and Speedophile Seashark jetski. On the interior, The Orion is equipped with three luxurious guest rooms. Like the rest of the yachts, you can't actually drive The Orion. What you can do is pay your captain to park it somewhere and have it ready for you when you want to come aboard at a certain location. You can also complete six A Superyacht Life missions to reduce your overall operating costs and make some money with your yacht in the process.

The one aspect of The Orion that's truly lacking is that it doesn't spawn with a helicopter and only has one helipad. While not a huge problem, the other two yachts on this list have these aspects over The Orion. If you're in the market for a yacht and can spend $6 million, then you can likely also spend another million for the next yacht on this list. This could make The Orion obsolete unless you're truly strapped for cash.

For one million more than The Orion ($7 million), you can own The Pisces. Compared to The Orion, The Pisces spawns with a helicopter and has two helipads, a hot tub, and space for five vehicles. Those vehicles are the Buckingham Swift (helicopter), Pegassi Speeder, Nagasaki Dinghy, and two Speedophile Seashark jetskis. Aside from the Speeder, the yacht will spawn with all of the aforementioned vehicles, letting you and some friends get to shore or to another location with ease. Having the extra helipad is also nice to either have a friend land on the yacht or to keep a spare in case something happens to your first.

$7 million is considered the sweet spot for the line of Galaxy Super Yachts. You'll see why when we go over the last yacht on this list.

The Aquarius

The big daddy of them all, the Aquarius is the last and most expensive yacht on this list. The final Galaxy Super Yacht of the fleet costs an eye-gouging $8 million. This makes it the most expensive piece of property you can buy in GTA Online by a country mile. The Aquarius has everything The Pisces has, including the two helipads and hot tub, but has room for seven vehicles instead of five. However, those two extra vehicles are two additional Seashark jetskis, which is really only good for if you have half a dozen friends on your yacht at the same time.

The main point of The Aquarius in GTA Online is to flex on other players. Its price point is relatively unwarranted due to the lack of amenities compared to The Pisces. However, if you're a collector of the most luxurious items in Los Santos, The Aquarius needs to be your next purchase.

The verdict

As you might have expected from the descriptions of each yacht, The Pisces is what we consider to be the best Galaxy Super Yacht in GTA Online. It features a great price point and is a huge step up from The Orion at one million dollars more. The Aquarius simply doesn't offer enough compared to The Pisces to warrant it being the best bang for your buck. Unless you truly want to show off your wealth, going with The Pisces is the best option in GTA Online.

The Aquarius Yacht is one of the Galaxy Super Yacht properties available in GTA Online.

It has been added to the game as part of the 1.31 Executives and Other Criminals update on December 15, 2015 .

This is luxury living on the water - fully staffed and packed with perks. This floating apartment isn't for driving though - enjoy the amenities while your personal captain will move you between your choice of 12 scenic ports around Los Santos and Blaine County for a fee. Not only does it look great , but there have also been quality-of-life improvements like faster loading times. Whether new or old, those who play GTA Online will spend a large amount of time looking for new vehicles regardless, which are the things that help players stand out the most. Since there's a diverse range to choose from, players have options.

One type of vehicles that gets overlooked is the boats. Players spend most of their time on land or in the air, but boats offer some entertaining gameplay elements. Because boats aren't as popular and don't have much buzz as the others do, this list should help players have an idea of the best boats to purchase, and whether they're worth the money.

5 Lampadati Toro: $1,750,000

One thing that makes GTA Online one of the best Grand Theft Auto games is how diverse each vehicle class is. They force players to adapt, which in the long run makes gameplay much more fun. One such vehicle is the Lampadati Toro, which is a great boat for players to get once they start making tons of money because of that price tag. While handling is the main issue, players will have no problem speeding away quickly, and will get faster over time.

What's more, handling shouldn't be an issue, because in the water, players have wider spaces to get around. While in a chase, the Lampadati Toro becomes an issue for the ones doing the chasing. And because of the high speed and acceleration, players will be able to escape much faster even with poor handling. It can't be customized, but it will serve players well until they can find a better boat.

4 Nagasaki Weaponized Dinghy: $1,850,000

Players owning and driving this dinghy will have a pretty fun time. Not only is it a balanced boat, but it comes equipped with a machine gun, which makes for fun and exciting moments. However, like most boats not just on this list but in all of GTA Online, players will notice the poor handling. Again, though, this doesn't really impact gameplay a lot, because of how wide open the bodies of water are in Los Santos.

On the other hand, players will be able to go through the narrow streams because of how small the dinghy is. If players maintain speed, they should be able to get through it without taking damage. So it does have the full package for players who don't want to go all out with the bells and whistles, and since it's on the lower end of the expensive items in GTA Online, players won't regret dishing out that much money. It will be worth the price quickly, and will probably help make players more money in the long run, because it can be used for the many high leveled heists.

3 Shitzu Longfin: $2,125,000

In terms of handling, the Shitzu Longfin is one of the best boats. Since it's a wide-body boat, players may lose their grip at high speeds; however, because of the relatively high handling players will have a little more control. Thanks to the speed, players will be flying across the larger bodies of water throughout Los Santos. Since it can reach speeds of just under 200 km/h, players will be more enticed to drop over two million.

The Shitzu Longfin has the bang for its buck factor. That price tag comes with high performance and allows players to stand out more when they own this boat. It's probably one of the better vehicles throughout GTA Online — and not just when it comes to boats.

2 RUNE Kosatka Submarine: $2,200,000

Not only is this one of the best boats in GTA Online, but it's also one of the best vehicles in the game and for good reason. Players can use it for attacking, or just to get out of harm's way. This submarine can do wonders. It has low speed and acceleration, but that's not what it's used for; rather, it's meant for underwater operations. Additionally, while its performance can't be upgraded further like most boats in GTA Online, players can still upgrade the weaponry, and add elements like homing missiles and a sonar.

Players won't be using this submarine to get away, but rather hide or sneak around in, so it offers good stats for that. While the stats feel like it should limit this submarine, players have found that it can be used for a wide variety of strategies. For example, certain heists that take place on the water can be completed better with a submarine.

1 Kurts 31 Patrol Boat: $2,955,000

Some boats are well-balanced, but don't perform well because of the balance, which will dampen gameplay, However, the Kurts 31 Patrol Boat is a good example of a balanced, high-performance vehicle. The Kurts 31 Patrol Boat has it all: good handling, very good acceleration, and top speed. While its main use is for chasing and zipping, on the water it can be used for other things as well.

With all those high-performance stats, players won't have any issues while driving this boat. Its price tag is steep, but makes sense considering how useful it is. If players already have any of the super expensive vehicles , this boat will complement that collection. Usually, higher-priced vehicles come with high performance. Not only will players be more successful in GTA Online with better vehicles, they get the bragging rights along with it.

In the age of modern gaming, it can sometimes feel like it takes years for highly-anticipated games to release, which, although frustrating, is the reality of today's industry. Triple-A games have long development cycles, even with huge teams of gaming developers and crunch periods (think about the pressures behind Naughty Dog making The Last Of Us Part 2 , or Rockstar Games with Red Dead Redemption 2 ), primarily due to the extremely high standards gaming companies are held to, and the content value expectations. These fantastic numbers are largely due to GTA 5 's multiplayer mode, GTA: Online , a huge open-world set in the fictional San Andreas where up to thirty gamers per session can play at once (which was a huge number back in 2013), building up their own criminal enterprise.

Every year GTA: Online gets two major updates and multiple small ones, giving players a reason to keep coming back and have fun in San Andreas. It's a truly great multiplayer experience. To ensure GTA 6 thrives and prospers long after its launch, and to guarantee it to be a worthy successor of GTA 5 , Rockstar must launch an incredible multiplayer section that builds off of GTA: Online 's massive success, which keeps players busy with so many exciting things to experience.

Furthermore, the addition of 'special vehicles' has seen lobbies become a hectic place of pure disorder and bedlam, with griefers actively encouraged by the game to destroy cargo that players have worked so hard for, making it difficult to make progress.

Griefers alone have caused absolute mayhem, ruining the game for other players with little to no retaliation. GTA: Online is far from perfect. GTA Plus, a subscription service released by Rockstar, was highly controversial when first announced, for its lack of content and seemingly pointless nature. It primarily impacts GTA: Online , and has grown over time to become more worth it, as it boosts weekly bonuses, gives the player 500,000 GTA dollars monthly, allows them to access the prestigious Vinewood Club, and gives them different monthly benefits.

Depending on the player's stance on GTA Plus , it is either viewed as a positive or negative thing — but it is a way for newcomers to quickly catch up with longtime players, keeping GTA: Online accessible. GTA Plus seems to be sticking around, as subscribers can now access classic Rockstar Games titles, so it is certain to play some sort of role in GTA 6 .

Although it is unknown how much content will be in GTA 6: Online when it launches, the key to longevity is to follow GTA V 's methods and keep the content flowing. During the events of the game Luis Fernando Lopez is ordered by Yusuf Amir to steal the Buzzard helicopter off the boat and destroy it. This time, the Yacht is larger and has a helipad. Unlike in GTA: Vice City , you can now enter it.

The boat can be driven with the use of mods, and it makes a cameo in GTA V in the movie Meltdown .

Michael De Santa  is told by  Jimmy  that  Tracey  is hanging out with porn actors on a yacht named the Dignity and goes to stop them, then takes Tracey back to shore.

In Grand Theft Auto Online , the Dignity reappears as the location of a heist preparation mission , being owned by the Vagos . It also appears as a location for the Slasher Adversary Mode on the enhanced version .

Also in GTA Online after the Executives and Other Criminals update (enhanced version only) is the Galaxy Super Yacht, which can be purchased by the GTA Online Protagonist , functions as a safehouse , and comes with several other vehicles.

Even though the release of GTA VI is a long way off, it seems that the rumour mill will never stop spinning and this speculated aspect in the next entry of the ever-popular series won't be taking any of us by surprise.

Following years of rumours and leaks, Rockstar Games finally revealed the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series with a glorious trailer for GTA VI in December 2023 taking fans' hype levels to new heights.

Following the reveal trailer, Rockstar Games announced that GTA VI will be released sometime during late 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, though an exact release date hasn't been announced yet.

Fans of the series will be well aware that Grand Theft Auto is packed full of strong mature themes whether it be violence, sex, drugs and more, as well as its signature satirical humour on modern culture.

So this latest rumour should come as no surprise but unlike some previous rumours, it does come with a certain degree of validity, as it's from the resume of a known actor, that being said, all unconfirmed rumours should still be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.

As reported by MP1st, drugs have been seemingly confirmed in GTA VI , shocking, we know. The resume of Michael Turner ( Borderlands 3 ) mentions that he’s playing a “Rich Coke Head” NPC in GTA VI .

At this time, we don’t know much about GTA VI , other than it centres around the characters Jason and Lucia fresh out of prison and one of the locations featured in the game is the returning Miami-inspired, Vice City.

GTA VI is also expected to be released on PC but Rockstar Games is yet to announce when. As always, we’ll keep you posted when new information on Grand Theft Auto VI drops.
