I had an incredible experience with Bruneko Charter, particularly when chartering their catamaran, the Bali 4.2 named “Stairway to Heaven.” This catamaran exceeded all expectations with its remarkable spaciousness. It felt like a luxurious floating hotel room on the water. The abundance of space for sunbathing, complete with a grill for outdoor cooking, made the journey even more enjoyable. The generously sized kitchen and the spacious rooms added to the comfort and convenience of the trip. I was thoroughly impressed with the attention to detail and the high level of comfort provided by Bruneko Charter’s catamaran. It truly made for a memorable and unforgettable sailing experience. I want to give a big shoutout to the amazing Bruneko team! Seriously, from the second we hopped on the catamaran, we could feel their incredible dedication and professionalism. They were like sailing buddies who had our backs the whole way through!

It was my seventh trip, but my first one as a skipper. Of course, I was nervous about the boat, the charter agency, and the handover. But everything was fine. Our boat (Aqua Jana, Elan Impression 40) and all the others I saw in the marina were of high standard and well taken care of. The staff was very kind. Check-in/Check-out was fast too. I’m used to little problems with a boat, but we had none! Highly recommended. We will definitely come back again.

We had a very pleasant trip with an Elan E4. The boat was very well maintained and in very good condition, the welcome and service by Bruneko was perfect. They are clearly customer oriented and are wonderful hosts. To me one of the top charter agencies in Croatia.

We chartered Bruneko's Linea Uno (Elan Impression 45.1) yacht for one week in August. Check-In was the best I ever had as a skipper. Base employees weren't pushy for a quick check-in, left time to check the boat alone and then explained every feature on this a brand new yacht (AC, grill, electric toilets,...). The boat was serviced very well with a full tank, really high quality bed linen and a small welcome present. Even small things like hand-soap, sanitizer, tea towels and clothespins were thought of! Check-Out was really smooth and uncomplicated as well. I recommend Bruneko Charter to the fullest!

This Charter is way beyond Croatia Charters standards. Very pro-client attitude in communication same as services. Modern equipment of boats same as overall technical condition. We had Elan E4 which I can absolutely recommend.

Good service -especially Pitter Yachting

The marina has all you need, proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. There are always to few toilets, but they are clean. Had very good experience chartering with Pitter Yachting. Excellent service, very well maintained and equiped boats, wifi on board, friendly and professional staff. For four years chartering every year once or twice. Every time very satisfied!! highly recommended! Pick up service from Zadar airport, about half hour drive.

We rented a boat from Euronautic. The Hanse 430 had many shortcomings: very stretched sails, worn halyard, faulty electric starter. After 3 days we finished on a towing line, because of the starter that died completely. We had to pay the towing (150 EURs) + the company charged us with 700 EURs for the demaged starter. They base manager did not realy help us, he only searched the reasons for retaining 700 EURs of our deposit.

10 days ago we rented a sailing boat from Euronautic and were supposed to leave from Marina Kornati. Our contract said that we can take over the boat on Saturday from 5 P.M. However, our boat was not ready (it took ages for the staff to prepare the documents) and we embarked it only at 7 P.M. As we were supposed to return the boat next Saturday till 9 P.M. (!!), one day of our cruise was actually lost. Because of strong wind we returned the boat one week later at exactly 9:20 and had to pay additional 250 kn (cca. 35 euro)! When we claimed that a delay of 20 minutes is nothing compared to 2 hours delay because of their mistake, the staff became very unfriendly and started to convince us that our boat was ready at 1 P.M. (which is impossible because our skipper was the whole day in the marina). When we paid the 35 euros (which is nothing compared to the overall price of the sailing), they refused to give us the book of complaints (which is illegal). Only after threatening with a claim we got the book. Additionally, when we started our cruise our water tank was empty, as well as the fuel tank for our dingy (literally nothing was in there, which proved to be very inconvenient when we tried to reach the coast by strong wind). The Marina itself is clean, but the parking can be a real problem

Marina (Kornati) Biograd na Moru, aprox. 850 fully equipped mooring-s, max. boat length 23m. Entry width 40m, depth 6.5m. “In situ” assistance, max. width lift 7m. Crane, max. capacity 10t. They claim 70 “dry” spaces… but it is not quite so… 20 is… in my (unprofessional!) view more of a real data. The Marina KBNM is located aprox. 40min. drive N/NW-wise from Split international, well organized, airport. My experience over the past four years here is generally very positive. Unlike many other Marinas around the world… (I was utterly disappointed at lack of cleanliness and organization at some worlds “top notch” Marinas like… for example… fancy Kona Kai Marina in San Diego… and many.... MANY.... others!)… the amenities at Biograd Marina (Kornati) are extraordinary clean and looked after, sufficiently staffed and fittingly “stocked”… well equipped and efficient even at the high peaks of “events”, like our regatta. It holds true that our regatta is the “sailing-season” opening event, hence the affluence of “tourist sailing” is quite low… but we do “fill up” quite some docks in the Marina Kornati… so I would reasonably expect that at high season peaks their “modus operandi” should run just as efficiently. Yes… at times bathrooms and showers do get crowded but I challenge any marina amenities not getting “crowded” when at the end of the race 200-300 persons stream in… all… at more or less the same time… ☺ There was always an unpleasant issue with the Marina pay-parking. The staff is often on “be right back” sign… (without the sign!). When I needed my car, that I prefer to park inside the Marina Private Parking area, there was always a hassle with documents, getting out… and then back in… I could never really figure out what their working schedule is… however, I learned to get along without the car for those days… everything you need (restaurants, shops, bars) is/are all in the walking distance from your boat anyway. If you make the easy stroll down the lovely coast-town part of the pleasure of being here… you will be just fine. However, wish you… there is plenty of “free parking” spots just outside… near the "Islands Ferry" Port. The inner Marina coast line is bordered with small cozy coffee shops… with plenty of shade and cheerful owners… idle-hour lovely spot. (Illi espresso served!) The Marina Restaurant (holds up to aprox. comfortably… say… 300 guests) serves fair quality food… but say… average. Fresh… yet nothing outstanding. No great wines available. Service also can be quite slow… but we made friends with jolly waiters and sweet waitresses… and had no problem with it. Tips do not help to speed up the service… but you are on a brake… and have time. No? However… it is spotlessly clean, in general well organized, nothing plush…. do not expect “exclusive club Marina".... It is well equipped... and somewhat.... homey. :) If you are not attending an event so that dining here is compulsory… I do suggest you look around… several excellent fish restaurants and small pizzerias are just minutes walk away. Plenty to choose from and impossible not to find the perfect option for your gourmet and ambience preferences. Evenings… or better… late night… the “Carpe Morem” with good music and fantastic cocktails, local drinks and speed service…. in good company… is compulsory… ☺ Be careful with the AT-machine at the Marina entrance… most of the time is “eating up” credit cards (hassle getting them back!) Bank AT-machine is only 300m away… Much safer option. Marina hosts several Boat Charter companies (aprox. 12). All with good reputation and good service. Not my personal experience… I am on a proprietary boat… but chatting with guests… general feel is…. satisfaction. Bare boats, as well as related services. Again… not my personal experience… so cannot accurately evaluate. The information however, that Charter Companies started up small, with a boat or two… but now they charter up to 40-60… mainly their own vessels… to international clientele…(various Elan-s, Sun Odyssey-s, Beneteaou-s and Bavaria-s) gives me a good indication of the quality of their service . ☺ In overall… I have always had fantastic time here… and none of the above mentioned potentially negative issues ever really turned into a tangible problem. Place is gorgeous… sun, sea and sailing is fantastic in this picturesque frisky coastal part of our lovely Planet. Best periods, in my experience, are late spring and early fall…. Summer for me gets too crowded and too hot… but it is all really up to one’s personal preference. ☺ Enjoy!

The Island of Sali used to be known for fishing – until they started to use the horn used for signalization in fishing as a musical instrument. 

The imposing Punta Bjanka lighthouse is located on the northwestern cape of the island of Dugi otok, in the vicinity of the town of Veli Rat, 35 kilometres to the west of Zadar. It is surrounded by dense pine forest, beautiful bays and pebbled beaches. It was built in 1849, and it is 42 metres tall, with a light range of 22 nautical miles. Being the highest lighthouse on the Adriatic, it owes its distinctiveness to its yellow facade for which, according to the legend, 100,000 egg yolks were spent. The Chapel of St Nicholas was built in the yard of the lighthouse and is an increasingly popular venue for romantic weddings. The lighthouse also offers apartment accommodation. The settlements of Veli Rat, Verunić and Polje are located 3 kilometres away from the lighthouse, while the ferry port in Brbinj is 9 kilometres away. The lighthouse can be accessed by car.

These islands are very special for many reasons, but what they all have in common is that they offer a different kind of experience – no cars. Become one with nature and get a feeling of how people used to live! One of the most famous ones is the Island of Silba. During the summer they are even bike-free. Luckily, you can see the best attraction by foot – the Toreta - a viewing tower with an external spiral staircase erected by Captain Petar Marinić in the 19 th  century in memory of his dearly missed love.  Afterwards, take a swim in one of the many hidden bays or rent a boat to reach Silba’s Pernastica Valley! Speaking of natural attractions, we must mention the Island of Vrgada. The best description would be “Mediterranean like it used to be”. Get into slow motion on the golden sand beaches, pine forests and beautiful fields. Learn what it means to relax the Croatian way!

Many islands in Croatia have a long history of fishing thanks to the rich sea life of the Adriatic Sea. It is a traditional job passed from generation to generation on the Island of Ugljan as well. But the Village of Kali tells a different story. Although the neighbourhood of Kali is not known for fishing grounds, their fishermen became famous around the world. This is thanks to fishing blue fish in the Srednji kanal and on the open sea of the north Adriatic. They innovated the equipment with modern techniques such as using the first “tunara” – a special fishing net. They specialized in fishing tuna and are extremely popular on the Japanese market. Tovareća mužika  is a peculiar way of making music on various types of drums and antique irons filled with stones and especially attractive horns. It is a trademark of Sali, and today it is considered intangible material heritage of Croatia. But tovareća mužika is no joke, although it started off as one. In 1960, some youngsters pulled a prank at a spinster’s wedding using what is today known as the instruments for tovareća mužika. The rest was history. Soon they shaped their performance, set the rules and created costumes. The infectious rhythm is the main reason it is mostly performed during Saljske užance, the festivities on Dugi otok - a combination of live music, fine food and good entertainment. With a few performances, tovareća mužika moves through the entire village and everyone hears Budnica performed on Sunday morning waking up even the heaviest sleepers.

Has anyone else had a negative experience with this yacht charter company in Sukosan? They refused to take our overseas credit card for the bond (demanding a cash payment even though they were happy to take it for payment of insurance!), the sails and equipment on the 2 year old yacht were very tired, and when a rope broke (because it was very worn) they charged us Euro$300!! That seems to be the way they operate making the customer pay for normal maintenance. Interested if anyone else had the same issue. Would not use again.

I had a bad experience with this charter. Toilet on a boat was in poor conditiom which I didnt notice on chekc in and during our tour toiler got broke. I made temporary fix and reported this on a check out so next guest wouldnt have this issue. Thinking that this are regulary replaced spares. They charged me for this without hesitation. Looks like it is their regular practice. Everyone reading this avoid Adventure charter in Pirovac. Do not have any business with them.

They took oue 1600 EUR for the damage made by thunder in storm. Avoid this charter, they are taking money frm everyone

NEVER AGAIN - STAY AWAY!

Unfortunately we arrived really late at the base in Vodice on the day of check-in ... when we then took over our sailboat, it was not sufficiently cleaned and equipped. Dirty fridge, broken glasses, rusty kitchen accessories and cuttlery, dirty pots&pans, broken water bucket and water hose, greasy surfaces and hairs on the floor - SIMPLY DISGUSTING!

Furthermore during check-in the base manager took a look into the tank of the outboard and told us "Allright, sufficient fuel inside" ... I better should have checked myself as well as the engine ran 5! mins upon first use - luckily I insisted in a can of spare gas (which was initially also not on board of the ship).

We were cleaning until early morning as it was no option to wait for the staff on Sunday morning, discuss with them and waste lots of time ...

Bottom line I was offered a 30 EUR voucher for my next booking with them - which will for sure not happen!

CONCLUSIO: there is no problem with the company, unless you happen to be a customer of them

We hope that your overall sailing experience on the Adriatic this summer was satisfying.

Regarding the issue you had during your charter period, we are sorry that you had a misfortune to experience a very unpleasant and disturbing event of a thunder strike on the boat.

We have to mention that upon the unfortunate event, we made sure to immediately provide you a replacement boat of the same type in order for you to continue your sailing trip, with as little delay as possible.

Furthermore, upon the regular check-out boat inspection, other than the damage done to the boat due to the tunder strike, there were found other ones, such as damaged window, rudder and the unfueled gas tank that, according to the charter terms, has to be returned full.

Finally, we have to admit that the unfortunate thunderstorm and thunder strike, did not affect only you as a client, but it had an big impact on us as well, due to all the damage and repair work in short time.

We hope that with all above we have clarified the situation bit more and addressed your expressed concern.

Regarding your claim, we are sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the state of the boat.

Before check-in the base manager and the cleaning lady check every boat, and we rarely have problems with cleanliness.

If additional cleaning is requested, the cleaning lady is available, but unfortunately because of the late arrival outside working hours, it was not possible.

We are sorry you wanted to resolve the issue on your own in the middle of the night. If communicated in the morning, everything would have been resolved.

In addition we would like to express our sorry that, on top of your unsatisfaction, you had a mishap and had damaged the boat anchor, reported at the check-out.

We hope that with all above we have clarified and addressed your expressed concern.

Yes. Never again. Rude staff, half of the things missing. We should have checkin at 17, but at 18 still waiting.

In 2023 they moved to the unifinished "Marine" in Drage. The 2019 Sun Odyssey 35 foot sailboat was clean but poorly maintained (mooring ropes especially, furling of the genova was messed up, service battery never made it through the night despite sunny weather and operating solar panels, worn out sails so impossible to sail upwind closer than 45 degees and with drift even less, the tube for pumping the dinghy was leaking in several places, which was a safety issue, the bowthruster operated for 5 to 10 seconds and after that loosing power, left cockpit loudpeaker broken producing strange noises in low frequencies, etc etc). Fotunately, the anchor and the chain were both OK).

Check in and check out electronic and hassle free, but can't finish it until checking everything 'OK'. The sailor at the checkout was informed about things, but I am afraid that the boat was in the same poor state for the next customer.

Don't recommend and will never chart with Adventure charter in Drage again.
