SEA OWL spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was constructed by recognized shipbuilder Azimut in 2022. The spacious yacht layout features 5 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests.

SEA OWL is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the boat -generous aft deck, leads to the attractive and sleek main salon. Captain - Michael Sharrow | American Throughout Michael’s nearly thirty-year career as Captain and crew on various chartered, private, recreational, delivery boats and yachts, he has been blessed with unique opportunities to travel the world and cross nearly every ocean. Having experience in freelance and delivery work has allowed Michael to grow his experience and knowledge on a variety of boat builds and familiarize himself with different systems. Michael is extremely competent in yacht mechanics and electrical, international shipping and receiving, itinerary planning and all over maintenance, care and management. He has received extensive training and experience in Marine Environment and sailed throughout the world being blessed to visit more than 100 different countries, thousands of islands, and meet many amazing people from all over the planet along the way. He has had the opportunity to live in Japan, Europe, and now calls South Florida his permanent home. It has been a truly epic adventure and Michael looks forward to continuing it on board SEA OWL! Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). Having experience in freelance and delivery work has allowed Michael to grow his experience and knowledge on a variety of boat builds and familiarize himself with different systems. Michael is extremely competent in yacht mechanics and electrical, international shipping and receiving, itinerary planning and all over maintenance, care and management. He has received extensive training and experience in Marine Environment and sailed throughout the world being blessed to visit more than 100 different countries, thousands of islands, and meet many amazing people from all over the planet along the way. He has had the opportunity to live in Japan, Europe, and now calls South Florida his permanent home. It has been a truly epic adventure and Michael looks forward to continuing it on board SEA OWL! Five cabins can accommodate as many as eight guests. Her master cabin features a walkaround king bed, desk/vanity, large flatscreen T.V., and en-suite bathroom with double sinks. She also offers three queen guest cabins and one twin guest cabin.

Her main salon offers a couch and two love seats in a U shape with large center coffee table. On the foredeck there are large sun beds and forward-facing couch with occasional table. Up on the flybridge you can enjoy al fresco dining, a conversational area, and multi stool bar.

Her fullbeam swim platform and floating dock offer easy water access. Watersports offered include a 35-foot towed tender, Seadoo waverunner, towable tube, two standup paddleboards, fishing gear, snorkeling equipment, and two sea bobs.

Captain: robert aubrey.

Captain Robert Aubrey | American Captain Robert Aubrey was born in Fort Lauderdale April of ‘94. His parents were both in the yachting industry in the 70’s-90’s. His father taught him how to operate and navigate boats varying from 80’-110’. Growing up in south Florida allowed him to develop hobbies in fishing, diving, other water sports along with developing a love for the ocean. Starting his career at 18 years old as a deckhand aboard an 80’ sailing yacht, moving up the ladder over the years on various sized boats, up to captain. Throughout the years he has covered thousands of miles and has seen some amazing features that this world has to offer. His favorite part of the job is showing his guests the extraordinary areas of the Bahamas, Caribbean and New England. He is married to his lovely wife Sophie Aubrey, who is also Sea Owl’s first mate. They spend their free time taking their dog Haven for excursions on their paddle board, fishing and to the beach for some time to relax. They love to travel and experience different cultures, especially when sharing these experiences with their guests. First Mate Sophie Aubrey | American Sophie was born and raised on the East coast of central Florida and is 26 years old. She is a fourth generation native Floridian. While growing up on the water, she has always enjoyed everything that the ocean has to offer. While working in the hospitality industry as a server/bartender and managing a parasail and water sports company at 18, she gained the basic fundamentals that it takes to make a great crew member. Sophie moved to south Florida with her husband and entered the yachting industry in 2020 as a stewardess onboard a 197’ super yacht. Later transitioning to a deck/stew, and now, a full time first mate. Since joining the industry she has traveled through the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, the entire East coast of the US. While not hard at work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband Rob and dog Haven, bike riding and visiting the beach. Attention to detail and exceptional care for her guests are her strong points. She enjoys all facets of boating life and the thrilling aspects of yacht charters. She is looking forward to furthering her career in yachting as part of the Sea Owl crew. Stewardess Shannon Halle | American Shannon grew up on the main line just outside of Philadelphia. In the summers, she would visit her uncle at his 42’ sport fishing yacht in Maryland. They would make their way down the Chesapeake Bay and stop to explore the islands along the inlet. Later, she studied environmental engineering at the University of Alabama (roll tide!) while working as a server/bartender. She entered the yachting industry shortly thereafter to pursue her passion of traveling the world. Since then, Shannon has spent most of her time exploring the Caribbean tropics and the historical northeast US. In her spare time, she enjoys beach days, discovering new areas, finding creative outlets, and socializing with friends. She has joined Sea Owl as sole stewardess after years of learning from the best chief stews in the industry. Her creativity thrives through lavish table decor and mixology. Ready to craft your favorite cocktails and maintain a pristine interior, you’ll find that no detail is too small for her eye. One day, she hopes to combine her knowledge of environmental engineering and yachting to design more sustainable and eco-friendly vessels, so we can continue to explore and protect marine life for generations to come. Most expenses are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), a fund that is added on top of the charter price. The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption). You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled). The 2022 Azimut charter yacht SEA OWL is a sleek and speedy yacht certainly built to perfection. She is designed for experiencing the on-water lifestyle. Overall her open-plan layout has expansive windows. SEA OWL has also sophisticated furnishings witch creates an elegant atmosphere that every charterer will enjoy.

SEA OWL’s main salon is accessed from the aft deck. This yacht features a cozy alfresco seating space that welcomes guests to relax.

A large sliding door with the result that it leads into the salon. Then again guests are also greeted by huge windows to either side.

Forward is the formal dining space. Additionally the dining area offers unbeatable views of SEA OWL’s cruising grounds.

ACCOMODATIONS

Undeniably the master suite is full-beam and located on the main deck. In similar fashion she has floor-to-ceiling windows bordering either side of the bed. Not to mention the master en-suite bathroom is spa-like.

Another key point SEA OWL’s four additional staterooms are found on the lower deck and can be accessed via a set of stairs. Two queen VIPs are located aft, a twin stateroom is forward to port and a queen cabin is to starboard.

As can be seen SEA OWL’s sleek, dynamic and modern exterior profile makes her a head-turner on the water. Also her aft deck is a welcoming, covered area for alfresco lounging and dining.

Her flybridge significantly boasts a retractable sunroof for full sun exposure or the option to unwind in the shade. It is important to realize this space is sure to be the favorite guest hang out spot. Given that there is a full bar, a dining table, forward-facing pilot seats and loungers aft.

In similar fashion her spacious foredeck is the prime location for admiring unobstructed views of the cruising grounds.

Most important SEA OWL’s extended swim platform is created once the garage door folds down to water level. Without a doubt this space offers guests premium visibility to watch the action of watersports happening while at anchor.

Four professional and experienced crewmembers are onboard to cater to each guest’s every need.

The yacht boasts seven staterooms that can accommodate up to 12 guests, each with its own unique theme, including masquerade balls and pirate tales. The master stateroom is located on the main deck and takes advantage of the full beam. There is a dedicated office showcasing a custom replica of an 18th-century French desk. The six guest staterooms are on the lower deck, and three VIP suites all have their own distinct themes. Additionally, there is a cabin that can be used for nannies, staff, or extra guests.

SEA OWL’s bridge deck is designed to be a comfortable and welcoming family gathering spot complete with a full-beam skylounge that doubles as a movie theater.
