They have this operation dialed in. It is short but very sweet. The open bar and fun, yet competent, staff makes for good times on the water. The views are great, they have good music going, and it is fun meeting other folks on board. Definitely check it out!

This was a great experience. This sail is very calm and relaxing and a completely different experience from the trade wind sails, where you expect to get tossed around and get wet. The crew was very friendly and attentive. The sunset was gorgeous, even though it was overcast all day. My wife and I now prefer this sail over the trade winds sails we have done in the past. This is the best deal in Waikiki. Was there for a week and went on this cruise three times. ~$30 for one hour sail with open bar. So, you can sit in a hotel bar and nurse one drink or be on the ocean enjoying amazing views, listen to lively music and chug down multiple drinks. No brainer. Shout out to Dustin for the amazing sailing experience.

This was a total blast! The guys running the boat were friendly and entertaining. The sites were phenomenal. The sea life is gorgeous. And the drinks were very good. I booked a second trip, can’t wait to sale again!

CANCELLATION POLICY

Guests will receive a full refund only with a minimum 24-hour notice of cancellation. Full refunds are also issued in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

During the slower seasons and typically the morning sails, tour cancellations can occur due to a minimum requirement of 6 booked guests. In these rare situations, guests are always given the option to rebook or refund. If you are concerned about your tour, please call with any questions.

Guests wishing to rebook or reschedule must give 24 hours notice. Contact us by phone directly to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows and guests canceling within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price .*Groups of 20 or larger are required to give 72-hour notice to cancel or modify bookings.

Inspected by the US Coast Guard for 26 passengers, ECHO 2 public trips are limited to 14 and Private trips to 19 lucky folks. With our big Bimini top and our soft trampoline sundeck, you can get all the Key West sun or shade that you want. The fresh water shower on deck comes in handy after a salty snorkel. And private bathroom in the cabin keeps a day cruising around our Wildlife Refuge civilized and helps protect our tropical waters.

ECHO 2 is located at the “Key West Historic Seaport” which is downtown in Old Key West at the famous Key West Bight Marina. The Historic Seaport “Harbor Walk” goes right around the water’s edge and leads right to the ECHO 2 dock along side the famous “Boat House Restaurant at Turtle Kraals”.

Spend the day or evening on the Harbor Walk before and after your ECHO 2 adventure and enjoy the maritime sights and sounds of a working waterfront surrounded by incredible sea life. Visit all the unique waterfront shops & galleries, an Over-sea Railway Historium, a wide selection of incredible restaurants, and of course famous waterfront bars with famous people. Traveling at the age of 20 with your friends is a guaranteed fun time but when you do amazingly fun excursions like the Makani Catamaran, it just makes your vacations a thousand times better! I highly recommend Makani Catamaran, MAHALO!!! oh and we saw turtles and DOLPHINS on our sail, IT WAS AMAZING!!!

This was by far the best catamaran we have been on! The staff is AMAZING. The crew is so helpful and funny. They make you feel like your part of their crew for sure. We loved spending time on the water and hearing all they had to say about the islands and animals. The captain was great! We will be doing this again!

We saw a sea turtle and a group of dolphins followed us for a while and did some "tricks". No whales on this trip but the crew made the experience fun by telling jokes and talking about the animals.

I can't say enough nice things about our trip on the Makani Catamaran! The staff were warm and friendly, the drinks we're tasty and the views were breathtaking. We had the opportunity to stand in the Captain's Galley and take photos. Captain Jon was so accommodating and thoughtful - he even offered to take our picture. This is one experience you do not want to miss out on! Highly recommend.

The boat was in great shape, staff was very professional and committed to safety. I appreciated that more than anything. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting the Island, the views are well worth it. Great value trip!

So, full disclosure I was pretty skeptical that this would be fun at all. In fact, this was totally my wifes idea. That said, of all the things we did in Hawaii, this ended up being one of my favorites. We had been doing pushing ourselves pretty hard for several days up to this point and it was just really nice to sit back for a couple hours with drinks in hand and hang out as a family. We sat on the netting in the front and our 9,7, and 5 year old kids thought it was awesome to watch the water go by underneath and at one point even had some dolphins following us. 100% would suggest and will definitely do again.

I am so happy that I booked this during our trip to Hawaii. The crew was nice, hospitable, and very engaging. They made the sail super fun for everyone on board. Our captain was even able to show us sea turtles and a whale, even though we were not promised that when booking! Plus there was a full service bar and the drinks were awesome! I would definitely recommend to everyone. It is definitely worth it.

That’s exactly what I was experiencing during my catamaran cruise in Venice .

Seeing my favourite city from this 20 metre long catamaran gave me the chance to discover the beauty of this city but from a different angle for the very first time.

If you like the idea of getting away after a morning or afternoon on the busy streets of Venice and want to lay-back and sail your way through one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world , simply board this catamaran cruise and let the rest happen!

Venice Catamaran Cruise experience

In this guide, I’ll share my personal experience of how I hopped on board the iconic ‘No Stress’ catamaran cruise that you can also do while visiting Venice.

To give you the full picture, I’ll explain a couple of things worth knowing before boarding the boat, why it’s worth your time, what you can expect once on the water.

The last but not least, I’ll show you how to book your experience . It’s also worth noting that this was the highlight of my last trip to Venice, hands down!

Is it worth it doing a Catamaran Cruise in Venice?

The answer is a resounding YES, and here’s exactly why:

• Most tourists still don’t know about this experience . The majority of people visiting Venice believe that the only way to explore Venice is on foot, by gondola or vaporetto . On the catamaran, you get to look at famous sights like St. Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, but also lesser known islands, from a special angle and surrounded by the peace of the lagoon .
• The ‘No Stress’ catamaran is all about comfort . It’s spacious, with plenty of room to stretch out , relax, and soak up the sun. Unlike water buses that can be cramped and crowded, this experience felt more exclusive . The catamaran offers ample choice of seating with both normal bar chairs and tables but also small sofas . There are also shaded areas at the front.
• During the Spritz tour catamaran cruise you can enjoy chill out music in the background, 2 complimentary drinks , and get more drinks from the open bar while you sail. There are other cruises you can choose from , available from 12pm to 10pm. For example, this sunset jazz cruise offers live saxophone jazz music, cicchetti and 2 free drinks. Things to know before arriving

Below I will note some things to take into account before you get to the catamaran.

Departure Point

The catamaran cruises depart from Riva dei Sette Martiri , opposite the Ristorante La Nuova Perla. It’s a 12 minute walk from St. Mark’s Square and 2 minutes walk from the vaporetto stop Arsenale. Aim to arrive 15 minutes before departure.

The typical route will take you around the Venetian lagoon with views of:

• St. Mark’s Basin
• Giudecca Canal
• San Giorgio Maggiore
• San Servolo
• Lazzaretto Vecchio
• Sant’Elena island
• Castello where it ends (back to the starting point)

Different Experiences

There are several leisure cruises to choose from! This is great because it means you can adjust your schedule accordingly and get on board at your convenience .

As I stepped onto the catamaran, I knew this was going to be a different kind of experience. The crew welcomed all guests with a smile, and shortly after we were off!

On board, the atmosphere was relaxed , being there towards the end of the season had its extra perks! There were not many people on board and there was plenty of space to move around , change seats and relax wherever you please.

One key difference I found, is that these catamaran cruises focus on taking it easy and relaxing on board. Forget about party catamarans with loud music. That’s why the experience fits well with the elegant and luxurious style of the city itself.

The sound of mellow music in the background , as people sat in the shaded areas near the bar while other guests chose to lounge on sofas at the front.

The cruise lasted 90 minutes , during which we sailed along the Venetian lagoon, passing by stunning landmarks like Doge’s Palace , St. Mark’s Campanile.

Not to mention, landmarks such as Basilica Santa Maria della Salute and even Hilton Molino Stucky the wonderful 5 star hotel that is popular with many travellers.

We also sailed by smaller, quieter islands in Venice like San Servolo and Lazzaretto Vecchio which is where plague victims were buried in the 15th and 17th centuries.

Also, note that anytime during the cruise, you can head to the bar and order your drink. There are 2 drinks included in the price of the tour. Depending on the cruise you booked, there could also be a light lunch, cicchetti or a meal included too.

What I liked about the Cruise

A few things I would like to mention that I liked about it:

The peace: Venice is crowded, especially from spring to autumn, which basically corresponds to the long peak season. The catamaran cruise is the perfect escape, like a little slice of paradise, away from the hustle and bustle.

The views: it’s not my first time on a boat in Venice. The only other time I had such an epic adventure was on a friend’s boat. Venice is beautiful from any angle, especially from its lagoon, which I see as one of the world’s most incredible places.

The overall experience: having the chance to talk with Andreas, the friendly catamaran owner, and with other guests on board, made the experience even better!

The Venice catamaran cruise is absolutely worth it . Whether you’re looking for a romantic sunset evening, spend a couple of hours of laughs and fun with friends, or just a way to see Venice from a different perspective , this experience delivers.

The combination of comfort, luxury, and stunning views makes it one of the best activities I’ve done in Venice—and I can’t recommend it enough.

Amazing experience

Great way to see some amazing Hawaii scenery.

We had a great time. We had the last tour of the day so we felt we had time to really enjoy it. The weather is perfect this time of the year so it was really comfortable. Our guide was Sam, who has an amazing amount of passion and knowledge for the islands and Hawaiian history.

VIP Movie Tour . . . . Fantastic

Took the air conditioned, VIP movie tour with George as our guide. The tour is two+ hours and is full of information about Kualoa Ranch, Hawaiian culture, and filming done at the ranch. I knew we would see movie and TV items but didn’t know I would learn what an Ahupua’a is (go on the tour and find out for yourself). Kinda cool. The views on the tour are incredible. The are many opportunities to get out of the van to take pictures of the vistas and movie sites and props. In fact, this is the only tour that lets you get out at some of the sites. George was very knowledgeable about the films/TV shows shot at the ranch. Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Snatched, George of the Jungle, Tears of the Sun, Kong Skull Island, Godzilla, 50 First Dates, Windtalkers, Lost, Hawaii 5-0, etc. We were able to see sites and props from each as well as hear about filming and how it was done. There was never a time where I was bored or not interested in what was going on. I have been to Oahu many, many times and have never done this tour. What a mistake. I must say that on this latest trip to the island this tour was, by far, my favorite activity. Well done, George, and Kualoa Ranch!

Put the Kool in Kualoa

We did the jungle tour and the catamaran ride. Both provided excellent views for photo taking. If you want to see some great movie sets, scenery and history, go to Kualoa Ranch. It was great.

Unforgettable Adventures at Kualoa Ranch - Jurassic Jungle, UTV, and Ocean Voyage

Worth it Recently visited the Kualoa Ranch with my mum and brother – we did the Jurassic Jungle Expedition Tour, UTV Tour and the Ocean Voyage adventure. Each group is given a schedule with all your activities listed to follow which I thought was pretty cool because you know where you had to be at a certain time and where. We enjoyed every single tour and learnt so much. Would like to give a shout to Claude – our guide during the Jungle Expedition – we learnt so much and had fun during the ride. Thank you all the working who were friendly and helpful!

Kualoa Ranch was amazing and an experience not to be missed. My daughter and I went on the ocean voyage, the movie site tour and the jungle expedition. All three were lots of fun with opportunities for some amazing pictures. The tour guides were knowledgeable and entertaining.

Perfect Family Experience: Ocean Voyage Tour at Kualoa Ranch

My family did the Ocean Voyage tour and it was perfect. Easy parking, simple check-in, clean facilities, friendly staff, the tour was on time, there were plenty of food and drink options, and I especially love that they have lockers so items don’t have to be left in the car. I would recommend this tour for everyone, minimal walking, a shaded boat, great for families.

Perfect Family Experience

Kualoa Ranch is a most beautiful piece of this planet. Wonderful scenery & back country trips.

We did the 2 hour ATV tour in the Kualoa valley while at the Kualoa Ranch. This brings you back into one of the most beautiful areas of this planet. This is where many movies have been made & there are parts of the movie sets still remaining.

Kualoa Ranch has to be one of the most amazing places on earth! Yes, the prices may look intimidating when looking at activities. However, you’ll find that you easily get your monies worth. The catamaran tour provides breathtaking views and seems to be accessible for just about all ages.

The ranch has a lot of activities to choose from. We did the secret beach, horse back riding tour, movie site tour, garden tour and catamaran tour. All of them are great.
