Luxury motor yacht Braveheart was built in 1989 by Swedish shipyard Oskarshamns Varv (Swedeship). With a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she features naval architecture and exterior design by Pieter Beeldsnijder. This twin waterjet propulsion motor yacht measures 49.8 metres and can accommodate up to 10 guests.
Motor yacht Braveheart was previously known by the name Jefferson Beach. She underwent a refit in 1997 and another in 2004 worth US$2 million, ensuring the classic super yacht remains just so but also up to date with all the latest in nautical advancements. She has long, lean traditional lines
Her interior is light and spacious with areas that switch between formal and casual. European ivory lacquers create a feeling of luxury amongst the cosy and comfortable sitting areas including the library-like alcove in the main salon. The dining room can easily sit eight guests and the nearby bar serves both the dining room and the salon.
The main deck and skylounge sport a line of large windows that provide unfaltering views of the sea outside. The shaded aft deck has considerable space for alfresco dining along with the upper-deck and plush, cushioned sundeck.
Amongst her six cabins are an indulgent master suite and five guest staterooms. Each guest accommodation features a Queen-size bed, while the master suite on the main deck features a large and lavish bathroom. Also on the main deck is a formal dining room which complements the outdoor lounge where alfresco dining is a more laid-back affair.
Luxury yacht Braveheart is powered by two MTU 1,630 horsepower engines that allow her to reach a maximum speed of 14 knots. She can achieve a range of 3,800 nautical miles while cruising at a speed of 12 knots.
Featuring a dedicated crew, Braveheart is an excellent charter yacht for luxury vacations. The yacht cruises comfortably at 12 knots while her crew of 10 ensure the needs of every guest are met.
The luxury motor yacht is equipped with an armada of water toys to provide endless entertainment during any yacht charter. Onboard water toys include tenders, Waverunners, waterskis, tows, windsurfers, and a range of diving, snorkelling and fishing equipment.

From the Oskarshamns Varv Ab shipyard in Sweden the BRAVEHEART is 49 metre 162 (ft) in length. Ready for launch in 1989 the comparatively traditional interior decoration demonstrates the established conceptualisation of the design work of Pieter Beeldsnijder Design / Susanne Skaf (Refit). Superyacht BRAVEHEART can accommodate up to 10 guests with 10 crew members. The former names or project names are Jefferson Beach; Barbara Anne; Jefferson Beach. She will reach a maximum speed of 16 knots.
Although Oskarshamns Varv Ab shipyard in Sweden started the build of BRAVEHEART it was in fact Hakvoort shipyard that finished the yacht.
Building & Naval Architecture relating to Luxury Yacht BRAVEHEART
Pieter Beeldsnijder Design was the naval architect firm involved in the formal superyacht design work for BRAVEHEART. Also the company Pieter Beeldsnijder Design skillfully worked on this undertaking. Interior designer Pieter Beeldsnijder Design / Susanne Skaf (Refit) was responsible for the overall internal styling. Sweden is the country that Oskarshamns Varv Ab built their new build motor yacht in. After formal launch in 1989 in Oskarshamn the boat was then passed over to the owner after sea trials and testing. The main hull was built out of steel. The motor yacht superstructure component is made mostly from aluminium. With a beam of 8.63 metres / 28.3 feet BRAVEHEART has spacious size. A reasonably shallow draught of 2.8m (9.2ft) selects the list of certain ports she can enter into, contingent on their particular characteristics. She had refit maintenance and alteration work undertaken in 2008.

The 12V 396 TB93 engine installed in the motor yacht is produced by MTU. Connected to her MTU engine(s) are twin water jets (kamewa). The main engine of the yacht gives 1630 horse power (or 1215 kilowatts). She is equiped with 2 engines. The total thrust for the yacht is thus 3260 HP / 2430 KW. As far as stabalisers are concerned she utilises Naiad. The bow thrusters are Dahne.

BRAVEHEART 2 is an outstanding example of the Lowland 80 Motor Yacht, boasting all-welded aluminum construction, a single hull with a double bottom and twin-screw propulsion with fin stabilizers. Designed by Pieter Beeldsnijer and built by Neth Ships Lowland Yachts BV in Holland in 1987, this yacht exemplifies the craftsmanship and quality associated with the Dutch shipbuilding tradition. At 82’ (25.75m) in length, and with a draft of 1.65m, BRAVEHEART 2 is perfectly suited for easy access to most anchorages. She is an economical cruiser, with a fuel consumption of just 57 liters per hour for both engines and generators, offering a range of around 2,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. She boasts Wesmar hydraulic fin stabilizers and a SidePowder bow thruster. The yacht has a rich history, initially launched for the U.S. market and spending years navigating the Intercoastal waterways on the east coast. BRAVEHEART 2 was later transported to New Zealand, where the current owners acquired her in 2013. They registered her in New Zealand and sailed her across the Tasman Sea to Australia, ensuring she met stringent safety standards, including full Cat 1 safety equipment. In 2016, BRAVEHEART 2 underwent a comprehensive refit at Boat Works in Coomera, QLD, with over AUD 1M invested. The refit included stripping the hull to bare metal, replacing grey and black water structural tanks, converting from 110VAC to 230VAC, rebuilding the port engine, installing new shafts and generators and adding a custom hydraulic platform on the transom. This platform now supports a large tender, enhancing BRAVEHEART 2’s versatility. Following the refit, the yacht cruised extensively, from NE Queensland and across the top of Australia to Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Currently, she is berthed at Nongsa Point Marina in Batam, a short ferry ride from Singapore. The interior of BRAVEHEART 2 is spacious and comfortable, featuring light beech wood with dark timber trims, fully carpeted throughout the saloon and guest cabins. The open galley, equipped with granite countertops, a breakfast bar and modern appliances, is designed for both convenience and style. The main salon, accessible via sliding glass doors from the cockpit, includes a bar area, a large C-shaped sofa and a dining area with bench seating for six. BRAVEHEART 2 accommodates up to 10 guests in four well-appointed cabins. The full-beam master cabin, accessed via a dedicated companionway, features a queen-sized bed, ample storage and his-and-hers bathrooms with a large central shower stall. The forward VIP cabin offers a queen bed and en-suite head, while the port and starboard twin cabins each have single berths and Pullman beds, also with en-suite facilities. The wheelhouse, located at the forward end of the main deck, includes a helm chair, excellent visibility, and access to the side decks and foredeck through sliding doors. The flybridge, accessed via an interior staircase, features a central helm, guest seating, and ample space for safety gear and additional tenders. BRAVEHEART 2's exterior design is both purposeful and spacious, with a modern, well-balanced look. The aft deck includes a teak cockpit area, a large lazarette, and a sheltered mezzanine level with an outdoor table and chairs. The flybridge provides a commanding view and is equipped with a stainless steel Bimini frame, fixed seating, and a U-shaped sofa around a hi-lo table. The foredeck, accessible from the wheelhouse, includes a sunpad and anchor windlass.
