At one end of the room is a working fireplace and at the other end, a wall-mounted smart TV. Traditional portraits hang from one wall, opposite custom-made boat models on the other. Two doors open to a wrap-around balcony that overlooks the Marina and Alcatraz. Amidst this traditional décor, the Board Room is fully equipped with all necessary meeting and conferencing technology, lending itself to a formal business atmosphere.
The Chart Room, with its rich nautical charm, provides an elegant setting for meetings and celebrations of any kind. French doors reveal outdoor balconies that look out over the Palace of Fine Arts, the Marina Harbor and the grand residences of Pacific Heights. Nautical charts adorn the walls and an elegant fireplace completes the luxurious, historical ambiance. This is a clubhouse favorite.
This is well-lit and intimate space with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out to the Bay. Doors open wide to a waterside terrace, affording guests a front-row seat at one of the world’s most spectacular views.
Located in the northeast corner of the building, this room features a historic oak bar, a wood-burning fireplace, a state-of-the-art sound system and doors that open to an outdoor patio, where waves crash just below your feet. Named after its proximity to the on-water sailing regatta starting line, this room has been the viewing platform for several international sailing competitions, ranging from the America’s Cup to Transpacific races.
With views of Angel Island and the Marin Headlands, this is the perfect space to conduct business presentations, meetings or trainings. It also works well for intimate meals with groups of 15-20. Inside, high ceilings and abundant natural light create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere while outside, the adjacent patio offers refreshing views and ocean air.

St. Francis Yacht Club is the place to have your wedding in San Francisco. We had ours there Sept. 6 and it was a wonderful decision. Many of our guests were from out of town. The major thing they associate with San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. I doubt there's a place in the city with a better view of the bridge than at St. Francis. It's magical! In addition, Summer Pettus, the wedding coordinator at the club, does an excellent job. She executed the event so smoothly- it is hard to believe anyone could do a better job. I was thoroughly pleased with this club.
I'm a member to the Del Rey Yacht Club in Marina del Rey California and the Saint Francis Yacht Club is as well beautiful the food is great the service is fantastic and the views are absolutely spectacular. If you are a member to any of these particular Yacht Clubs I highly suggest in making an afternoon lunch out of it.
Went here for a retirement party. The food was on the good side of mediocre (I had the filet mignon) and the view was fantastic. I wanted to get some good networking done, but that didn't happen at the reception. BUT because the dining room has one stall in the men's bathroom, I was able to meet some good contacts while waiting in line to pee! Funny how that is, huh?
Met a friend for dinner at the grill downstairs about a week ago. Didn't really know what to expect, but overall it had a pretty laid-back vibe. The staff was friendly, the food was decent (ordered from the upstairs menu), and the view of the bay is fantastic. I say if you're ever invited to go to dinner/lunch/whatever it's worth a try!
Came here for my company's holiday party this year. The location is priceless and the view is wonderful. The food and service was impeccable. I loved their dishes and I'm impressed on their catering abilities to keep up the quality on food. The place seems homey and yet exclusive. I would love to have an opportunity to return.
We stumbled upon this while looking for another yacht club in the neighborhood. There happened to be a members/committee meeting night, hence all the men were dressed up in suits and ties. I've heard a lot abt the club being THE yacht club in SF, only for the elitest, NO, Yelp Elite don't qualify...hence it was a major stepping stone going thru the double doors and walking in and admiring the surroundings but only to kill the momentum by asking directions to another yacht club. Sigh....staff were friendly, members of the club that were standing closeby started laughing...sigh, we walked out with our heads down and never turning back. My friend knows the executive chef of the restaurant of this private club so hence, maybe one day, one day, I'll step back in again...Hasta la vista, baby!
Delicious seafood buffet. We enjoyed our trip very much, thank you St. Francis!
I absolutely loved the view on the second floor. We could see the Golden Gate bridge, and the endless expanse of water. It was beautiful and I am confident that this would be a romantic spot for couples. The food was good too; I had the warm spinach salad, which I would recommend, and scallops. I think the scallops were not that great -- but the lamb chop that my friend had was delicious. The desserts are also decadent here. I recommend sorbet. The creme brulee was good but not exceptionally better than other fancy restaurants. I would come here for special events or romantic dining.
Great views of the golden gate. Dinner was good, but not outstanding. The location and atmosphere are the best part.
Love the view and the relaxed atmosphere of the grill room. Reasonably priced cocktails (dark and stormies!) and beer. Really warm, friendly people and service. I'm addicted to the french onion soup.

This wedding was very classic San Francisco style at The St. Francis Yacht Club. What a treat it was to be a part of such a special occasion and amazing creative team. This couple was absolutely a dream to be around, and it was proven by their family and friends from all over the world who felt the same way.
After looking at a few venues, we decided on the St. Francis Yacht Club due to the breathtaking views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The live piano music greatly added to the evening's atmosphere. The Saint Francis Yacht Club wedding also included a beautiful ice sculpture of a Russian Orthodox Church in the cocktail area and the guests were treated to black caviar and other hors d'oeuvres.
