Bodrum is located within the southwest Aegean Region of Turkey, in the heart of the Mediterranean. Our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary is the ideal sailing holiday for everyone with beautiful towns with plenty of places to explore, crystal clear waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling, and small inlets and caves to discover along with beautiful tree and mountain lined coastlines. This itinerary has something for everyone.

Each stop and town has both traditional Turkish delicacies, with much of the produce being grown locally, along with fresh fish and traditional Mediterranean cuisine.

Our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary

Explore the turkish aegean coast with our 7-day itinerary, bodrum → cnidus 23nm.

Our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary departs from Bodrum and heads towards the ancient city of Cnidus. Cnidus is often referred to as the city that has been lost in time due to its ancient feel and ruins, which make the city a great place to explore. Cnidus has a quay and T-pier located in Byuk Limani Bay, which makes for the perfect place to moor overnight. Mooring is available on both sides of the T-pier bow-to dock. Additionally, anchoring is available on the pier berths or in the bay, where the water depth is between 4-15 meters with a sandy bottom.

Recommended Activities: Exploring the ancient city and ruins of Plethora.

Cnidus → Yedi Adalari 32NM

Upon departing Cnidus the itinerary heads towards the small group of seven islands in the Yedi Adalari region. These islands offer protection from the wind while allowing you to explore and discover the crystal clear waters and swim in caves. Amazon Creek is one of the most beautiful places to discover here, especially in the evening to watch the sunset. Overnight anchorage is best in the north cove, which also provides a great place to swim and watch the evening sunset from.

Yedi Adalari → English Harbour 15NM

From Yedi Adalari our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary takes you to the secluded and uncommericailsed island of English Harbor. The island got its name from being the base of the Royal Marine Commandos during WWII. The beautiful bay is surrounded by thriving trees and is the perfect place to drop anchor for the night and go swimming in the crystal clear waters.

Recommended Activities: Explore the island and swim in the ocean.

The Ideal Area for Every Level of Sailing Experience

English harbour → akbuk 12nm.

Akbuk is one of the most traditional Turkish locations on our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary. Akbuk has a local feel, with mountains to the north and a tree-lined coastline. The Keramos ruins are located close to Akbuk and are an great place to explore.

Akbuk → Cokertme 19NM

Cokertme is an ideal location for shelter on our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary. The large bay is home to a number of pontoons, to moor up to, with shower and washing facilities. The town is surrounded by hills, trees and beautiful olive groves. There are a small number of local restaurants serving traditional delicacies, often backed by traditional Turkish music. Anchorage is available in the harbour.

Recommended Activities : Hiking, exploring the town, sampling local produce and swimming.

Cokertme → Bodrum 19NM

Day seven brings our Bodrum Sailing Itinerary to an end back in Bodrum. Bodrum is a great place to relax after your trip, with world class restaurants, great bars and resorts to relax at before heading home.
