Just 7 miles to the north of St Maarten lies the long, flat island of Anguilla – the northernmost member of the Leeward Islands in the  Caribbean. Famous for its sandy white beaches, and calm inland waters, Anguilla is a haven for those who wish to ‘get away from it all’ and just chill, Island Style.

This tour is available for both Shared and Private Charter.

(This is an International Trip that requires customs and immigration clearance between St Maarten and Anguilla)

The Fun Stuff

Boarding begins at 8:15 a.m. at our pickup location, behind   “Nowhere Special” Restaurant in Simpson Bay .   Our crew will transport your party on a quick dinghy ride out to our yacht, anchored in Simpson Bay.

On arrival at Enigma, you will be greeted by our friendly crew who will give you a brief introductory tour of your boat for the day, while you indulge in a light breakfast of bottomless coffee, French pastries, and other tasty tidbits.

After we complete boarding and a quick safety briefing, we weigh anchor and set sail along the picturesque southern coast of St Maarten on our way to Anguilla. We sail past Maho Beach, Mullet Bay, and Long Bay. The views are breathtaking, so bring your camera!

Crossing the short Anguilla Channel, we make our way to either Rendezvous Bay or Meads Bay in Anguilla (depending on prevailing weather conditions). During our brief sail time, relax on the trampolines, have a drink from our open bar, with bottomless drinks available all day, or just take in the ambiance from the Flybridge to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean views. You are on Vacation, so relax and enjoy!

Anguilla features amazing beaches with pristine white sands and calm seas.  While we are anchored during our journey, you can swim, float with a noodle in the water, make use of the various water toys onboard, or just relax aboard and soak in the scenery.

Lunch will be served onboard, buffet style at around 1 p.m. Our onboard chefs use only the freshest ingredients available. A typical lunch aboard Engima includes BBQ ribs, blackened Mahi-Mahi, seafood paella, roast vegetables, and a variety of salads. Our Asian Chicken salad and our special potato salad are always in high demand.

After lunch, there will be another opportunity to explore the beach, hit the water, or just chillax to the max.

When the time comes, we’ll pick up anchor and sail back across the channel to St Maarten. If we have some spare time, we may even drop into Long Bay on the French Side of St Maarten for a quick stop at this beautiful, protected bay where the waters are calm and crystal clear.

We will have you back on the dock at Nowhere Special again in St Maarten by around 4:30 p.m.

The Fine Print

Anguilla is a sovereign nation, independent of St Maarten.  We have no choice in the matter. When traveling to Anguilla from St Maarten, we must clear customs and immigration on the way out of St Maarten, and upon entering Anguilla (and vice versa). The authorities do make it as easy as possible but we must still abide by the formalities.

We kindly request that you send us a copy of your passport at least 24 hours in advance of your departure, so that we may complete the required paperwork. Just a photo or scan will suffice. We will take care of the administrative work to do the appropriate clearance.

Unfortunately, there is a cost charged by the local authorities. As of Dec 1st, 2020, it is $USD30 per passenger. This fee is paid directly to the relevant authorities in St Maarten and Anguilla.  We absolutely do not ‘mark up’ the cost of immigration fees.

Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you have any special dietary requirements. We will do our best to accommodate special requests with prior notice.

If you or any of your party have significant mobility issues or medical conditions, please contact us before booking. We are always willing to accommodate all guests and we will do what we can to assist. However, due to the nature of boating and the unpredictability of the seas, not all things are possible. We do regret that our boat is NOT rated as ‘Wheelchair Accessible’.

Please call ahead, if any of the above applies. We will do what we can to assist, if we can.

Quality Time is a very spacious sailing catamaran that can take up to 60 guests for day charters around St. Maarten and to Anguilla or St. Barth's.

Check-in for the charter is at Bobby's Marina, Philipsburg, only a 15 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal.

We also offer departure from Simpson Bay if going to Anguilla or Prickly Pear for the day.

For the charter, we can go over to the French side and visit Tintamarre island and also Pinel island. Both are beautiful little islands with great beaches and snorkeling. Or we can go along the Leeward coast and visit Long Bay beach, Mullet Bay beach and also cruise passed famous Maho beach where planes land close to the beach. We choose the best itinerary according to the weather.

We can also go to Anguilla, Prickly Pear or even St. Barth’s.

Come and sail on Lambada, spend the day relaxing, partying, swimming, snorkeling and making vacation memories in this hidden tropical paradise.

Our friendly crew will welcome you at our marina in Simpson Bay, where you will board a 63 foot (19 meter) catamaran called Lambada. Find your favorite spot on the deck and relax as we sail toward Anguilla. Soak up the sun with a rum punch in your hand or enjoy the cool breeze in the shade.

As we sail around Anguilla, we will discover the nearby island of Prickly Pear. Its gorgeous white sand beaches and vivid turquoise water will astonish you and you will feel keen to dive into the sea as soon as we arrive. Grab the provided snorkeling gear and discover the beautiful underwater world and abundant corals or enjoy an other drink under a palm tree.

We will sail back to mainland Anguilla to experience an other beach. We will serve you a traditional Caribbean barbecue chicken, ribs or fish lunch at a beach restaurant. You will still have plenty of time afterwards to enjoy the beach or the warm, shallow water before we head back to St. Maarten. 

Lambada is a great choice for families with children, couples and party groups. There is a dinghy that transports people to the beach if you do not swim or prefer to be transported with your bag. Climbing in and out of dinghies should be possible for you if you wish to enjoy this trip. We advise you to bring extra cash along for additional drinks at the restaurant.

96+ hours: Full Refund

Shore Excursions:

All cancellations of, or changes are subject to applicable restrictions. Tour times and dates may vary based on volume or availability. To the exclusion of tours identified at www.islandroutes.com as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, there exists no relationship of master and servant or of agency between the Operators of tours and either Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, or the hotel. Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, do not operate the tours, and for these purposes, the Operators of tours are independent contractors. The Operators of tours are solely responsible for their acts and omissions and Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, assume no responsibility for such acts and omissions, or for any injury, loss, damage, sickness or accidents sustained on any of the tours offered for sale , including but not limited to any that occur on and/or during the tour, as well as before and after as part of and/or during transport to/from the tour ‐ again, to the exclusion of tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours. Without any exclusion, however, Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, shall not assume any responsibility for injury, loss or damage to any person that voluntarily participates in cliff diving at any location, including but not limited to Dunn's River Falls or Rick's Café, and/or to any person who voluntarily stops as part of and/or during transport to/from a tour at an unintended destination, meaning one that is separate and apart from the scheduled tour and/or destination. Individuals proceeding in such manner assume any and all responsibility and risk, as this is not a recommended activity. Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, in addition shall not assume any responsibility for the loss or damage to money, jewelry, clothing or other valuables that have not been tendered to Management for safe keeping. Please note, for your safety, Guest will not be allowed to participate in helicopter tours and/or transfers if they have undertaken any diving exercise within 24hrs prior to departure of said tour/transfer.

LIMITATION OF DAMAGES

Guest HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES that Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, and the hotel, their parent corporation, affiliates, subsidiaries, insurers, directors, officers, employees, successors, assigns, agents or representatives, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE to Guest for liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense in any circumstances, for: (A) ANY PERSONAL INJURIES OR PROPERTY DAMAGE ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY ANY ACT OR OMISSION ON THE PART OF ANY Guest(s) and/or Operators of tours, excluding tours identified as being owned by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours; (B) EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, MENTAL SUFFERING, OR PSYCHOLOGICAL INJURY OF ANY KIND; OR (C) ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. This specifically includes but is not limited to liabilities, claims, actions, damages, cost or expense ARISING OUT OF OR CAUSED BY food or drink consumed at third party facilities belonging to third party Operators of tours.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours cannot guarantee that it will satisfy special requests and we are not responsible if such requests are not met.

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Persons with Disabilities: Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours cannot guarantee that transfer vehicles or tour sites are wheelchair accessible. However, if informed, we will endeavor to make the necessary arrangements. This may however come at an additional cost.

VENUE AND CHOICE OF LAW

ALL CLAIMS WHATSOEVER AGAINST SUNISLAND ROUTES AND/OR ISLAND ROUTES TOURS, ITS AFFILIATES, PARENT COMPANY, SUBSIDIARIES, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR CONTRACTORS, ARISING FROM, IN CONNECTION WITH, OR INCIDENTAL TO THE CONTRACT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE FORMATION, INTERPRETATION, CONSTRUCTION, WAIVER, MODIFICATION, PERFORMANCE, DISCHARGE, OR BREACH OF THE CONTRACT, OR THE EXISTENCE, EXTENT, OR BREACH OF ANY FIDUCIARY DUTY, OR ANY DUTY IN TORT OR PURSUANT TO ANY STATUTE, SHALL BE LITIGATED SOLELY AND EXCLUSIVELY IN THE COUNTRY IN WHICH THE EXCURSION AND/OR TOUR IS OPERATED, AND SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE COUNTRY IN WHICH THE EXCURSION AND/OR TOUR IS OPERATED WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CHOICE OF LAW PRINCIPLES THEREOF.

USE OF GUEST'S LIKENESS

The undersigned Guest(s) irrevocably consents to and authorizes the use and reproduction by Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes, or anyone authorized by Island Routes, of any and all photographic, video and other visual portrayal(s) of the undersigned Guest(s), their child or ward, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to use in magazines, brochures, flyers, television, internet, and websites displays without further reference or compensation. All rights, title and interest therein (including all worldwide copyrights therein) shall be the sole property of Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes, or anyone authorized by Island Routes, free from any claims by the undersigned Guest(s) and or any person deriving any rights or interest from such Guest, AND each undersigned Guest(s) UNDERSTANDS AND HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY SO AGREES.

COMPLIANCE WITH LOCAL LAW

Guest is responsible for knowing, obeying and complying with the laws and regulations of their destination, and neither Sunisland Routes and/or Island Routes Tours, nor any Tour Supplier, nor the hotel, has any duty to inform or warn Guest about the destination's laws and/or regulations.

This agreement is governed by the laws of Jamaica. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Jamaica, in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of this Website. Use of this Website is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including, without limitation, this paragraph.

You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Island Routes Caribbean Adventures as a result of this agreement or use of this Web site.
