Vanderpump Rules Recap: Row, Row, Row Your Boat…

On Vanderpump Rules last night Jax Taylor decided that, for once, he was gonna work the rumor-mill to his favor, and play a game of telephone with the story of Katie Maloney  “motorboating the crotch region of a gentleman.” Yes, I just typed that. And yes, that is a direct quote. And yes, we will be using that phrase many more times through this recap. You’ve been warned!

Jax is recovering from his nose job, and as he deals with the debilitating pain of a deviated septum he realizes there’s been just one person who hasn’t reached out, who hasn’t checked in on his recovery: Katie . He broods over muddled ginger at the SUR bar, and every time he feels the bandage tape creating friction across his oily pores, his anger increases just a little bit: it goes from beer, to wine, to whiskey, finally distilling into pure moonshine. And then he snaps: how dare she! How dare Katie not only ignore him in his time of need, but how dare she choose Stassi Schroeder ‘ s side over his. And even worse, how dare she attempt to keep Tom 2 away from him, dammit! Besides, Tom 2 wants to be away from Katie – not Jax.

And yes, it very well seems to be true that Tom 2 hasn’t the slightest bit of interest in being Mr. Katie Maloney . In fact, he’s tried everything to subtly send the message that yeah, marriage ain’t happening: he’s stopped putting out, he started living out of a bookbag under the pretense that he had to nurse Jax back to premium nasal health, he quit his job at PUMP to loaf around and play video games, and when Katie mentioned having babies – and ruin his perfect figure?! – he decided it was time, after much dithering to get a dog. Aaahhhh… you know what they say: Adopt don’t shop! Meaning adopt a dog, don’t shop for a ring. 

Katie loves the dog. She is not, however, temporarily pacified as she describes this as one more “step forward” to getting engaged. Girl… you have been drinking the Kristen Kool-Aid for the Delusionally Insane. This boy, Tom 2 , he’s just not that into you. Good thing someone else wants your face in their crotch! 

Tom 2  does pick a cute dog, he brings Tom 1 and Ariana Madix along for the ride. Ariana is smirking the entire time. Ariana is dying inside from laughter – Kristen Doute is gonna marry Jax before Tom 2 proposes to Katie . Actually, Kristen and Jax are probably on their way to Vegas right now, in a drunken stupor, at drive-thru Elvis chapel. She in a white bikini and go-go boots, he in a perfectly re-done nose that looks exactly the same as his old nose. Is that the mark of good plastic surgery or bad? Whatever the case, Jax acts like he is the only person in Beverly Hills to ever get a nose job – he shows up at SUR with tape over his nose seeking all the attention and sympathy in the world for the plight of his poor schnoz. 

When Katie comes over to fulfill a drink order, Jax  yells at her for not reaching out. She says, for her boyfriend, who is sooooo serious about her, she’s checking in now. Jax accuses Katie of needing a nose job next – to remove her nose from Stassi’s butt. Scheana Marie Almost Famous , loitering nearby, agrees. And then Jax formulates a plan – he’s gonna tell everybody that if Katie is so desperate to become Mr. Tom 2 , then he should at least know about her cheating. Oh Jax… hypocrites never prosper! 

Apparently Katie has ditched all her friends for Stassi , and now they just sit around plotting their future weddings and re-enacting them with Barbie dolls in Stassi’s immaculate new, fancy apartment. Katie be le jealous. 

Also back at work after suspension are  Kristen and Tom 1 .  Ken and Lisa Vanderpump  are unhappy to see Kristen. Damn Bravo contracts. 

Since Stassi is unemployed Lisa invites her to SUR for lunch, where Scheana Marie eye rolls through serving them, hair flipping into Stassi’s pinot grigio. Lisa asks Stassi if she’d like to be her stylist for a magazine cover and in exchange Stassi can use it on her resume. Stassi doesn’t really style Lisa – Lisa pulls her own wardrobe and basically has Stassi schlep it around and help her into it. Stassi complains that this job is so beneath her because she’s forced to dress  Giggy , and run errands in the heat, and Lisa isn’t letting her wear the princess tiara. Look Stassi – Rachel Zoe you are not, so don’t quit your day job at SUR and stop being such an ungrateful biatch: you got contacts from this gig and a great opportunity to put this on your resume. Frankly, that’s really saying something considering your very questionable fashion sense. 

Back at SUR, Jax has the rumor mill in full swing. He reminds Scheana of that time they saw Katie drunk and motorboating some guy’s crotch at a bar. Scheana is like OH YEAH and then she kissed his neck! But  Tom 2 doesn’t know about this – and Jax could SO tell him, SO ruin Katie’s life! Then Jax tells Kristen, who is just absolutely shocked that Katie was so mean to her about cheating when Katie is a cheater too! Katie put her lips on some guys penis in a bar, on video, and everyone saw it. EVERYONE! Everyone but Tom 2, that is! 

Scheana is smirking, because all those times Katie mocked her relationship to The Incredible Sulk , Shay , Scheana is engaged and Katie can’t even get a man to drive passed Jared! Plus, Scehana’s love photos on instagram are real whereas Katie’s are a farce because she’s been having an affair in the dumpster behind SUR with… well, she really can’t reveal but it was bad and everyone knows about it… But Tom 2 !

The next day, Tom 1 , Jax , Ariana , and Scheana  have a pool party which turns into a meeting of the We Hate Katie club, complete with animal-themed floaties and squirt guns. Afterwards Tom 1 and Jax tell Tom 2 about Katie’s indiscretion. He’s not really that shocked. I mean he knows Katie has to get some somewhere and it was only motorboating a gentleman’s crotch for goodness sake. 

But Kristen  is fighting mad – on a work break she confronts Katie about how she misses their friendship, but Katie is like I have Stassi now and I never really liked you anyway. Which is the perfect time for Kristen to remind Katie that everyone knows she’s been having a decades- long affair with the president of Brazil in the bathroom at PUMP. And everyone saw it! EVERYONE CREDIBLE SAW IT! Scheana , Jax … the list goes on! Katie is like uh – I was tying my shoe near someone’s penis but you slept with Stassi’s boyfriend twice, so not the same thing! No one even knows my crotch motorboater. 

Over lunch the following day Katie tells Stassi and Annonymous Stassi Schroeder Cronie No 1 , that she’s being labeled a cheater. Stassi demands that Katie force Tom 2 to stop hanging out with Jax . Katie meekly agrees. Then she gets a text from Tom 2, who is riding bikes with Jax and Tom 1 . It turns out Jax’s daddy didn’t pay his insurance and now Jax legally can’t drive. *side eye* 

The Toms and Jax  crash Katie’s lunch, which is cue for Stassi to run away with mullet-hem skirt between her legs. Jax plops down at the table, Katie confronts him for calling her a cheater, and Jax is like yeah – I saw you cheat on Tom 2 , and he deserves better than your skanky-ness, now pass the ketchup! 

Meanwhile Tom 2 doesn’t bother to defend Katie , whom he loves so much. Tom 1 tries to keep the fighting to a minimum because dang – don’t ruin a man’s lunch. Katie sniffles and whines outside the restaurant and Tom 2 is like you brought it up, so just go home – it’s fine, no one cares about Jax – except Tom 2 because he ditches Katie to go hang out with Jax and Tom 1 again, and then is like leave Katie alone – she only motorboated one d–k, you guys! He seems to find the entire thing kind of laughable.  

For two cheaters, Jax and Tom 1 are mighty concerned about Katie possibly cheating. I mean, I can see that they just don’t like Katie, but hmmm… 

TELL US – IS MOTORBOATING A GENTLEMAN’S CROTCH CONSIDERED CHEATING? IS JAX WRONG TO BE SPREADING RUMORS (DO WE CARE?)

Every Cheating Accusation That Rocked ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Over the Years

For a show sparked by a cheating scandal, it shouldn’t be a shock that the cast of Vanderpump Rules isn’t afraid to throw out an infidelity accusation — but not even Andy Cohen could predict that the series would still be delivering jaw-dropping scandals after a decade on air.

Fans were introduced to the staff at Lisa Vanderpump ’s restaurant SUR via a backdoor pilot on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2013. The episode began with Lisa’s then- RHOBH costar Brandi Glanville confronting SURver Scheana Shay about her past relationship with Eddie Cibrian . (Brandi and Eddie were married from 2001 to 2009, calling it quits when he had an affair with LeAnn Rimes .)

The cheating theme continued throughout the series. Season 1 documented Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor ’s tumultuous relationship, with the bartender repeatedly denying that he strayed amid claims he got another woman pregnant in Las Vegas. During the first season’s finale, Jax admitted to cheating on Stassi.

Jax’s indiscretions didn’t slow down over the years. During season 2, he confessed to sleeping with Kristen Doute amid her relationship with Tom Sandoval and during season 6, he was caught cheating on (now-wife) Brittany Cartwright with Faith Stowers .

“I see him every single day making efforts and he’s completely changed the way he treats me, the way he talks to me, the way he listens to me. Every single thing about our relationship is better,” Brittany told Us Weekly in 2018 about learning how to trust Jax again. “I know how much he’s wanting the wedding and how much he’s wanting to marry me, how much effort he’s putting into the wedding, just as much as me. I don’t know, whenever you know somebody as well as I know Jax, you can just tell.”

Jax and Brittany moved past the Faith scandal and wed in June 2019, but his past with Kristen was never forgotten by fans. The affair broke up Kristen and Sandoval for good and was surrounded by a series of other allegations, including the Schwartz and Sandy’s co-owner cheating on Kristen with a bottle service waitress and allegedly having an affair with Ariana Madix . While Sandoval admitted to not being completely faithful to Kristen over the years, he and Ariana denied anything but a kiss happened between them .

The pair did, however, go on to date for nine years, confirming their relationship at the season 2 reunion. At the time, Andy asked Ariana if she worried about Sandoval’s past as he admitted to “cheating on Kristen a few times.”

“I’ve been friends with him for three years. I know him really well. It’s not a thing for me — at all,” she responded during the February 2014 episode.

Scheana’s Pre-Show Romance With Eddie

The “What I Like” songstress told Us in 2013 that her relationship with the actor was “a mess.”

“Seven years ago, I met Eddie, and six or eight months go by and I find out that he’s married and I call him out. He lied at first about it and then he admitted it. So I stopped talking to him for a long time,” she said at the time, noting that she “ended things” for good when she learned he married the country singer in 2011.

Jax Cheats on Stassi in Vegas

After insisting he wasn’t unfaithful throughout season 1, Jax admitted during the finale that he cheated on Stassi in Las Vegas.

Stassi Cheats on Jax With Frank

It took Stassi years to admit that Jax wasn’t the only one who cheated in their messy romance, revealing that she slept with Frank Herlihy before things were over with Jax.

“This is so awful — I lied to Andy Cohen,” Stassi said during a 2016 “Uncensored” episode of the Bravo show. “I just had to say no and fight to the death. … It would be so like Jax, after freshly impregnating someone in Vegas, to make me look like I'm the bad guy.”

Andy was shook by the admission at the time. “Wow, so Stassi was lying,” he said on the episode. “She looked me right in the eyes!”

Kristen and Jax Sleep Together

A major story line in season 2 was a rumor that Jax and Kristen hooked up while he was trying to get back together with Stassi — and Kristen was still dating Sandoval. After repeatedly denying the claims, Kristen confessed as Jax gave Stassi access to their text messages. The scandal resulted in Stassi slapping Kristen, Sandoval punching Jax and fans never looking at the movie Drive the same way (as Kristen and Jax were watching the Ryan Gosling movie when one of the hookups went down).

Sandoval and Ariana’s Kiss at the Golden Nugget

Around the same time as the Jax and Kristen scandal, the former T-shirt designer insisted that her then-boyfriend was cheating on her with Ariana. While the twosome denied the claims, Sandoval eventually admitted that he kissed Ariana in Sin City but denied that they slept together before his relationship with Kristen ended.

Kristen’s Affair With an Unnamed SUR Employee

During the season 2 reunion, Sandoval alleged that Kristen was having an emotional and sexual affair with another SUR employee. She admitted to having an inappropriate relationship with their coworker during a rough patch with Sandoval.

Sandoval Hooks Up With Bottle Service Girl

Sandoval and Kristen both admitted to being unfaithful throughout their romance, with the bartender confessing during the season 2 reunion that he hooked up with a bottle service waitress in Vegas.

‘Miami Girl’ Claims to Have Sex With Sandoval

After Sandoval and Ariana started dating between seasons 2 and 3, Kristen returned with a vengeance, flying out a woman named Annemarie who claimed to have slept with Sandoval during his romance with Ariana. The then-couple fled SUR when “Miami Girl” arrived.

“I almost wish I didn’t [leave]. The reason why we left is because we felt like production was pulling this whole thing. We were, like, ‘Oh, so random people just show up now,’” Ariana told Us in 2021. “I do regret, I guess just not fully calling out the whole real story, like on camera and staying there.”

The TomTom co-owner denied the claims at the time and years later.

Schwartz’s Drunk Makeouts Part 1

During season 3, Schwartz was accused of making out with one of Jax’s then-girlfriend Tiffany’s pals and one of Scheana’s friends during his romance with Katie. He confessed to drunkenly making out with someone else as the rumors made waves at the restaurant.

Katie Accused of ‘Motorboating’ a Dude

Jax claimed in a 2014 episode that Katie was seen “motorboating” a man when Schwartz wasn’t there. Scheana, who accused Katie of "inappropriate behavior" at the time, later apologized to her costar.

“I never once said she cheated. I said what I saw. After talking to Katie about it, I realize that it wasn't what it seemed. When she bent down to take her shoes off, her head was in that region. Also, in her drunken state when she was dancing shaking her head back and forth it definitely looked like she was ‘motorboating’ this guy,” Scheana wrote in a Bravo blog at the time. “She DID NOT cheat. … I simply felt like she crossed the line. Schwartz doesn't care so no one else should either. They had a rough summer with their relationship, and I apologize for any part, small or large, I may have had in that.”

Jax Cheats on Tiffany in San Diego

After trying to juggle relationships with both Carmen Dickman and Tiffany Matthews during season 3, Sandoval alleged that Jax cheated on Tiffany during a boy’s trip to San Diego — at a hotel that Tiffany helped book for the crew.

James Is Unfaithful to Kristen With Jenna

During season 4, James lied to Kristen’s face and “promised” her that he didn’t sleep with SUR employee Jenna Willis.

“At this point, I’m just lying to Kristen for her own good because I know if I tell her the entire truth, it’s just going to devastate her,” he said during a 2015 episode. “The truth is, Jenna and I were definitely boning.”

Kristen wrote about the scandal in her book, revealing she caught him via an Uber receipt. “Passwords on iTunes are Steve Jobs’ gift that keeps on giving,” she wrote. “See, Apple passwords are all connected. The passwords to your iTunes, your iCloud, and your iPhone tracker are exactly the same.”

Lala and James Secretly Sleep Together

It would be eight years before James and Lala Kent admitted to being intimate, but the musicians slept together during season 4 — at the beginning of his romance with Raquel and her relationship with Randall Emmett .

Jax and Lala Deny Hooking Up

During season 4, Jax was accused of getting together with Lala after he had started dating Brittany. The twosome denied that anything but innocent flirting happened.

“I think in season 4 before Brittany had come into Vanderpump Rules, there was flirting going on. But nothing ever happened, not even a kiss, like nothing at all happened ever,” Lala later said on her podcast. “There was a scene in season four, at the very beginning, where I went to have drinks with Jax, [Scheana] and [Kristen], and I had my hand on Jax’s leg. And everyone was like, ‘She’s doing something naughty.’ And I wasn’t. And then I had my person I was so in love with at the time, pick me up.”

James Accused of Cheating on Raquel With Several SUR Employees

Fans met Raquel during season 5. Over the years, the DJ denied being unfaithful to the pageant queen with SUR employees named GG, Ellie and Hope . After his split from Raquel, he admitted to the affair with Lala and played coy about straying elsewhere.

Jax alleged that Brittany and Kristen got intimate during season 5. The two women denied that anything but a “drunk kiss” happened.

Lala Starts Dating Married Randall

During season 5, Lala refused to reveal the name of her “man,” who she had started seeing off screen, and vehemently denied that she was having an affair with someone who was married. Lala and Randall got engaged in 2018. Several years later, they broke up and Lala claimed to learn the “truth” about Randall’s relationship with wife Ambyr Childers.  

Jax Has Sex With Faith

During the season 6 premiere, Faith alleged she had sex with Jax amid his relationship with Brittany. While he denied the claims at first, Jax later confessed.

“He comes over at 3 in the afternoon, middle of the day, he was out running errands in my area, so I’m thinking, ‘OK, nothing’s gonna happen.’ I was in the room writing music, so I had my recorder on. I let him come over, he comes into the room and it was almost immediate,” Faith told Us in December 2017. “When he gave me a hug, I have on shorts on — it’s hot, it’s summer — he grabs my butt and I’m like, ‘Jax, what are you doing?’ He goes, ‘Oh, you know, Faith, you know I’ve been wanting this for a long time’ … He’s almost begging, but it was not in a disgusting or dirty way. It was like, he just really needed to talk to me and as he’s talking to me, he’s grabbing on me. One thing led to another. It happened so fast that … We weren’t worried about protection, we weren’t worried about anything, it was just so fast.”

Schwartz’s Drunk Makeouts Part 2

After they wed during season 5, Schwartz admitted during season 6 that he had drunkenly made out with one of Lala’s friends.

“I’m so embarrassed. It’s like, especially for my age and maybe if I was single and 22, that would be OK. Rob Denies Kissing Toca Madera Hostess

During season 6, Scheana’s then-boyfriend Rob Valletta was accused of kissing the hostess at the Mexican restaurant Toca Madera. He denied the claims when the show aired in 2018 and again during a January 2023 appearance on Scheana’s podcast.

Pillows Point to Kristen and James Hooking Up

The former couple came under fire during season 6 after Jax suggested they hooked up during the cast trip to Mexico. James was with Raquel at the time, while Kristen was dating now-ex Brian Carter.

“Schwartz, James and I were all in the room together and Ariana actually watched the three of us leave on bicycles to go to the beach … I think what happened is James ended up going back to the suite … I was never there … It was like a game of Vanderpump Rules telephone,” Kristen told Us in 2018. “Although it’s not true, whether it’s true or not, it’s a very frustrating and upsetting conversation for [Carter] because he doesn’t deserve this.”

Lala and Ariana’s Backseat Hookup

Sandoval exposed that his then-girlfriend hooked up with Lala during season 7.

“Ariana and Lala had been out all day drinking, and they’re wasted. They’re in my car, and Lala goes, ‘Sorry, Sando, I’m just in love with your girl right now. Ariana, will you come in the back seat? I just want to eat your p—y,’” he said on a 2019 episode. “Ariana climbs in the back and Lala just starts going to f—king town.”

Ariana denied that the hookup counted as cheating as Sandoval was present — and invited to join.

“I’m on the same page as you. I was also physically touching him and trying to get him involved. When that was obvi not going to happen, it stopped,” she tweeted at the time. “There’s nothing shady about it. People always want to shove everyone else into their own little boxes.”

While it happened off screen, the movie producer allegedly cheating on Lala became a story line when she declared she didn’t want any of her costars to stay friendly with Randall. He denied the claims against him.

Raquel and Oliver

While filming season 10, news broke that Raquel made out with Garcelle Beauvais’ eldest son, Oliver Saunders , who works at SUR. Oliver’s wife, Samantha Saunders , slammed him on social media at the time.

“I have been told to stay SILENT! DIVORCE — @iamoliversaunders since Oliver has started working at @vanderpumpparis he has disrespected me and my kids in every way possible,” Samantha wrote via Instagram. “He has made jokes about my mental health and suicidal thoughts with coworkers. He has committed adultery with coworkers and guests of the restaurant.”

Raquel later said she was “misled” by Oliver.

Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 5 Recap: Does Katie Maloney Motorboat Crotch?

Last night on Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 5, Kristen and Tom returned to work at SUR after being suspended, while Stassi was given a big opportunity by Lisa.

Meanwhile, Tom Schwartz made a HUGE commitment (well, for him anyway) in hopes of appeasing Katie’s concerns, while she also faced some hard core accusations.

What did those consist of, and how did everything go down (sort of literally)?

Picking up where Episode 4 left off, Vanderpump Rules Season 3 Episode 5 saw Schwartz try to get out of the doghouse after quitting his job at PUMP spectacularly.

To show he can commit to stuff, while also delaying marriage talks with Katie Maloney, he adopted a rescue dog! Which was silly looking but so, SO cute.

So cute, in fact, that she envisioned the puppy as the ring bearer in the wedding Tom desperately wants to avoid thinking about! So that totes backfired!

Meanwhile, if you watch Vanderpump Rules online , you know Lisa Vanderpump and Stassi Schroeder are often at odds. Well, this week things are good.

In fact, Lisa hired Stassi to be her stylist for a photo shoot, a gesture she felt was generous as the youngster could put the experience on her resume.

Yet Stassi didn’t see it that way, feeling Lisa treated her like an assistant and not a professional. Lisa, for her part, felt her former staffer was ungrateful.

All of that took a back seat to the drama with Katie and Jax Taylor , however.

According to Jax and Scheana Marie, not only is it possible to motorboat someone’s crotch, but Katie did just that, between some unidentified actor’s legs!

Jax began relaying that Katie had cheated on Schwartz in this manner, a dubious claim because it’s Jax, a man who lies like he gets pointless nose jobs.

Still, Scheana claimed she saw the entire incident, so the rumors spread.

Sadly, the actor who supposedly had his crotch motorboated by Katie Maloney was never revealed, but Jax and the accused motorboater had words.

When Tom Sandoval , Tom Schwartz and Jax joined Katie for brunch, Sandoval and Jax just grilled her on this alleged incident, while Schwartz did nothing.

Seriously. He just freaking sat there while Jax tore his girlfriend a new one.

Beyond whimpering “Bubby” a few times (whatever the heck that means), he did not stick up for his girl one iota … or ask if the rumor was true for that matter.

Katie eventually stormed off after getting railroaded by that douche Jax.

When Tom Schwartz ran after her, did he at least defend her stance or comfort her? No, he told her that she was basically the instigator in all of this.

Now there’s a standup guy. Totes future fiance and husband material.

Let's not forget that we owe this entire series to Scheana Shay 's affair with actor Eddie Cibrian , who was married at the time to former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ' star Brandi Glanville . Scheana dated him while Brandi was pregnant with their second child, and the two women's dramatic sitdown at SUR—coordinated by Lisa Vanderpump , naturally—was the segue from one episode of RHOBH to Vanderpump Rules . Sneakiest (and messiest) crossover ever!

Jax Taylor With a Las Vegas Partier

After denying he cheated on then-girlfriend Stassi Schroeder throughout the entire first season, Jax Taylor admits in the finale that, yes, actually he did cheat on her in Las Vegas and got the other woman pregnant. 

His admission stunned Stassi and the rest of the cast that had defended and sided with him in the breakup.

One of the show's most infamous hookups went down in season two, when Jax confessed to sleeping with  Kristen Doute , Stassi's best friend who happened to be dating his best friend Tom Sandoval .

Though Kristen initially refuted the claim, she finally admitted that they hooked up (but never kissed) during the finale. Oh, and it went down while Tom was sleeping in the other room and they were watching the Ryan Gosling movie Drive . This all culminated in Stassi delivering her now-infamous slap across Kristen's face, while Tom punched Jax. 

Seasons later, Kristen later admitted to cheating on Tom throughout their six-year relationship.

Tom Sandoval With Ariana Madix

After Ariana Madix joined the cast in season two, Kristen quickly had suspicions about Tom's friendship with his fellow bartender. While the pair denied ever hooking up while Tom was dating Kristen—responding to the SUR waitress' continued worries, Ariana infamously declared, "I'm smarter than you. I'm prettier than you. Get the f--Get the f--k over it"—Tom eventually admitted during the season two reunion that he and Ariana made out in a pool when they were both in Las Vegas.

When asked by Andy Cohen  if she worried about Tom's past after he confessed to "cheating on Kristen a few times," Ariana said, "I've been friends with him for three years. I know him really well. It's not a thing for me—at all." (Sigh.)

Tom Sandoval With Miami Girl

After Tom and Ariana announced they were officially together, Kristen revealed in season three that a woman reached out to her on Instagram claiming to have hooked up with Tom while he was in Miami with Jax and Schwartz. Kristen even brought "Miami Girl" into SUR to confront Tom, but Ariana didn't take the allegation seriously after Tom vehemently denied the claims and the couple left.

At the time, however, Jax seemingly threw his friend under the bus by backing up the claim. And after Tom and Ariana's 2023 breakup, Jax, who left the show in 2020, tweeted a cryptic message.

"I've called a lot of things on that show that people never believed," he wrote. "Everything I say always ends being true."

After Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney got married in 2016, he confessed to drunkenly making out with one of Lala Kent 's friends in season six.

When Schwartz was asked about the story, his memory was fuzzy. "There's no way. No, it couldn't have been," he says in a 2018 episode. "Yeah, I remember going to The Bungalow, but I definitely don't remember making out with anybody. I got s--tfaced that night, I remember that."

Schwartz later addresses his behavior in a confessional, admitting, "I truly and honestly am baffled."

But it wasn't the first time Schwartz cheated on Katie while he was blackout drunk, admitting to kissing another woman while he was inebriated in season three. 

After 12 years together, Katie and Schwartz announced their breakup in March 2022. 

Katie Maloney With a Random Dude?

In a 2014 episode, Jax claimed Katie cheated on Schwartz by "motorboating" an unnamed man, sharing that he'd heard the story from Scheana. Katie was furious over the allegation and Scheana eventually apologized to her co-star.

"I never once said she cheated. I said what I saw," Scheana wrote in a Bravo blog. "After talking to Katie about it, I realize that it wasn't what it seemed. When she bent down to take her shoes off, her head was in that region. Also, in her drunken state when she was dancing shaking her head back and forth it definitely looked like she was 'motorboating' this guy. She DID NOT cheat...I simply felt like she crossed the line."

After some serious sleuthing—including looking at Uber receipts—Kristen deduced her boyfriend James Kennedy cheated on her with one of Scheana's friends in season four. He denied it to her face, only saying they may have kissed,  but later admitted in an interview, "The truth is, Jenna and I were definitely boning." And a new iconic .GIF was born!

But that wasn't the only time James cheated on Kristen, as the DJ also hooked up with Lala (who believed he was single at the time) and another SUR hostess, Lauren, who was in a relationship with  another  employee at the restaurant.

After his breakup with Kristen, James began dating student and beauty pageant contestant Raquel Leviss in season five. The pair quickly faced cheating allegations when Scheana and Kristen crashed one of James' DJ gigs with three former SUR empoyees who all claimed that they hooked up with him (they even took photos of James sleeping) while he was dating Raquel.

James denied all of the women's stories and he and Raquel continued to date, eventually calling off their engagement in 2021 after five years together. Following their split, James confessed to having sex with Lala at the beginning of his relationship with Raquel.

"For some reason, I was very naive back in the day and I thought James never cheated on me," Raquel told E! News in February . "But this clarified that he definitely has cheated on me multiple times. That was definitely a hard pill to swallow."

Jax Taylor With Faith Stowers

It was another season, another cheating scandal for Jax in 2017 when he fessed up to hooking up with former SUR waitress Faith Stowers . Though he initially denied it in the season six premiere, Jax came clean after his then-girlfriend Brittany Cartwright confronted him—all while wearing a Taco Bell sweatshirt. 

"This isn't my first time being caught cheating," Jax said in a solo interview. "In the past, I've gone through months and months of deny, deny, deny, and that didn't work for me." He went on to say that he and Brittany had hit a rough patch (which was seen on their 2017 spinoff, Jax & Brittany   Take Kentucky ), which led him to hook up with Faith.

Jax's admission, of course, devastated Brittany, who delivered her infamous "Rot in hell!" line in response. While Brittany initially broke up with Jax, the couple quickly reconciled and ended up getting married in June 2019. They  welcomed their son Cruz two years later.

Tom Sandoval With Raquel Leviss

The BCU (Bravo Cinematic Universe) was shaken on March 3, 2023, when it was confirmed that Tom and Ariana had ended their nine-year relationship amid the revelation that he'd had a seven-month affair with Raquel. 

"I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love," the TomTom co-owner  wrote in an apology  on Instagram March 8. "No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly."

He added, "My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends."

Raquel also issued a public apology to Ariana , saying she had "no excuse" for her actions. In a follow-up statement, Raquel addressed the future of her relationship with Tom.

"I need to take care of my health, work on self-growth and take time to be ok with being alone," Raquel told E! News in a statement . "I care for Tom, and I don't want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now, I need to heal."
