- Maurizio Cavuoto Captain - Italian Captain Maurizio was born near Cesenatico on the central-northern Adriatic Sea and began his career at sea on fishing boats in 1979 and soon moved on to commercial vessels. His desire to experiment, together with his competence, preparation and experience, lead him to also carry out passenger services in the Mediterranean. He finally arrived in the world of private and commercial pleasure boats in 2007 and stands out for his reliability, preparation and priority attention to safety, so much so that he personally takes care of the related technical aspects on board. - Claudia Bartoletti Deckhand - Italian For Claudia, the sea is energy to absorb and life to savor. With years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, she has developed skills in providing high-quality service, marked by courtesy and professionalism, ensuring an unforgettable experience for those on board. The 198-foot (60.35m) Feadship superyacht BLUE MOON is now listed for sale with Northrop & Johnson Yacht Brokers Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford. The yacht is listed for €43,900,000.

BLUE MOON is a truly remarkable superyacht. She was launched by Feadship in 2005, but has benefitted from constant and consistent upgrades, updates and care throughout her life courtesy of her adoring owner and her professional long-time crew. Some of her most recent modifications include a full superstructure repaint in 2018, the upgrade of her Quantum Zero Speed stabilizers to XT fin-type in 2019 and the repaint of her hull and main-deck bulwarks in 2021. The yacht’s interior and exterior both were designed by the renowned Donald Starkey. As such, BLUE MOON has won a variety of awards throughout her life, including “Best full-displacement motor yacht over 56 meters” at the 2006 ShowBoats Awards, among others.

In addition to providing the perfect on-water sanctuary for her owners, this pedigreed luxury motor yacht also has enjoyed a successful charter following. BLUE MOON’s exceptional features are certainly a draw. The yacht has a glass all-decks elevator, an observation lounge that provides sweeping views and a unique and flexible accommodations layout that can cater to almost any type of charter requirement. Moonen to build first 24m motor yacht in new superyacht series

Moonen Shipyards announces that it has signed a letter of intent to build the first 24m hull of a new series of superyachts.

Available in 18-, 20- and 24-metre versions, the new series of motor yachts is designed as for a new generation of Moonen owners. The series has been created in partnership with Moonen and designer Nick Mezas, who won a ShowBoats Design Awards 2011 Young Designer of the Year Judges Commendation for his project R&R . According to Moonen, the series was conceived in response to clients seeking, 'a cool new Moonen.' The yachts in the new series come in smaller than the Dutch yard's normal stock, and this order is placed on the heels of delivery of its largest yacht to date, the 42m, submarine-equipped Sofia . But the smaller size – and lower price point – along with the more aggressive and modern exterior styling are designed to appeal to a younger yacht owner.

The first to be built in the new series, the 24m Mallorca range, features design by Nick Mezas with naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design and interior design by Van Helmond|Zuidam Architecten. She will be built in aluminium with a round-bilge hull and will be powered by twin MAN V8-900 engines fitted with Volvo ZF4000 propulsion achieving a top speed of 22 knots. She will feature an open-plan layout on the main deck connecting the saloon and wheelhouse, and the master cabin and three guest staterooms can be found on the lower deck.

To complement this new smaller-superyacht series, Moonen has also rolled out a range of contemporary displacement yachts designed in collaboration with Rene van der Velden . The 42- and 49-metre yachts aim to come in under 500GT.

MID NIGHT MOON - The modern clean lines of the Horizon 85 have been skilfully created to maximise guests' comfort aboard. MIDNIGHT MOON is a magnificent, luxurious cruising yacht that offers the comfort, privacy, amenities and space one would typically only find on much larger motor yachts but without the associated running costs. The guests will appreciate the main deck, with all the primary living areas on a single level, including the massive aft deck with lounging for 8, a bar and ample storage lockers. The large saloon offers seating for 8, separate inside formal dining for 8, and gourmet galley. Forward on the main deck is the glamorous full beam master stateroom with walk around King bed, 180 degree views, spacious en-suite bathroom, sofa, vanity and ample storage. The lower decks offer 3 large queen VIP en-suite staterooms, port, starboard and forward. The Flybridge is an entertainers delight, with large comfortable dining / lounging for up to 10, a well equipped bar with seating for 5, a day head, separate BBQ area and dinghy stowage plus loads of room for chaise lounges once anchored off a secluded beach in an exotic location.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht MIDNIGHT MOON is a 87 ft motor yacht featuring a hot tub. MIDNIGHT MOON spends the summer and winter season in the Bahamas. She was constructed by the ship builder Horizon in 2018. A well-done refit was fulfilled in 2021. The spacious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and easily accommodates up to 8 guests.

MIDNIGHT MOON is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the yacht, the aft deck, elegantly connects to the the heart of the yacht - the main saloon. The main saloon is a well-design space for early mornings or late evenings and serves as a location of entertainment. 4 elegant cabins are purposefully laid out to allow for comfortable access and private setting.

Midnight Moon's super crew will instantly help you feel relaxed and welcomed on your luxurious floating home. The Crew will intrigue and entertain you with their great sense of humor, excellent hosting skills and passionate love for life as they take you on an adventure of a lifetime. Captain Eddie grew up boating with his family on the Long Island Sound and lakes throughout western Connecticut. Upon moving to Rhode Island he began sailing in the Narragansett Bay and Rhode Island Sound out of Newport. After delivering boats from Rhode Island to Florida and the British Virgin Islands it became apparent that it was time to turn his passion for the sea into a lifestyle. Eddie is a graduate of Johnson and Whales University in Providence, Rhode Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Concentration in Psychology. He has worked in fine dining restaurants for 14 years, and has held all positions from busboy to General Manager. He has also spent many years as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer. Eddie is easy going and enjoys conversation with adults and children alike on account of his kind nature and variety of life experiences. Chef Danielle learned to cook by following her Italian Grandmother and Chef mother around the kitchen. From there she continued to learn from hands on training with chefs in many restaurants in New England and Florida. She loves to create new twists on classic dishes using fresh and local ingredients. She grew up sailing and power boating in Narragansett Bay and Newport Rhode Island. It was easy to make this a lifestyle while living on the coast. Traveling around the globe and sailing the Caribbean has given her a knowledge of different cultures and a passion for meeting new people and experiences. After living in Hawaii while attending the University of Hawaii at Hilo, Danielle returned to Rhode Island and graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a degree in Sociology. Danielle has worked in the service and hospitality industry for over 20 years working in several fine dining restaurants. She brings with her the knowledge and expertise for providing superior customer service, wine pairings, and restaurant quality meals. Eddie and Danielle are joined by a mate/stewardess.
