Everything in the luxurious yet soothingly zen interior by Mark Berryman has been carefully designed to create a warm and welcoming environment. Guests will be wowed by the gorgeous bridge deck lounge, featuring rich leather flooring perfectly combined with mild brown wood panels and cabinetry. Large U-shaped sofas, a cinema screen and a dining table are an invitation to relax and socialise with family and friends.

NAIA has a dedicated owner's penthouse deck hosting the master suite with panoramic views, office, private exterior terraces forward and aft, and a stunning bathroom featuring elements of bamboo and light stone. A further six double guests cabins, four of which convert to twins, plus a single cabin with additional pullman berth are all on the main deck benefiting from plenty of natural light and outstanding views. An elevator serves all decks.

Spend the day gazing at the pristine surroundings from the helipad convertible into an extensive sun lounging area with stylish loose furniture. It is also fully certified to land a helicopter on charter. If you wish to get some exercise, the adjacent gym has all the latest equipment and a large central jacuzzi.

NAIA comes with an exhilarating fleet of tenders and all the watertoys to keep everyone active. Exploration and diving are a highlight on board thanks to an extensive inventory of equipment and dedicated diving room. Her ice class 1D hull adds more expedition possibilities if you dream of venturing off the beaten track.

NAIA (ex Pegaso) is a 73.60m (241.47ft) private research expedition yacht, built by the Spanish P. Freire de Vigo Galicia Spain shipyard. The 2011-launched superyacht features naval architecture by BMT Nigel Gee and Associates, exterior design by H2 Yacht Design and interior design by Mark Berryman. NAIA has also received a refit in 2014.

NAIA’s NOTABLE FEATURES: Huge nautical mile range ~ 9m Submarine for 5 pax ~ Dynamic positioning ~ Helipad ~ 4 tenders ~ Diving Equipment and other great toys ~ Cinema ~ Large al fresco dining area ~ Jacuzzi for 8 ~ Fully Equipped gym

Her beautiful interior features oak and walnut, as well as soft furnishing, which creates calm and relaxing atmosphere. Some of the outstanding features onboard include a spa pool for eight, a 54- square-meter gymnasium and an entertainment lounge. Also, charter guests will appreciate the stunning observation lounge from which they can enjoy picturesque views of the best yachting locations in the world.

Various lounging and dining possibilities can be found on board this spectacular vessel, including a large al fresco dining area on the aft deck with a buffet and casual seating, with an additional bar. The helideck is another great feature, with fore and aft sun decks. The aft can be converted into the yacht’s helicopter pad, from a fabulous large area with comfortable seating and sun loungers.

The large salon transforms into a cinema with a 120-inch screen, making it possible to watch favorite movies programs on the state-of-the-art entertainment system.

Accommodation on board of the superyacht NAIA is offered in six suites to up to 12 guests. In addition, she can carry a crew of 27, together with oceanographic and marine biologist scientists.

This impressive yacht features aspects resembling a glamorous luxury super yacht, more than a rugged expedition vessel, nonetheless, her unique design perfectly incorporates both aspects. She is one of the World's largest private luxury research expedition yachts featuring some impressive amenities and 'toys' such as a 9m submarine, with a capacity for five people to dive up to 165 m deep. The oceanographic research submarine was built custom at an Italian Shipyard in Trieste and is housed in a 150 m square hangar on the yacht. The sub is powered by electric propulsion and can reach a surface speed of 8 knots and can submerge at a speed of 6 knots.

NAIA also has a huge 10,000 nautical mile range, which would allow her to cruise from Spain the Australia and back without re fuelling.

Marine research motor yacht NAIA features a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure and was built to comply to MCA and Lloyds Register standards. She can reach a maximum speed of 18 knots with a cruising speed of 14knots. The huge 73 m vessel has a beam of 13.20m (43.31ft) and a 3.8m (12.47ft) draft providing her with a huge volume.

A World Class vessel with which to travel the oceans, she is as comfortable exploring the Amazon Delta as the Cote d'Azur, with a tank capacity of 10,000 miles at a reasonable 12 knots cruising speed, which would allow it to travel to places away from civilization for days on end. ICE class, Dynamic positioning, helipad, 5-person submarine and four tenders all add to the truly "go anywhere" capabilities.

Yacht Charter Accommodation

The master stateroom with adjacent areas for the owner is located on an entire private deck, featuring fore and aft terraces, studies and unprecedented 360° views. The main deck houses five guest staterooms, including the VIP suite with an Emperor bed and four double or twin King size convertible suites. A central spiralling staircase connects all deck areas, while an elevator also connects to the master deck from the sun deck below. There is yet another double guest suite with a King size bed, which was converted from the old Laboratory. This suite also has a single cabin with a Pullman berth.

The most attractive features of NAIA are her well-chosen interiors and interconnection with the sea. NAIA spends the summer and winter season in Greece. She was constructed by the famous yacht builder Freire Shipyard in 2011. The well-planned yacht layout features 8 generous cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 15 guests.

NAIA is classified as a superyacht. The generous aft deck, is right next to the attractive and sleek main salon. The main saloon is a friendly space with an abundance of seating areas and enables a number of media entertainment options. 8 elegant cabins are thoughtfully spread out to allow for comfortable access and private setting.

Naia’ is a 241.47ft /73.6m custom expedition built in 2011 by Freire Shipyard, and last refitted in 2014. The vessel previously named Pegaso and her luxurious interior is designed by Mark Berryman. Her exterior styling is by H2 Yacht Design.

You’ll find a media lounge, an observation lounge and owner’s private deck area on board, and the superyacht makes full use of all available space. A science laboratory can be found on board, and you’ll benefit from a Michelin star chef who can create a lavish lunch or delicious dinner for you and your guests.

A helipad is perfect if you’re looking to explore from the air and sea.

Naia’s spacious interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests in 8 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom and 4 convertible cabins. She is easily capable of carrying up to 22 crew members onboard to ensure you get the most out of your charter vacation.

Naia’s impressive facilities make her the ideal charter yacht for entertaining with family and friends.

She is built with a steel hull and steel / aluminium superstructure. Naia is built to comply to MCA and Lloyds Register standards, and has a cruising speed of 14 knots, a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 6,800nm from 342,690litre fuel tanks.

The deck Jacuzzi is perfect for relaxing after a long day of adventure, and a gym on board is fully equipped with the latest exercise equipment. The yacht is wheelchair friendly, and you’ll find the vessel extremely accessible.

She also comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

While on board you’ll find a great Wi-Fi connection, so you can check emails or update social media. Air conditioning keeps conditions comfortable throughout the cabins, even on the hottest days.

Toys include 2 x Yamaha VX Cruiser Waverunners, Wake Board, Water-Ski, and 4 x Mountain bikes.

The 74m superyacht Pegaso is refitted at Freire and renamed Naia

Freire Shipyard has completed a three month refit of the 74m luxury research vessel Pegaso , which has also been renamed Naia .

The superyacht, which was sold in February, returned to the Spanish yard where she was launched in 2011 for a range of works. Pegaso was built for an owner who was a passionate diver and the yacht was designed with a five-person VAS submarine and a laboratory for the use of the marine biologists often invited onboard. Freire converted the laboratory into two staff cabins, as well adding facilities in the master bathroom. New Voith thrusters have replaced damaged Van der Velden thrusters and standard dry dock works were also carried out, including antifouling, anodes, propeller and rudder readings. Carpentry was by Metrica, structural piping, cabling and HVAC works by Freire, lighting by Aqualuce and multimedia done by AV&IT.

Naia is a high spec expedition vessel. She features a HCA fully certified helipad of the sort found on North Sea oil platforms, with a platform that extends by 4m to accommodate an EC135 helicopter; air-conditioning can cool the vessel to 21 degrees Celsius when it’s 45 degrees outside; the black water treatment system is so thorough that what comes out complies with the most stringent regulations in the world, making trips to Alaska possible; and four large satellite domes eliminate the risk of a service-disrupting shadow from the mast. These receive internet connectivity from both Ku band for common destinations and C band for remote spots. She accommodates caterpillar owners and 10 guests, plus 28 crew, while 3516C engines, with a total output of 4,700kW, give a range of 10,000 nautical miles at 12 knots.

NAIA Yacht for Charter

Explore the world on board the 241.5-foot (74m) NAIA. Built as a go-anywhere adventure vessel in 2011, this beautiful and commanding motor yacht is the perfect size to transport her 12 guests and 22 crew in style. Along with a striking interior and superb performance, she has many appealing features that will ensure a fun-fueled charter experience for all who step on board. 

NAIA boasts every amenity required to explore the world in luxury. Jacuzzi, sun pads, fully-equipped gym, media lounge and observation lounge, numerous alfresco dining and lounging areas, bars, helipad, beach club and the latest watersports equipment. 

NAIA’s impressive guest areas are spread over four decks. An entire Penthouse deck is dedicated to the master stateroom with private terraces fore and aft. Five of the guest staterooms, including a VIP stateroom and four double/twin convertible cabins, are located on the main deck, forward of the central lobby. The former Laboratory has been converted into a new double guest suite with a double cabin and one single cabin with a pullman.

NAIA features warm and relaxed interior guest areas by Mark Berryman. Her décor is a combination of wood, bamboo and natural stone, all in a balanced warm color palette. The aft section of the bridge deck houses a large interior lounge and dining salon, with additional casual seating and bar areas. The former also functions as a fully-equipped cinema. The main salon features a large lounging area comprising sumptuous sofas set up around tables and a separate formal dining set-up and bar. The area is both inviting and intimate. 

A large alfresco dining area on the aft deck features a buffet, casual lounging arrangement and an additional bar. The heli deck is the most popular spot on board, with fore and aft sundecks. The aft, which doubles as the vessel's helipad, is a lush full beam area with plenty of space for loose furniture and sun loungers. Inside a fully-equipped gym can be found, which allows for panoramic views during a workout. There is also a large Jacuzzi here.

With a nautical range of 8,500 miles when cruising at 12 knots, NAIA truly is a world explorer. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3,516c engines, she is capable of speeds of up to 17 knots. A true world explorer.
