company History

the Dutch shipyard Sturier (Stories) boasts a long history. In 1795, the family van der Werf , began the construction of boats near the city of Drachten . The modern history of the company began in 1918. One of the brothers bought in the seaside Stavoren an old shipyard and started to build steel vessels. Until 1957 Sturier dealt only with the commercial fleet, but to assess the potential recreational market, she released a steel yacht Stavokruiser , aimed at the needs of private buyers. Now the company is led by a representative of the third generation of owners — Auke van der Werf (Auke van der Werff) .

Manufacturing

the Current production base Sturier Yachts in the centre of Stavoren. It was created from scratch in 1994 to meet the ever growing demand for the company's vessels. This step, though, and forced the Builder to leave the historic site, opened up new technological possibilities and enabled us to expand the model range.

Range of Ocean Cruiser can without exaggeration be called an icon of the genre. As the name implies, the owner of a yacht can safely navigate away from the inhabited shores. This contributes to the 3000-mile reserve and spacious internal rooms of class "luxury". The characteristic curve lines aboard this vessel makes it easily recognizable.

Series> displacement yacht Dutchman features a simple silhouette with a large area of glazing that floods the interior with light. Can be produced in >semi-displacement variant, reaching speeds of 24 knots.

Yachts from the Dutchman Explorer focused on a long voyage. The manufacturer describes them as "pocket superyacht", and he's far from the truth. Explore — this is an elegant flybridge, plenty of interior space and 4000 miles range.

Sturier 675 OC build in 2007 at Jachtwerf Volharding Staveren, CE-A. Well equipped motor yacht, steel, round bilged, stabilizers, three cabins and one guestcabin/crewcabin. Specious saloon with helmposition and door. Two MAN diesel engines, hydraulic bow-and sternthruster, two Fisher Panda generators, Kabola central heating and Webasto airconditioning. The Hull is freshly painted (02-2020) and the teakdecks are checked and sanded. Come over to our covered sales marina in Sneek for a viewing of this beautifull motor yacht!

Sturier 565 OC

The Sturiër 565 OC is the latest addition to the legendary Sturiër OC Range. The Sturiër 565 OC measures 17.5 metres and thus takes her place between the successful 520 OC and 620 OC.

The new superyacht excels in its ergonomic design. An optimum balance has been achieved between beauty and practicality. The Sturiër 565 OC, with its iconic exterior, round bilge hull and very efficiently designed interior offers comfort and ultimate pleasure for the demanding Sturiër owner.

In the standard version the ship is already fully equipped and offers a lot of space. The Sturiër 565 OC is equipped with two engines, three cabins, hydraulic power installation, bow thrusters, double glazing, underfloor heating in all interior spaces, indirect lighting, electric sunroof, washer / dryer, climate-controlled wine cellar,  many visibly polished stainless steel and state of the art navigation.
