I wonder if this cat will be powered for by a hybrid diesel-electric drive system? Electric goes hand in hand with diesel-electric drive. The way of the future if both concepts are employed together IMHO. And of course, a electric powered .

Boat: too many

to be running to cook a little something. Besides ask any 'chef' in this world if he would cook with electric....just not a controllable 'flame'.

I might suggest one makes accomodations for 'outdoor cooking', like on this cat. There are many times you don't want to smell up the whole vessel with indoors.

There was a time I was very big on these electric concepts (and I still harbor the desire to see them perfected), but there are a number of horror stories associated with early deployment of these systems. BEWARE, do lots of reading on the subject.

	show this weekend and it is a changing design. The sense of space and light was amazing - they have used a different method with an arch which has opened up the space and it has the best views of any catamaran I have been on. The finish was high end, with the feel of a luxury apartment. The appliances were Miele and I was envious of the kitchen - you could not call it a galley. It was more like a apartment than a . The model was 4 with each feeling spacious with its own bathroom. They customize each catamaran and you can have 1, 2, or 3 cabins in each . This was an impressive catamaran.

de Moor Dauntless is our beautiful new Isara 50. A new breed of catamaran, large and luxurious, de Moor Dauntless is only available as a skippered yacht. You can participate in the sailing or relax and enjoy the scenery with a drink in hand. The choice is up to you. With leading edge design and technology, the Isara 50 offers performance without compromising comfort. She is constructed with exceptionally high quality finishing and numerous attributes to add to your enjoyment of sailing and living aboard.

Isara 50 – Accommodations

Elegant is the only word to describe the interior. de Moor Dauntless has LED lighting and teak flooring throughout. The saloon, the largest of any 50′ sailing catamaran, provides a huge living space with a 360 degree panoramic view. The sofa seats six and there are two comfortable occasional chairs. For your entertainment, de Moor Dauntless has a Fusion music system with four separate zones which are controlled by a downloaded app for your smart phone. A 32” TV and DVD in the saloon media server contains a movie library accessible by the TV in each guest cabin. The galley is fantastic with everything needed to make meal preparation a pleasure – large stainless steel refrigerator & freezer, double sink, four burner electric stove, convection oven, dishwasher, curved bar and serving area.

All three cabins are luxuriously appointed with an abundance of natural light, full length hanging locker, plenty of storage space and individual air conditioning controls. Relax in your cabin, access the media server and enjoy a movie on your 24” flat screen TV. Each cabin has an ensuite bathroom with vanity, separate shower and electric quiet flush toilet. A dinghy with a 30hp outboard, kayak and snorkeling gear are included.

Isara 50 – On Deck

de Moor Dauntless’ many features include two helm stations, full Raymarine electronics including chart plotter/GPS, wind instruments and radar, fully battened mainsail, furling genoa, electric winches, water maker, folding props, inverter and deck wash down pump. The spacious fly bridge is accessed by twin curved staircases and offers comfortable cushioned seating for six. A lounge area forward of the fly bridge is the perfect place for those wishing to enjoy the sun or relax in on one of the teak seats at the bow and enjoy the breeze. The cockpit is equipped with an electric Teppanyaki style grill, refrigerator and ice maker. The large cockpit, covered by a rigid bimini, is the ideal place for relaxing, entertaining or enjoying a meal with friends and family. For easy access to the sea and dinghy, the wide swim platform has a boarding ladder at each hull. Divers will appreciate the specially designed tank locker as well as the dive ladder.
