My husband and I went for the "sunset sail" and it was fantastic! We were taken to a nice reef with tons of tropical fishes. We snorkeled for about an hour and then sailed back looking at the beautiful Keys sunset. The capital was a hoot and Lexie was a pleasure to interact with. Strong rum drinks didn't hurt either... I would most definitely recommend this snorkeling trip.

The crew was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. Sam went out of her way to make sure we had a great time. We had our 16 year old and two year old along for the trip and Sam made sure we had all to right gear so our two year old could snorkel with us. It was a great trip and well worth the price! We had a full hour to snorkel. The boat ride to the reef and back was about twenty minutes each way. We will definitely do this again when we visit the Keys next year!

We been planning this day for more than a month, drove a long way, then, suddenly they just called and left a message, same day, cancelling the whole thing, we are so disappointed. Please dont do business with this company.

The Captain and crew went above and beyond to suit our needs. I had a great time and saw a lot of different corals and fish. I would definitely come back to Reef Roamer in the future!

We had a great time. Great staff hosting the snorkeling trip. Priced right. Clean, beautiful boat. Awesome experience snorkeling. Would have been nice to sail, but the wind clearly didn't get the memo.

My family and I went snorkeling with Reef Roamer after our booked charter didn't have enough people to go out. So glad we did! Loved the catamaran and sitting up front. They took us to a great location and were very friendly and helpful. Captain and crew were knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

The crew was amazing and did their best to have conversation with everyone. The sunset was beautiful and it was very laid back and fun! Lots of freedom to break away from the group and explore. The boat was clean and was a very relaxed environment! Definitely enjoyed the experience as I have only snorkeled twice in the last ten years!

Wow. I have never been more upset or disappointed about a reservation made ahead of time. My relatives came down from Connecticut and wanted to try out snorkeling. We booked a morning reservation for the day after they flew in to West Palm Beach, days in advance. We woke up at 5 am in order to make it to the reservation time at 830. After driving 2 hours we showed up, excited to snorkel and happy to be out of the car. The girl who was at the kiosk was on the phone when we walked up. She told us that she was speaking with the "boat captain" and he had to cancel our reservation because he had to change the oil. Yes, you read that correctly, he decided that early in the morning on a Sunday, that he needed to change the oil. So not only did they already have our money through a third party reservation, but now we had to get our refund. Mind you it's after 830, all boats for morning trips leave by 9 and we have to call to get our refund. Needless to say, this guy ruined our morning. The attendant was basically his scape goat and it was a pretty lame excuse. They have a nice website and pretty good prices but obviously they can't hold up on their end of the deal which is ridiculous. Also they point you in the direction of other snorkel sites but like I said before, everything leaves by 9 and a lot of places require reservation. I highly recommend you don't go here.

I apologize for your inconvenience, I would have been highly upset as well. This was obviously a lack of communication between the crew and I will make sure that they are reprimanded. If there was another snorkel boat going out we should have been able to easily board pass you on another vessel by 9am at no charge. Or the other option would have been to join us on the afternoon trip at no additional fee. If there is anything that I can do to make this right for you please contact me at [email protected]. We again apologize for disappointing you and ruining your day.

What an amazing trip!!! The crew was so fun and knowledgeable and educated us about the local fish. I had a blast, they were very accommodating and even gave us dinner recommendations after. Next time I am in key largo i will pay them a visit.

This was the greatest snorkeling experience I've ever had. The quiksilver catamaran was very clean w plenty of room. The captain was knowledgeable and professional. The mates were grade A and super down to earth. I really like that they allow you to bring a cooler full of beer (no glass)and food even though they sell drinks on the boat.We went to 2 different reefs, white banks and sea gardens. Saw all different types of corals, barracudas big & small, parrotfish, tangs, seargent major fish, mangrove snapper, yellowtail snapper, blue striped grunts, blue headed wrasse, butterfly fish, and much more. Can't wait to go again in August . Best bang for your buck in the keys at $35 for 4 hours of epic entertainment , plus I tipped $20. This is a MUST DO if you are in the keys.

This unique ecosystem is home to thousands of species of fish, sponges, coral, turtles and more, and you can see it up close during our afternoon reef snorkel tour. Whether you're a novice or expert in snorkeling, we invite you and the whole family to come see the remarkable beauty the Great Florida Reef has to offer.

Situated just 6 miles seaward of the Keys, the reef is located in relatively shallow water, typically between 15 feet and 30 feet deep. As the No. 1 diving destination in the world, the reef attracts millions of visitors who can explore and appreciate the delicate ecosystem. You'll have a remarkable view from the Marquesa, a 69-foot Catamaran that boasts one of the largest sails in South Florida.

During your excursion into the beautiful coral, you may glimpse seahorses, angelfish and lionfish, as well as turtles and dolphins. The reefs are home to millions of creatures and marine plants so there's something new around every turn. And the reef never stays the same -- seasons, climate, plant growth, and the various life routines of the marine animals ensure the reef constantly changes. If you've taken our tour before, we invite you to return and experience how the reef has grown since you were last here.

An Afternoon of Adventure

This 3 hour tour sets sail at 12:30 p.m. on our state-of-the-art catamaran and heads straight to the reef. There's plenty of seating on this spacious deck, and while awaiting arrival to the reef, our crew provides safety instructions and demonstrates how to properly use the snorkeling equipment. We provide a snorkeling mask, snorkel, fins and buoyancy compensator for all our underwater adventurers. Our crew is capable of answering any questions you may have during this time. Once we arrive at the snorkeling area, passengers may descend our "Stairway to the Sea," a staircase running from the deck to the water level for easy access.

Our exciting catamarans are equipped with fresh water showers for when you're finished snorkeling, and there's plenty of deck room to stretch out in the sun or head to the shaded area for a refreshing break after snorkeling or on the return trip.

The afternoon reef snorkel tour provides complimentary water and soda to keep you hydrated, and for our adult passengers, we offer complimentary beer and wine on the return sail to Key West.

What is the weather cancellation policy? If the activity must be cancelled due to bad weather, and you cannot reschedule, you will be issued a full refund.

Where is the departure point for this tour? Check-in instructions will be included in your activity confirmation email.

Where can I park? There is metered parking available near the check-in facility.

Do I have to know how to swim for snorkeling? We ask that our guests feel comfortable in the water before booking a snorkeling tour. All guests will have the chance to wear a buoyancy vest while snorkeling. Swimming is not required, however.

Where do you go for your snorkeling? We have various destinations that we go to for snorkeling. Our two main destinations include the Barrier Reef on the Atlantic side of Key West and Cottrell Key.
