Anchoring in one of the most beautiful coves with turquoise and blue waters, jumping off the boat into the sea and enjoying Mallorca while drying off in the sun - that's all you need for a perfect holiday day. And it should be no less on our catamaran tour from Palma. We will show you the beautiful south coast of the island with its hidden coves, almost all of which invite you to swim and snorkel. We will first take a look at the large bay of Palma and sail past this beautiful setting at leisure, setting the scene for a wonderful day of sailing around Mallorca.

The coordinates for our half day Palma catamaran cruise are: Sea, waves, panoramic views. In the semi-shade of the awning, it is wonderful to relax on board, accompanied by a cool drink and delicious tapas. Once we drop anchor, you can grab your SUP board and start paddling. To slow down, our new catamaran has all the comforts. On the front deck we have a large trampoline and plenty of space for sunbathing or chilling out. Spacious cockpit with comfortable seating around the table - you can be in the middle of the action or just take a few minutes to enjoy the freedom!

Catamaran "Dolphin" is a Lagoon 42 build in 2009 with a length of 13 meters held by Helmuth. This comfortable catamaran offers a perfect day out on the sea.

There is a lot of space in the trampoline, on deck and in the cockpit which is partly covered. With a maximum of 12 guests it offers a relaxing and private atmosphere.

The boat has a stand-up paddle, floating devices, snorkeling equipment and a music installation on board.

About the Catamaran in Mallorca

This is a catamaran with very limited places, if you are going to reserve for 4 people or more, contact us by Whats App before making the reservation.

What do we do on our excursion?

We await you in the Port of Palma to board the catamaran. Once onboard we will first make a tour of the monumental area of Palma on which you can see the cathedral, the old walls and the Almudaina Palace. Then we will hoist the sails, leave the city behind as we relax in the sunshine.

Our route will take either West or East of Palma depending on the wind conditions: 

• If we head east our tour will take us to Cala Cala Vella.
• If we head west our tour will take us around the area of Portals Vells

There we will make a stop to refresh in the water and those who want to can take part in different aquatic activities such as snorkelling, stand up paddle or the floating mat. Later lunch will be served, which will consist of a selection of delicious tapas, with 1 drink of your choice: Soft drinks, beer, glass of wine or glass of cava. (Extra drinks on sale on board € 3.00). To finish, we will make our way back towards Palma. 

What does the price include?

On this shared catamaran activity from Palma for a maximum of 12 passengers, the price includes: 

• Cold water dispenser available on board for free use.
• Water activities such as snorkelling, stand up paddle, inflatables.
• Selection of local tapas (which you can see in the photo slider).
• 1 drink of your choice: Soft drinks, beer, glass of wine or glass of cava
• Extra drinks are sold on board at a cost of €3 for soft drinks and beer and €5 for a glass of wine or cava

The price in high season (from June to September) is €90, and the rest of the months is €80.

Departure time of the catamaran .

This tour lasts for 4 hours and there are three departures:

• Morning timetable from 9:30 to 13:30
• Afternoon timetable from 14:00 to 18:00(only in high season) 
• Sunset timetable from 18:30 to 22:30 (only high season)

When you make your reservation, please indicate in the comments section your preferred timetable and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes. If you are a large group, please check availability before booking by sending a whatsapp.

Catamaran departure point 

 The catamaran sails from the Port of Palma and guests must make their own way there. Once your have made your reservation and paid you will receive two emails: 

• One email with the details of the booking and payment confirmation.
• Another email with the meeting point and, time and telephone number of the captain. 

Important information

Please note the following considerations when preparing for your excursion on the boat:

• smoking is not allowed on board
• no food may be brought on board
• no drinks (except water) may be brought on board the boat
• there is a water dispenser on board that you can use freely
• drinks can be purchased on board
• no seasickness tablets such as biodramine are provided, they can be purchased before the boat trip in any pharmacy.
• check in will start 20 minutes before departure time, the catamaran leaves on time

Amazing experience, really really suggested

Disappointed. A short motor to a crowded cove, then motor back. We thought a catamaran would sail, and we thought we would go to quiet coves. This was a motor boat trip to a boat parking. Crew were very nice though.

As the photos showed the catamaran under sail, this is why I booked a catamaran and not a boat with an engine. 1 hr drive to one bay then 2 hr anchored them 1 hour return It could have been more varied

Lovely boat trip and very friendly family. Took us to a stunning area for swimming and relaxation. My only negative would be the ‘tapas lunch’ which was very basic and consisted of some bread, cheese and salami. Perhaps this could be improved. Nonetheless, a very enjoyable trip and definitely worth it.

This trip feels like rip-off. We booked it to actually see some fish, but the glass bottom on our boat was no way close to the pictures you see on the website. There were only two rows of tiny ~40x70cm windows that appear to have been cleaned a long time ago. When asking about the situation, the answer was ‘we changed the boat, we have more than one – either you take or leave it…’ quite an option with kids that are excited for a boat ride -.-

So I certainly don’t recommend to book it, if you intend to use the glass bottom.

If you just want to go on a boat ride, it’s okay. But be aware, that if the 2 hours ride, ~40 minutes are spent picking up other passengers along the coast.

Best to do in Alcudia!

Amazing views and swimming stops. Me and my 10 year old son really enjoyed. The crew was happy and friendly, they really made the trip so wonderful!

Lever du soleil + petit déjeuner. Nous avons vue beaucoup de dauphin et de près.
