For Season 5, the crew is in Ibiza! A small island in the Mediterranean Sea, it’s one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the world. A press release ahead of the season described the locale as "the luxury party capital of the world" known for "sunny day parties and a crystal-clear coast."
Glenn certainly agrees. "This Season, we're here in Ibiza, and I love Ibiza," the captain declared on the show's October 7 Season 5 premiere. "It's beautiful, there's great water, and it's notorious worldwide as being party central of planet Earth. I mean, come on."
Daisy Kelliher seemed to arrive at the new location with a new outlook on the charter season. After an all-crew meeting in the premiere episode, Daisy stated in an interview, "I'm in Ibiza, I'm f-cking good at my job, and I'm taking back the reins."
Based on the trailer above, this season in Ibiza will continue to be filled with fun moments and plenty of drama.
Where have past seasons of Below Deck Sailing Yacht Filmed?
The tropical paradise of Ibiza is completely new territory for the series. For every season thus far, the crew has been taken to a different location.
In the premiere season, the crew enjoyed Corfu, Greece. In Season 2, Glenn steered the yacht into the beautiful waters surrounding Croatia. Soon followed Season 3 and 4, which were in Menorca, Spain and Sardinia, Italy, respectively.

Inside My Seanna, the star superyacht of Below Deck season nine
Related articles, superyacht directory.
As season nine of Below Deck gets underway we take a closer look at the superyacht hosting all of the action with an exclusive interview from her charter broker and Captain…
The latest season of superyacht charter TV show Below Deck may be full of colourful characters but there is one star that undoubtedly takes centre stage amidst the drama; charter superyacht Starship . Known as My Seanna during the filming but now renamed Starship following her recent multi-million sale , the 56.4 metre motor yacht was first delivered in 2000 by Seattle-based shipyard Delta Marine .
The GRP and aluminium yacht was built in just two years to a design by Glade Johnson with naval architecture by Doug Sharp . She has undergone a number of refits and upgrades since but remains instantly recognisable with her sleek, silvered hull.
Stepping inside, Starship offers accommodations for 12 guests and 11 crew. Cabins and interior spaces have been finished in a classic style with touches of opulence; richly coloured, dark wood panelling, soft furnishings in cream with gilded edges, ornate chandeliers and exquisite marble and gold features in the ensuites. A piano adds the finishing piece to the lavish saloon in which entertaining takes place and meals and drinks are hosted.
"A short but extensive refit was completed since her sale, to brighten and update the interiors, without sacrificing the opulence which makes this boat who she is," says her captain, Steve Feldman, who has been with Starship since 2003.
Starship has spent much of her life chasing the warmth, cruising through the Mediterranean during the summer months and heading back west over winter for stop-offs from Florida to Puerto Rico. She is currently based in The Bahamas and this season will be taking guests on island-hopping charters between Nassau, Eleuthera the Exumas and the Abacos. To ensure guests can fully soak up the sunshine, there are a multitude of deck spaces on board from al fresco lounges and an outdoor dining table to dedicated sunbathing areas.
A highlight is the sundeck Jacuzzi, surrounded by a cocktail bar, while down below the expansive beach club offers shaded lounge space, access to a sauna and gym, a flatscreen TV and a small galley for prepping drinks and snacks. There’s even an outdoor cinema for movie nights under the stars.
"The owner specifically purchased this yacht with chartering in the Bahamas in mind," details her charter manager at Worldwide Boat, Rod Lindor. "Ample exterior deck space, plenty of storage for toys and most importantly the shallow draft of 2.4 metres are all important elements that make Starship a great charter yacht."
However, on board spaces are not the only important element of a successful charter on Starship . To ensure all guests can make the most of their time on the water, the yacht also boasts a well-stocked toybox filled with towable inflatables, kayaks, trampolines, fishing gear, a beach party set up and gear for waterskiing or wakeboarding. Since the refit, Captain Feldman adds that the yacht offers an "enhanced toy inventory," now offering "four jet skis, four sea bobs, dive gear including a dive master and a 12 metre Intrepid tender outfitted for fishing and diving." For exploring the surrounding coastline or for making a smooth entry or exit, Starship is additionally equipped with a helipad.
"The beauty of Starship is the versatility to accommodate groups of all types; from families and corporate guests to an all adults trip," explains Lindor. "With a mixologist, personal trainer, tea sommelier, and divemaster on board, there is a little something for everyone to enjoy."
With so much on offer, Starship perfectly sets the scene for the action of Below Deck to take place while still offering the ultimate luxury experience for charter guests on board. Lindor attests that her star appearances on the show have been a positive for the yacht, which was already "a bit of a celebrity in the yachting industry" even before her involvement.
" Below Deck has been great overall for the charter industry, as it has brought chartering a yacht more mainstream. Overall the publicity has been beneficial," adds Lindor.
Starship is managed for charter by Worldwide Boat with a weekly charter rate starting from $260,000. Episodes of Below Deck season nine air on Bravo every Monday at 21:00 ET, or can be streamed via Peacock TV the next day.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Official date, cast members and destination revealed

By Editorial Team 20 December 2019
After exclusively breaking the news about the brand new 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' series earlier this year, YachtCharterFleet can now unveil more details about Bravo's latest addition to the Below Deck franchise.
Set to hit our screens on February 3, 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' will follow a new crew of yachties as they set sail around the coastlines of Greece .
This is the first series in Below Deck history which features a luxury sailing yacht, with the 180ft sailing yacht Parsifal III playing the starring role.
The new series joins the original Below Deck, which premiered in 2013, and Below Deck Mediterranean, which premiered in 2016.
Promising even more action on the high seas, a new trailer gives us an insight into what we can expect from the show's first ever season.
Get ready for a new Below Deck yacht with a new crew on board (and Chef Adam)! ⛵🌬️ The SERIES PREMIERE of #BelowDeckSailing sets sail February 3! https://bravo.ly/BDSYFB Publiée par Bravo sur Mercredi 18 décembre 2019
What's different about the new series?
This is the first ever time Below Deck has branched away from motor yachts, and the sailing vessel component of the new series is expected to inject even more drama to the show.
This is partly due to the fact that the design of luxury sailing yachts leads to far more confined crew areas than we are used to seeing on the original Below Deck.
Although the 180ft Parsfill III is the 59th largest sailing yacht ever build, her interior volumes are much smaller than a motor yacht of the equivalent length. Motor yachts are typically wider, and have more decks- Parsifal III has just three slim decks.
Sailing yachts also heel (lean) from side to side while under sail, creating plenty of problems for the interior team as you can see in the trailer above.
Sailing yachts generally feature smaller galleys, tiny stew stations and cramped crew quarters which are in closer proximity to the guests’ living areas, making it more challenging for the crew to deliver their signature silver service.
Sailing yachts also heel (lean) from side to side while under sail, creating plenty of problems for the interior team, as you can see in the trailer above.
In addition, we can expect to see the deck crew placed in a far more demanding role, with sailing yachts requiring accuracy and skills to manoeuvre safely.
Furthermore, plenty of deck duties take place in the midst of guest areas, so the pressure will be on as the sailors struggle to keep their cool in front of their charter guests.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Cast: New crew and a familiar face
The crew is helmed by the yacht's full-time captain Glenn Shepherd, a keen sailor with 10 years of experience on board Parsifal III. This is unusual for Below Deck, as the full-time crew are usually replaced with a temporary cast during filming.
Long-time Below Deck fans will spot a familar face in the crew; chef Adam Gliick, who made his debut appearance in Below Deck Mediterranean season 2 and is returning for the first season of the new Sailing Yacht series.
There is also a couple onboard, which is common in yachting, but has never been seen before on Below Deck. Ciara Duggan and Paget Berry also work full-time on Parsifal III, but the pair has never worked in the same department before. Berry works as the yacht's first mate, while Duggan will be stepping in as deckhand.
The interior crew is headed up by chief stewardess Jenna MacGillivray. She will need to have a firm hold on her crew and an even firmer hold on her interior, as unsecured items will wreak havoc when the yacht catches wind and heels (leans). She is joined by second stewardess Madison Stalker and third stew Georgia Grobler.
Where was Below Deck Sailing Yacht filmed?
Filming for the new series took place around the Greek island of Corfu in the Ionian Sea. The yacht's homeport for the series was Corfu Yacht Harbour; this is where we can expect to catch our first glimpse of the charter guests as they embark and disembark the yacht.
When will Below Deck Sailing Yacht premiere?
The new Sailing Yacht series premieres Monday, February 3rd at 9pm ET/PT on Bravo TV.
How much does it cost to rent the Below Deck Sailing Yacht?
Parsifal III charters from $195,000 per week plus expenses. This does not include the price of food, drinks, the cost to dock, or fuel costs associated with water toys.
If you are interested in chartering S/Y PARSIFAL III for yourself, please get in touch with your preferred yacht charter broker .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 has a mix of old and new crew members
Season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht features familiar faces and introduces new crew members as well.
Glenn Shephard
The Captain of Parsifal III is here once again to sail through Ibiza with some old and some new faces. Glenn Shephard has been the Captain since the inception of the show and knows his way around. His calm and collected demeanor is the anchor on which all the other crew members lean.
First Mate Gary King
Gary King has made a return as the first mate for the fourth time in the show. His experience and expertise will help the newcomers learn quickly.
Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher
Daisy is one of the three members to return to season 5 of the show. She will be serving as the chief stew and will take the new stews under her wing to make sure the nitty-gritty of the interior department is taken care of, alongside the other needs of the guests. She will be helped by two new stews, Dianna and Danni this season.
The new crew members of Parsifal III
Chef cloyce martin.
Food is one of the fundamentals when it comes to serving the best to the customers, and this season Cloyce Martin will lead that department. With a new head chef, the season can expect new angles to cooking, as this young chef navigates his way.
Chief Engineer Davide Morosi
The season added a new chief engineer in the form of Davide Morosi to look after all the technical know-how. His skills will come in handy in times of crisis.
Stew Diana Cruz
Dianna Cruz has joined as the new stewardess and will be working alongside other crew members responsible for keeping the guests' demands on priority, providing top-notch service. She will be under the supervision of Chief Stew Daisy.

Deckhand Keith
Keith has joined as a fresh deckhand and will be helping Gary along with Emma. Daisy and Keith seem to have initiated boatmance in season 5, but he will have to be careful to not let it get in the way of professional duties.
Deckhand Emma Crouch
Emma Crouch joined the crew of Parsifal III as a new deckhand on Gary's team. The trailer already hinted at a boiling tension between the two as Gary was reportedly micromanaging things.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 will air episode 2 on October 14 at 9 pm ET/PT on Bravo.
