Meet The Ruth's!

Tony, Monica, and their 3 beautiful daughters love everything that Florida has to offer… beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets, warm nights, outdoor living, etc!

In 2016 they decided to permanently move to the Sunshine State from Ohio and they bought their first vacation rental. They now have 10 beautiful properties in Indian Rocks Beach and specialize in upscale coastal beach rentals.

In 2017, Tony and Monica started in the yacht charter business with Magic Moment a 75 ft Luxury Motoryacht based in Clearwater Beach, Florida. It was the perfect addition to their existing vacation rental business.

They brought a true sense of pride, Customer Service, and a sole-minded dedication to providing guests with absolutely unforgettable experiences.

In 2022, they will be adding their second Yacht to the business, a 117 ft motor-yacht, Star Sapphire.

It has truly been an incredible journey, fulfilling a lifelong dream for Tony of owning a fleet of luxury yachts that he could charter to people from all over the world and provide them with an experience they would never find anywhere else.

Tony’s passion for the water, islands. and boats started at a very young age and has never waned but rather strengthened through the years. He started boating with his father, Jack Ruth when he was five years old. It was an instant life passion. He bought his first boat in 1997 and has made it his life‘s purpose to spend as much time on the water as he possibly could.

He brings that same passion and love of boats and the water to his charter business with his wife Monica. They know that the difference between their business and other charter businesses is that they are hands-on and work tirelessly, paying attention to every detail. Most charter companies manage boats for owners who are completely absent and uninvolved.

Tony and Monica are extremely enthusiastic about maintaining the boats in beautiful condition knowing that the guest experience is highly predicated on the quality of the boat and the quality of the experience they have with the staff as well.

They personally spend many hours continuously training their captains and crew to be detailed oriented and make sure that the guest experience is personable, attentive, and fun.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Magical Moments Yacht Rental in Miami for my birthday. I initially booked a 50-foot boat leaving from Bayside, but a day before, the broker informed me the boat was unavailable due to a part issue. She offered a boat of the same size but leaving from a different marina. However, on the day of, we ended up with a 40-foot boat, departing from the Miami River, for the same price. The boat was supposed to arrive at 3 PM but didn't show up until 4:30-4:45 PM, drastically reducing our rental time. When we finally boarded, the captain tried to charge us nearly triple the balance due, leading to a back-and-forth between him and the broker. We were also given no choice in selecting the captain and were told to pretend we had chosen him via text. Leaving from the Miami River was a nightmare. It took an hour and 20 minutes just to reach open sea, during which we couldn't play music due to the residential area. Our six-hour rental was reduced by nearly three hours due to this. We were promised a landing on an island to mingle with other boats, but instead, we docked in the middle of the ocean with nothing to do but hang out on a water mat behind the boat. The entire experience was frustrating and ruined my birthday. The broker later apologized and offered a four-hour rental with 10 guests as compensation. Despite following up repeatedly, she eventually said the offer was only valid on weekdays, making it impossible for us due to work schedules. It was extremely disappointing to see on their social media channels that the boat we were supposed to have actually departed that same day at the same time it was scheduled for us, which makes me wonder what ended up happening. I will never use this company again. They failed to deliver on their promises, provided no compensation for the size difference in the boat, and caused a lot of unnecessary stress and disappointment. My guests and I were extremely dissatisfied with the service, and I wouldn't recommend Magical Moments Yacht Rental in Miami to anyone. Tuve una experiencia increíblemente decepcionante con Magical Moments Yacht Rental en Miami para mi cumpleaños. Inicialmente reservé un barco de 50 pies que salía de Bayside, pero un día antes, la corredora me informó que el barco no estaba disponible debido a un problema con una pieza. Amazing Boat with Amazing people! Can't wait to go back! Captain Chris and Lois went above and beyond.

My wife and I took a charter from Pompano Beach to Bimini Bahamas a few weeks back. We spent 3 nights and 4 days in Bimini. A trip we will remember for a lifetime. Can't wait to take another charter on Magic Moment. Lois and Captain Chris went above and beyond to make this charter special. We had so much fun with them. The transit to Bimini was a little snotty out. With winds 20-30 Knott's and seas 12-15ft we thought we would have to postpone the trip. The conditions were nothing for this vessel. The boat handled it so smooth and seemed like it enjoyed those conditions. The weather for the transit back to home port was not as rough so it was a cake walk back. The marina we stayed at once we got the Bahamas was very nice. Captain Chris was our personal tour guide and took us everywhere. The one day he took us on a tour of the island by jet-ski and dingy. We found beautiful conch shells and took lots of pics with all the amazing backdrops the island has to offer. We took advantage of the spacious galley on the boat and ate most of our meals onboard. The one evening we had fresh lobster caught that morning and steak dinner. That meal was just as good as any high-end steak house I've ever been to. I would highly recommend booking this charter with Magic Moment! This was not the first time we have used them for a charter but was the furthest we been on it. We have used Magic Moment for a few charters on the intercoastal. Always top notch service and memories to last a life time. Looking forward to our next voyage

What an amazing sunset cruise down the New River into Ft. Lauderdale! We were a group of 12 friends/couples that booked a sunset cruise with Chris & Lois for my wife's 50th B-day, along with three others that had or were turning 50 within a few weeks of each other. From the first communication, Lois & Chris were very responsive and professional and even came to pick us up at our Airbnb house in Pompano Beach. Chris also asked if there was a special occasion and decorated the interior with birthday decorations. The yacht was beautiful, well maintained and their crew member Fab was a lot of fun and never missed a beat bringing us drinks. It was nice to play our own music through the blue tooth stereo system that sounded great! We brought our own drinks, but Lois did offer to drop us at a restaurant or have a restaurant bring food out to us but we had so much fun we never wanted to stop during the four hour cruise. Every minute of the trip was amazing and what a memory for everyone! I highly recommend you book with them!
