They are the worst. They do not fully disclose all fees even when asked. They tell you it is an all-inclusive price and then change the game half way through. I provided all funding, arranged transport at an agreed time and date. Their seller did not release the boat and deliver as promised. I was basically told that is not their problem. I informed them that the boat was not in fact delivered per the sales agreement. Needless to say it cost me an extra $1,000-$1,500 to retire my boat due to the failure to deliver. Jake Lighter was my direct broker and lied to me the whole way through. Dirtiest treatment of a Military Veteran I have ever experienced.
If you are going to purchase a boat through this company do not take their word for what is included - verify that everything is there and in the condition they are representing. I recently purchased a "new" boat through them and was told that the mooring cover and a table included on the manifest were included (I am in California and had to have the boat shipped across country). One document you have to sign is as waiver that states "as-is", but I was assured that it was a standard document and they everything listed on the listing was present and in new condition. Once I got the boat the cover and table were not there. I contacted Yacht Auctions and Parker Boatworks (the actual seller) and was told the cover was there under a seat. I assured them that it was not, and then was told that it turned out the cover was dry rotted so they threw it away, and that the cover was not included in the manufacturers warranty. I have contacted Yacht Auctions (the broker) many times and was told that we are in "un-precedented demand and times" and asked me to be patient. After about a month of that I was told that the seller was not going to provide the cover and good luck, enjoy your boat.

Granddaughter arrested in fort lauderdale couple’s murder, it comes about 2 weeks after her former boyfriend’s arrest.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale police have made another arrest in the case of a senior couple murdered in their own home back in March: The pair’s own granddaughter.
Authorities took Jalisa Hill, 34, into custody on two first-degree murder charges Thursday.
She’s now accused in connection with the killings of her octogenarian grandparents, Major and Claudette Melvin, back on March 22. The two were found shot to death and their vehicle was stolen.
Hill’s arrest comes about two weeks after the arrest of her former boyfriend , 30-year-old Maurice Anthony Newson. Local 10 News was there as a Fort Lauderdale police officer walked her into the Broward County jail Thursday evening.
“It is believed she worked in conjunction with Maurice Newson to murder her grandparents,” a Fort Lauderdale Police Department spokesperson said Thursday. “FLPD is able to close this case thanks again to our community who provided information throughout this investigation that led to the arrests.”
Police took him into custody on Aug. 27.
Following their deaths, their red Ford Fusion was stolen from their driveway and immediately became the center of the investigation. Newson was linked to that car.
About two weeks after the murders, it was located at a tow yard in Wilton Manors after a man tipped off police after seeing the vehicle on the news.
In Newson’s previous arrest warrants, police said Hill voluntarily submitted to a polygraph test and was “untruthful on the question of being involved in the death of her grandparents.”
She was also evasive when Local 10 News tried to speak with her following Newson’s arrest.
