Our restaurant  menu  offers the best value for money in all of the Belmont and Newcastle regions with a variety of dining options to ensure there is something to impress everyone. We serve the traditional ‘pub fare’ with a couple of twists and also have a range of share platter options, which are great for groups enjoying a drink on the deck. Our $15 lunches are available during weekdays and our restaurant specials change regularly.

We know that our delicious food plus the stunning location directly over the water of Lake Macquarie make a perfect combination for a relaxing lunch or an exquisite dinner.

The  Lake Macquarie Yacht Club is a popular venue in Belmont to enjoy a drink and a meal with friends. The restaurant is only a 20min drive from the heart of Newcastle and with a view across Belmont Bay it is a stone’s throw for many Lake Macquarie residents.

The club does offer a courtesy bus service and it is worthwhile taking advantage of it to ensure a fun, carefree night.

The Belmont Yacht Club is on the north end of Belmont Harbor next to the B dock. It is the smaller and less formal of the two clubs located in Belmont Harbor. Benefits of joining a friendly small Yachtclub include very inexpensive dues and reciprocity in 100s of other yacht clubs around the country.

A pretty great place for a wedding reception. My cousin had a March wedding, and although it was cold as Hades, the reception by the lake was pretty cool. Watching those waves from the comfortable nearby yacht club made us feel not just fortunate, but warm.

Lake Macquarie Yacht Club provides a range of sailing activities all year round as well as live entertainment on the deck every week, raffles every Thursday night, Function spaces and a restaurant open 7 days a week within the clubhouse for all to enjoy.

No matter what class of boat you sail, you are always welcome at Lake Macquarie Yacht Club. The club can offer a comprehensive year-round sailing calendar which will satisfy even the keenest competitive sailor.

With clean winds and an expanse of water twice the size of Sydney Harbour without any inherent traffic, the waters of the Lake are perfect for racing, one of the reasons why we have chosen to host so many international, national and state championship regattas.

While the Club has provided a platform for those with drive and determination to reach the pinnacle of their sport, Lake Macquarie is equally thrilled to offer help and support at the other end of the sailing spectrum: by introducing sailing to those who have not yet discovered it before.
