below deck sailing yacht season 2 guests erica

5 things to know about Below Deck charter guest Erica Rose

Below Deck guests are notorious for their demanding lists, but Erica Rose and her party took it to a new level in the latest episode, pushing the crew to their limits. Erica is a familiar face on reality television, particularly on the Below Deck yacht. Known for being one of the most demanding and low-tipping guests to ever board the ship, the crew wasn't thrilled to see her return to their quarters.

In season 2 of the sailing show, Erica, her mom Cindy, and a group of friends embarked on Parsifal III. They proved to be a demanding and high-maintenance bunch. Erica didn't hesitate to repeatedly voice her complaints to Captain Glenn Shephard about the crew's performance. Additionally, the group was in constant internal conflicts, adding a touch of irony to their women's empowerment night.

Despite her previous boisterous behavior during her initial yacht charter, Erica made a return for a second trip, stirring up just as much drama. This has left fans of the show questioning the identity of Erica and how she found herself in a position to rent a luxury yacht not once but twice.

5 things you need to know about Erica Rose

1. erica's early life.

Erica, a Texas native , lives in Houston with her husband, raising their children. Despite her love for travel, she shows no inclination to leave Texas, indicating a strong connection to her hometown.

After attending Emory College, Erica Rose graduated with a dual major in English and Creative Writing and a minor in Theater. Despite her academic background, she chose a career in law rather than pursuing writing or acting.

Following her time at The University of Houston Law Center, Erica excelled as a young lawyer, earning numerous honors and accolades. Eventually, she established her own law firm.

2. Erica's career and excellence

Beyond her reality TV fame, Erica Rose has a thriving career off-camera . Serving as a partner in her law firm alongside her husband, she actively shares legal advice on social media. She has also provided insights on high-profile cases like Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's defamation trial.

Erica gained fame on The Bachelor , entering with a bejeweled tiara for Prince Lorenzo. However, she was eliminated after three weeks. The lawyer later appeared on VH1's You're Cut Off! She became a standout charter guest on Below Deck Sailing Yacht.

Erica takes pride in her professional growth, transcending her initial recognition from The Bachelor 's tiara-wearing contestant.

3. Erica's family and her bond with them

Erica Rose, a mother to daughters Aspen and Holland, prioritizes their well-being. Despite her TV appearances, she shields them from negativity, managing their Instagram accounts to curate a positive online presence while focusing on providing a memorable childhood.

While fans critique aspects of Below Deck , Erica Rose's husband, Charles, stirred real drama on the show, complaining about breakfast and other ship issues. An attorney like his wife, Charles, faced backlash on social media for his behavior during the charter. He shares his legal expertise on car accidents on Instagram, showcasing his Rolex collection and selfies.

Cindy, Erica's mom, played a pivotal role in their memorable charter on Below Deck . Her demanding nature and food preferences sparked intrigue among fans. Beyond the show, Cindy is a successful silhouette artist with a history of working in Disneyland. She channels the proceeds from her art to support women affected by breast cancer.

4. Erica's body-positive stance

Erica Rose is candid about her cosmetic procedures, sharing on social media that she has undergone veneers, Botox, filler injections, and regular facials for skincare maintenance. Erica embraces transparency, unlike some reality stars who keep their plastic surgery discreet.

Taking a body-positive stance, she aims to normalize the choice of getting work done for those seeking enhancements that contribute to their confidence and well-being.

5. Erica's reaction to the drama from Below Deck

Despite apologizing for the low tip and her husband's actions on Below Deck , Erica has expressed her weariness with the backlash on her Instagram account. However, she and Charles continue engaging with and sharing reactions to the show and viewer posts, indicating they are still capitalizing on the publicity.

Final thoughts

Joining the Parsafil crew for a mini-getaway in Croatia, Erica Rose and her friends proved to be more demanding than anticipated, leading to some tension. The crew, including second stewardess Dani, faced challenges, with one guest even requesting a massage to cope with the stress of being constantly surrounded by friends on the yacht.

The OG Below Deck season 11 will be released on Bravo in February 2024 at 9 pm ET. Similarly, Below Deck Med season 9, season 3 of Below Deck Down Under , and season 5 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht are also awaiting release.

‘below deck sailing yacht’ guest erica rose: gary is ‘too good’ for daisy.

A split of "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" stars Gary King and Daisy Kelliher with an inset of charter guest Erica Rose

“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” guest Erica Rose does not ship Gary King and Daisy Kelliher.

In fact, Rose — who appeared on “BDSY” Season 2 and came back for a second charter on Monday night’s episode — exclusively tells Page Six that she thinks King is “too good” for “two-faced” Kelliher.

“Gary could do so much better,” says Rose, 37, who maintained a friendly relationship with the handsome first mate in between seasons.

“All the girls on the boat were interested in him — even my friends. Gary’s a really great guy and Daisy is just not a really great person. She’s actually really two-faced.”

Rose — who reality TV fans may recognize from her explosive stint on “The Bachelor” Season 9 in 2006 and subsequent spinoffs — tells Page Six that she believes chief stew Kelliher, 34, only hooked up with King, 33, to get a rise out of co-star and third stew Ashley Marti.

Erica Rose posing on a boat

“You could just tell she really loved watching Ashley get jealous and I truly think that’s part of the reason she decided to hook up with Gary,” says the Texas-based attorney.

“Ashley told me that she was into Gary before he even kissed Daisy, so it seems like that was part of her motivation to go after Gary. She didn’t want Ashley to have that type of attention. She likes being the queen of the boat.”

Rose says that she finds Kelliher to be “really desperate for any kind of attention” and suspects that her pursuit of King was also “for ratings and to be relevant” on the reality show.

“Gary and Daisy are just two very different people,” she says. “Gary is not a fame whore.”

Rose says King had purer intentions while exploring a romance with Kelliher. Still, the Bachelor Nation alum surmises that Kelliher was nothing more than a “rebound” for King after his relationship with Alli Dore fizzled out last season.

“When I got on the boat, I asked Gary, ‘Oh, are you interested in any of the girls?’ And he’s like, ‘You know what? I’m still really heartbroken over Alli,’” she claims of a conversation that didn’t air.

King and Kelliher, seen here with chef Marcos Spaziani, share a steamy hot tub makeout session later this season.

Rose feels as though King became intimate with Kelliher simply because of her proximity to Dore, her best friend and “Pita Party” podcast co-host . (These days, Dore is happily coupled up with boyfriend Benny Thompson, with whom she shares 6-month-old son River.)

“I could tell he really loved Alli last season and he was vulnerable and admitted that he couldn’t commit to a new relationship because he was really heartbroken over her,” Rose says.

“And he knows that Daisy’s one of her close friends, so maybe he felt like hooking up with her would bring him closer to Alli?”

For their part, Kelliher and King — who share a steamy hot tub makeup session later this season — explained their dynamic while chatting with Page Six last month.

“We kind of hate each other, but we love each other,” Kelliher said at the time. “So sometimes you’re a bit like, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should just make out.’ And afterwards you’re like, ‘Oh, no, we should never do that again.’ So it was complicated for us … I think it was all a bit of a rollercoaster.”

Added King, “I think Daisy and I’ve always had this like underlying thing for each other. Maybe that’s just from my part, I don’t know.”

But Rose warns King to “stay away” from Kelliher as the lawyer says she’s been burned by the Bravolebrity herself.

Despite Kelliher calling Rose’s return to “BDSY” the “worst news ever” — Rose is infamous for her exacting standards — the latter TV personality claims that the women remained close over social media after her first on-camera voyage.

Charles Sanders and Erica Rose posing on a yacht

“I was on Season 2 with a group of my girlfriends. We left them the biggest tip of the season. Not only that, Daisy kept in touch with me throughout the year on Instagram,” Rose says. “She would say things, like, ‘Wow, girl, you’ve lost so much weight. I need to lose weight. I’m gaining weight. Help me,’ and things like that.”

Then, just weeks ago, Kelliher blocked Rose on Instagram.

“It was so random,” Rose says. “But now it’s clear to me that she just didn’t want me to catch anything she has been saying about me over the last few weeks. She wants to paint me as this bad guy of ‘Below Deck’ and I don’t know why, but I think it’s time she looked in the mirror.”

“Below Deck Sailing Yacht” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Erica Rose on Her Second 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Experience and Her Husband's Omelette Drama (EXCLUSIVE)

Shannon Raphael - Author

Published March 14 2022, 12:39 p.m. ET

The third season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht is in full swing, and the drama with the guests is just as compelling as what's going on with the crew.

After their first charter became the most-talked-about one of the spinoff's second season, reality star Erica Rose and her mom, Cindi Rose, returned to Parsifal III in the hopes that they would have a more satisfactory experience by getting a "higher level of service."

While Captain Glenn Shephard and First Mate Gary King were mostly amused at the prospect of Erica and Cindi returning, Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher quickly made her disappointment known when she referred to the charter group as "disrespectful, exhausting, emotionally draining," and "unpredictable."

Though Cindi and Erica did return, the rest of their group was new to Parsifal III . The Bachelor alum's husband, Charles "Chuck" Sanders, two friends, and another couple made their Below Deck Sailing Yacht debut on the March 7 episode.

With Erica and Cindi's new group of guests and a mostly new crew, there was hope that things would go more smoothly than they did in Season 2. However, it didn't take long for the charter to go off the rails (or sails, so to speak).

Since the first part of their charter is getting a lot of attention online, Erica spoke with Distractify to clear up a few misconceptions about what happened, and to discuss why her second time on the show wasn't a "pleasant experience." Plus, she also shared why she was surprised by Daisy's strong reaction to her return.

Erica Rose on returning to 'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' with her husband, Charles Sanders, and the omelette drama.

Though her first charter wasn't fully up to her standards, Erica said that she wanted to return to the show in Season 3 because her daughters were a bit older, she was feeling more confident with herself, and she thought that there would be less drama if she brought her husband along, instead of doing another girls' trip. She was hopeful that it would be a more "positive experience" the second time around — but things didn't exactly go to plan.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Erica Rose 🌹 Sanders (@ericatherose)

"I really did not come in with a dramatic intention," Erica said to Distractify , before adding that most of the drama came from her husband and her mom.

"People are kind of blaming me for it. To me, that's a little unfair, because you can only control your own actions. Of course, I can never control my mom, and I can't control my husband either," she added. "And this was his first time on reality TV."

Because she had raved to her husband about Chef Natasha de Bourg's food after her first stint on Parsifal III (and Erica and Charles had actually eaten the chef's food several times after the show), Erica realized that they would be "picky" about new Chef Marcos Spaziani's meals, since he has a completely different cooking style.

At the end of the March 7 episode, ahead of their beach brunch, Charles ordered an omelette from the chef. He sent back the first one because it had tomatoes, and was ultimately unsatisfied with the chef's second egg offering. Charles went on to say that he was "disgusted" by the breakfast, and that he had eaten "better food at the ballpark."

Charles "Chuck" Sanders and Erica Rose Sanders

"There was no need for Chuck to be that dramatic about eggs. I've seen him eat a lot grosser things before... It was a bit much," Erica said about her husband's strong reaction at the end of the episode. "I don't think it's funny, I don't think it captures who he is. I don't think he would do that if it wasn't a television show."

Erica said that her husband, who is also her law partner at Rose Sanders PLLC, played it up for the cameras. Charles, who majored in theatre in college, took the experience as a pseudo-acting role (though Erica noted that nothing was scripted, she did say that guests are encouraged to vocalize their complaints).

"It was his moment in the sun," Erica said about Charles' reality TV debut. "I was just in a good place and I wanted to be peaceful compared to last time, but he's his own person. That's just what he felt like doing. And he's excited by it."

Though Erica and Charles have received many negative comments on social media about their Below Deck Sailing Yacht appearance, the latter spouse is choosing to solely look at the positive — which is that their law firm is getting a lot of searches online.

Erica herself gets why viewers are saying certain things about her group, but she thinks that they should keep in mind that the yachties themselves are often looking to engage in the drama, too.

"People also have to remember that these are not just people who work on yachts... These people are also reality stars. They're feeding off of the drama too," Erica said. "The producers don't just take yacht employees, like they look for a cast that is going to play into stuff, make good ratings, etc."

The lawyer touched on Daisy's "animosity," and whether she would do another charter on Parsifal III.

Erica's initial Below Deck Sailing Yacht experience may have fallen short, but she thought that she'd left the vessel on positive terms with Daisy the first time around. The two even interacted with one another on social media a few times after filming, so Erica was surprised when she heard what Daisy had to say about her and her husband on the show, and in her confessionals.

"We did keep in touch throughout, and I have no idea where the animosity came from," Erica shared.

Daisy called Charles "uncultured, unmannered, [and] untraveled" in her interview chair, and she had a strong message for him in the closing seconds of the March 7 episode.

"Chuck, go f--k yourself," Daisy said about the lawyer.

The You're Cut Off star knew that Daisy had said things about her first charter being high-maintenance, but she thought that it was because of her group, not her.

"I just really didn't anticipate negativity because Daisy wasn't personally negative at me the first time. She said our group of friends was a lot to handle, and I totally understand that," Erica added. "But I didn't expect the personal attacks."

Though Erica's Season 3 charter is continuing to be a hot topic of conversation, her second appearance on the show will likely be her last.

"Definitely not on the sailing yacht, no..." Erica said about whether she would return to Below Deck Sailing Yacht in the future. "It wasn't a very pleasant experience. I just 100 percent wouldn't do that one again."

New episodes of Below Deck Sailing Yacht air on Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo. You can also stream the series on Peacock.

Below Deck’s Daisy Reveals Scathing Messages From Erica Rose’s Mom, Accuses Her of “Lies” and “Slander,” Plus What Wasn’t Shown

Below Deck’s Daisy Reveals Scathing Messages From Erica Rose’s Mom, Accuses Her of “Lies” and “Slander,” Plus What Wasn't Shown

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Daisy Kelliher is not holding back on the ongoing feud between herself and returning charter guests  Erica Rose Sanders , Charles Sanders , and Erica’s mother Cindi Rose .

As fans will remember, Daisy was less-than-thrilled that Erica was returning for a second charter this season, and the two have been in a heated exchange (mostly, on Erica and company’s part).

Daisy did take the time to clarify on Twitter what exactly she was feeling toward the returning guests in real-time during the latest episode.

Daisy reacts to Erica's return

Daisy then went on to defend castmates Gabriela Barragan and Ashley Marti for also having to deal with the difficult couple.

Daisy felt back for Gabriela and Ashley.

Erica’s husband Charles has gone on record saying that the show was scripted and that he was “acting” on his most recent appearance of the show because that’s what producers wanted — a claim that the rest of the crew has adamantly denied.

Now, on a new episode o f The Pita Party Instagram series that Daisy co-hosts with fellow Below Deck stars Dani Soares and Alli Dore , Daisy is sharing the scathing messages Cindi had for the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew after their first visit. She certainly did not hold back revealing why she was not in the mood to have them back aboard.

Daisy pulled out her tablet and read the messages she received from Cindi.

“All the crew worked hard, except for Captain Glenn and Daisy, who I think were there to create fake rocking ships and try to pretend he [and] she [were] yacht royalty were working. Daisy ordered people around, but I never saw her do any work,” Daisy began.

Daisy then revealed the message pivoted toward Captain Glenn’s treatment of the group and his not wanting to attend a “women’s empowerment” dinner.

“What would we talk about? That you were an older, confirmed bachelor who likes to be alone? It was rude of you to refuse our good manners. You are 50 something and should know manners by now. To ask people to pay over $25,000 per person and tell them it’s a luxury trip and show us activities and complain about us behind our backs is so immature and then expect tips that we generously did. At least we have manners,” Daisy shared in Cindi’s words.

Daisy made sure to let Below Deck fans know that it’s not particularly Erica, Charles, or Cindi’s frustrating behavior onboard the yacht itself that made her “blood boil,” but rather, it’s the “slander” and “lies” that they spread through social media.

“So when I saw this [Cindi’s message], it got my f***ing blood boiling,” Because it’s lies, it’s slander. It’s insane. And I didn’t retaliate. I didn’t say anything. I didn’t do anything,” she revealed.

“They are everything that I hate about social media. I hate liars. I hate fabricators. I hate people who use social media as a platform to spread gossip. And they’re everything of what I think represents is awful in the world and awful about social media,” the chief stew said.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Crew Had Their Hands Full With Memorable AF Charter Guests

Take a closer look at the entertaining charter guests from may 17's episode of below deck sailing yacht ..

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew just couldn't catch a break.

On the Monday, May 17 episode, Captain Glenn Shephard and company scrambled to assess the damage following last week's boat crash . Although the situation wasn't great, they were able to do a quick cosmetic fix since the transom door was able to open.

The drama didn't stop there as deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux panicked that he had "f--king chlamydia…again." On top of all of this, the charter guests were a demanding group of ladies, who expected nothing less than perfection.

For starters, there was co-primary charter guest  Erica , who requested that the interior crew unpack all of the luggage. Oh, and while "seasick" (AKA seemingly intoxicated) she asked Captain Glenn to make the ship stop rocking in a thunderstorm.

Sorry, Erica. The man's a sea captain, not Poseidon.

There was also charter guest Bianca , who upset her peers by wearing a Trump campaign bikini. "I just hate getting political," co-primary charter guest Jess snapped after Bianca's "Titties for Trump" declaration.

Speaking of Jess, later on, first mate Gary King and chief engineer Colin Macrae were ripped into after they were caught gossiping about the guests. In Jess' defense, it was unprofessional. Yet, by causing a scene she was proving their point that this group was bound to be a handful.

This is only a taste of what went down on tonight's episode. We're, of course, talking about the seemingly out of nowhere fight where Bianca accused the other ladies of bullying and slut-shaming her.

We have a feeling this is the "challenging" group that chief stewardess Daisy Kelliher teased to E! News earlier this month. "There's definitely one more group that, you know, for me, really stuck out," she said at the time. "I thought they were all actually fine. I really enjoyed all of them but, there were two that were definitely a bit more difficult and a bit more challenging."

For a closer look at these ladies and more interesting Below Deck charter guests, scroll through the images below.

The Bravo franchise has had plenty of dramatic and crazy moments thanks to some unruly and demanding guests, including Georgia , who was a little too flirty with no-nonsense leader Captain Lee Rosbach .

Sometimes, you just want a foam party—at least, that's what this demanding guest asked for. Was it eyebrow-raising to see him drunkenly partying in what ended up being about four inches of foam? Yes. Was it still epic because of how excited he was? Also yes.

Where do we start with Delores ? The season eight Below Deck charter guest made a splash, literally and figuratively, after she drunkenly jumped into the ocean late at night. To make matters worse, this swimming session was in direct defiance to Captain Lee's order to stay on the boat. In a first for his career, Captain Lee ended Delores' charter early and sent her packing.

However, while being escorted away on the tender, Delores jumped into the ocean. Bold move, lady.

Barrie boarded the Parsifal III with his blended family, including his current fiancé and his ex-husband, in season two of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . With such a large guest list, the crew was certainly put to work, especially chef Natasha . Not only did Barrie have no problem sending his breakfast back, but he also refused to have his family served buffet-style.

The first charter of Below Deck season eight was certainly a memorable one. We're, of course, talking about when the charter guests found themselves bickering over deckhand  James Hough . Specifically, charter guest Shay called dibs on the British yachtie. However, her boatmance hopes were derailed when pal Lexi flirtatiously rode a jet ski with James. Thus, a fight broke out over dinner, which shocked the Below Deck crew.

It was ladies night on the high seas in this episode of  Below Deck Mediterranean , but as the drinks flowed, some of the women started to get a little handsy  with deckhand  Jack Stirrup . Thankfully,  Captain Sandy swooped in to save the day.

The crew aboard this ship got a show they didn't ask for when two of the guests hooked up in the crow's nest, a part of the ship that everyone could see on camera.

In the same episode that the crew witnessed the on-deck hookup of two of their guests, they also discovered that their passengers also had never heard of cleaning up after themselves when they stumbled upon a used condom on the nightstand.

For the most part, the charter guest is always right. However, in season two of Below Deck Sailing Yacht , charter guest Erica requested that Captain Glenn Shephard do something to make the ship stop rocking. Unfortunately for Erica, they were in the middle of a thunderstorm and Captain Glenn didn't have the power to control the weather.

Other highlights from this charter group include a woman with hours worth of stories, bullying accusations among the ladies and so much more.

While many guests on  Below Deck have been demanding, this may be the most ridiculous request because of how random it was. On one of the episodes, guests demanded gumballs, but not just any gumballs. They had to be colored gumballs and they even threatened to require they be delivered by helicopter if there were none on board.

Not every guest has found their trip to be a five-star experience, but usually they stick around to give feedback as to why. On this episode of  Below Deck , we learn that a few of the guests straight-up ghosted upon arrival and fled the ship before even saying goodbye to the crew.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.

Don't forget, you can catch up on your favorite Bravo shows on Peacock .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 Cast: Where Are They Now?

Here's what happened to Daisy, Colin, Captain Glenn and the rest of the Parsifal crew.

preview for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 trailer (Bravo)

While Season 1 of the Below Deck 's second spin-off Sailing Yacht felt tame—for lack of a better word—fans have been in for quite a treat with a nearly all-new and far more exciting cast for Season 2. So far, we've been introduced to the likes of Chief Engineer Colin Macrae, Chef Natasha, and Chief Stewardess, Daisy, all of whom have become fan favorites, and rightfully so. As the crew navigates the waters of Croatia, that isn't the only thing they're sailing through. With a plethora of hookups and questionable charter guests, this season is shaping up to be one of the rockiest.

Considering the series filmed in August 2020, viewers are curious about the whereabouts of our Sailing Yacht favorites...and, more importantly, how the cast and crew managed to film for several weeks amid lockdown. As it turns out, the location of this season was chosen intentionally. At that time, Croatia remained one of few countries in the EU to accept American tourists. In a Reddit AMA , a producer for the show also explained that maintaining safety protocols (which likely included regular Covid testing) was key in filming this season.

Here's what happened to your favorite crew members from Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2:

Colin Macrae

Colin Macrae might serve as the Chief Engineer aboard the Parsifal III, however, when it comes to the inner workings of his relationship, things aren’t as black and white. Despite gushing over his relationship with Martina Alvarez last summer, Macrae revealed that he and Martina have officially parted ways. “Unfortunately my relationship with Martina came to an end a couple of months ago,” Colin captioned his most recent YouTube video . Although his romance is no more, Colin remains optimistic for what’s to come as he embarks on a “fresh start” in none other than Panama. Colin has also continued his efforts in creating content online documenting his many adventures in Linton Bay, Panama , where he’s resided over the course of the last few months.

Glenn Shephard

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured captain glenn shephard photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Captain Glenn Shephard is back and better than ever! The sailboat captain may only have 2 seasons of Below Deck under his belt, but his 20 years of experience certainly make him a notable addition to the Bravo family. Since his summer in Croatia last year, Gl enn has since moved to Spain , which Shephard has deemed his new “happy place.” While becoming a Bravo-lebrity can go to one’s head, Glenn has remained modest when it comes to his newfound fame. The star now offers Zoom sessions with fans of the show, where he dishes on behind-the-scenes details all while sipping cocktails on the Spanish coast.

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured gary king photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

First Officer Gary King walked away from his very first season on Below Deck Sailing Yacht feeling nothing but grateful. “Reminiscing about the last 6 weeks that have just flown by. I learned lessons that I’ll carry for life,” Gary wrote on Instagram . While fans have been rooting for him and fellow stewardess, Alli Dore to set sails on a possible romance, it appears as King has been flying solo since the series ended. After traveling about to a number of stunning locations, including Mallorca, Spain, Gary returned home to South Africa just in time for Christmas. The Bravo star has since remained in his home country, occupying himself with a series of visits to the golf range and a new passion for landscape photography and cooking.

Natasha De Bourg

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured natasha de bourg photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

The Michelin-star chef has been tuning in this season from her home in the Bahamas, and, well, she hasn't taken to it favorably. The star has posted a series of pics on her Instagram detailing her frustrations with herself on the show, claiming that she is “human and humans are imperfect.” Luckily for Natasha, her friendship with both Dani and Alli has blossomed immensely since wrapping up, and the two have been a huge support for Natasha as she cruises through these waves of criticism.

Daisy Kelliher

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured daisy kelliher photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Being the Chief Stewardess on any yacht is no easy feat, and Daisy Kelliher is certainly feeling the burn. Following her time at sea in Croatia, Daisy, unfortunately, broke her wrist and found herself back home with mom and dad in Ireland . During lockdown, Daisy accepted a job in Antigua two months later, however, due to the current situation, her efforts at finding adventure fell flat. “I had completely lost myself,” Daisy captioned her photo on Instagram , revealing she began pushing friends away and entered a dark space. Luckily for the Below Deck star, she feels like herself again and is set to start a new job. During a live chat, Daisy revealed to co-star, Sydney Zaruba that she is most likely headed back to Europe, although she’s left much of what she’ll be doing a mystery.

Dani Soares

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured daniele soares photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Dani Soares soared to being a fan favorite this current season and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. Soares, who reigns all the way from Brazil, has gone on to make quite a name for herself since her summer in Croatia. The star currently resides in Sydney, Australia where she is expecting her very first child. Dani revealed the news on social media back in April, however, both her due date and daddy status remain unknown. Although fans have inquired who the father is, Soares made it clear that it isn’t “anybody’s business.” As she embarks on her journey towards motherhood, Dani is currently working as a beauty therapist in the land down under all while taking in her recent rise to fame.

Alli Dore is the third stewardess to join the hit Bravo series, and boy are we glad she did. After wrapping up her summer in Croatia, Alli returned home to Australia, where she was born and raised. Her love for boating didn’t stop when the summer did, as she went on to spend her time in the Whitsundays Islands. As for Alli’s personal life, the star made an appearance on the Unpopular podcast where she revealed that she is pansexual. [I am] “attracted to people’s aura,” she revealed. Alli has gone on to start her very own IGTV series called Pita Party , which she stars in alongside Sailing Yacht co-stars, Daisy and Dani.

Sydney Zaruba

Sydney Zaruba found herself in quite the love triangle last summer in Croatia, but today, she is all about keeping her inner circle small. Sydney, who was born and raised in Florida, moved on over to the stunning island of Mallorca, Spain where she currently works on a 42-meter sailing yacht! This is nothing new for Sydney; considering her experience on Below Deck and, of course, her long history of sailing with her family. In addition to being at sea, Sydney decided to become a travel agent with Explorateur Travel. While the cast of Sailing Yacht has gone their separate ways since the summer ended, Sydney still managed to bump into none other than Captain Glenn on the streets of Palma.

Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux

below deck sailing yacht season2 pictured jean luc cerza lanaux photo by laurent bassetbravonbcu photo bank via getty images

Jean-Luc may be the youngest Below Deck crew member but he certainly makes up for it in height? Following his summer working on the Parsifal III, Jean-Luc traveled to Mallorca, Spain, an idea many of his co-stars had as well. Shortly after, the 25-year-old made his way on over to Costa Rica , which he’s called home for the last several months. Despite the remarkable views, Jean-Luc is entering some rocky waters as a plethora of rumors have surfaced questioning his role in Dani Soares’ pregnancy. Not only have fans been flooding his social media with questions concerning whether he’s the father or not, but fellow charter guest, Barrie Drewitt-Barlow also went on to add fuel to the fire. In an Instagram video posted back in April, Barrie claimed that Jean-Luc “was too busy getting the other one [Dani] pregnant … He’s gonna be a daddy,” he said. While Dani laughed off the comment, Jean-Luc has yet to address the rumors.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Returns This March: Check Out the New Crew

Captain Glenn Shephard loses his cool like never before in Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht .

below deck sailing yacht season 2 guests erica

Below Deck Sailing Yacht is taking us on quite the journey when it returns for Season 2 on Monday, March 1 at 9/8c with a supersized premiere episode.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Peacock and the Bravo app .

Captain Glenn Shephard is back to sail around Croatia with an all-new crew in Season 2, including chef Natasha De Bourg , chief stew Daisy Kelliher , chief engineer Colin Macrae , first mate Gary King , second stew Dani Soares , third stew Alli Dore , deckhand Sydney Zaruba , and deckhand Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux .

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht boss has high hopes for his crew in the new season. "I'm looking forward to a great season. We've got a great team," Captain Glenn says in the above trailer for Season 2. "I'm looking forward to knocking it out of the park."

But you better believe the Parsifal III yachties came to work and play. "Everyone's in party mode," Colin notes in the trailer. "This is gonna get crazy."

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Producers Describe What It's Really Like Filming Charter Guests

And the chief engineer isn't kidding. When the Below Deck Sailing Yacht crew isn't catering to the demands of their charter guests, they will be letting loose like no other yachties that have come before. With new safety protocols in place, the crew must stay on the yacht in between charters, blurring the lines between their professional and personal lives. Yes, hookups are definitely on the horizon.

The Parsifal III crew members are also going to bring it when it comes to workplace drama with yachting mishaps and some major conflict in the galley. The Season 2 trailer also teases a moment where the usually cool Captain Glenn appears to be the angriest we've ever seen him.

Let's just say the fireworks won't only be in the sky this season.

Check out the full trailer, above, to see everything on the way in Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2.

Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9, Episode 14 Recap: Maximum Insecurity

Welcome to the  Below Deck Mediterranean  Season 9, Episode 14 recap! In this week’s episode, called “New Kid on the Dock,” the new stew on board captures Joe’s attention, while simultaneously bringing Ellie’s insecurity to a boil. Bri’s still mixing up everyone’s laundry, but Sandy’s willing to give her one more chance. Joe’s constant “nit-picking” is getting on Gael’s nerves, and she finally loses her cool with him. Here are some of the highlights from Below Deck Med Season 9, Episode 14.

A new stew joins the crew

Nathan welcomes the new girl , Scottish lassie Carrie O’Neill, aboard. He tells her she’s arrived at the right time since it’s the crew’s night out.

When she meets Sandy, the captain is pleased to see she’s got mixology experience. She’ll be a better choice to tend the bar than Ellie, who struggles.

Aesha is beyond pleased to finally have some experienced help on board. Carrie’s been a chief stew before, so she should fit right in with minimal training. And she’s ready to work wherever she’s needed.

“I don’t mind where you put me,” Carrie interviews. “Third stew, fourth stew, whatever. That doesn’t really bother me.”

Unfortunately, when Ellie comes out dressed up for their night off, Carrie gets off on the wrong foot. Ellie is a bit overdressed with a tiny crop top and super high heels.

Carrie jokes, “We need to get you a stripper pole to go with the stripper heels.” Ellie’s offended. They are pretty high. She can barely walk down the gangway to go to dinner.

Joe’s attention is all on the shiny new girl. Bri jokes he’s going for “number three,” but at least she was “number one.” In the van she tells Jono and Nathan that she’s “done” with Joe. He’s already on to the next new thing.

Nathan tells her, “He’s like a dog with two d*cks. He’ll never seal the deal.”

Ellie sees a rival, and there’s bad news for Nathan from home

Aesha and Carrie seem to be hitting it off like a house on fire.

“Aesha and Carrie seem to be getting along very quickly,” Ellie interviews. “This might mean some sort of trouble for me. I’ve earned my position on this boat, and if my position should be threatened at all, I’m just not going to back down. That’s just how I operate.”

Later, Nathan gets a text from a friend: “Did you hear Tommy passed away 2 days ago?”

“What the f*ck?!” Nathan says and immediately starts wiping away tears.

Gael notices how quiet he is and asks, “What’s happening? Are you okay?”

Later at the club, Nathan’s hitting the drinks pretty hard. “Are you all right?” she asks again.

In a confessional, Nathan explains, “So I get this text that my friend’s just passed away from cancer. I knew he had cancer, but the night before I came to join the boat, we were out drinking. He seemed like he was okay … I’m just pushing it aside for now.”

On the way back to the boat, Nathan snaps at Gael, and she knows he’s not okay. “What’s going on?” she finally asks. “Why have you cut me off?”

“I have a friend who died yesterday night,” he tearfully admits.

“I’m so sorry,” she says, giving him a hug. “I understand.”

Back in the boys’ cabin, Aesha tells Joe he needs to support his friend. “He’s distraught right now,” she says.

When Nathan returns to their cabin, Joe says, “How are you, lad? … It’s life, you know. We’re just on a little journey.”

As shallow as Joe can be, he’s concerned about Nathan. “He’s a brother, so I’m gonna be there for Nathan. Whatever he needs.”

“I hope you can get some rest,” Joe says, helping Nathan into his upper bunk.

Preparing for the new guests

The next morning, Aesha has a little meeting with her newly expanded service crew. “On this charter,” she tells them, “[Ellie and Bri] will still be on your same schedules … [Carrie’s] gonna be with me. I just want you to float around and help as needed.”

Aesha just wants to see what Carrie can do, so she knows how to fit her into the schedule.

“[Carrie’s experience] outranks Ellie and Bri,” the chief stew confesses. “But I don’t want to upset anyone. So she’s just, like, my floater. There’s no rank.”

But in an interview, Ellie seems to think she’s still above Carrie, as she’s the second stew. “We’re in a hierarchy for a reason,” she interviews. “So just play your role.” Should be interesting when the new guests come, and we find out how many stripes Aesha gives Carrie. I can’t wait.

Meanwhile, on deck, Joe and Gael are getting things ready for the guests to arrive at 1:00. As Gael squeegees the glass, Joe suggests she use the smaller squeegee, since it works better.

Even though he’s the Lead Deckhand and entitled to give her direction, she thinks he’s being “passive-aggressive.”

“I don’t know if he’s trying to prove himself,” Gael interviews, “but I don’t think this is the way to do it … I know what I’m doing.” His “micromanaging” is driving her crazy.

More laundry mixup

Crew members are still struggling to find their uniforms. How is laundry so hard? You wash it, you dry it, you look at the nametags, and return everything to its rightful owner. Why is Bri so bad at this?

Even though he’s annoyed, Joe’s actually “shutting me mouth,” so Bri doesn’t get fired. Finally, he breaks down and tells Aesha that he’s on his last polo shirt and can she “sort it out” for him?

“I had no idea the crew has been covering up for [Bri],” Aesha interviews. “It just makes me want to explode.”

“I had to separate jobs in the laundry to pander to Bri because she swore [she wasn’t] making the mistakes,” Aesha adds in her confessional. “[But] it was Bri the whole time.”

It’s too late in the season to replace her. And then she’d be down to three stews again. “I really, really want to finish with four,” she adds.

Even so, Aesha tells Captain Sandy that people have been avoiding telling her that they have no clean uniforms, in order to protect Bri.

“I love that the crew [has] each other’s back,” Sandy confesses. “But we need to know … in order to correct it.”

“Just leave it with me,” Sandy says. “I’ll deal with it.”

Getting to the bottom of the laundry problem

When Sandy goes down to the laundry looking for her own clothes, Bri has mixed everything up.

“Why are you moving my clothes?” she asks. “You are still f*cking up with the laundry. What is it? What do you think it is?”

“I just feel like the system isn’t working for me,” Bri says. System? It’s laundry! It shouldn’t be that hard.

“Whatever you need to do your job is what you ask for,” Sandy says.

Bri suggests “little clip-on beads with colors,” cause she thinks she’ll remember better with colors rather than with writing. Why didn’t she bring this up before?

Sandy says, “Just get your head in the game. We’ve got two charters left … I’m gonna get you what you need.”

Failure to communicate

The new charter guests are on board, and everyone has a drink in hand. It’s time to get going. Iain’s dragging his feet about releasing lines, even though he’s got three people on the stern. Sandy sends Joe back to help.

“We’re on the second to the last charter,” Sandy confesses. “We should be able to un-dock with our eyes closed.”

When Iain ignores Sandy’s radio calls, she tells him to let his crew handle the lines so he can just talk to her. “Iain, you need to communicate,” she radios.

As Ellie sets the table for lunch, the wind knocks over one of the wine glasses. Aesha starts cleaning up the glass. She tells Ellie and Carrie to “stand by in the galley to start running platters.”

Ellie hears “start running platters,” and Carrie follows her lead. They both head up to the table, serving dishes in hand.

When Aesha sees them approaching, she says, “No, I didn’t say ‘come.’ I said ‘stand by.’” She’s still picking up broken glass.

“Jono, we’re just holding cause glass is flying everywhere,” Aesha radios the chef.

Ellie grows more insecure

Carrie attempts to make a suggestion to Ellie at the bar. The Second Stew rebuffs her.

“I don’t know why we need a new person,” Ellie whines in a confessional. “It feels like I’m about to get demoted. If I’m reading this situation correctly, it would make me start resenting Aesha for that decision.”

In contrast, Bri is telling Jono about her “wack” morning while she washes dishes in the galley.

“I appreciate every second chance or … seventh chance that they’ve given me,” she says. “I’m just gonna try my best to do better.”

“Me, too,” he agrees.

Princess with a bite

The deck crew is grabbing a quick bite in the crew mess. Joe comes in and says they might as well put the water toys away. Gael’s already showered and changed into her polo since Iain told her she could.

“I don’t have any dry wets,” Gael says, meaning the long-sleeve shirt they wear to protect them from the sun and small water creatures, such as jellyfish.

“You’re a princess,” Joe accuses her.

“You’re a pr*ck,” she snaps back.

“At least we both know where we stand,” Joe shrugs.

As Gael stomps off to her cabin, Nathan tells Joe, “You proper pissed her off, man.” Joe says he’ll apologize.

For her part, Gael admits her “blood is boiling.” She thinks the closer she gets to Nathan, the more Joe picks on her. And she’s not going to put up with it.

“I’m no princess, honey,” she interviews. “If he’s trying to get a reaction out of me, I’ll give you one. And then I’ll give you another.”

Ellie questions her boss

Carrie pops her head into the laundry to see if Bri needs any help. Bri says she’s good, and when she leaves, Bri interviews, “I’m just so happy to have [Carrie] around to get some extra help.”

What a difference between Bri and Moaning Myrtle.

Aesha’s tidying the bar when Ellie stops by. “How nice is this?” Aesha asks. “We’re so on top of things now!”

“So Carrie was on service today, just for training, right?” Ellie asks.

Aesha explains that she had Carrie helping out so she could gauge how much she knows about service. She’ll actually be filling in everywhere.

“I kind of felt like a third wheel,” Ellie says. “Is this how it’s gonna go for the rest of the season?”

“You were here, too, though,” Aesha responds.

“As a third wheel,” Ellie laughs nervously. “As long as I don’t feel like I’m being demoted.”

“At the end of the day, it’s my call,” Aesha says. “I’ll put her where I see fit. I’m not demoting you, I’m just putting her on service.”

“Just checking,” Ellie says, before walking away.

“When I’ve got Carrie around,” Aesha interviews, “I understand why Ellie might be feeling like a third wheel. But she should be grateful that we’ve got an extra set of hands. If you want to be a chief stew, you’ve got to understand that the most important thing is the guest experience. Not my second stew’s insecurity.”

Below Deck Mediterranean  airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Exclusive: Erica Rose defends husband Charles Sanders amid Below Deck Sailing Yacht backlash

Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Erica Rose stands up for her husband Chuck's behavior.

Erica Rose has defended her husband, Charles Sanders, aka Chuck, amid all the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 backlash.

There’s no question Erica and Chuck have brought a lot of drama to Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Chief stew Daisy Kelliher hasn’t held back expressing her opinion of the group on and off-screen.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht charter guest Erica Rose defends Chuck amid backlash

Chuck has earned a lot of backlash for his behavior on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, especially his gross food rant and bashing of chef Marcos Spaziani. Erica admitted the personal attacks on her and Chuck have been hard for her, but he has not been fazed about it.

“He has a really thick skin, and I’m protective over him. I really love him,” she expressed. “I’ve got these negative comments about him, on my own personal Instagram, people are messaging me and saying like, ‘Oh no, how could you be married to him? He’s so mean,'” she shared.

Erica explained Chuck was acting, or rather playing up, a character that the producers liked. While his behavior was giving the producers what they wanted, she clarified that nothing Chuck did was scripted.

“He said he was acting. He was a theater major in college and he was just having fun. It was not scripted, and no one handed him a script. No one told him to do or say anything,” she stated.

Like on Season 2, Erica, Chuck, and their group met with producers where they were told “all types of stuff.” One thing they were encouraged to do was share complaints if any arose.

She feels Chuck got caught up in the reality TV of it all, as some people do when they are first on a reality TV show.

“I think he was getting caught up in it. I do think that when cameras are around, people’s personalities get amplified and especially when for the first time,” Erica said. “He felt like it was his job, even though we aren’t paid to be there. But in the moment, he felt like it was his job to be as entertaining and over-the-top.”

Erica explained Chuck was more of himself on the first night. As for the next morning with the omelette, she revealed he would not act like that in real life. Chuck would have eaten it, unless there were tomatoes on the omelette because he hates tomatoes.

What else does Erica want Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans to know about Chuck and their charter?

Aside from defending her husband, Erica also shared Chuck’s behavioral moments were far from the only moments that occurred on their charter.

“There were happy moments that weren’t shown like when he bought a bottle of Scotch and was just drinking it with the crew and having fun,” she recalled.

Speaking of having fun, Erica spilled Gabriela Barragan led a yoga class one day. Erica called it a beautiful moment for her group.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Erica Rose ? Sanders (@ericatherose)

Along with getting to know Gabriela, Erica revealed that her group got to know Gary King, Captain Glenn Shephard, and Colin MacRae better than on her previous charter.

Despite the criticism, Erica shared she wants people to know that Chuck’s screen time was “not an accurate portrayal of who he is.” As for Chuck, he’s just happy he was able to entertain audiences.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht airs Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo.

I guess Chuck’s “acting” explains their gross tip as well?

Stacey Allen Ledovsky

Did everyone see Chuckie taking money out of the case on the table? It looked like he was stealing part of the tip.

anne0

Totally! Chuck was playing the role of DOUCHEBAG

Darcy

There is nothing she could ever say to explain away his behavior. They are a miserable group and I hope they never are on TV again. They should be embarrassed. And that tip just shows what little class they have and what little respect they have for people that work in the service industry.

Anonymous

They are both disgusting and vile. I hope their law practice suffers because of their behavior on this show. Horrid people.

When will the crew receive the rest of their tip???

Anonymous

Tonight’s episode had several gross moments. I was mortified by the mom never acknowledging that she made a disgusting mess all over the couch, then denied it, and had the balls to say everyone else had to pay for it. So classless. And Erica was so rude and two faced. I fell over when she mentioned how dramatic her friends were on the last season when it was her creating the drama. And I also think it’s embarrassing she hasn’t addressed the tip yet. That was horrific. Hopefully they’re banned from Below Deck and any yacht moving forward. I sincerely hope her hair stylist ditched her.

Tbone

“I’ve never wished a man dead, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure.” Clarence Darrow

RB

Vile, vile disgusting people. Slobs all the way around. Who in the hell puts bronzer on their legs and then sits on a white couch and then denies it was her? The crew went over and above for this obnoxious group and the tip they left was insulting. They should be ashamed. I sincerely hope they are never allowed to rent a super yacht again. It is obvious they have no class and do not know how to be decent to people. Shameless. Just shameless.

Laurie

That wasn’t entertaining, it was a complete lack of character.

Maria

Don’t quit your day job Chuckie. Hopefully this will give your clients reason to pause. Honestly, if I saw my attorney behaving like this, I’d drop him! There are plenty of well behaved qualified attorneys out there who don’t need to go on reality shows to stroke their fragile egos!

They are horrid people and have no business on a super yacht. In Chuckle’s world he left a MacDonalds tip cheap ahole

Cherri

And the reason for the insulting tip? They should be banished to bus travel and fast food.

brechlintom2

I have not seen the latest episode so I don’t know what the tip was. Sounds like it was pretty bad. I knew it was gonna be bad when the moron said he was going to reduce the tip every time he was unhappy. That being said, maybe they need the $$ more then the staff. Mom didn’t even fly first class.

David

If you can’t afford to tip don’t pretend to afford the experience. Playing to the cameras doesn’t mean one has to be a prick.

Christopher W Fiene

If they can’t afford the tip, they can’t afford the trip. That’s certainly no excuse in my book…nor in the book if any hard working service industry professional.

Kiki B

I was physically repulsed looking and listening to Erica, her husband, and her mother. Like truly got the willys. Their personalities were schizophrenic, obnoxious and devoid of any redeeming qualities. And its always someone else’s fault. And the amount of sub par plastic surgery in the last year was comedic. Just say No! Can you imagine the filth in their house? Makes ya want to run right over for a meal of creamed spinach and e coli. Full time housekeepers for sure just to pick up after the adults. But no chef necessary cause Momma’s cooking Spaghettios for dinner.

patricia boas

bottom line, acting or not.. douchbag and i dont believe the drinking with the crew… hes not a nice person… you dont act like that, especially on camera… and i hope his business whatever he does fails, along with her.. you dont treat people that way

Kelly

So screwing the crew out of decent tip was, “acting”? Yup, that a jerk!

Dizzy

He jumped to the front of the line of assholes on TV really fast….I’m with the cook. Beat his a** down. Lawyer or not. I would have been locked up as well….I’ve never seen anything like him. No less on a channel that’s already full of people who have little regards for others…I would love to see their business suffer so they can no longer charter anything….not even a rickshaw…..just maybe a damaged old hot air balloon….wishful thinking….

Laura

Remember her mother falling face first in the water and all she was concerned about was her phone? Horrible people.

Scratchypants

Or when she asked her guests not to fight because “that happened last time and it wasn’t for me.” 100% self-absorbed.

Your husband is a huge douche. Oh and way to leave the sh**tiest tip I have ever seen on the show…

Was their ridiculously low tip part of the act too? “Chuck” should give up acting and Erica should get her head out of the clouds.

That’s all well and good, but what about the bull $#!+ tip he left for the crew? Was that acting too? She can defend her husband all she wants, but his actions show he’s an @$$hole to the core! His “acting” cost people real income.

Opinionist

They are not working for tips. They are working on contract for a television production company.

Unanimous

Does anyone remember how Erica acted on the Bachelor? Her and Chuckles are two peas in a pod. The lousy tip was disgusting.

It’s hard to believe that anyone believes it was real. As for the tip – don’t you realize that these so called yachties are paid to appear on the show? Do you really believe they’re on television, working for TIPS??? Open your eyes.

Roxie

I do not feel sorry for you – you chose to stay with that douche bag. You could have stood up to him and told him STFU and get some manners. As to “acting” tell it to the hand – he is just plain rude – he is definitely no actor – just low class, no manners.

1. NoONE believes that was an act – just normal low class, no manners on his part. 2. You are no better than he is by not telling him to STFU. 3. He sure did take tip money from what was given for the group from everything I’m reading – he attempted to screw the other couple who left early & gave him their tip money. 4. LOW class – left mess on sofa and then lied about it – fake tan is very bad. I guess maybe they gave the other couple’s money for the couch??? Tr__hbags! Please DO NOT EVER COME BACK ON HERE – WE DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU!@!!

Big brother 26’s joseph rodriguez exposes producer interference that made him seem arrogant, the golden bachelor's theresa nist shows off exciting new job amid gerry turner's damaged reputation.

Amid producer plant accusations, Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King revealed whether the storylines on the show are all fake. A long-time crew member of the franchise, Gary King joined Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 2 as First Officer. Although he has worked well with others during his long duration on the show, Gary's conduct has been questioned over the past year-and-a-half. Perceived as a womanizer for how he treated his female crewmates, Gary found himself in trouble on and off Below Deck .

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Gary King revealed the authenticity of the show's storylines.

In a post on Gary ’s Instagram Stories, he allowed viewers to ask him questions regarding Below Deck . One question asked if the producers influenced the drama at all. Gary jokingly replied, “Yeah they asked us to crash the boat…jokes, they have nothing to do with the drama that goes on. It’s an unscripted show.”

Although some of the storylines were far-fetched, Gary confirmed that the drama was real . This somewhat debunked speculation that producers had been interfering in the drama on Below Deck , and he confirmed that they just let it all play out.

Gary King Reveals If Charter Guests Are Told To “Act Crazy”

Gary will bring in viewers for sailing yacht season 5.

Gary opened his Instagram up for more questions, and some fans wanted to know about the guests that chartered the yacht. One fan wanted to know if producers told the guests to act crazy or if they were just crazy. In his reply, Gary stated, “Nope they’re all just crazy.” After the sexual misconduct claims levied against Gary after Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 4, he continued to be very vocal about Below Deck and his time on the show. However, he denied the sexual misconduct allegations against him, which could hinder viewership for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 .

Even though many fans made it clear they would not tune in for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5, it seemed as though some fans didn’t get the memo. Gary has maintained high interaction with fans of the franchise through his Instagram , with many interested in what’s coming next in the series. Although Gary’s allegations and lack of accountability was a huge turn-off, it’s clear that the scandal attracted new attention and interest, which is making Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 highly anticipated before its premiere.

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

As many fans of reality TV shows know, even unscripted drama can be manipulated by producers. Although Gary has cleared up the rumors of producer interference allegations by stating that the drama and storylines are all real, it will be interesting to see how they handle the allegations lodged against him during this upcoming season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht . It will be interesting to see if producers manipulate or avoid certain topics. Either way, Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 is going to be an interesting watch off of Gary’s appearance alone.

Below Deck has shared the beauty and splendor of working on a luxury yacht. At times, it's the perfect life, but it's not always the easiest job. Especially working on deck. Some individuals excel. Others have crashed and burned. Lying on your resume is not going to get you far in the yachting industry. Below Deck had some wild deckhands who just couldn’t do the job. Sometimes, even putting the boat at risk. These are the deckies who are considered the worst of the worst.

With five series within the Below Deck franchise, Below Deck has been one of Bravo's biggest properties since 2013. Showcasing the fun balanced with work life on board the world's most incredible yachts, Below Deck has kept viewers glued to their screens season after season.

10 Danny Zureikat

'below deck mediterranean' season 1.

Some individuals go above and beyond their job description. And that is fine. When it's warranted. For Below Deck Mediterranean 's Danny Zureikat , it was just too much. Everyone on the crew knew Danny was a good kid, he just wasn't meant to work on a megayacht.

Danny was the kind of person who wanted everybody to like him, even an attractive charter guest who miraculously and suddenly fell in love with. When he got a little too close, posing in photos with her and writing her a love note, he was reprimanded. He was warned about boundaries, but he defied those orders from Captain Mark Howard . He had his phone taken away while on charter, and made enemies with his fellow deckhands and Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier . Danny was ultimately let go in quite a tearful goodbye. As much as he meant well, he simply was not cut out for this life.

9 James Hough

'below deck' season 8.

James Hough was the flirt of Below Deck Season 8. As one of the attractive men aboard My Seanna, he was able to catch the eye of second stew Elizabeth Frankini . The two engaged in a bit of a flirtmance that ultimately distracted her to the point that Captain Lee Rosbach allowed Chief Stew Francesca Rubi to fire her.

Elizabeth blamed almost everyone else, but she might have been right that had it not been for James, she might have lasted until the season ended. James wasn't the most beloved by his fellow deckhands, causing him to think about leaving the season early. James was fine at his job, he just became a problem for everybody else.

8 Dane Jackson

'below deck' season 3.

Dane Jackson used to hold the title of the shortest tenure of a deckhand, but that honor was recently taken from him. Dane was one of the more controversial deckhands on Below Deck . Dane seemed to forget that his job was to remain professional while off the ship, and no matter what, they were still employees and represented the yacht.

Despite being a replacement deckhand, his job security was still at risk. He was a disruption to the crew through his drunken antics in the crew mess. During a crew excursion on an island, Dane continued his drunken antics and became unsafe to be around. Boson Eddie Lucas had to step in to reprimand Dane, which led to Captain Rosbach firing him the next day. Dane was there for a good time, not a long time.

7 Shane Coopersmith

When you earn the nickname Sunshine, normally it wouldn't be a bad thing. For Shane Coopersmith , it was used derogatory due to his positive demeanor. Being outgoing and positive didn't translate to his work onboard My Seanna. The Below Deck deckhand had a nonchalant aura, often found relaxing while the other deckhands were working hard.

While Shane always thrived at implementing the criticism to do better, it just didn't pan out. After sleeping past his alarm, Sunshine was let go by Captain Rosbach and Boson Lucas. They felt it was better to find someone else to take his spot. Shane was a really great person, but he just didn't gel with the rest of the crew.

6 Rhylee Gerber

'below deck' seasons 6 and 7.

With a fiery persona, Rhylee Gerber tried her best to get along with the boys. Unfortunately, that didn't necessarily happen. Some Below Deck fans might consider Rhylee misunderstood, but if you ask her coworkers, she was just a nuisance. Having prior experience as a captain on a fishing boat in Alaska, she was willing to get herself dirty with boys, but the yachting industry unfortunately became much more challenging.

During Season 6, she clashed with the first Boson of the season, Chandler Brooks . She was constantly at odds with Ashton Pienaar . This proved problematic when she was asked back as a replacement deckhand in the middle of the season under the guidance of Boson Ashton Pienaar. Ashton warned his crew about Rhylee, which caused immediate tension and strife. Rhylee may have had a strong work ethic, but her temper always got the best of her.

5 Peter Hunziker

'below deck mediterranean' season 5.

As a deckhand, Peter Hunziker was fine. However, Peter was known for making inappropriate comments towards his female coworkers. Boson Malia White was forced to endure him calling her "sweetheart" constantly. He was told to stop, but he didn't comprehend why it was a problem.

He was uncomfortably flirting with Chief Stew Bugsy Drake . But for Peter Hunziker, his Below Deck Mediterranean experience was shortened not by action on board, but by a social media post during the season. While Season 5 was in the middle of airing, a racist and misogynistic post resurfaced that caused Bravo and the show's production company to immediately fire him. He was edited out of the show, though he could occasionally be seen in the background of some shots.

4 Tom Pearson

'below deck sailing yacht' season 3.

Tom Pearson was really sweet. He wanted to prove his work while on Below Deck Sailing Yacht . Unfortunately, one crucial mistake cost him his job . With a resume that was perfect for the position, Parsifal III was his first time working on a ship of this magnitude.

After partying a bit too hard, Tom didn't have the best first impression. He tried to redeem himself, but after allowing the anchor to drag during an overnight watch, Captain Glenn Shephard had no other choice but to fire him. Tom understood his error and understood why he was let go. Tom may be one of the few individuals on this list that might actually deserve a second chance.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht

3 trevor walker, 'below deck' season 4.

Trevor Walker was too big for his britches. The former Paul Mitchell hair model came to Below Deck with an ego and an attitude, putting off all of his coworkers. When he first arrived on the motoryacht Valour, he was hired as the senior deckhand and second engineer. By the end of episode two, Trevor was demoted.

His inability to connect with the rest of the crew made him quite problematic as a worker. The dynamic was turbulent. Following a night out that led to excessive drinking and horrible behavior, the demoted deckhand was let go by Captain Rosbach. With his dismissal, the energy onboard quickly changed for the better.

2 Kyle Dickard

'below deck adventure' season 1.

For whatever reason, Below Deck Adventure never took off compared to the other spin-offs. The series, which was located in the stunning locales of Norway, took the formula of the flagship series but with an entirely new crew. One of whom was hot-headed deckhand Kyle Dickard . Like many others before him, Kyle was focused more on the fun rather than the work .

Having spent much of his time trying to have a fling with stew Kasie Faddah in front of charter guests. During crew nights out, Kyle's disruptive and aggressive behavior irked everyone. With living quarters so tight, Kyle also happened to be a terrible cabinmate. Deckhand Nathan Morley attempted to address the problems, but Kyle threatened to physically attack him. This was the final straw for Captain Kerry Titheridge , who fired Kyle immediately.

Below Deck Adventure

1 andrew sturby, 'below deck' season 2.

Andrew Sturby set a president on Below Deck : don't lie on your resume! Not everyone heeded that advice, but Andrew was the first example of how dangerous being a deckhand can be if you don't know what you're doing. Andrew was a bit of a goofy guy. He wasn't always the most professional, but he seemed like a fun person to be around. That's all well and good, but when you're not performing up the standard of the boat, your integrity as an employee will be called into question.

For Andrew, his poor performance caused Captain Rosbach to have to take a peek at his resume. What was discovered was that his resume had been largely embellished. Captain Lee is a professional but also wants to help individuals learn and grow. He gave Andrew a second chance to redeem himself. He just failed, putting the boat at risk. And thus, he was given the infamous plane ticket home. It's one thing to come in green and learn, but for Andrew, it would essentially be having to learn it all in the big leagues. It became a liability. This was not the place to learn everything.

Below Deck's Daisy Kelliher shares tough reality of show she 'hates to admit'

EXCLUSIVE: Daisy Kelliher is one of the break-out stars of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and has offered some behind-the-scenes insights into the show.

  • 14:07, 3 Sep 2024

Below Deck Sailing Yacht sensation Daisy Kelliher has captured audiences with her effervescent charm and deft leadership skills. As Chief Stew in the series' second and third seasons, Daisy follows in the wake of her seafaring lineage; her grandfather was an Olympic sailor who represented Ireland in the 1964 Olympics.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror and other Reach titles ahead of her appearance at the Southampton International Boat Show this September, the celebrated yachting star divulged some candid insights about life aboard Below Deck as she gears up to lead a cocktail-making masterclass on September 14.

The Netflix star alerted fans that she might pop the illusion with some insider revelations from the acclaimed maritime series. Reflecting on whether the friendships formed on the show endured, she confessed: "Honestly? No."

The TV favourite then detailed why keeping in touch with her Below Deck crewmates proved complicated, given the time elapsed since filming and the long distances between them.

She explained: "Nothing bad but, you know, reality TV is a really interesting thing."

She commented on the intensity of connections fostered in such exceptional circumstances, saying: "I think when you're in a situation like that, you do create these really intense bonds and it's this super unique experience where only you understand what you've been through.

"But I hate to tell people this," she confessed, "Because I think it breaks, you know, it bursts their little heart, but I'm like... The reality is, we live all across the world , and so to upkeep those friendships is very difficult.

"And when you break it down even further, you know, we really only did work together for six weeks," she pointed out.

"And even though during that time it was so intense, I think maybe if we lived in the same place, it would be different."

Still, she added affectionately: "But I love everyone, and I have a special place in my heart for all of them... But really, we live all across the world.

"It really confuses the viewer, though, because it looks and is really intense, but yeah - then we don't see each other for two or three years!"

While Daisy remained tight-lipped on her involvement in season 4 during the chat, she did tease that fans can catch up with her soon.

Daisy was speaking ahead of the Southampton International Boat Show, the biggest boating festival in Britain, which takes place between September 13 and 22. The star will be putting on an exclusive cocktail masterclass for showgoers between 3pm and 5pm, which you can buy tickets for here .

Catch up with season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Netflix , or purchase seasons 1-3 on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

Below Deck Mediterranean Recap: Ellie’s Ego

Below deck mediterranean.

below deck sailing yacht season 2 guests erica

Watching Below Deck Mediterranean on Labor Day feels both right and wrong. Right: We’re celebrating the crew’s labor. Wrong: We’re feasting on the drama of workers not getting along with each other when they’d be better off allying together against their employers to win better working conditions. I’m looking specifically at you, Ellie. The second stew is taking the hiring of a new stew as a personal offense. This week, I’ve seen a lot of discussion about what makes someone not a girls’ girl — TikTok’s Halley vs. Sophia scandal, The Bachelorette ’s Kaitlyn Bristowe’s comments (allegedly) about dating Tayshia Adams’s ex — and I shudder to think which side of these feuds Ellie would take. The girl could use a friend, but this late into the charter season, the alliances — er, best friendships — have firmed up: Aesha/Gael, Nathan/Joe, and Bri/Jono are all solid pairs, leaving Ellie and Iain confidante-less. It’d be perfect if new stew Carrie slotted in as a much-needed friend to Ellie, but of course that won’t be the case.

Carrie arrives just in time for a crew night out, toting that tie-dye tote bag that shouts, “I spent too much money at Alo.” Not only is the bag deep, but so is Carrie’s experience. She’s been in yachting for eight years and has even been a chief stew, which makes her knots more experienced than Ellie and Bri. Carrie knows mixology, loves laundry, and is happy to help out wherever she can as a floater. The Scottish stew makes a good first impression, but not on Ellie — she jokes that Ellie needs a pole to go with her stripper heels, and Ellie does not like that. I don’t appreciate her implied shaming of sex work when they are, in fact, clear, sky-high heels that she struggles to walk in.

As the crew heads to dinner, Joe tells Carrie, “All you gotta know is that Nathan’s in a relationship.” If we were in court, I’d say he’s withholding evidence. Joe flirts with Carrie right away, much to Ellie and Bri’s chagrin. Carrie flirts a little back, teaching him some Scottish dancing, but she keeps things tame compared to her predecessors. Carrie’s more focused on striking up a friendship with Aesha, who likes her immediately. Aesha feels for her because she joined mid-charter herself in season five . The two bond over not-sexy dancing, something Ellie definitely does.

Ellie may be bitter, but Nathan is having a truly terrible night. Earlier, he got a text with the news that his friend passed away from cancer, and he doesn’t tell anyone, quietly drinking his sorrows. Gael can tell he’s not okay, but in the car back to the boat, he turns mean, which prompts Aesha to climb into the back seat between Nathan and Gael. Now that is what a girls’ girl does. Gael asks again what’s wrong, and he finally tells her about his friend, crying. Gael encourages him not to be afraid to show his sensitive side. Nathan tells us his family doesn’t talk about tough stuff, and he doesn’t want to repeat their patterns. Back on the boat, Aesha tells Joe what happened and that he needs to support Nathan. Joe’s late-night pep talk isn’t the best, but it’s nice to see that their friendship can have depth to it. Early in the morning, Gael joins Nathan on his top bunk. It’s unclear if they’re doing more than cuddling, but based on how annoyed Joe looks in the bottom bunk and how he behaves later, I don’t think he’s that cool with it. As lead deckhand on a mini power trip, he calls out Gael’s squeegeeing and watches her clean like a hawk. The man doesn’t know how else to express that he’s jealous of Nathan’s thinking of joining Gael’s trip around the Greek islands after the season. Being there for someone through a loss is a big step in a relationship, but I don’t know yet if the couple can get serious without Aesha’s prodding.

Like Joe, Ellie is clinging to the hierarchy. She asks Aesha if she can learn more about being a chief stew during the last few charters because she hopes to be one on a small boat after the season. Aesha kindly shuts this down by advising Ellie to just keep getting experience. Instead of getting to shadow Aesha or learn about placing provisioning orders, Ellie is stuck showing Carrie around the boat. Aesha was totally fair here; a new member’s first day is definitely not the time to be asking for vague lessons. Ellie turns her ambitions toward an influencer career path, as the producers throw in a clip of her watching a video about branded partnerships on her break. I have to laugh at this, which is basically the same as someone on a dating show saying, “You’re not here for the right reasons.”

Can you believe there are still laundry problems? Me neither. I wish I didn’t have to write about this for the thousandth time. Alas, my job is to recap, and like Carrie, I want to uphold my reputation as a hard worker. Joe is down to one smelly polo, covering for Bri, who lost his second one. Perhaps now that he has a new romantic interest he wants to smell good for, he asks Aesha if she can track down his polo. She finds it in Iain’s room and is surprised the other crew members have been covering up for Bri. Aesha tries to stay positive when talking to Bri because she wants to finish the season with four stews and knows Bri is trying. Sandy feels similarly, priding herself on not firing entry level stews. We get a montage of past stews not knowing how to do the job. You may think you’re long past that reality TV stint years ago, and then Bravo will throw you into a montage, cruelly reminding us of when the show felt fresher. Bri suggests changing to a color-coded beads system because reading names on tags isn’t working for her. I doubt adding an additional step to keep track of will help, but I respect Bri for asking for advice in a yachtie group. She really is trying, bless her heart.

The new primaries are Murphy and Beth from Dayton, Ohio, along with three other married couples who are all celebrating their 15th anniversaries. There’s a possible shellfish allergy, and Sandy says there’s no room for error for Jono after his near-firing last charter. Except, with no replacement chef available, there’s more like a whole hotel of rooms for error. For their first lunch, Aesha holds off on service because the wind knocks over a glass, radioing the stews to stand by, but Ellie thinks they’re supposed to start running plates. Carrie follows her lead, and this puts Jono’s timing at risk. He’s worried he’ll be blamed if the food is cold, but thankfully, the guests are happy with the food.

A less happy meal occurs in the crew mess, where Gael and Nathan are eating. Joe asks if Gael can go back in the water, but she says Iain told her to change, and she doesn’t have any more “dry wets.” (I love the oxymoron of this uniform phrase). Joe will have to go in instead. He calls her a princess, and she calls him a prick in return. It’s teasing but with a real animosity underneath, and Nathan is stuck uncomfortably in the middle. I support Gael’s theory that the closer she gets to Nathan, the bitchier Joe gets with her. I almost want him to get with Carrie so he gets off our girl Gael’s back, but I still wouldn’t wish that upon Carrie.

Speaking of the new stew, the more Ellie sees how capable Carrie is, the more upset Ellie seems to get about her situation. Bri and Aesha are thrilled to have more help, but Ellie is operating from a place of fear. Aesha and Carrie hitting it off makes her feel like a third wheel, and she fears she’s about to be demoted. If there were a difference in pay, I could understand, but I’m pretty sure the second and third stews are paid the same here, making this an issue of pure ego. Ellie brings her concerns to Aesha, who says she’s not demoting Ellie but also doesn’t say she wouldn’t in the future. A hierarchy shake-up would be a delicious comeuppance after she tried to pull rank on Bri so aggressively. Aesha implies to us that Ellie’s not cut out to be a chief stew because she doesn’t understand that the guest experience is the most important thing. Hope those branded partnerships come through for her.
