If you are planning a day out or a weekend away in the waters off the Gold Coast, here are some tips to make your escape more enjoyable. 

•  Time of Year – Firstly, know which time of the year you want to book a luxury boat charter on the Gold Coast. Weather plays a big part in the type of experience you are seeking. For instance, during peak summer, it’s often hot and humid, and rain can be frequent and heavy. During the winter, it is drier; however, the evenings can be cold. Fortunately, you don’t have to let the rain bother you too much. Our yacht has many indoor spaces for you to enjoy and the Back Deck and Saloon are completely weather-proof.
• Food and Drinks – With our commercial-size kitchen,  you can hire a caterer and enjoy professionally-prepared dishes. Or, you can throw some snags on the BBQ and chat as you share a casual lunch togethr.  We have all the platters, plates and cutlery you could possibly require so there is no need to bring any plastic plates or utensils onboard during your luxury boat hire. 
• Time of Day – Do you enjoy the sunset and the stars or want a warm day for swimming and sun-bathing on the bow of the MV Bacchus? You may choose to enjoy the sunset with bubbly and light snacks to watch the lights of Surfers Paradise and sneak a peek inside the waterfront mansions as you cruise the Broadwater under the stars.  The MV Bacchus is well-lit for socialising under the stars with twinkling bistro lights on the Sky Lounge at the bow.   
• Swimming or Socialising? You need to discuss any swimming options with our Booking Agent beforehand as the Broadwater can have dangerous tides and currents and not all cruise times are suitable for swimming.  The size of the MV Bacchus makes it difficult to anchor too close to land so swimmers must be proficient.   The MV Bacchus has a swim mat onboard and range of floatation toys for guests to enjoy.  There is also a new 16-foot water trampoline available.  Ask our booking agent Janine about it.

• Weather Cancellations : Tours may be canceled depending on weather and dangerous tides.
• Child Ticket : Valid for ages 3-13. Children under 3 can travel free but must be advised at the time of booking.
• Accessibility : No step-free access is available on the boat.
• What to Bring : Please bring a camera, sunscreen, hat, binoculars, warm clothes, sensible shoes, and seasickness remedies if needed.
• Food and Drink : No outside food or drink is allowed on the boat.
• Health Precautions : If you feel unwell prior to the cruise, please take appropriate precautions to ensure the wellbeing of other passengers and staff.

Boat Charters Gold Coast 13.5m Yolo Party Boat Cruise

The Yolo, a brand new 13.5m by 6.5m  powered catamaran, is a fun-filled vessel where luxury meets excitement. It can take 36 guests and 3 crew.  Built for enjoying in the great outdoors in comfort and style. Powered by solar and twin 200hp outboard engines.

Perfect for any occasion: Bucks, Hens, Birthdays, Xmas, Life Celebrations, Family Get-Togethers, Wedding, Engagement, Corporate Team-building or Staff Events.  It is easy to keep your eyes on everyone and yet there are lots of space to enjoy.  It can operate in any weather, day or night.

Yolo has a hydraulic swimming platform which can drop 1m; so it’s the perfect way to enjoy the water.  Floating mats will be supplied too.

5 swim-up bar seats are attached to the hydraulic platform

Yolo also has a huge 8-person heated spa, front boarding stairs, launchpads and large beanbags at the upper deck of the boat

There are 3 of such double beanbags around the spa

There is a well-facilitated galley with fridge, bar and BBQ facilities

It’s stable and roomy with a huge dance floor. Movable seats and table can be added.  There are 4 large eskies for your drinks.

There is state-of-the-art sound system with Bluetooth and connection for the DJ.  There are twin bathrooms (one with a freshwater shower).

DJ hire is extra $150 per hour.

Beach access never looks more beautiful. There is even a shower in the bathroom for your use after the swim.

Why not hire Yolo for a spectacular sunset experience before partying the night away.

Capacity:  Can carry up to 36 guests.

Food, Drinks & Ice: Drinks can be purchased from fully licensed bar. BYO food only.

Food catering by us is available at extra cost.  See below for menu and prices.  Otherwise, you can BYO or contact external caterers.

  Pickup Locations:   Surfers Paradise – either Appel Park jetty or HOTA jetty.

  Boat Hire Prices: (minimum 3 hrs) 

Weekdays (Sun to Fri): $500 per hour

Saturday: $600 per hour

Public holiday: $750 per hour

Preferred Timings : 10am to 2pm, 11am to 3pm, 12-4pm, 5-8pm or 5-9pm

Extra : $100 extra if you like us to fill the spa in our top deck.  It can be fully heated to 40 degrees for those cold days or left cool for those sunny days.  It has bubbles and underwater lights.  It’s a truly unique experience floating in a spa while floating on a boat.  The spa is filled with fresh water and refilled after each charter.
