Split Party Cruises: Best Boat Parties in Dalmatia

Party Cruises in Croatia

Split party cruise is the perfect combination of relaxation and exploration. Some of the best parties in Croatia are boat parties, where you can meet young travelers from every corner of the globe. Think of it as a combination of sailing and music festival.

Busabout Gullet Ship

Each day you’ll have a relaxing schedule. You’ll sail early in the morning, and stop for a swim on the way to new destination. Sometimes you’ll just jump off the boat into the middle of the Adriatic, while sometimes your captain will take you for a swim at one of many stunning beaches.

All you need is a couple of shirts and shorts, light sweater, same towels and few swimsuits, and an adventurous spirit. The best part of these party cruises is just sitting on the deck, catching rays, reading, and just enjoying life. And in the evenings you’ll join partying crowds with plenty of drinks and great music.

On these cruises for young (from 18 to 35 years old) you can experience different music festivals and party destinations.

Don’t expect to be on Caribbean luxurious cruising liners, but on simple, small and clean wooden gullets . The capacity of these small ships is for 12 to 28 people. The cabins are basic and small and not sound-proof, reachable by narrow steep stairs. Some ships have private bathrooms for each cabin, while others are shared.

The shared bathroom boats are cheaper and are preferred by a younger (mostly early to mid twenties), more inclined to partying. The ensuite boats, have “older” passengers (mostly mid-twenties to mid-thirties) and less inclined to vivacious party nights.

Private Boat Party Cruise

Split boat party

Since recently you can rent a large private party boat in Split. “Sveti Damjan” party boat can accommodate up to 104 guests. It’s equipped with a bar and dance floor. Fuel, insurance and skipper are all included.

Price is a bit steep if you’re only bringing a few friends, but very affordable for large groups. Organized party cruises I mentioned above are cheaper but will probably include other travelers on the boat. This private party cruise is more expensive but you can have the boat all for yourself, and organize sightseeing trips as you like.

This Split party cruise is only available on request. You can find more information and request a quote and availability here !

Alternatively you can check TourRadar’s cruise offers and find one to your liking (check their Young Adults category here ). You can request a quote for private sailing on each cruise. Many skippers will be happy to accommodate all kinds of travelers and plans.

Split party cruises are plentiful as you can see. If you’re looking for a boat party with friends you can easily book some of the multi-day or one-day cruises I mentioned.

Nightlife in Split can only offer so much, and I’m certain you will not regret some of the other popular party destinations in the Adriatic such as Hvar or Dubrovnik . Many can be visited even on a one-day trip, and they will easily fill your Instagram profile with tons of beautiful sights.

Even if you’re traveling alone, boat parties are an excellent way to meet new friends from all around the world and ensure your trip to Split is full of amazing memories.

Our day with Out to Sea Split, Croatia’s biggest boat party

Boat Party in Split Croatia is among young adults’ most popular day trips. Although we aren’t into partying hard, we wanted to experience what it would be like to attend Croatia’s biggest boat party – Out to Sea Split.

During our most recent visit to Split, we joined the Out to Sea Split Boat Party to share the first-hand experience with our readers.

Table of Contents

Choosing the Split Boat Party

Although there are few companies in Split organizing boat parties, we chose the Out to Sea Split Boat Party because it is known for its vibrant atmosphere and high-energy music. After researching online and reading reviews, we felt this would be the perfect choice for our day excursion.

Split Croatia Boat Party, Illustration

The Out to Sea Split Boat Party was founded in 2022 but has quickly become one of the most popular day activities in Split and on the entire Dalmatian Coast.

They provide a boat party and a swim stop in the famous Blue Lagoon, a pre-party at check-in, and free entry into one of Split’s most popular nightclubs , so we had to give it a go ourselves.

Split Croatia Boat Party, Our Experience

Our day began with check-in at Jimmy Bar, a small local cafe on Split’s waterfront. We and many other partygoers came to collect our wristbands. The hosts greeted us and explained how our day on the boat would look. Drinks were flowing, especially ciders, and this was a great time to meet everyone before boarding the boat.

Waiting for boarding, boat party split croatia

Upon boarding, each guest gets a free shot to swiftly take before either heading upstairs to the dancefloor/sundeck or choosing some comfortable booth seating downstairs. After a quick welcome announcement, a local DJ starts playing diverse tunes from tech house to club bangers to singalongs.

The boat easily fits over 200 people, and the dancing started when we left Split’s port. The range of 1L cocktail buckets was a crowd favorite, and staff ensured the ice didn’t even have a chance to melt as the beer funnels were brought out and drink-downing competitions began. One important, ideal point was that they accepted card payment on board, which most boats don’t offer.

After two hours of following the coastlines of a few islands, we reached the famous Blue Lagoon, just off Veliki Drvenik, for our swim stop. The swim stop helped everyone cool off, as it was a scorching day on the Adriatic.

Quieter corner at the bow of the boat, split boat party

At the front of the boat, there is a platform for those who aren’t bothered by heights, and on the lower deck, there is a ladder for entry and exit of the boat. Inflatables are set up and attached to create a floating platform for guests to swim and relax in the sun.

After a swim, it was the perfect time to tuck into some snacks; hot toasties, chips, and other finger foods were needed to fill everyone’s bellies before starting the party again.

A slow return to Split was capped off with a fantastic sunset, perfect for those trying to capture the perfect Instagram moment. The last hour was when the party started to turn up.

Atmosphere on the Out to Sea Split boat party

Everyone joining together on the dancefloor and singing songs from the likes of ABBA capped off what was an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience with Out to Sea. Their bartenders were friendly and always willing to give out shots any chance they could, and it set the tone for an amazing evening.

The boat arrived where it began, at Split’s port around 8 pm, and staff informed us that our wristbands also got us free entry into Bacvice Beach Club.

Or better yet, if we didn’t want the party to stop there, we were offered a discount to join the night parties they host with Split After Dark . Split After Dark is a mixture of a bar crawl but with a crazy neon nighttime boat party as one of the stops, including free entry into the nightclub.

Swim stop in the Blue Lagoon during Split Boat party day trip

All in all, it was a very worthwhile experience. Even if you aren’t into partying but don’t mind some music, this tour is much more affordable than the usual Blue Lagoon tour.

And, with the added value of the free welcome shots, free VIP nightclub entrance, free photography, and the atmosphere that Out to Sea Split creates, we recommend this as a must-do while visiting Split, Croatia.

If you want to join either of these experiences, we have a discount code: FRANKABOUTCROATIA, which gives everyone 10% off.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5’s trailer has finally arrived, and with Captain Glenn Shephard’s crew including First Officer Gary King, fans are disappointed in the show’s return . While Below Deck viewers have been impatiently awaiting news about Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 for over a year, the trailer has finally been released, and has many concerned about what the season is going to look like. While the trailer reveals the return of some familiar faces, the storylines that appear to be part of the season left viewers feeling uneasy. After Gary’s sexual misconduct allegations, his involvement seems overwhelming.

In the Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 trailer, the crew’s chartering guests around Ibiza in a new sailing adventure. With Gary showing up early in the trailer after Daisy Kelliher makes her grand entrance, things get dicey quickly. “That’s right, we have a f****** job and I’m not carrying this f****** season on my own you f****** prick,” Daisy shouts at Gary in one moment of the trailer as he lays in his bed, looking dismayed. The rest of the trailer shows the genuine chaos of the season, featuring Gary heavily much to the surprise of Below Deck viewers .

What Gary’s Involvement In Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Means

He’s part of the show more than ever.

Throughout the Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 trailer, it was clear that Gary will be a focal point of the exterior team’s story. Being shown on the deck with some of the exterior team, pushing Deckhands to their limits and critiquing their work, Gary’s presence on the sailing yacht may be odd during Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 . While he appears to be getting along with Daisy , he may not even have her in his corner by the end of the charter season. His heavy involvement in the trailer may not indicate the same throughout the whole season.

20 Best Reality TV Shows Right Now

Reality TV is more popular than ever. With so many to choose from, here are some of the best reality TV shows to stream or watch right now.

Although Gary has been a part of Below Deck Sailing Yacht since the early days of the series, seeing him as a member of the crew after his sexual misconduct allegations came to light is tough. While Bravo filmed Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 before the allegations were revealed, they came to light during the filming of the season and it appears that the network didn’t choose to remove Gary from later episodes or take action at all. Though it remains to be seen if production did anything about Gary , it’s disappointing to some to see him on screen.

Our Take On The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 5 Trailer

It could be chaotic fun, but gary leaves a stain on the show.

Although the trailer for Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 makes it seem like one of the most exciting, dramatic seasons of the series we’ve ever seen, the mess may not be worth it if Gary’s involved. By ignoring the sexual misconduct allegations lodged against Gary and leaving him on the series, seemingly without explanation, Bravo is allowing it to seem like what he may have done is okay. Though nothing has been proven, taking no action on Below Deck Sailing Yacht could be a misstep that may taint the entire season of the sailing spin-off for once excited viewers.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht premieres Monday, October 7 at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo.

Tales from the Tailgate: 'Tailgate Princess' Keeps the Party Going

Austin jacobsen | 3 hours ago.

Kelli Anne's tailgate spread has become legendary amongst her friends and family that regularly attend.

  • Nebraska Cornhuskers

This article is part of a season-long series by Austin Jacobsen, sharing his experiences on game days in Lincoln and Nebraska football.

Kelli Anne is not a fan of her nickname.

"I am not the tailgate queen," she says, hours prior to kickoff of Saturday's Nebraska football matchup against FCS foe Northern Iowa. "I am the tailgate princess. "

She says it is because being a queen is "too presumptuous." Unfortunately for Kelli, she is the reason everyone gathers around her three-car spot near Cook Pavillion on any given Saturday that Nebraska football welcomes a visitor. If you are lucky enough to be included in the party, you're in for treatment fit for royalty.

Kelli Anne (middle) chats with two of her closer friends at her traditional tailgate.

Much like the Huskers, Kelli is a gracious host. During our nearly half-hour long chat, we are repeatedly stopped by guests crossing in looking for food, drinks, koozies, or even just a hug or kiss on the cheek from the leader of the tailgate. Every inquiry is met with a " Whaddya' need babe? " from Kelli, and every person that enters under the shade of the canopies leaves with their hands full.

"There are some tailgates that are better," Kelli Anne said. "But they get paid. This is a passion - and a hobby (for me)."

There isn't a gathering in Lincoln more heliocentric around one person than the mass of bodies surrounding Lot 10 near the Outdoor Adventure Center on UNL's campus. Each person that approaches Kelli receives at least a hug - if not a kiss on the cheek - and a "love you." The affection makes sense, considering that her tailgates have never centered around food, booze, or even football.

Kelli Anne's tailgates feature plenty of famous guests - at least, famous to the host.

Kelli Anne began her tailgate tradition in 2010, as Nebraska Football appeared on the cusp of regaining their national prominence. Back then, she was a part of a tailgate group featured near Lot 13. Since 2013, that group has since spread out and apart, leaving Kelli as the main protagonist in her journey to provide entertainment during Nebraska's rockiest decade. Her spot had recently moved to Lot 10 following the construction of the new music building on campus.

The tailgate expert calls the past decade-plus of Nebraska football the "lean years", and during this time, felt it her calling to ensure that some semblance of a party. While the cheers grew weaker inside the stadium, Kelli Anne's crowds became more prominent .

"As long as you have good people, you just need an excuse to get together," Kelli said. "These are all our people."

Kelli Anne's tailgates feature all the primary functions needed for a tailgate: food, drinks, and friends.

The host describes the vast crowd gathered outside her vehicle as "friends of a friend" when asked if she knows everyone at the party. She adds that each "friend" at the tailgate has "seven degrees of separation", and implies that everyone in attendance has at least been invited before arriving.

My hesitation must have shown in her ability to know nearly everyone huddled on the pavement to the east of Memorial Stadium, but she turns my doubt into disbelief pointing to each person and providing a story from a tailgate past. Out by the fence is a group of men from Chadron who make the nearly seven-hour road trip once a year. Her college roommate is in attendance, as is several of her friends that routinely arrive at her College World Series parties.

Even for the newest member of the tailgate - me, the invited guest by Kelli herself - I know of several people that are regulars to the party. A handful of old college friends attend weekly, while individuals from my hometown and previous work are present and participating. Seven degrees of separation indeed.

Every tailgate by Kelli Anne is masterfully crafted from the presentation to the decoration

There are traditions that come with the tailgate. Most of them come from the wild themes, set-up, and placement of each assembly for game day. Kelli has it down to a science; from assorting the "runway for food" to creating places to congregate, she has it formulated to the exact inch. There are a few bar top tables for people to stand by, activities to keep people moving, and of course easy access to drinks and food.

The food is incredible - this evening's menu was a "Fiesta Taco Party" with hand-crafted dishes made by Kelli Anne herself. Although night games create more food with more hungry visitors, she's undaunted by the task.

"I get here two hours before people can come eat," she said. "I'm not going to make someone else do something that I can do."

She adds that every tailgate has to have that "food base, especially night games." This tradition even continued during the shortened COVID-19 season in 2020, in which Kelli hosted tailgates in her driveway in Omaha. No matter rain, wind, or shine, she will be ready to provide for whoever stops by.

Kelli Anne's tailgate has been featured several times as a "Tailgater of the Game."

The most incredible aspect of the tailgate is the little-interest in the football game about to begin. Kelli has captured her dream of bringing in friends from near-and-far to share a few hours of a weekend together. While music, cheers, and laughter fill the air around us, the host ponders back on her favorite memories. After a few moments, she says she can't put her mind to just one.

"There have been a few disappointments," Kelli said. "Weather usually ruins it. Some of the best - one of the night games in 2017 or '18, traffic was insane. We opened up a cooler, and danced in the parking lot."

Despite her expertise at tailgating, Kelli states that she's never had a "celebrity" stop by - even at her highly acclaimed College World Series tailgates. While Damon Benning, De'Mornay Pierson-El, and even a traveling group of celebrity tailgaters have graced their appearance, the two-time tailgate of the game winner is not fazed by their star power.

"Just because you are famous does not make you a better person at my tailgate. I love when my favorites stop by - they are famous to me," Kelli said.

Kelli Anne is the life of every party she hosts, and she makes sure to showcase her Husker pride at each tailgate.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, Kelli Anne will always be ready for the next Husker football contest. As it became apparent throughout our conversation, her role on game days is not to provide the necessary means for the fans attending the contest to enjoy themselves. Kelli Anne's importance to the 'Sea of Red's' tradition is to keep the party going - win or lose.

In her own words, who wouldn't love getting people together?

Kelli Anne (Right) and Sidney, a former Nebraska Athletics dancer - one of the many featured guests of her tailgate.

Luxury yachts and other myths: How Republican lawmakers echo Russian propaganda

A woman examines the rubble of a destroyed building

Two senior Republican lawmakers, the chairs of the House Intelligence and Foreign Affairs committees, say their colleagues are echoing Russian state propaganda against Ukraine.

Researchers who study disinformation say Reps. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, and Michael McCaul, R-Texas, are merely acknowledging what has been clear for some time: Russian propaganda aimed at undermining U.S. and European support for Ukraine has steadily seeped into America’s political conversation over the past decade, taking on a life of its own.

McCaul, chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Puck News he thinks “Russian propaganda has made its way into the United States, unfortunately, and it’s infected a good chunk of my party’s base.”

Turner, chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, told CNN that anti-Ukraine messages from Russia are “being uttered on the House floor.”

Reps. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, and Mike Turner, R-Ohio, leave a House Republican Conference candidate forum

For the past decade, since Russia’s first military incursion into Ukraine in 2014, Moscow has spread propaganda and disinformation in a bid to undercut U.S. and European military support for Ukraine, according to U.S. and Western officials.

Some of the arguments, distortions and falsehoods spread by Russia have taken root, mostly among right-wing pro-Trump outlets and Republican politicians, researchers say, including that Ukraine’s government is too corrupt to benefit from Western aid and that the Biden family has alleged corrupt ties to Ukraine.

Russia, in keeping with traditional propaganda techniques, seeks to make its case and tarnish Ukraine through a mixture of outright falsehoods, half-truths, inferences or simply amplifying and promoting arguments already being made by American or European commentators and politicians, researchers say.

The propaganda is sometimes spread covertly, through fake online accounts, or openly by Russian officials and state media. As a result, the origin of some allegations or criticisms is often opaque, especially when a certain accusation or perception has gained wide acceptance, leaving no clear fingerprints.

Early in the war, a false story boosted by Russian propaganda — that the U.S. had helped Ukraine build biological weapons labs — gained traction on right-wing social media and was touted by then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

Russia also is conducting a parallel propaganda campaign in Europe. Belgium’s prime minister said Thursday that his government is investigating alleged Russian bribes to members of the European Parliament as part of Moscow’s campaign to undermine support for Ukraine. Czech law enforcement officials last month alleged that a former pro-Russian member of Ukraine’s parliament, Viktor Medvedchuk, was behind a Prague-based Russian propaganda network designed to promote opposition to aiding Ukraine.

Here are some examples of Republican lawmakers using arguments often promoted by Russian propaganda:

Buying yachts

When Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with members of Congress behind closed doors in December to appeal for more U.S. help for his country’s troops, some lawmakers raised questions about Ukraine allegedly buying yachts with American aid money.

Zelenskyy made clear that was not the case, according to Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, a strong supporter of arming Ukraine. “I think the notion of corruption came up because some have said we can’t do it, because people will buy yachts with the money,” Tillis told CNN. “[Zelenskyy] disabused people of those notions.”

Where did the yacht rumor come from?

Pro-Russian actors and websites promoted a narrative alleging Zelenskyy bought two superyachts with U.S. aid dollars. One Russia-based propaganda site, DC Weekly , published a story last November that included photos of two luxury yachts, called Lucky Me and My Legacy , which it alleged were bought for $75 million.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., a vocal opponent of military aid to Ukraine, in November retweeted a post about the alleged yacht purchase from the Strategic Culture Foundation, a Russian-based propaganda outlet directed by Russia’s intelligence services, according to the Treasury Department. The U.S. has imposed sanctions on the organization, accusing it of spreading disinformation and interfering in U.S. elections.

Another outspoken critic of aid to Ukraine, Republican Sen. J.D. Vance of Ohio, also made a similar claim.

In a December interview with former President Donald Trump’s White House adviser Steve Bannon, Vance claimed that members of Congress wanted to cut Social Security benefits to provide more aid to Ukraine, and that money would allegedly be used for Zelenskyy’s ministers to “buy a bigger yacht.”

“There are people who would cut Social Security, throw our grandparents into poverty. Why? So that one of Zelenskyy’s ministers can buy a bigger yacht?” Vance said. “Kiss my ass, Steve. It’s not happening.”

Donald Trump looks as J.D. Vance speaks.

The tale of Zelenskyy’s luxury yacht, however, turned out to be totally false . The yachts cited in the DC Weekly article remain up for sale , the owners told The Associated Press.

Two academics at Clemson University, disinformation researchers Darren Linvill and Patrick Warren, found that DC Weekly ran numerous stories copied from other sites that were rewritten by artificial intelligence engines. The articles had bylines with fake names along with headshots copied from other online sites. DC Weekly appeared to be a Russian effort to launder false information through a seemingly legitimate news site as part of an attempt to undermine U.S. support for Ukraine, according to the researchers .

Asked by reporters about Vance’s comments, Tillis said: “I think it’s bullshit. ...If you’re talking about giving money to Ukrainian ministers — total and unmitigated bullshit.”

Greene’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

Vance’s spokesperson said the senator was making a rhetorical point about how he opposed sending U.S. assistance to what he sees as a corrupt country, but was not asserting the yacht stories online were accurate.

Vance’s office referred NBC News to an earlier response to the BBC on the same topic:

“For years, everyone in the West recognized that Ukraine was one of the most corrupt countries in the world. Somehow everyone forgot that just as we started sending them billions of dollars in foreign aid.”

Enabling ‘corruption’

Russian state media for years has painted Ukraine as deeply corrupt, and has argued that the U.S. and its allies are wasting money and military hardware by assisting such an allegedly corrupt government.

“This is absolutely a line that they have pushed, and then once it appears in the Western ecosystem, other [Russian] media picks it up and it gets recycled back,” said Bret Schafer, a senior fellow at the Alliance for Securing Democracy.

This line of argument has gained traction partly because Ukraine does face a genuine corruption problem.

Russia’s effort to focus attention on corruption in Ukraine reflects a long-established propaganda method of using facts or partial truths to anchor a broader assertion or accusation, sometimes making a leap in logic, Schafer and other researchers said. Russia’s message amounts to: Ukraine is corrupt, therefore U.S. and Western aid will be stolen and wasted.

Schafer said it was ironic for Russia, a country mired in corruption and kleptocracy, to be leveling accusations about corruption.

Republican Rep. Mary Miller has said she strongly opposes more assistance for Ukraine because it amounts to sending cash to “corrupt oligarchs.”

“With Zelensky coming to DC this week to ask for more money, I will continue to vote AGAINST sending your tax $$ to corrupt oligarchs in Ukraine for a proxy war that could have ended in ‘22,” Miller wrote in a post on X in December.

The Illinois lawmaker also echoed another assertion that often appears in Russian media, that the Biden administration allegedly undermined efforts by Russia to avoid war with Ukraine.

“A peace deal was on the table that [Ukraine] and [Russia] were both ready to sign, but Biden said NO,” she wrote.

There was in fact no proposed peace agreement that Russia and Ukraine were prepared to sign before Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, according to U.S. and European officials. As Russian troops massed on the border of Ukraine, Western governments urged Russia not to invade and warned there would be economic and diplomatic consequences.

Reuters has reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin rejected a possible deal to avert a war that had been discussed with Kyiv by Russia’s envoy to Ukraine. The Kremlin said the report was inaccurate and has said Russia tried for years to arrive at an understanding with Ukraine.

As for corruption in Ukraine, Zelenskyy has vowed to tackle the problem, sacking senior officials in some recent cases. But some civil society groups have criticized his approach and Ukrainians say corruption is the country’s second-most serious problem, after the Russian invasion, according to a poll conducted last year.

In an annual survey, Transparency International said Ukraine made progress toward addressing the issue and now ranks 104th out of 180 countries on its Corruption Perceptions Index , climbing 12 places up from its previous ranking.

Ukraine is not alone among countries that receive U.S. and other foreign aid but struggle with corruption. Supporters of assisting Ukraine argue it would undermine America’s influence in the world and its humanitarian efforts if Washington withheld foreign aid from every country where there were reports of corruption.

Miller’s office did not respond to a request for comment.

The Biden family and Ukraine

Republicans have repeatedly alleged that President Joe Biden and his son Hunter have corrupt ties to Ukraine, and that they sought $5 million in bribes from the Ukrainian energy company Burisma to protect the firm from an investigation by Ukraine’s prosecutor general.

There is no credible evidence for the allegations. A key source for the accusations against the Bidens is a former FBI informant, Alexander Smirnov, who was arrested in February on federal charges of fabricating the bribery claims. Smirnov says he was fed information by Russian intelligence.

Republicans had heavily promoted Smirnov’s allegations against the Bidens, seeing them as crucial to a planned impeachment effort against the president that has since fizzled .

“In my estimation, that is probably the clearest example of Russian propaganda working its way into the American political system,” said Emerson Brooking, a resident senior fellow at the Digital Forensic Research Lab of the Atlantic Council.

GOP Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona cited the false bribery allegations in expressing his opposition to providing assistance to Ukraine.

“In exchange for … bribe money from Ukraine, Joe Biden has dished out over $100 billion in taxpayer money to fund the war in Ukraine. I will not assist this corruption by sending more money to the authoritarian Ukrainian regime,” Gosar said in a statement in October.

Gosar’s office did not respond to a request for comment.
