The CDSOA, Inc. is a national non-profit organization of Cape Dory and Robinhood boat owners. We have members nationwide, from Washington State to Florida, and are always looking for new Cape Dory owners to join us. We offer a strong national alliance of Cape Dory boats and have a system in place to charter local area fleets.
Cape Dory Sailboat Owners Association
Cape Dory Yachts was founded in 1963 by Andrew Vavolotis in East Taunton, Mass. In the following 28 years, the company built over 2,800 sailboats ranging from 22 to 45 feet, and over 2,000 of the 19' Typhoon and the 22' Typhoon Senior, as well as the Cape Dory 10, which was the original Cape Dory dory. Most of the designs were by Carl Alberg.

How trailerable is a Cape Dory 25?
Of course, it depends on what you consider difficult to trailer. Consider that the Cape Dory 25 is a 4,000 lbs. boat with a 3' draft. Going to need a pretty substantial trailer to put it on, and if it is not already on a trailer then you may have to have one custom built (or at least heavily modified for it).
