Step aboard The Hazendal Yacht and experience Cape Town from this unique vantage point. The luxury vessel boasts extensive outdoor deck areas and a rooftop jacuzzi where guests can soak up the panoramic scenery surrounding them. Alternatively, guests can retire to the peace and comfort of the indoor lounge.

The yacht can accommodate up to eight people on overnight cruises and bigger parties on day trips. Three of the spacious cabins are configured with double, queen and bunk beds. The Master Cabin features a king-size bed and large windows for the gorgeous 180-degree Atlantic Ocean views. All four of the cabins have ensuite bathrooms with showers, whereas the Master Cabin, in contrast, boasts its own bathtub for added comfort and luxury.

While chartering the yacht, passengers have a choice of diverse Western Cape itineraries. These options include excursions to Langebaan and Saldanha Bay up the West Coast. Sea Princess is the largest of the passenger charter boats operating from the V&A Waterfront and ticks a lot of design boxes; she has sturdy big Catamaran lines with the emphasis more on function than form, ideal for those considering a waterfront charter boat for that special function. She has two separate deck levels with a section of the lower Saloon deck being enclosed for those who wish to stay out of the wind and sun, a large back deck at the entrance to the boat offers access with two large stairways to the top deck as well as protection from the sun with great viewing of the wake and receding views as she powers along the coast. The Back deck offers access to two swim platforms for launching the stand-up paddle boards or a swim on your Private Clifton Cruise. The Top deck is open to the elements offering a space to enjoy the sun and feel the breeze with a small alcove behind the Wheelhouse. When cruising slowly or at anchor we also allow access to the lower deck foredeck with some great spots for the special selfie with mountains and the sea in the background.

Sea Princess has something for everyone who wants a taste of the Yacht life and offers daily Scheduled Cruises in Season and Private charters for those who want a private hire experience. Sea Princess has an advantage over our smaller passenger charter boats in that she is the only Passenger Charter boat fitted with a unique hydro-foil system between the hulls that offers a lot more stability and less pitching and roll. With a licensed capacity of 140 passengers and 8 crew there is a lot a space for Private Parties , Company Year End and Corporate events , tour and incentive groups , product launches and themed events. We have a large range of “add on” options from a range of DJs, different Catering options , hiring of our Adventure Boats and Jet Skis for your Clifton Parties and even SUP Hire.

The popular duration for Private Charters is generally 2 hours with two options on offer; full boat capacity and a reduced passenger price for the smaller groups that compares favourably with the full boat prices of our smaller capacity vessels.

Fuel will be charged on consumption at the current rate. A deposit based on the estimated diesel consumption will be charged.

Day cruise catering will be charged based on pre-selected menu options.

Spirits, mixers, and imported beers and wines will be charged separately.

Full crew and stewardess services

Return cruise to the Victoria & Alfred Hotel in the V&A Waterfront precinct

Complimentary glass of Hazendal MCC or non-alcoholic alternative served on arrival

Note: Water sports are charged separately. Refer to additional rate and activity sheet.

Catering is available on request and is done exclusively by the Victoria & Alfred Hotel kitchen. Four menu options with pricing per person will be provided by the hotel.

No, cabins are exclusively available for overnight charters. Day guests may however make use of the outdoor deck showers, pool towels and the guest toilet.

Overnight charter rates, per night:

If travelling to a port outside the V&A Waterfront for an overnight stay, port fees and mooring costs are charged as extras.

Dinner and breakfast are included in the costs for the first night — thereafter only breakfast is included. Pre-catered meals may be provided on a set menu basis subject to dietary requirements at an additional cost.

Please board 15 minutes prior to departure and disembark no more than 15 minutes after the agreed disembarkation time.

Should you wish to remain aboard for a longer period, please arrange this in advance with Newmark. Pro-rata rates apply.

Children of all ages are welcome on the vessel, however if they are minors (under the age of

21) they are to be accompanied and supervised by the responsible adult.

The Hazendal Yacht Master and crew cannot supervise and be held responsible for children on board.

To ensure that you have the most pleasant and memorable charter possible, we recommend that you include the following items when packing:  

A variety of lightweight and warm clothing as the Cape’s weather can be unpredictable

A hooded jacket 

Flat / comfortable shoes

Swimming gear

Pool towels are available for use.

Neither Newmark or The Hazendal Yacht  can be held liable for any damage to or loss of personal goods.

Newmark and The Hazendal Yacht reserve the right to charge for pilferage or damage to the vessel and/or its equipment and instrumentation.

All passengers, once aboard the vessel, fall under the direct authority of the Master and Vessel Operators and undertake to comply with any requests and/or instructions issued to them by such persons. Failure to do so, at the Master’s discretion, the charter will be terminated and full costs incurred to the guest/client.

Passengers undertake, at all times, to respect the environment and will not intentionally pollute, damage or otherwise harm sea life and the surrounding environment.

Each and every passenger will be required to sign an indemnity form before being allowed on board the vessel.

Newmark, The Hazendal Yacht and the Operator will be free from liability for failing to provide a service due to industrial action, unsuitable weather conditions, technical problems or other events beyond the Operator’s reasonable control. 

Passengers bear the sole risk of injury to themselves or loss or damage to their property from whatsoever cause that arises, and acknowledge that they waive and abandon any claim or claims which they may have against the Owners, Management, Master or Crew of the vessel arising from any cause whatsoever including the negligent action or omission of the Owners, Management, Master or Crew of the vessel.

Any sexual advances or abusive treatment of the Master or Crew will result in the charter being terminated with the full cost of the booked charter levied.

All charters are subject to weather and may have to be altered on the day depending on the prevailing weather conditions.

For cancellation within seven to 30 days of arrival, 70 % of the booking cost, excluding the fuel deposit, will be levied.

For cancellations less than seven days prior to arrival, 100% of the booking cost, excluding the fuel deposit, will be levied.

In the event that a charter is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, every effort will be made to reschedule the charter for a date(s) convenient to both the client and The Hazendal Yacht . Alternatively, any deposit or advance payment made by the client will be refunded in full.

In the event that a client has taken up the booking, but the yacht is unable to proceed to sea due to adverse weather conditions, Newmark will make every effort to adjust the client’s itinerary to take account of the weather. If it is not feasible to do so, the client will be credited for the cost of the diesel and will continue to receive all other facilities and services on board the yacht at the marina or wherever the boat is berthed or moored as provided for in the quotation.

Cancellations will only be accepted in writing and they must be sent to Newmark at [email protected] . Please ensure that you get a response acknowledging your cancellation.

In the event of an early departure, the full extent of the stay as originally booked and confirmed will be charged.

Refunds of monies paid for bookings are at the discretion of Management.

We recommend that you take out insurance against cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances.

Please note that all charters are subject to weather and may have to be altered on the day depending on the prevailing weather conditions. A decision will be made by the Captain or the crew.
