Ring in the New Year on a BB Riverboats NYE Cruise!
Holidays on the Ohio River are a unique opportunity to ride on one of Cincinnati’s prized historical features, BB Riverboats. With special boat rides tailored to family experiences, kids and adults alike love cruises on the stern-wheel steamboats.

Ben Bernstein and Betty Blake gave BB Riverboats its name in 1979 when the success of their riverboat dining made the Port of Cincinnati the place to be. In its current location on Riverboat Row in Newport, families are welcomed on board the Belle of Cincinnati for two hour trips up and down the Ohio River.
In December, BB Riverboats hosts family holiday cruises with a grand buffet, local DJ, and all of the holiday adornments. With photo-ops galore, kids love exploring the riverboat’s bow, stern, and multi-level decks while viewing homes lit with holiday lights from Mt. Adams to Covington. Dress warm- the best spot for viewing is in the open air of the top deck!
For a party like no other, join BB Riverboats on December 31 for a 12p countdown, pirates, princesses, & superheroes, a DJ, party favors, and lunch buffet. Join your kids in excitement as BB Riverboats welcome in the New Year.

About this Cruise
Come aboard and ring in 2019....just not so late at night! Bring the whole family as we countdown to 2019 at 12:00 noon. Your cruise will be complete with all the party favors as well as a DJ for entertainment. There will be some great activities throughout the day for the kids as well as a tasty lunch buffet. Some of your favorite characters from our Pirate, Princess, and Super Hero cruises will be onboard celebrating with you! Ring in the new year in style without having to stay up to the wee hours of the night.

The kids are 9 and twin boys 8. Wish they had some activities for the kids. We have been on their dinner cruises many time but felt as though the kids were bored. This was the first sightseeing cruise and i am sure there are other cruises for kids. We have really enjoy B&B Riverboats for years and would highly recommend anyone to go. Great outing!!

Although its been a few decades since I worked on the BB Riverboats, I have taken a few cruises since then. Stopher is correct in that the dinner and events cruises are geared to older adults, unless its a specific event for another age group. Doubtful there'd be another teen on the NYE cruise.The food is "typical" of any dinner cruise - buffet style - not bad but certainly not special.
