The new INACE superyacht line. Two yachts are currently in build

Based in Fortaleza, Brazil, international yacht and ship builder INACE (Indústria Naval do Ceará S.A.) has announced last month its new strategic plan which includes the launch of a new superyacht division with the aim of building modern, world-class explorer yachts for the global market. The plan is based on the partnership between the 52-year-old shipyard, its Brazilian dealer Yacht Collection, and international distributor Flavio Constantino, an experienced yacht broker based in Florida.

The new division is currently working on the first two hulls, both Explora 90′ models, scheduled for launch next February 2021 and debut at the Rio Boat Show in Rio de Janeiro next spring.

The design offer includes two luxury steel/aluminum explorer yacht series, designed in collaboration with international studios HydroTec, HotLab, Guida Design, and Fernando de Almeida Design.

• EXPLORA – Contemporary lines distinguished by plumb bows and large open spaces engineered to carry a multitude of toys and equipment. Available in 90’, 127’, 131’, 145’ and 165’ models.
• AVENTURA – Classic designs marked by raked bows, fluid lines and elegant interior/exterior spaces created to promote social interaction and wellbeing. Available in 100’, 125’, 135’ and 147’ models. 

“INACE has built more than 660 vessels since it was founded in 1968. Among this vast portfolio, built for demanding global clients in the defense, work and leisure industries, are 45 long-range yachts sold to adventurous clients all over the world – most of them still in operation today,” said Constantino, who was named INACE Superyachts director. “Now, INACE Superyachts is drawing on the shipyard’s established expertise in building reliable, seaworthy, long-range vessels to offer the next generation of luxury explorer yachts, developed in collaboration with world-class international design firms and naval architects in order to fulfill the needs and desires of today’s owners; specifically, larger living areas and more efficient hulls.”

First to launch from the new INACE Superyachts division, the Explora 90′ sports a modern plumb bow that not only enhances the yacht’s smooth ride, performance and fuel efficiency, but also creates more internal volume – about 4,300 square feet. Displacing 235 gross tons, this tri-deck full-displacement explorer yacht features five en-suite staterooms, including a main-deck master suite. Built to American specs with twin 800-hp MAN diesels, her top speed is projected to be 13 knots with a range of 3,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

“The combination of INACE’s outstanding ship-building capabilities and the expertise of these forward-thinking designers and naval architects is a winning formula for discerning clients looking for a cost-effective quality yacht,” Constantino said.

INACE CUSTOM 147

The custom project designed by Francesco Guida with the naval archtecture by Hydrotec. Having in mind clients that want their yachts to accommodate and entertain the entire family up to the grand-children, Guida Design came with this big volume 45 meter where the big afterdeck swimming pool and extensive lateral decks are the center stage for the action. In steel and aluminum and with a displacement full load of 420 ton, its expected max speed is 14 knots.

INACE AVENTURA 125

The generous volume of the Aventura 125 allows an expansive asymmetric sky lounge and a swimming pool on the stern/beach club. Designed by Hydro Tec, the yacht is in steel and aluminum and with a displacement full load of 230 ton, its expected max speed is 13 knots. With a LOA of 38,10m and a beam of 8,10, the yacht can accomodate 12 guests in 5 cabins with 7 crew members taking care of them.

NEW CONSTRUCTION PROJECT PHOTOS SHOWN ARE OF SISTERSHIP The INACE YACHTS 111’ LONG RANGE Yacht Explorer has the heart and soul of the proven INACE YACHTS EXPLORER VESSELS. Essentially she is a world cruising ship dressed in Yacht Attire. She is designed to have a “yacht” feel with the efficiencies and reliability of the aft house explorer vessels. She incorporates a number of features usually only found in much larger yachts. As an example a full beam owner’s suite with separate foyer that includes not only a coffee station but an owner’s washer and dryer. There is a five guest cabin layout. This includes 4 cabins on the lower deck, 2 queen cabins and 2 with double single lower berths and Pullman berths, all include generous ensuite heads with large showers. Another large yacht feature, there is a direct service corridor from the lower crew’s quarters to the guest cabins and from the upper crew area to the master cabin, allowing for full service of guest and owners cabins without intruding into areas that are in use. The crew’s quarters are excellent, in this configuration there are 3 crew cabins all with ensuite heads and showers for a maximum of 6 crew, 5 crew should be more then adequate for this vessel. The captain’s cabin is located behind the wheelhouse. The heart and sole of the vessel is the engine room, where there has been no compromise in keeping the vessel to her heritage. All equipment is selected for reliability and ease of service, the arrangement and structure being pulled directly from the proven world cruising vessels that INACE YACHTS has built. There is also an option for a 114' version with larger aft deck.

Brazilian shipyard INACE creates superyacht division

Brazilian yacht and ship builder INACE (Indústria Naval do Ceará S.A.) has launched a new division: INACE Superyachts. A partnership between the 52-year-old shipyard, its Brazilian dealer Yacht Collection, and international distributor Flavio Constantino, a broker based in Florida, the new division’s goal is to develop, build and sell world-class explorer yachts for the global market. 

The new division’s first two hulls, both 90-foot models, are in construction at the yard, with Hull No. 1 scheduled to launch in February 2021 and make its world debut at the Rio Boat Show in Rio de Janeiro in April 2021.

INACE Superyachts’ initial offerings include two steel/aluminum explorer yacht series, designed in collaboration with HydroTec, HotLab, Guida Design, and Fernando de Almeida Design.

• The Explora line has contemporary lines, plumb bows and large open spaces engineered to carry a multitude of toys and equipment. Available in 90-foot (27m), 127-foot (38.5m), 131-foot (40m), 145-foot (44m) and 165-foot (50m) models.
• The Aventura line has a classic design marked by raked bows, fluid lines and elegant interior/exterior spaces to promote social interaction. Available in 100-foot (30m), 125-foot (38m), 135-foot (41m) and 147-foot (44.5m) models.

Timmerman Yachts is a large scale Dutch-Russian consortium superyacht building yard who constructs top quality displacement motor yachts. Timmerman superyachts are built at Moscow Shipyard which is the leading Russian partner in the Timmerman Yachts project. Other European Members of the project include some of the leading Dutch naval architects and designers of large displacement yachts such as Vripack , Guido de Groot Design and Ginton Naval Architects . Additionally, Timmerman Yachts enjoys the involvement of leading British designers Jon Bannenberg Ltd and Francis Design Ltd.

The range of semi-custom private yachts currently built by Timmerman Yachts and designed by their European partners includes models ranging from 26 – 47m, namely the TM26, TM33, TM40 and TM47. Other yachts include the Timmerman FD-52 which is a custom build, designed by Francis Design Ltd which provides exceptional hydrodynamics and a long waterline length hull. This allows for striking looks as well as a speed of 18 knots with low fuel consumption. Modern technologies and equipment are used in the construction of all of the luxury yachts produced by Timmerman Yachts.

Timmerman Yachts was founded in 2003 and named after Franz Timmerman (1644-1702) who introduced Dutch boat building methods to Russia in the 17th century. Timmerman is credited with convincing Peter the First of both the importance and the charm of maritime affairs and he was entrusted with the construction of great fleets of both naval and trading vessels. As well as forging links between two Great European Embassies, Franz Timmerman was also able to arrange for Tsar Peter to study at the Amsterdam boat yards where the Tsar got his "Certificate of Timmerman" as ship joiner.

The yachting company continues this very successful Russian-Dutch partnership, with more than 1000 people who studied in Holland now working at Timmerman Yachts at the Moscow Shipyard in Russia. The name of Franz Timmerman, co-founder of the Russian Navy, is honoured in the title of this project. "Our aim is to build the best motor yachts from the point of view of the ratio “price-quality”, combining in them the newest technologies of European yacht-building with reliability of Russian ship-building, having military roots" -  Dmitry Mironenkov, the president of Timmerman Yachts.

Timmerman has  powerful production capabilities, broad experience, exceptional  specialist knowledge, and cooperation with the leading Dutch Naval Architects which enable them to realize the most incredible and daring ideas into their superyacht projects. The consortium enables its client to receive a luxury motor yacht with unlimited range and best consumer qualities, at an attractive price and in reasonable time.
