The gorgeous 163-foot (49.7m) OHANA is a high-performance sailing yacht designed by leading firm Dubois and built in New Zealand by luxury superyacht builders Fitzroy. HUGE EXTERIOR AREAS

The enormous deck areas of OHANA offer many options to enjoy the alfresco life. The aft cockpit offers a large sunbathing area with sun pads, perfect for lounging in the Mediterranean sun before descending the stern stairs to the swimming platform. From here, guests can slide in the water to cool off, enjoy the tranquility of a quiet snorkel, or make use of OHANA’s extensive collection of dive gear including a dive compressor to explore deeper underwater (rendezvous diving only). Guests can also make use of the onboard windsurfs, paddleboards, and dinghies, and take lessons from the onboard instructors. The large sofas and coffee tables of the flybridge are perfect for gathering and enjoying a coffee or relaxing in the early evening with a drink. The alfresco dining area of the main deck is perfect for formal or informal meals, with sheltered sides enabling guests to enjoy the sea air whatever the weather.

ELEGANT LIVING

OHANA’s high-performance does not forgo the elegance and luxury of a superyacht charter. The neutral palette of interior areas creates an atmosphere of understated decadence while sumptuously comfortable furnishings invite guests to sink in and enjoy the serenity. The stunning black marble table in the main salon is perfect for elegant dinners prepared by OHANA’s excellent chef; after which, guests can retire to the sofas of the main salon to enjoy a digestif from the bar or gather for relaxed movie nights with the cinema setup. The five staterooms on board OHANA include a full-beam master, two doubles, and four singles. Up to ten guests are accommodated on board, cared for by OHANA’s experienced crew of eight. All staterooms all feature en-suites and are lavishly decorating in keeping with the interior décor of OHANA.

Ohana 80, is a luxury sailing yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, intimate charters, and island adventures. Ohana accommodates up to ten guests in five deluxe, king-size ensuite cabins. The king beds are all floor-level berths with full-walk-around access. Airy, luxurious guest cabins each have a mirror-covered wall to allow for maximum light during the day, roomy closets and storage spaces, temperature control, a retractable flatscreen TV, and an immense bathroom. All heads are ensuite featuring spa-like, waterfall shower heads and full-size commodes. A perfect setting to unwind and relax after a long day in the sun.

With three fully-equipped wet bars, a central open-concept galley, and seamless flow between the yacht’s interior and exterior spaces, Ohana creates a perfect platform to host guests comfortably. A vast, central lounging space with panoramic views opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit. The bow benefits from a cozy lounge, well shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the spacious cockpit offering a lovely al fresco dining area. The cockpit overlooks an extra-large hydraulic platform that can act as a swim-up island once the jet tender is splashed. From the aft bathing platform, you can launch water toys, try scuba diving for the first time, or sun tan all at sea level. All the areas combined form a universal, open environment where flexibility and freedom reign.

Unique to Ohana, a day-head is located in the aft cockpit to allow for maximum comfort during the day. The day head is complete with a wash basin and changing table for our younger guests. In addition, there are two waterfall shower heads by each aft sugar scoop for fresh water rinses throughout the sunny, salty days. Underwater lights line the waterline for added ambiance in the evening.

High bulwarks and a large beam lend to the superstructure design allowing for a generous flybridge and bimini that extends its full length. Along with dual helms, the flybridge is dedicated to leisure, with comfortable seating, plush sun pads, and a large jacuzzi. There are options to dine alfresco while enjoying movie night with the family or catch a game on the large, retractable flatscreen TV while simultaneously enjoying a 360 view of the Caribbean.

Rate Information

Ohana is BVI-based, and BVI Taxes, Permits, and Licenses are paid by Ohana.

Scuba Diving: During a seven-day charter onboard Ohana, certified divers can dive up to five times, one dive per full charter day, with the guidance of a scuba instructor. Additional dives can be added based on the itinerary and Captain Tyler’s discretion. The cost of scuba diving is $100 per dive/diver.

TYLER BORUFF

Captain Tyler is always on the move and ready for an adventure, he is a man of many hobbies and easily relates to others. He grew up fishing, boating, wakeboarding, and water-skiing.

When he was ten he sailed for the first time and he quickly became hooked. In college, he worked as a windsurfing and scuba instructor. His passion for being on the water followed him to the East Coast where he owned his own fishing boats and served as a first mate/instructor on several dive boats. Tyler has always been an outdoorsman whether it’s hunting or backpacking in the mountains of North Carolina, where he calls home, cave diving in North Florida, or free diving in the Keys. He satisfies his land-based tendencies by hiking around the islands and finding the best jumping spots to plunge into the ocean. On the water, he enjoys throwing out a line or diving for lobsters in the USVI, and in the BVI he enjoys kiteboarding. In the water, he is an avid free diver and exceptional at fish identification.

Shawn hardesty.

Shawn grew up on the coast of North Carolina, where hobbies such as scuba diving, surfing and sailing started at an early age. His love for this life lead him to pursue a career as a USCG Captain.

Shawn’s yachting experience started as a second engineer on motor yachts before finding his niche as a captain on sailing catamarans. His background on super yachts allow him to bring a high-level of service to his craft - an eye for detail and a pride in service.

While Shawn’s charter captain career has centered in the Caribbean, he has had some remarkable opportunities all over the world. Shawn has spent time cruising the Rivas province of SW Pacific side of Nicaragua leading boat trips tailored for fishing and surfing. The past several years he has been captaining in Europe and French Polynesia. His chartering experience includes extensive cruising in the Caribbean Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the South Pacific.

Wherever he is in the world, you can notice his passion for being outdoors which allows him to connect his body and mind through water. Catching surf or wind, he is always up for an adventure.

Josh has been on the water for as long as he can remember. Growing up, Josh learned to wakeboard and water ski. He spent his spare time fouling and sailing boats of all sizes for pleasure and racing.

Josh has been on the water for as long as he can remember. Growing up, Josh learned to wakeboard and water ski. He spent his spare time fouling and sailing boats of all sizes for pleasure and racing. He was always drawn to the water’s edge. It didn’t take long for him to plunge in and get hooked on all that diving had to offer. Under the surface, he found a whole new level of passion after he took his junior open water course that would follow him into adulthood.

Josh became a scuba instructor in the hopes that he could explore exotic places. This has led him to have a myriad of jobs all over the Caribbean. He has worked on some of the most notable liveaboards and worked in partnership with companies like National Geographic.

Josh has also served as a rescue diver, worked as a support diver for environmental studies, learned to be a salvage diver and even mapped/surveyed dive sites. His diving resume is impressive giving him a comfort and ease underwater. Noticeable as he serves as Ohana’s lead dive instructor. Josh also has a knack for engineering which is crucial to his role as the mate.

His journey started on Ohana when he got the rare opportunity to cross the Atlantic and from then he was instantly itching to get back onboard. Josh is here to make sure you also cannot wait to be back onboard too!

Despite growing up in a landlocked province in Canada, Maddy’s passion for aquatic pursuits has always been undeniable. She started scuba diving at age ten and has experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor.

She started scuba diving at age ten and has experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor. Maddy spent her summers wake surfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding.

Recently graduated from university, with five years as a varsity student-athlete, Maddy's competitive spirit makes her always up for a beach game, a hike, or family board game. Her sense of team-work and commitment to the best experience radiates through everything she does. She will ensure each moment aboard Ohana is filled with laughter, relaxation, and joy accompanied by the hydrating drink of your choice!

Maddy has a background in the high-end service industry. She has pursued continuing education which has earned her key knowledge when it comes to pairing your wines, whipping up custom cocktails, and making sure your cravings are catered to. Her creative side and attention to detail shines when it comes to curated party planning, laying beautiful table scapes, and ensuring your space onboard exceeds your expectations.

Maddy's journey with Ohana began as a guest. She chartered with Tyler three times and spent the entirety of her last charter repeatedly badgering Tyler for a job. So, heed this warning: the beauty of the BVI and the unforgettable experience aboard Ohana will keep you coming back, maybe indefinitely!

Chef’s Menu

Chef Nikolaj’s menus focus on featuring local items in a creative and sophisticated way. This means fresh-farmed eggs, hand picked microgreens, and island-farmed vegetables when available. Local hot sauces, inspired infused flavors and supporting local every chance we get.

Breads and baked goods are all made in the galley or sourced from local bakeries. He uses organic and high quality ingredients. Ohana supports keeping sustainability a priority when selecting meats and fish for our guests.

Dietary requirements and preferences can be met with advance notice. We are happy to accommodate everyone from picky eaters to those on medical diets. Most menu options can be served in a gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian modification easily. Certain diets require high-cost provisioning and may be subject to an additional cost.

Menus and planned meals are subject to change at any time due to remote provisioning restrictions, guest requests, sailing plans or at the chef’s discretion.

For celebrations requiring special items, themed decoration or large dessert requests, the guests may be asked to take Happy Hour on shore to give the crew time to set up, set the mood, and aim for a beautiful surprise. Please give advance notice for celebration cakes.

Chef Nikolaj’s menus focus on featuring local items in a creative and sophisticated way. This means fresh-farmed eggs, hand picked microgreens, and island-farmed vegetables when available. Local hot sauces, inspired infused flavors and supporting local every chance we get. 

Breads and baked goods are all made in the galley or sourced from local bakeries. He uses organic and high quality ingredients. Ohana supports keeping sustainability a priority when selecting meats and fish for our guests. 

Dietary requirements and preferences can be met with advance notice. We are happy to accommodate everyone from picky eaters to those on medical diets. Most menu options can be served in a gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian or pescetarian modification easily. Certain diets require high-cost provisioning and may be subject to an additional cost. 

Menus and planned meals are subject to change at any time due to remote provisioning restrictions, guest requests, sailing plans or at the chef’s discretion. 

For celebrations requiring special items, themed decoration or large dessert requests, the guests may be asked to take Happy Hour on shore to give the crew time to set up, set the mood, and aim for a beautiful surprise. Please give advance notice for celebration cakes.

A General Description of Sailing Yacht OHANA

This sailing yacht OHANA is a superyacht of generous proportions. This 43 m (143 ft) luxury yacht was a new build that was completed by at Perini Navi in 2004. OHANA used to be named the project or yacht name C.2055. She is a recent ketch motor sailer. Superyacht OHANA is a superb yacht that is able to accommodate a total of 12 people on board and has around 8 crew members. The naval architect who actualised the drawings in respect of the yacht is Perini Navi and Ron Holland Design. Perini Navi was also the interior designer who completed this boat's interior styling.

The New Build & Designing with respect to Luxury Yacht OHANA

The yacht's general design work came from Perini Navi and Ron Holland Design. The formal naval architect intellectual property are the products of Perini Navi. Sailing Yacht OHANA received her stylish interior designing from the interior design firm of Perini Navi. In 2004 she was actually launched with triumph in Viareggio and following sea trials and final completion was thereafter delivered to the yacht owner. Perini Navi completed their new build sailing yacht in Italy. Her main hull was built out of aluminium. The sailing yacht superstructure component is fabricated for the most part using aluminium. With a width of 9.43 m or 31 feet OHANA has fairly large size. She has a 8.57 (28 ft) draught of 8.57m (28ft). She had refit maintenance and changes completed by 2005.

Engines & Speeds For S/Y OHANA:

The sailing yacht for its propulsion uses twin efficient DEUTZ-MWM diesel engine(s) and can accelerate to a swift top end speed of around 14 knots. The main engine of the OHANA produces 600 horse power (or 440 kilowatts). Her total HP is 1200 HP and her total Kilowatts are 880. OHANA is propelled by twin screw propellers. This yacht’s high cruising speed is 14 knots which produces a range of 4000.

Sara would love to have any of the "guys" as Manny's as well. They were so good with the two boys. In addition, Alice may be the best Chef on any yacht! Sara and I have been lucky enough to taste food from the best restaurants and chefs in the world, and Alice is at the top... I am not kidding or being gratuitous.. She is worth her weight in gold, not to mention being a lovely person... The boat was also extremely comfortable and we enjoyed all the toys... We even contributed to dinner a couple of nights through Beck's fishing with a couple of Mahi Mahi, some Snapper and even a Lobster...The weather also turned out to be "goldilocks like", not too cold and not too hot! All in all very pleasant. We also all fell in love with the Exumas.... For Sara and me, the second time. This will not be our last time on the Ohana....Appreciate all your efforts on our behalf! Description.

Ohana 80, is a luxury sailing yacht ideal for exclusive getaways, intimate charters and island adventures. Ohana accommodates up to ten guests in five deluxe, king-size ensuite cabins. A custom layout featuring hand-picked design elements made in-factory at Sunreef’s shipyard in Poland ensures she is one-of-a-kind.

With three fully-equipped wet bars, a central open-concept galley, and seamless flow between the yacht’s interior and exterior spaces, Ohana creates a perfect platform to host guests comfortably. Classy lines underscore her modern style with a classic edge. The contemporary decor finds softness in the warm, light woods and coastal blues of her inviting interior. Her bold exterior boasts a custom color hull.

A vast, central lounging space with a panoramic view opens both onto the bow terrace and cockpit. The bow benefits from a cozy lounge, well shielded from sun and wind. To the aft, the saloon merges with the spacious cockpit offering a lovely al fresco dining area. The cockpit overlooks an extra large hydraulic platform that can act as a swim-up island once the jet tender is splashed. From the aft bathing platform, you can launch water toys, try scuba diving for the first time or sun tan all at sea-level. All the areas combined form a universal, open environment where flexibility and freedom reign.

Ohana has a built in scuba diving compressor and an area designated to tanks and top-of-the-line gear. Four Seabobs are also on offer along with a wide array of water toys and adventure sports to try.

Unique to Ohana, a day-head is located in the aft cockpit to allow for maximum comfort during the day. The day head is complete with a wash basin and changing table for our younger guests. In addition, there are two waterfall shower heads by each aft sugar scoop for fresh water rinses throughout the sunny, salty days. Underwater lights line the waterline for an added ambiance in the evening.

High bulwarks and a large beam lend to the superstructure design allowing for a generous flybridge and bimini that extends its full length. Along with dual helms, the flybridge is dedicated to leisure, with comfortable seating, plush sunpads, and a large jacuzzi. There are options to dine al fresco while enjoying movie night with the family or catch a game on the large, retractable flatscreen TV while simultaneously enjoying a 360 view of the Caribbean.

The hulls provide impressive volumes to this large yacht. Airy, luxurious guest cabins encompass king-size beds, roomy closets and storage spaces, retractable TV and an immense bathroom. A perfect setting to unwind and relax after a long day in the sun.

Ohana is a Hawaiian term meaning family. It often refers to one’s extended support system, including nuclear family, extended family, close friends, colleagues and community groups. The word is imbued with loyalty, compassion, support and love. In native Hawaiian culture, it is a great honor to be a part of an ohana; it means that you’ll never be forgotten or left behind. The root word ʻohā refers to the shoot of the taro plant, a Hawaiian staple. Ana is a word that conveys regeneration. Just as the taro plant produces offshoots, a person’s family is multigenerational and grows in different directions to include all of the people they love.

The 24.4m/80'1" catamaran yacht 'Ohana' is an excellent new superyacht for the luxury charter market. Delivered by the Polish shipyard Sunreef Yachts and featuring interior styling by Polish designer Sunreef Yachts she can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 cabins.

Built in 2023, Ohana celebrates the ocean in style, offering relaxed luxury with her abundance of deck space and grants access to the world's most beautiful, hard-to-reach anchorages thanks to her shallow draft.

Guest Accommodation

Ohana offers guest accommodation for up to 10 guests in 5 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 4 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

A charter on Ohana is comfortable and convenient thanks to the provided amenities, notably a deck jacuzzi, perfect to enjoy the scenery with your favourite drink in hand.

Set against the backdrop of your chosen cruising ground, you and your guests can enjoy fun on the water with the collection of water toys and accessories aboard Ohana. Principle among these are waterskis that are hugely entertaining whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pro. Additionally, there are SEABOBs, that allow you to skim along the surface or steer under the crystal water and experience life swimming with the fish. After purchasing a boat in Channel Island Harbor, we hired Steve to deliver it up the coast to Monterey bay. We couldn't be happier with the result. Steve carefully analyzed the weather to pick the best time to minimize stress on the boat, used his skill and experience to overcome an electrical issue underway, and arrived at the destination ahead of schedule. He sent us frequent updates on his progress underway, and once he arrived at the destination, he took the time to go over everything that he learned about the boat and its condition during the 2+ day sail. I highly recommend Steve to anyone looking to have a boat delivered. I was so impressed with his knowledge that I plan on taking a sailing course with him in the near future.

I must echo some already rave reviews about Captain Steve and his company, Bay and Beyond Sailing. Both my wife and I have taken a number of sailing courses over a number of years, though we never developed the level of confidence to venture out on our own. Since working with Stephen Seely, our confidence has soared as has our understanding of the mechanics of sailing and navigation. Steve is patient and thorough; extremely knowledgeable and able to share that knowledge instructionally as well as by example. We have never enjoyed the bay so much as we are now, confident that we have learned from a master. Now, our extended family is getting involved too! Sailing has become a significant part of our life thanks in large part to Captain Steve!

Well knowledgable, helpful, easy going and very affordable. Did a couple hours and a couple more just riding around the bay at leisure, had a blast! Truly recommend Steve for any instruction or occasion.

Captain Steve and his mate provided excellent guidance in relocating our 52' trawler (that we just took ownership of) down to Southern California, from the Sacramento Delta. They constantly re-evaluated our fuel needs, so that we would not have a possibility of going empty when there would be no refueling possibilities. They also kept up on weather and sea conditions, so that our voyage would be safe. We ended up cruising down in the perfect weather window (harsher conditions occurred right before and right after our trip). His "mate" was actually a captain himself, but Steve did not charge us the rate of two captains, so it was like we got two captains for the price of only one and a half. Both of them were easy to work with, and were very open to suggestions from my girlfriend, who has many, many years of boating experience herself. I bet they probably learned something from her as well, but we couldn't have have made the voyage without them. What an adventure it was! Thanks Steve and Len!

Captain Stephen Seeley provided us with a first class tour of the bay, including sailing lessons, to celebrate my wife's birthday. Always wanting to sail, she was thoroughly delighted with our sailing cruise. The captain's boat was in dry dock being painted when I called and I feared he would not be able to help us, but when I told him it was a lifelong dream of hers, he decided to find a way. Not wanting to let down my wife, he asked a friend of his to use his boat which was allowed. Captain Len Cerruzi therefore provided his beautiful boat, Island Time, to be our vessel. They took us out on the bay, south of the San Mateo bridge, at eleven in the morning. It was a perfect day, and we sailed for hours on a calm sea. (Had the sea been rough, we would have felt quite safe with these two men who clearly know the nuts and bolts of sailing very well.) We learned sailing lingo and got insight into sailing practice, and more importantly, we immensely enjoyed our hosts. The highlight for us was when my wife got to steer the boat while the Captain's guided her in tacking the sails. She truly experienced the trip as a dream come true and I was a lucky man to find this great opportunity to fulfill her life-long wish. There is no doubt that we will use this company again the next time that we go sailing. One must not just enjoy a safe trip when sailing when one also can enjoy the captain(s) who were most personable and who went out of their ways to make sure that you get what you need, and so much more. Island Time was equipped with a barbecue, so next time, we will bring along some steaks.
