Showboat Branson Belle

Showboat Branson Belle is a riverboat—more specifically, a showboat—on Table Rock Lake near Branson, Missouri . The lake is landlocked by the Table Rock Dam on one side and the Beaver Lake Dam on the other side. Being a showboat , she hosts lunch and dinner shows throughout the year.

Themed after the majestic showboats of the 1800s, the Showboat Branson Belle  is one of the top things to do and takes guests on a two-hour cruise across the waters of Table Rock Lake . As you stroll the ship’s four decks, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the lush Ozark Mountains — beautiful at any time of the year.

Before and after your cruise, you can enjoy the scenery and shopping at the ship’s dock, White River Landing.

Your Showboat Branson Belle experience includes live entertainment reminiscent of Those Grand Old Showboatin’ Days of the late 1800s.

This season we’re setting sail with a dazzling variety show featuring talented singers, dancers and a live band performing hits from the 1960s to today.

Your ticket includes a delicious three-course meal prepared fresh in the ship’s galley which could be among the best places to eat in our area!

Construction and Launch

The boat attraction was constructed at its port at White River Landing and was launched on August 12, 1994. The boat was launched into Table Rock Lake at a speed of 14 knots (26 km/h; 16 mph) on launching rails lubricated with two tons of bananas. The bananas were used for lubrication because they were biodegradable and would not have polluted Table Rock Lake as would have grease. The boat is claimed by its owner to be the largest ship on a landlocked lake in the United States.

We loved the Showboat so much. Each minute there was entertaining and the food delicious. We would most definitely go again if we visit Brandon.

We had the best time at showboat Branson bell. Amazing family oriented place. Would recommend everyone to go if you can.

We have not had the opportunity to take the cruise on the Branson Belle, but would so like to do so!!

If you’re visiting the Ozarks, one thing you’ll want to do for sure is get on the water. But if you don’t have your own boat , that could pose a problem. Renting a boat is expensive and so is buying one (not to mention maintaining it and hauling it around). 

The alternative? Buy tickets to a dinner cruise . These cruises usually provide food, entertainment, and fun on the water for several hours. And you can experience it all for a fraction of the price of boating. Branson’s Table Rock Lake has its very own dinner cruise called the Showboat Branson Belle.

What is Showboat Branson Belle?

Branson Belle is a showboat. That means that it is staffed with entertainers (singers, dancers, actors, magicians, comedians, and other performing artists). You can expect to schedule your experience ahead for a specific departure time.

Typically, the showboat departs at noon, 4pm and 8pm.

When you arrive, you and other guests will have your photo taken, and then you can make your way to your assigned seats. From there, your server will greet you and grab your drink order.

The show starts shortly after and includes many types of performers, including a fan-favorite comedic magician. 

During intermission, you’ll get to explore the deck of the boat and enjoy beautiful views of Table Rock Lake.

There's about 20 minutes to spend on the deck of the boat during intermission, but you're welcome to enjoy it at any time during your cruise.

While you're aboard, you might get lucky enough to grab an autograph from one of the performers before you depart.

Seating Options

There are two ticketing options available for Showboat Branson Belle: General Admission and Captain’s Club. Here’s the difference:

General Seating

Regular tickets include banquet-style seating (long tables with chairs facing the stage) and a standard menu for your 3-course meal. The seating is actually closer to the stage than the Captain’s Club seating, but you’re in rows on a level floor, so your view may be obstructed by guests in front of you.

 The meal is the same for all guests in general seating and includes:

For Adults: Pot Roast, Chicken, Green Beans, & Mashed Potatoes with dinner roll

For Kids: Chicken nuggets, Mac & Cheese, Green Beans, & Applesauce

Ooey Gooey Butter Cake

Captain’s Club

Captain’s Club is an upgraded seating option.

It includes premium menu choices from a selection of four entrees:

Even kids in Captain's Club seating get treated with a choice between chicken tenders or prime rib.

Captain's club guests have another decision to make: dessert. You'll have your choice of four desserts with a Captain’s Club upgrade (various cake options, including cheesecake).

Captain’s club tickets come with priority boarding (an hour earlier than general admission), and include elevated balcony seats onboard to ensure you can get an unobstructed view of the show.

The last show of the Year is on New Years Eve (Dec 31, 2024).

What happens if I miss the boat?

There are no refunds or reschedule if you miss the boat. The boat will leave the dock at your scheduled show time, weather permitting. We advise arriving at least 45 minutes prior to show time to check-in and enjoy the gift shop.

How many decks or levels are there aboard the riverboat?

The dining theater area of the ship has three levels, all of which provide excellent views of the stage. There is one exterior deck on the very top of the ship, where the captain's wheelhouse is located. The lowest level of the ship houses the engine room and kitchen.

Are there many stairs to climb on the Showboat Branson Belle?

Most of their seating is located on the main deck, which is where you will enter when you board the Showboat. You can travel by stairs, or by elevator to the other two decks where seating is also available.

Is there plenty of parking?

Yes. There is level parking for 350 cars.

Will I get seasick on the Showboat Branson Belle?

No, that is very unlikely. The Showboat is 78 feet wide and 265 feet long, making it very stable. In addition, Table Rock Lake is very calm and winds are minimal. You will notice very little movement on board the vessel as it moves through the water.

Is the Showboat Branson Belle wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all of the riverboat's interior decks are accessible by elevator, and all restrooms are accessible to those with disabilities. Please make wheelchair accommodation requests in the comments section above when booking your reservation.

Here’s a list of the Best Things To Do In Branson That All Ages Will Love This time, however, I was determined to fit it into our schedule! One of the first things I checked into was getting tickets for our planned November trip to Branson. We had driven to and over Table Rock Dam and thought this would be a great way to see Table Rock Lake and view the Ozark Mountains too. We were in luck because Branson Belle’s Christmas Show is known as America’s Most Entertaining Christmas Cruise! After experiencing the dinner show cruise – we certainly agree! The Showboat Branson Belle’s Christmas Dinner Show was one of the best shows we’ve seen in Branson. History of The Showboat Branson Belle The Branson Belle Showboat is part of the Silver Dollar City Attractions . Known as the Queen of the Ozarks, she is themed after the majestic showboat from the 1800s To give you some perspective of its size, the Branson Showboat is four stories high and is nearly the length of a football field! We had so much fun exploring the wrap-around decks during the intermission and watching the paddles turn. Although it was November, the views from the boat were spectacular. Fun Fact: The Showboat Branson Belle was launched on August 13, 1994, from the lakeside shipyard using two tons of bananas as a lubricant. It took nine seconds to slide her into the water! Showboat Branson Belle Tickets There are two types of tickets to purchase for the dinner cruise: General Seating and Captain’s Club. General Seating includes banquet-style seating and a standard three-course meal. Captain’s Club Seating includes priority boarding one hour before cruise time and a selection from the Captain’s Premium menu. There is quite a bit of difference between the two ticket prices: General Seating Tickets start at $63 per person for Adults (ages 12+) / $36 per person for Kids (ages 4-11) plus tax. Ages 3 and under are free. Captain’s Club Tickets start at $93 per person for Adults (ages 12+) / $56 per person for Kids (ages 4-11) plus tax. Ages 3 and under are free. We decided to purchase the Captain’s Club tickets for our family to get priority boarding for my elderly father, who has trouble walking distances so he would not have to stand in the long general boarding line. Was it worth the extra cost? What did we get for being Captain’s Club ticket holders? That’s a great question! Here’s our experience on the Branson Belle so you can decide which ticket to purchase for your family! Arrival And Boarding The Showboat Branson Belle Being from New York, one of the first things we think about is parking. As we turned into White River Landing where the Branson Belle is docked, we were happy to see that there is ample parking for the Showboat! Our cruise was at 3:00 p.m. so we arrived around 1:45. Boarding is one hour before the cruise. Since it was during Thanksgiving, the entire walkway and dock area were decorated for Christmas! One of the first things you should do is stop to take a photo with the Polar Bears! It was quite a long walk to the dock and boarding area, but there were plenty of benches along the way to sit and rest. All I could think about, however, was that the walk TO the dock area was all downhill, which meant that coming back up to the parking lot would be much more difficult for my father. In hindsight, I should have requested a wheelchair – especially for the walk back – but we made it both ways! While you wait to board, White River Landing has two specialty shops with souvenirs and elegant ladies’ apparel, jewelry, and accessories. Plus, singers from the dinner show entertained us while we waited. There is plenty of seating in the dock area, and we were thankful that my dad could just sit and relax until the Captain’s Club Ticket holders were called to board. We only had to wait a few minutes before it was our turn to board the Branson Belle. When you reach the paddleboat, they will take a commemorative photo of your group. During intermission, they will come to your seat to see if you want to purchase the photo. Dinner On The Showboat Branson Belle After being directed to our Premium Seats, our server came to take our order. The Captain’s Club menu has a very nice selection of menu and dessert options. General Observations About The Branson Belle Ticket Types From our observations, there are several differences besides being called to board the Branson Belle first between the General Tickets and the Captain’s Club tickets. One is the seating type. General Seating tickets are banquet-style seating on the main floor level. Since our seats were elevated, I really can’t comment on whether there were any seats where their view was blocked by the guest in front of them or not. Everyone in the general seating area was having just as good a time as we were in the premium seating area. Plus, they were called on more often to come to the stage! So, if that’s something you LOVE to do, you might want to consider purchasing this type of ticket! The main difference we saw was in the meals. The General Ticket holders did not have the selection of entrees, desserts, or beverages that we did. There were five people in our party and we all chose the Signature Angus Ribeye. It did not disappoint! For dessert, I chose the Lemon Mousse cake. My dad had the Caramel Pecan Cheesecake and the others chose the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. All were delicious! Branson Belle Dinner Show The Master of Ceremonies for the show is a magician. He is very entertaining and brings guests on stage for several of his magic tricks. We loved the singers and dancers who performed. All musicians were very talented and performed all genres to appeal to all ages in the audience. They were accompanied by a 4-piece band who could play and sing as well. All of the performers were fantastic musicians and dancers and we enjoyed the show very much! Topside On The Branson Belle During intermission, we got up to go to the top level of the showboat to see the views. There is an elevator to take you to the top, or you can use the stairs. Once on the fourth level, we walked around the paddleboat. We were also fascinated by the paddlewheels doing their work! After intermission, we were served coffee and dessert and enjoyed the second half of the show. Soon, the two-hour dinner cruise was over and as we headed off the boat, we enjoyed the lights of Branson from the dock and the views of the beautiful Showboat Branson Belle.
